Chapter 7

Mistoffelees was unsure once returning to the junkyard, knowing that the news of his pregnancy had been shared amongst all of the tribe by now.

Tugger had left their human den one day after Jenny had returned to the junkyard, daring to face the tribe before Mistoffelees.

"Everybody was very surprised, but really, should we expect anything else?" He had said once the tux asked what the general consensus was. "Also, very curious and happy for the two of us."

Some were curious enough to wish to visit the two, according to Alonzo and Munkustrap, who stopped by their human den at one point. But the two protectors kept the tribe at bay, telling the curious cats to give the couple some space, and that they would get to know more once the two returned to the junkyard.

Mistoffelees felt the weight on his shoulders lift ever so slightly when Alonzo mentioned how his closest friends had reacted to the news, happy to know that, despite confused and disbelieving at first, Tumblebrutus, Carbucketty and Admetus' first instinct was to ask the protector if the little magical cat was okay and if they could check on him.

It took a day or two for Mistoffelees to decide going back, still a bit uncomfortable knowing the attention he was going to get, but hoping it would diminish after a while; he had no problem receiving attention, he actually loved being in the spotlight, but only for certain reasons. He was reaching the end of his third week by now, and his belly wasn't as flat as it used to be, but the growing curve was still hard to see.

"Hey, stop that." Tugger said, grabbing Mistoffelees' paw before it could reach his ear for the second time during their walk back to the junkyard. "Don't worry, everything is going to be okay." He added with a smile, wrapping an arm around Mistoffelees' shoulder and pulling him closer.

Mistoffelees nuzzled into his mate's warm mane, until his ears picked the sound of footsteps getting closer as they entered the junkyard.

"Uncle Tugger! Uncle Misto!" The voices of both Jemima and Sillabub reached them before the kittens did and the toms almost fell back when the two young queens crashed into them. "We missed you!"

"Hey, you two!" Tugger and Mistoffelees chuckled, hugging the twins, and for a moment the tux forgot about his worries, until Sillabub pulled away and looked from his eyes to his stomach.

"Dad told us! Are you really pregnant?!" She asked, eyes shining with barely concealed curiosity.

Mistoffelees felt a bit uncomfortable, as he knew he would with other cats giving him similar questions, but he pushed that feeling aside.

"Yes, I am…" He barely finished the sentence when someone else spoke up.

"Mistoffelees…!" Munkustrap hurried to them, looking from the magical cat to his kittens, shooting them a soft, but still stern look. "Sorry, they were just too excited to see you again…"

"It's fine." Mistoffelees shook his head, patting Sillabub in between the ears so that she knew she had done nothing wrong.

"Are you okay?" Munkustrap asked and then finally turned to his brother. "Are both of you okay?"

"Of course, why wouldn't we be?" Tugger shrugged, wrapping an arm around Mistoffelees' shoulder and keeping him close, like he had done before. The tux chuckled, leaning against his mate. "I think everyone is waiting for us?"

"I told them not to bother you two too much." The Jellicle protector said. "After all, it's just another pregnancy in the junkyard, it's nothing to make much fuss about."

"Thank you, Munk." Mistoffelees nodded with a smile.

The group made their way deeper into the junkyard, through piles of junk and hidden dens, the tux being guided forward by the two young queens, each grabbing one of his arms. Mistoffelees could pretty much feel Jemima's eyes on him without needing to turn to her.

"You don't look pregnant…" The red kitten mentioned at some point, as if she had spent that whole time processing how to say it.

"It's still a bit too early." Mistoffelees pointed out and he noticed how Jemima's paw raised ever so slightly.

"Jemima, remember what Jelly told you." Munkustrap warned and Mistoffelees held back a chuckle at Jemima's bashful expression.

"Sorry." She said, ears lowering, and looked up at the tuxedo with shy eyes. "Can I touch your kitten bump, Misto?"

"There isn't much of an actual bump to feel yet, Jems, but, sure." Mistoffelees nodded, feeling the little paw touching his slightly curving abdomen. Sillabub asked permission to do the same and the tuxedo cat readily gave it to her.

It was still weird to have others touching him like that, but Mistoffelees was surprised to find himself less uncomfortable than he thought he would be.

"Can you feel them?" Sillabub asked.

"No, Jenny said they're still taking shape." The magical cat explained.

"So you don't know how many there are yet?" It was Jemima's turn to ask.

"Well, Jenny said it's probably going to be more than one."

"More cousins!" Jemima smiled at Sillabub who let out something similar to a squeal.

Mistoffelees shook his head with a chuckle, his sensitive ear twitching at the high-pitched noise. He had spent the last days at his human den thinking about the fact that he may have more than just one kitten; and he discovered he didn't feel as worried as he expected to. Now, listening to Sillabub and Jemima babble excitedly about having more cousins, Mistoffelees knew why.

He and Tugger were not going to raise those kittens alone.

Not too far into the junkyard, two queens were waiting for the group.

"Mistoffelees." Demeter smiled, walking over to the tuxedo cat who she shared a nuzzle with, before she pulled back, glaring at him and the other toms. "I can't believe you all kept this a secret from us!" She shook her head with fake anger, before taking Mistoffelees' paws on hers in a kind, welcoming gesture. "Congratulations! Both of you."

"Thank you…" Mistoffelees smiled at the golden queen.

"Well, only you to end up getting a tom pregnant." Bomba mentioned, nudging the larger tom.

"That's just how great I am, Bomba, and you know it~" Tugger winked, wrapping an arm around his mate.

"Please, don't make me regret this." Mistoffelees groaned and the group laughed.

