I do not own Henry Danger or any of it's characters. Part 2 YAYYYY!!!

"I'm Captain Man and I'm in charge around here! I am going first!" Ray yelled at Jasper as he chased him around the room, trying to grab the device out of his hand.

"Let's just go in the same order we went in before, to keep things fair." Schwoz suggested. The fussy boys nodded in reluctant agreement. They gathered around with a couple bowls of popcorn.

"To safely exit the dream, you must say the word "out". Remember, the device will not come off if you don't. Oh and these dreams will feel much more real with possible physical side effects, but don't worry."

"That's reassuring." Charlotte sarcastically replied.

Schwoz's dream planted him in the man cave. The screen displayed him sweating and working quickly to fix an unfamiliar device that counted down the seconds of his demise. It was an invention of his that went haywire and it blew up the city. They all laughed and booed Schwoz while playfully throwing the popcorn at him as he exited the dream state. He laughed as well and jokingly bowed to his audience. Jasper happily retrieved and put on the Fantaseeker. Complete darkness morphed into familiar surroundings. Once again, the man cave was the setting. This was where their lives took place, after all. He stood next to the auto snacker and held his breath in anticipation.

All of the sudden the ground below his feet felt shaky. The room began to rumble and before he knew it he could not keep his balance. It was an earthquake, unlike any other. Everything in the man cave was rocked by the unforgiving Earth. It didn't feel like a dream anymore, he felt his instincts scream at him from all directions. Before he made a move the ground below him crumbled, shattering like fragile glass.

He fell through the floor and continued to fall through every level of every man cave. Finally, he hit the bottom. He lay face down on the concrete, with rocks and rubble on top of his broken back.

"Out," he croaked out with a cough. As he peeled off the device he rubbed above his eyebrow where a fictional wound had left him sore. He stumbled off of the platform and onto the couch as Ray patted him on the back in a way that told him he did good. He returned to normal, looking completely unaffected. They stared in disbelief.

"Okayyy," Henry blurted, bringing the wide eyed friends out of their trance with a jolt.

Ray put on the gear and found himself stuck in one of the tubes, surrounded by snakes and celery.

"OUT OUT OUT!!!" Ray screamed the code word and ripped off the head gear.

Henry turned to a confused Charlotte, explaining "Ray hates celery.". Annoyed by their laughter, Ray yelled at them to shut up.

"Your turn kid." he said slapping the device to Henry's chest. Henry grabbed it and took a deep breath as he made his way to the designated seat. The pitch black fantasy twisted and turned around him revealing the expected setting. The room looked the same in his dream as the others, except for the silence that was so foreign to the chaotic cave. He felt a tickle in his ear. He went to scratch it when he found an earpiece. He looked at the computer in front of him. It showed a tracker that moved along a digital map of Swellview that was labeled "Life Signs".

From the back room, the three other boys came running out in a panic.

"Hey fellas," Henry said still focused on the screen. They ignored Henry with a mission in their eyes. Jasper handed Ray weapons that Ray shoved into a duffle bag. Schwoz worked on something in the corner with an extremely distressed face that said they were running out of time.

"We need those coordinates Schwoz! We should have been there by now!" Ray shouted with angry fear in his voice.

Henry looked at the blip on the screen. His heart dropped when he realized who was missing. He would have used the code word right then and there if he'd remembered this wasn't an illusion. The power of the fantasy was so real, you could not compare it to a nightmare. He locked onto the blip as he watched it move.

"What's goin on guys?" Henry begged.

"Charlotte's the bait and we're supposed to be the trap that gets this guy, remember? But she's in the wrong place and we just cut our time in half! We-" Charlotte's voice cut him off. They all stood paralyzed as they waited for the static to clear and to hear her voice.

"Guys..I...where I am, I...". The broken up message tortured Henry. More static left him praying for a sound of any kind. Ray turned away roughly as he rubbed his face in angst. After a while of what they thought was the end of their communication, they prepared to leave in search of her. Just as they began running out, her voice came in once again.

"Please guys...eed help...right behind me!". They tried to move but seemed paralyzed. She loudly gasped and after a heart wrenching scream came radio silence. Her blip on the screen went from weak to non-existent.

"Out." Henry said immediately, almost silently for his lack of breath. His serious face turned to relief when he was able to see the real Charlotte.

"I couldn't get to you." he muffled through the rough hands on his face. He rubbed his eyes and let out a sigh.

"Sheesh, that thing really works."

"Well of course it does, I created it." Schwoz stated as he tinkered on a keyboard. Charlotte's arms crossed with one hand cupping her face. She had a head full of busy thoughts. Her eyes were unfocused, giving a far off look.

"Alrighty, who's next?" questioned Jasper.

"Hold on," Schwoz intercepted. "I gotta tweak this a little, it'll be a few minutes."

"Lunch it is," Henry said, coming back down to Earth a little more. He nudged Charlotte with his shoulder as he passed her and naturally grabbed her hand, pulling her behind him. They ate a good lunch and had some great laughs, making fun of each other of course.

"Ok," Schwoz said wiping his forehead,

"Whoever's next can go."

