DIO sat in his bed, obscured by complete darkness, his chin was rested snuggly on his fist as he looked to the floor in disappointment. There, a woman was bleeding out on the floor, with a massive hole in her throats, blood gushing out vigorously from her mouth and said wound. Her lungs were now flooded with her own fluids, drowning on dry land. The woman couldn't even scream out or writhe on the floor, all she just dud was lay on her back, her cold eye staring at the ceiling, and she attempted to take her last breath wanting freedom from her pain… And then she did. The blood that pooled up in her mouth spilled onto the pristine floor of the dark room. DIO just sat there and sighed deeply. He wanted to see the girl he had just been in bed with writhe on the floor, screaming in agony as she bleed to death, but since he pierced her carotid artery, all she just did was suffocate silently, much to DIO's dismay.

I must admit it is my fault for forgetting basic anatomy… DIO thought to himself.

He rubbed his temples, the amount of boredom that he experiences in the daytime is enough for him to want to open the windows and scorch in the sunlight, he can wait for Dusk, but that was still another 4 hours away.

"Damn it…" DIO sighed as he sprawled on back onto his bed.

He ran his finger across the scar that wrapped around the entirety of his neck, the line that separates his head and the Jonathan's body, the very one he stole from him all those years ago. Although he hated Jonathan and all those in the Joestar bloodline, he was careful with the body of his nemesis, not just because it is his body now, but something else. Was it the raw strength it possesses? Or was it something that ran deeper that DIO couldn't quite put his finger on… No matter, he is hopeful that his new physique and new power, a Stand known only as "The World" can help him achieve his goal of decimating what remains of the Joestar bloodline: Joseph, Jonathan's Grandson; Holly, Joseph's Daughter; and her delinquent son, Jotaro Kujo. How tainted has the bloodline become? Even if he drained the blood from those 3, will it be enough to insatiate his appetite for Joestar blood? It's a question that will remain unanswered until his final confrontation with the Joestars occurs. Until then… Unrelenting Boredom.

Suddenly he felt heavy as if his weight gain suddenly skyrocketed, his internal body pressure also began to rise, as he felt himself beginning to sink into his luxurious king-sized bed.

"HUH?" DIO cried out. "WHAT IS THIS A STAND ATTACK?"

He tried to claw himself out of his own bed, using the neat herculean strength of his adoptive brother to lift himself, but it was to no avail.

NO! How can I, DIO, be losing to a pathetic, cowardly stand who refuses to show itself? It's a shame to admit but I must use my stand.

"COME FORWARD, THE WORLD!" DIO screamed out as all the little movements around him ceased to a halt.

However, even in the time stop the weight began building up, and darkness- no, his own mattress began to eat around his eyes. Is my own mattress a stand? No… That's preposterous… Its… something else!

As his time stop expired, the immortal DIO felt himself start suffocating and then everything turned to black.

The Screeching Vultures

Episode 1: Sympathy from a Devil

DIO opens his eyes to an unfamiliar environment. His dark grey wall of his room in his mansion was now a dark red, his bed was gone and instead it was replaced with various black oak wood chairs, lined with surprisingly bright red velvet cushioning. DIO sat up, breathing a sigh of relief, relieved that he can breathe unhindered again. He glanced around, looking for more cluse to where he is. A large fireplace was the center piece of the room, hanging over it is a wooden photo frame, painted in a pearly white to give it a luxurious shine. In the photo frame was a blacked-out portrait of someone, or something…

"Finally, it's about time you wake up." A small voice said from behind him.

DIO turned his head a bit to face a small looking person in a suit. Th person was about 5'4, his face extremely young man. No not a man, a child! Somewhere between 13-15 years old. He was wearing a 3-piece red and white suit, in his hand was a glass of what seemed like white wine. He looked down on the confused DIO who was still sitting on the floor, something about this child screamed "danger," it was something foreign to DIO, but something that he cannot ignore.

"THE WORLD!"DIO quickly said, in an attempt to summon his Time Stopping Stand, to punch the child in the face.

A beat. Nothing happened.

The Child glanced around, confused.

"Are- Are you trying to do?" He grimaced at DIO, utterly confused.

