Transformers Prime: The Final War.
Chapter 70: Plus One.
(Author's notes: There's not really much to say except enjoy chapter 70: Plus One.)
In the Autobot base, Stakebeak advises, "Incoming Ground Bridge request from Scotland."
The Ground Bridge opens outside of the base and the two Wrecker ships emerge and touch down.
The Wreckers plus Ravenimus Prime emerge from the ships and they enter the base.
Ratchet notices and asks, "Did all of you secure the Predacon bone?"
Ravenimus brandishes the optic and answers, "More or less we uncovered a Predacon optic."
Corvowing remarks, "Excellent work, sis."
Agent Fowler advises, "I just got wind of another Predacon hot spot, just outside of Taos, New Mexico. Since Prime's unit isn't back from oil country..."
Corvowing orders, "Raf, set a bridge for New Mexico. Arcee, Wheeljack, roll out."
Wheeljack replies, "Understood, Lieutenant."
Wheeljack and Arcee emerge from the Ground Bridge at the coordinates as Wheeljack states, "Just in case you haven't figured it out, I don't play well with others." The twosome stops, only to find themselves surrounded by ten Vehicon Jets.
Arcee curses, "Scrap!"
(The intro plays: The Predacon known as Predatitan screeches as he flies over a highway and spits a huge fireball at the highway. Out of the flames comes the entire Autobot army, with the new Vehicons, Shockwave, the new Autobots born in Autobot Outpost Omega 2, and the Autobot Predacon clones that were originally Decepticon Predacon clones in the original timeline coming out of the flames in vehicle/dragon mode. Optimus Prime is once again last. And as the camera pans around him, Optimus quickly transforms to his taller robot mode, and the view shows the entire Autobot army deploying their various robot mode weapons for battle. In Autobot Outpost Omega One, Bumblebee transforms to vehicle mode and drives through the Ground Bridge, followed by Stakebeak and his two clones known as Dreadstreaker and Swingslice. Bulkhead transforms to vehicle mode and he drives through the Ground Bridge, followed by Bombspeed and her two clones known as Crashout and Mazenter. And finally, Arcee transforms to vehicle mode and she drives through the Ground Bridge, followed by Jakestreet and his own two clones known as Jetace and Shortmark. In a Cybertronian battleground, Megatron fires his Fusion Cannon while Highstalker fires his own AstroMag Cannon, Roughstuff fires all of his missiles, and Devastator, Menasor, Bruticus, Preyerking, Abominus, Monstructor, Constructicon Maximus, Bruticus Maximus, Dominus Trannis, Dinoking, Liokaiser, Piranacon, Tripredacus, Devastator Maximus, Predacus, Infernocus, Volcanicon, Battle Gaia, King Poseidon, God Neptune, Megatronia, Grand Galvatron, and Thunder Mayhem fire their guns. Predatitan screeches as he flies towards Optimus Prime and Corvowing Prime, spitting fireballs at them. But the two Autobot leaders are unaffected as Optimus activates his jetpack and Corvowing transforms to his own dragon mode and they fly towards the Predaking lookalike. They respectively punch Predatitan before the title card appears. It reads, Transformers Prime: The Final War: Beast Hunters. The last thing the viewers hear is an unknown Predacon roaring.)
As the Vehicons aim their blasters, Wheeljack remarks, "You know what I love best about Vehicon Troopers?"
Arcee replies, "They're easily distracted."
Wheeljack launches Arcee in the air before shooting four Vehicon Jets.
Arcee lands and guns down three Vehicons.
Wheeljack shoots down one Vehicon Jet attempting to shoot Arcee, and he whirls around to gun down two more Vehicons.
Arcee rushes up to another Vehicon Jet and jump kicks him before jump kicking another Vehicon Jet.
Arcee ducks under a Vehicon trying to clobber her before giving him a roundhouse kick.
Arcee roundhouses another Vehicon Jet.
Wheeljack clobbers a Vehicon Jet with both fists before knocking another down with one punch. Wheeljack then counters a punch from another Vehicon Jet with a punch of his own, and he proceeds to knock out three more Vehicons with punches.
Wheeljack and Arcee stand among the wrecks of the ten Vehicon Jets.
Wheeljack asks, "You sure you weren't a Wrecker, Arcee?"
Arcee retorts, "You sure you don't play well with others?"
Meanwhile, back at the Autobot base, Venus arrives and Agent Fowler can't stop from staring.
Noticing Venus driving to the entrance used by Autobots, Agent Fowler straightens his tie and clears his throat before walking into the command center.
In the command center, Jakestreet is helping hammer Predaking's new sword.
Venus remarks, "Nice forging, Tex."
Jakestreet replies, "Hey, Mom, what's up?"