"Charlotte!"

"Come on Charrr!!!

"Charlooootttee!" they all teased. She looked around at the goofy faces that prompted her.

"I don't really wanna go guys."

"Oh come on Char, we all did it! Rules are rules." Henry joked. She rolled her eyes and dragged her feet as she made her way to the machine. The silly boys roared with excitement, cheering on their friend.

Charlotte looked around trying to analyze her location, only to find it was just where all their dreams has taken place. Henry happily bumped ray with his elbow as if to say he was glad that this was her world like it was for them. Sometimes they weren't sure of her feelings and how important their team was to her. Her shy silence was often misconstrued as disinterest. She looked up to the four fictitious boys that stood in front of her.

Her hands were anxious fists and her eyes emoted pure fear. They rustled around with bags like they were packing.

"Well Char, this is it. Good luck and everything I guess." spoke an oddly cold Henry.

"Wait where are you going?" she prayed.

"The man cave is about to flood Charlotte, where have you been? Anyways, we're leaving this small town and going somewhere with real crime. See ya."

"Wait!" she cried.

"Ugghhh!" Ray groaned.

"Ok Charlotte, fine. We're not taking you with us because... well.. we don't really need you. I mean at first, we kinda did I guess, but this is serious now and I need a serious crew." Ray may as well have stabbed Charlotte in the gut. She felt as if the wind had been knocked out of her as she felt her eyes well up.

"I don't understand! Henry?" she sputtered out as she grabbed Henry's wrist. He reluctantly turned around with eyes that avoided hers lovelessly.

"It's not gonna happen for us Char, it never was. I know you wonder to yourself if you feel love for me but you don't. Your just a dumb kid and I've gotta go. Goodbye."

He walked away without ever making eye contact with the shattered heart standing still behind him. She felt her hand seek comfort on her chest as she felt her breath quicken beneath it.

The guys did not like what they had seen. They stood helplessly wishing they could end the nightmare for her. Charlotte choked on threatening tears watching her boys leave her for the elevator. Just as it dinged close, water began leaking in from all directions. The leaks turned to spouts and spouts soon turned to full on waves. Charlotte could not swim and she definitely never planned on trying.

"Out!" she screamed. No response.

"OUT!" Now she could not stop the tears that raced down her cheeks.

"Get her out Schwoz!!!" Henry worriedly yelled. His nightmare was becoming a reality. Schwoz frantically diagnosed the issue.

"I must have done something wrong..." he mumbled.

Charlotte was waist deep now and couldn't hold her stance. The boys were glued to the screen as they watched as Charlotte desperately tried to balance herself. She was balling her eyes out, she couldn't have stopped if she tried.

"PLEASE!!! HELP ME!" Her anguished cry was unbearable. Ray punched Schwoz in the arm since there was nothing else he could do.

Schwoz continued to work without time to react. His grease stained face sweated with stress. Charlotte's dream taunted her as the water crashed around her, the level rose to her chin. She choked on the water, crying through the coughs. The real Charlotte sat still with a few tears on her own cheeks. That was the last straw for the guys, this was getting too real. She splashed hopelessly as the water went over her head. The technology in the room clashed with the water, sending lethal shocks into Charlotte. Her panic was overwhelming. She sucked in the water involuntarily as the electrocution terrorized her weightless body.

The real Henry gripped the table with white knuckles. After a few minutes of watching her suffer, her body floated motionlessly.

"Schwoz, if you don't get her out right now, I swear, I'm gonna-"

"She's out." interrupted Schwoz. They all shot their eyes toward Charlotte in dreadful anticipation. She opened her eyes and took a deep, agonizing breath.

She stood automatically, not recognizing her residual weakness. She took a step and slightly stumbled into Henry's prepared arms. He looked at her very concerned as she stood and stabled herself.

"Sorry Hen, I'm alright." She wiped her face and calmly took a seat on the couch.

"What happened in there? I said the code word and...nothing. I don't think I've ever experienced anything worse..." she expressed, with a hand over her eyes trying not to cry again. She fidgeted with her hands, still very rattled.

"I'm so sorry Charlotte, I goofed up the communication and without that the system couldn't be triggered to bring you out. I'm really sorry."

"It's ok really." she assured him, putting a sweet hand on his. Her squeaky voice was hoarse. Henry walked over to her and slowly knelt down to look in her eyes. He studied her face as she tried not to make her tears known. His hand graced her face and told her that he was here for her.

"Hey Charlotte, I just wanted you to know that your a really valuable member of my team and we couldn't do this without you. No particular reason, just a thought." Rays banter gave Charlotte a chuckle.

"Yeah," Jasper added, "Your our girl."

"I know, thanks guys." she smiled, looking at the sympathetic faces of her four boys. Henry took Charlotte's arm and threw her over his shoulder. Her giggles turned to real laughs as he walked her into the elevator, acting casual. The rest of the gang followed behind, smiling at the cute sight.

"Ice cream?" Schwoz posed. Their silent agreement left a happy feeling lingering in the man cave as the elevator doors closed and Charlotte's feelings now laid out in the open.