DIO was equally confused; The World was loyal to him and to him alone. Not once did it fail to manifest before this, something was putting a retardant on his soul, putting the manifestation of his own fighting spirit in a state of perpetual limbo. Was this a doing of a stand? DIO strained himself thinking on how The World's absence was even possible, so much so that veins were throbbing on his forehead and his smooth, silky pale skin was now flush red. The Child squinted his eyes, irises shaded in a scarlet similar to DIO's blood red eyes when he was younger, back when Jonathan was still alive.

"Are you alright? You look constipated. What are you trying to do?" The Child asked, face getting closer to the British Blonde Vampire's face.

DIO was sudden aggravated by The Child's proximity to him, so he did the only rational thing to do when an adolescent invades your personal bubble, he threw a 2 ton punch at his face. However, the child with just the swipe of his hand, smacked DIO's lethal punch away from him, sending it crashing down onto the pristine white floor, with a mini explosion. Dust blew up from out of the floor where DIO's hand landed. DIO only stared at his hand that was in a hole in the floor, unmoving, only in a state of disbelief. His breath hitched, the white marble of the floor cracked, and under it, a black, a darker than black stone was revealed.

"Oh fuuuuuck…" The Child whined. "AH YOU BROKE THE DAMN FLOOR!" He grabbed his head and began to make a sideways dance in woe. "Bad Blonde Vampire, VERY BAD BLONDE VAMPIRE."

However, DIO wasn't paying attention to The Child, only down at his hand, still on the ground and still covered in dust. How did he… Deflect it? DIO thought to himself. If The Child were any normal child, a punch from DIO would be enough to dislocate his jaw from his entire face, not just from his skull. The punch would have been an Instant Kill, but this Child was no normal child. He deflected a 2-ton object going at 40 centimeters per second. DIO was no medical expert, perfectly exemplified by his forgetfulness on how close he was to the carotid artery when killing the very woman he had shared a bed with; but even he knew that amount of force going into The Child's arm would have taken his arm clean off it's socket, or at least given him a compound fracture. But no… The Child slapped it away as if it was nothing but an insignificant gnat, and he was more concerned about the cracked floor. Is this Child a Stand user, or was he himself a Stand-?

Before DIO could continue to think about the improbability of the event that just transpired a few seconds ago he was interrupted by some cold droplets on his right cheek. He touched the unknown liquid and rubbed his fingers on it… Water. He slowly turned his head back to the Child. He was standing there, holding a pink spray bottle in his hand, looking very disappointed in DIO, like a mother watching her mischievous child do something foolish. He had just sprayed DIO with water as if he was a cat. Angered by this he sent 2 more, simultaneous punches towards The Child.

"DO NOT LOOK DOWN ON ME STUPID BRAT, I AM DIO!" DIO roared.

The Child kept a blank look on his face as he swiped away the 2 devastating punches with ease. His right arm flung over and back behind him, his humerus snapping in half with a cringe inducing SNAP. His left arm deflected back into his solar plexus, instantly knocking the wind out of him with such force that DIO thought he flattened his own lungs. DIO hunched over, trying to regain his breath, trying to ignore the searing pain coming from his right arm.

"Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact… same fucking thing… over and over again, expecting… shit to change" The Child stated, like he heard this quote before, and saying it verbatim, just to mock the vampire.

The Child walked away from DIO as the vampire attempted to catch his breath. DIO tried to lift his head to look at The Child, however his vision is too blurry to see any specific details about his movements, but he can make out one thing. The Child's bright red blazer contrasted from the darker red from the walls, this helped DIO make out what The Child was doing; he seemed to be pouring something into a clear glass cup. After heaving a few more times, DIO's vision finally improved enough to see a glass cup placed right in front of him, with a thick red liquid inside.

"What is this?" DIO asked, inspecting the glass.

"Blood. Human blood. It's that compound fracture of yours… Look, the bone is sticking out of your skin." The Child explained, leaning on a beautiful black stained oak table.

DIO looked at his right arm, it is bent in the incorrect direction, the piece of his humerus was in fact piercing his skin, crimson liquid spewing out every now and again, with red hot pain encompassing his arm. DIO was suspicious of The Child's sudden turn to friendliness after humiliating the Vampire; so, he eyed the glass, believing the blood to be tainted with something. However, the pain in his right arm was too much to contemplate further, so he dipped his finger into the glass. Soon the blood was absorbed by his skin, setting the bone back into place and closing the very large wound.

DIO sat there silently. What am I experiencing?

"Who are you?" DIO asked The Child.