Agent Fowler quizzes, "Venus. What brings you here?"
Venus answers, "Those medical supplies you so graciously offered to donate, that Jakestreet keeps forgetting to bring home. The hospital appreciates your generosity, Agent Fowler."
The liaison replies, "Please, call me William."
Jakestreet notices and he remembers what Corvowing said: his mother and Agent Fowler are looking for new love due to Jack's father having left for reasons unknown to everyone and Agent Fowler's divorced.
And as much as Jakestreet would vocally disapprove, he knew better than to interfere if Agent Fowler keeps June happy.
Rafael then calls out, "Guys, I found a Predacon talon. It's in the same museum where we found the Energon Harvester. Scientists were totally stumped when this Predacon talon was excavated in 1922, so it's been in storage."
Corvowing volunteers, "I'll go. I have the perfect plan in mind."
Corvowing is bridged to the museum, where he uses his control over technology to turn off the cameras and alarms while simultaneously making himself invisible long enough to duplicate the Predacon talon and leave the Predacon talon for Knife Out to find.
On the Nemesis, Megatron remarks while affectionately stroking Predatitan's head, "Ahh, you performed admirably, my pet. This will be a splendid contribution to the spawning of your Predacon brethren."
Knife Out comes up and says, "Lord Megatron, we've located another one of Shockwave's former Predacon energy signatures. It's faint, but steady."
Megatron replies, "Excellent. Knife Out, do not fail me by returning empty-handed."
Knife Out replies back, "Who, me?"
Knife Out goes off to get bridged over to the coordinates.
Meanwhile, Arcee and Wheeljack are walking in a giant cave in search of the Predacon bone, which Corvowing gratefully told them was a Predacon skeletal spinal cord.
Arcee remarks, "You're awfully quiet, Wheeljack."
Wheeljack replies, "I'm not the type to engage in chitchat."
Arcee asks, "Regardless, would you care to chitchat about what happened in Scotland?"
Wheeljack considers it for a moment before reluctantly nodding.
Meanwhile, Corvowing produces the actual Predacon talon to Ratchet and remarks, "As Agent Fowler would call it, it was a milk run."
Venus remarks, "With one cranky cow."
Corvowing replies, "Yeah, the curator acted like he was guarding the Mona Lisa painting instead of some prehistoric lug nut that has been gathering dust since Warren Harding was President of the United States."
Venus remarks, "I have to say, Corvowing, you handled this one well."
Corvowing replies, "Venus, I would say that puts you one step ahead of Agent Fowler's ex-wife."
Venus asks, "Hmm. He's divorced, huh?"
Agent Fowler replies for Corvowing, "Yeah, I'm divorced. What about you, June? What's the story with Mr. Darby?"
Venus replies, "Well, it's more like a saga, one I'm sure you've heard before."
Meanwhile, Arcee and Wheeljack are drilling for the Predacon spine as Wheeljack states, "Guys like Magnus and Ravenimus, I don't let them peel my paint; I peel theirs."
Arcee replies, "So, if it isn't the new commander who's grinding your gears, it's Bulkhead."
Wheeljack replies back, "Hhhaaa. It just burns me up when a Wrecker goes soft."
Arcee replies back again, "Wheeljack, listen, even if it weren't for Corvowing reviving many of our fallen comrades, you'll always remember the Wreckers as you knew them, in your spark. Times change, players come and go, and if you can't adapt, you'll rust, like the bones we're digging for. Don't push Bulkhead away. If something happened to him, you'd never forgive yourself."
Wheeljack stops and Arcee begins to share her story of how she lost Hubfight to Airsized, how she lost Snapgrin to Roughstuff, and how she came close to losing Cliffjumper to Roughstuff as well if it wasn't for Corvowing.
Meanwhile, on the Nemesis, Knife Out presents the replica to Megatron, unaware of the replica's true nature, but it was still real enough to actually clone and engender a Predacon.
Megatron remarks, "Knife Out, you have performed well today."
Roughstuff scowls from his room.
Meanwhile, Wheeljack states while dragging the Predacon spine, "Okay, I'll admit. Thinking about running from Bulkhead before he could defend me, shutting down like that, was pretty spineless of me."
Arcee retorts jokingly, "On the bright side, you have plenty of backbone now."
Meanwhile, outside the Nemesis, Predaking telepathically says to Predatitan, "Predatitan, use the warship's databanks to learn about Predacons."
Growling in reply, Predatitan accesses the warship's databanks and learns everything he can about Predacons.
The End.
(Author's notes: In the next chapter, the events of the Thirst episode will still happen. But as for the circumstances of how Knife Out got the incompleted Synthetic Energon formula, well, that'll be explored in the Thirst chapter.
See you all in chapter 71: Thirst.)