The Child tsked a couple of time. "No, no, no. Introductions are for when the OTHERS get here…"

"Hmm… Excuse me… Others?" DIO asked.

The Child pulled out a deck of playing cards from his breast pocket of his red blazer. He opened it and began shuffling the cards expertly, he raised the deck above him and made a downward arm motion, causing all the cards in the deck to float in the air. DIO looked up, only looking at the back of each card, his mouth unconsciously gaping open at the unnecessary display of power and the mastery of card shuffling. The Child looked at each of the floating cards, picking out 6 individual cards tossing the gently in front of DIO.

DIO looked down on each card, they weren't any playing cards that he was familiar with.

"Master of the World, DIO Brando…" The Child explained pointing his foot at a card with a photo of Atlas, holding up the globe.
"Serial Killer and Hand Fetishist Extraordinaire, Yoshikage Kira…" He pointed to a Card with a Hand on it.
"Man Child with Schizophrenia, Vinegar Doppio…" He pointed to a card with a Heart being pierced by an arrow Illustrated on it.
"A Mafia Boss with an identity crisis, Diavolo…" he points to a card with a bearded devil carrying a pitchfork.
"The Holiest Sinner in the World and an old friend of yours… Enrico Pucci…" He pointed to a card with a skeleton carrying a massive Scythe.
"Finally, the President of the USA in another reality, Funny Valentine…" He pointed to a card with a Soldier in front of a door.

"What… What do any of this mean." DIO asked, as he stood u, towering over the short Child, but the Child seemed to stride as if he was the superior in the room.

"Now, now. Questions come after the performance." And with the snap of his fingers, everything turned black.

A light flicked on showing 6 people sitting unconscious on a red couch. Each of them woken up, one by one by a piano playing a rendition of Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King." Each of them looking at each other in confusion, they all turn to the piano, seeing The Child playing it with his eyes closed. He sighed as he opened his eyes slowly.

"Let me give you all a history lesson. Or rather a Future Lesson for those who existed before the 1900s. In 1918, the United States' 101st Airborne Division was created, and in 1921, it was given the Special Designation of the 'Screaming Eagles.' This Division was always behind enemy lines, seeking and destroying, always surrounded. On 16 December 1944, the Screaming Eagles fought one of its most important Battles in their history, as they were surrounded in the Ardennes Forest, they were stuck near the town of Bastogne. But even in insurmountable odds they were able to claw out of the Siege on the 25th of January." He kept playing effortlessly as he monologues.

The Child looked up at all the confused faces blankly staring back at him.

"Fellas, all of you have been specially selected to be part of something greater than yourselves, to do something opposite of what you were fated to do…"

"Who the fuck are you? Where am I? Who the hell are all these people? And WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING ON ABOUT?" A blonde Japanese man yelled, wearing a purple suit.

"Ah Yoshikage Kira! I can answer a few of your grievances." The Child pointed at himself. "So sorry for introducing myself sooner, I just love it when a group of people learn about my identity at the same time. I am… The Devil. Satan, Lucifer, Old Scratch…" He paused to chuckle to himself. "I actually like that one."

"You're kidding…" A tall, muscular man with purple leopard hair said. "I am DIAVOLO!"

"Pfft… And? Youre not me, you're named after ME pal." The Devil/Satan/Lucifer (let's just call him "The Child,") said, not the least bit intimidated by the Mafioso. "Now why don't you take a seat poser; I'm not done answering Kira's questions."

Diavolo turned, looking down on a small, freckled boy, with similar pink hair and wearing a partially torn purple sweater. Diavolo dropped his jaw, pointing a finger at him.

"What is- how is Doppio even here? He is me!" Diavolo asked.

"Uh… 2 separate personas, 2 separate realities, now 2 separate people." The Child explained.

Diavolo just blinked before sitting back down, Doppio only eyed Diavolo before looking back to the Child. The Child stood up, but the Piano continued playing automatically, never skipping a beat when The Child did rise.

"Second question. Welcome to Hell! Yes, since I am the Devil, it's kind of a given. You have all been chosen because you are the most despicable sons of bitch's Reality has ever seen. Yes, even you Doppio…" The Child explained to the young Purple Hair boy who just frowns and looks down. "Youre all destined to die and be sent down here, no matter how close to Heaven you get… But some aren't as lucky as others. Oh, and you all have 2 more things you have in common."

The Child's hands began to glow and a holoprojection appeared showing 7 individuals.

"You were all slain by The Joestars or one of their friends. And finally, youre all stand users." He explained, putting his hand down and causing the holoprojection to vanish.

"Okay…" A black priest, Enrico Pucci, started to say. "But that doesn't answer why we are here…"

"Ah yes. Well, since you're destined to die horrible deaths for your atrocities… I am offering you only 1 way to escape those destinies of darkness. Like I said, 'be part of something greater than yourselves, to do something opposite of what you were fated to do'" The Child explained.

Everyone quirked an eyebrow, before looking at each other. Some were thinking to themselves "Who were these Joestars," others thinking "Are the Joestars really going to be the end of me?" but all of them, and I mean all of them were thinking about one thing simultaneously. "What fates that we are being led to are so excruciating that the Devil himself is offering us a second chance?" They all nodded to one another.

"Okay, Mr. Devil. We'll take up your offer…" Funny Valentine spoke for everyone around him.

"WUNDERBAR!" The Child said static. "Oh wait…" His tone became very serious very fast. "There is a catch."

"Oh shit… There's always a catch… What is it?" Kira asked.

"You're working for me…" The Child deadpanned. "Being my subordinate is much better than your planned fate."

Almost all of them groaned at the idea of being second place to The Child.

"Oh, for goodness's sake… What do you have planned for us Satan?" Pucci asked, a sour taste began to manifest into his mouth.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, you are all looking at me like I am some simpleton crime boss, asking is friends to do hits. No, no, no, no… I need your help with something… BIGGER." The Child looked at all the Stand users before him. "Despite being an Incarnation of Evil, I am not a fan of Chaos. Everything happens for a reason, but if something decides to go off the rails, it is my job to correct it. And now that the Chaos Events, as I call it, are starting to involve Stand users… I'm going to need your help too…"

"You were able to defeat me effortlessly… Why do you need our help?" DIO said, causing Pucci to glace concerningly at him.

"Hell nullifies extraordinary interference, aka Stands." The Child said. "Believe me DIO, had the same interactions with everyone else here. Except Doppio. They all summon their stands, only to realize they can't summon them, try to attack me only to get bodied and humiliated. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. Except Doppio of course."

The small boy smiled.

"I need you to kill these Stand users, to correct Reality… But during these missions, I cannot guarantee your safety." The Child said.

A silence filled the air. Contemplation began. They are all only accepting the offer because they want to avoid their predestined fate, now there is a possibility for them to have a much worse death if they are not careful; they are figuratively stuck between a rock and a hard place. They shot glances at each other. They all turned back to The Child and nodded. "We Understand." The Child sighed before standing up, pulling out 2 things. A Requiem Arrow and A Stone Mask.

Diavolo and DIO both shot their eyes wide open. The Child pointed towards Funny Valentine and motioned him to stand up and walk forward, which he did. Suddenly The Child stabbed Blonde President in the chest with said arrow, causing blood to fly everywhere. Funny Valentine was writhing in pain but could not muster the strength to scream or collapse, instead he watched as the arrow gained sentience and began to cut deeper into him, suddenly a shriveled up brown heart plopped out of his chest and onto the floor with a thud. The Heart of Jesus Christ.

"The Saint's Heart, I need it! It gives me D4C!" Funny Valentine said in a shaky voice, as he watches The Child pick up the heart.

"Not anymore… The Arrow I just pierced you with gave you Dirty Deed Done Dirt Cheap permanently. Also… Another ability." The Child said as he put the Heart on a table behind him.

"Another ability?" Funny Valentine's eyes seem to pop out of his sockets.

"An upgrade actually… You went from Interdimensional Travel to Inter-Reality Travel. You are now responsible for teleporting everyone to and from missions. Oh, and another thing… Don't attempt to run from me. I will find you. And I'll make you relive your Fate forever. Do you understand boy?" The Child said with authority to outmatch those in the very same room as him.

Funny Valentine was already sweating bullets like a pig in the summer, he gulped and nodded, fully comprehending the weight of those words. DIO was then summoned in front of The Child. DIO looked at the Stone Mask in the hands of The Child with great conviction, a great nostalgic feeling, remembering how he first put the Stone Mask on during his war against his adopted brother. He was crowned with the mask, and using his own bite force, The Child drew blood from his thumb writing "6" onto it. Suddenly the Mask opened up with stone appendages digging into the top of DIO's head. After a few seconds, the Stone mask cracked and fell onto the floor, broken.

"What was that?" DIO asked.

"Congratulations DIO… You are now resistant to the Sun light… That's it."

DIO sat back down in silence. Half Overjoyed that he is now truly immortal, but also partially disappointed, thinking the mask will give him much more than just Sunlight resistance. Whatever, now he is officially the most powerful one out of all of them, and that is good enough for him.

"Okay gentlemen… It's time for your first mission. 3 Stand users must be eliminated, they're as vile as all of you. I'm counting on you; further information will be on this pager. Yo, Doppio catch!" The Child throws a same metallic pager at the small Purple Haired boy, who caught it with ease. "That pager will tell you your exact location, when and what universe you are in. And that's pretty much it. Now everyone stands in a circle… Please…"

Everyone hesitantly stood up into a circle. Funny Valentine glanced back at The Child, wondering what he needed to do.

"Your new D4C can make Void-like Portals using his punches. Those voids can send you to the universe specifically chosen by me… The rest, is up to you."

Unlike everyone else in Hell, Funny Valentine was able to summon Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. The Blue Bunny stand looked very similar to its normal form, except for the odd turbine like knuckles he now possesses. D4C punches the center of the circle made by the villains. Suddenly the dust from the floor began to rise and form into a ball, violently spinning into itself, gaining mass despite its relatively small size and causing the floor to cave in a bit.

All the villains were hesitant tp jump into what seemed to be nothing but a spherical air tornado, especially DIO, this reminded him too much of his loyal subordinate's (Vanilla Ice) Stand (Cream.) He didn't want to be vaporized and sent to who knows here… (The Shadowrealm? Shit. Maybe.)

"Surely you don't expect to just leisurely jump into this portal." DIO said, glancing back and forth looking for The Child.

"Of course I do." The Child was behind DIO, and with a light shove DIO unintentionally entered the portal. "And don't call me Shirley."

In his confusion and shock DIO reached out for Pucci and he entered the portal. However, his skin began to spaghettify as it made contact with the portal, and his eyes became multiple strands of an eye within a second, causing his vision to distort. Because of all of this, DIO didn't grab Pucci, but instead he grabbed the shirt of Doppio, who also gets dragged in an spaghettified.

"BOSS!" Doppio cried out reaching for Diavolo.

Diavolo didn't cause much about the Doppio that is separate form his own body, but maybe it was the 33 years of being a single being he instinctively reached out, but the tips of his finger touched the portal, dragging him in as well.

"LORD DIO!" Pucci screamed as he willingly jumped in after his Master.

Funny Valentine couldn't jump into the portal until all of the Villain did first, leaving Yoshikage Kira as the last person to jump in. He looked at the portal, sweat dripping down the side of his face like bullets.

"All I wanted was a quiet life. This is insane…" He said to himself.

He inhaled sharply before holding his breath and closing his eyes, then he decided to step into the portal, getting spaghettified and teleporting away. Funny Valentine jumps in immediately after, leaving The Child alone as the portal closes.

Funny Valentine exits the portal, despaghettifying into his normal self. He looked around, he seemed to be in the chick of a forest. He saw the group of villains standing over yonder, peering over a bush. He walked up to him pushing Diavolo and Kira away to see what they were looking at. It looked like a massive city, with buildings that varied in height, but there were some buildings that were so monumentally tall that Funny Valentine didn't think it was even possible for buildings of that height to even exist. But the other villains were shocked for a different reason. A large red flag draped on a side of each skyscraper. The red flag had a white ellipse in the center, and in the center of that ellipse there was a very peculiar cross.

"Are those…" Pucci trailed off.

"Swastikas…" Doppio finished the Black Priest's sentence.

"What the heck are Swastikas?" Funny Valentine asked.

Everyone ignored the President's question, instead they all turned to the Pink Haired boy holding the pager.

"Doppio, was it?" Kira asked. "Where and when are we…"

"Oh, let's see here, uh…" Doppio read the pager, face slowly turning from confusion to fear and disgust. "New Prussia…"

"New Prussia is not a city I have heard of… What year?" Pucci asked Doppio.

"1992… New Prussia was renamed in 1946… Its old name was… New York City…"