"Come, this way." Demeter said to the tux. "We thought you would prefer to not get too much attention right away."

They continued walking in between the piles of old, rusty objects, rounding the junkyard's main open area and finding a faster way to Tugger and Mistoffelees' den. Still, Mistoffelees could hear the sound of running paws and words being spoken, and he saw a few curious heads poking out of well-hidden dens.

Once they reached the old cupboard, Tugger allowed Mistoffelees to enter first. Only for the magical cat to be welcomed by three tiny kittens.

"Unk- Mi-to!" Cayan and Petteling said in their broken kitten babble, smiling up at the tux. Miangellica let out a loud mewl and patted Mistoffelees' paw as it reached for her head.

"Hello, you three. I missed you." Mistoffelees chuckled.

"They all missed you too." Victoria smiled at her brother.. "And so did I." The two hugged and Mistoffelees sighed; he had missed his sister, being so used to seeing her everyday, since she had started to spend more time in the junkyard since her pregnancy. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine." Mistoffelees nodded, looking around the den. He took a deep breath. He had missed the place. It had already lost his and Tugger's scent, being exchanged for Plato and Victoria, and their kittens' smell. It was a bit weird, but not really unpleasant.

"We were taking care of the den for you two." Plato pointed out. "Just making sure the place is comfortable for when you two returned, you know?"

Mistoffelees noticed how none of them had moved the few trinkets and blankets around the den, but there was something different in the place, and the tux recognized the similarities between the cupboard and Plato's old chest. They had, somehow, made it more welcoming for the couple's future kittens.

"Thanks." Mistoffelees smiled at his sister's work, being distracted by one of Miangellica's paws on his leg. She signed to be picked up and the tux did so without even thinking twice, holding her on his hip; the white kitten giggled loudly, as she normally did, and nuzzled his headfur.

And Mistoffelees couldn't help but imagine how it would be like to hold one of his kittens like that, to hug and nuzzle them in a similar fashion. The thought made him both nervous and surprisingly excited.

"I'll tell Alonzo that you two have returned. Unless you want a moment by yourselves…" Munkustrap said, side-eyeing the other cats.

"I missed him and Cass…" Mistoffelees turned to his mate.

"Yeah, sure." The Maine Coon shrugged, smiling down at the tux.

"Oh, yeah, by the way, I want to talk to you Tugger." Munkustrap added, smiling at his brother. His eyes were soft, like when he spoke with Jemima and Sillabub.

"Ah, okay… Misto?"

Mistoffelees arched an eyebrow, confused with Tugger's tone and expression. The Maine Coon looked strangely worried, but he wasn't sure if it was because of what Munkustrap had to say or because he wanted to make sure Mistoffelees was okay with him leaving. Typical Tugger, he always knew the situations that could overwhelm the small tuxedo cat, and was always ready to do something to help him deal with it.

But, this time, Mistoffelees didn't feel like he needed the help.

"Go ahead." He said simply.

Tugger nodded, bending down to press his lips against Mistoffelees' before walking out.

"Take care of him while I'm gone, girls." He added to the other cats, who chuckled.

Mistoffelees rolled his eyes.

"How are you feeling?" Victoria asked as she followed her brother into the den.

"I'm good." Mistoffelees giggled while Miangellica played with his ear. "Just a bit nervous…"

"Whatever for?" Demeter spoke up, her eyes were soft, as if she already knew the answer to her question. "As soon as Jenny explained it, the others already started pointing out that you're a magical cat. And we should always expect something different from you."

For some reason, Mistoffelees felt his cheeks warm up considerably. He had always felt a bit like the weird one out of the tribe thanks to his magic. He knew the Jellicles loved him, but he couldn't help but always overthink things - one of his problems, as Tugger himself had pointed out many times before.

"Come on!" Victoria said, apparently noticing that her brother was losing himself in thoughts once more. She guided her brother to the blankets he used as bed, and smiled towards the other queens. "Sit! Let's talk about the wonderful world of pregnancy!"

Both Mistoffelees and Plato groaned at those words, making the queens chuckle.

In the meantime, Munkustrap pulled Tugger aside, wandering not too far from the cupboard.

"So what's up, Munk?" Tugger arched an eyebrow.

"How are you, Tugger? For real?" Munkustrap asked, his voice still soft and a smile on his face.

Tugger let out a huff of laughter.

"I'm good, I told you that already. I'm happy." He said with a shrug and a genuine smile.

"What about all your worries about being a father?" Munkustrap tilted his head. "Still mulling over it?"

"Well… Yeah…" Tugger nodded. "I still, you know… I'm not very sure if I'll do great, but… I got Misto with me. We're gonna work this out together." He chuckled. "And I'll be honest, I am kind of looking forward to it."

Munkustrap chuckled at Tugger's words in that gentle way he did since they were nothing but kittens. In his eye the recognizable glint of genuine pride for his little brother was shining.

"I'm happy to hear that, Tugger. You'll be a great father." He said, kind but straight forward, showing that nothing could change his mind. "I know that."

Tugger smiled back, suddenly feeling bashful with all the kindness and honesty in the tabby's voice.

"Thanks, Munks." He rested a paw on his brother's shoulder, while Munkustrap held onto his forearm lightly, giving him a kind, reassuring squeeze.

"They're back!"

The voice startled the brothers and they turned to watch a group of young toms rushing over to them.

"Hello, boys!" Tugger waved, chuckling at how the excitable bunch almost tripped all over themselves as they approached.

"Hey, Tugger!" Tumblebrutus was the first to speak up, as expected. "You're back! How is Misto? Did he come back with you?"

"He is good, he is in the cupboard." The Maine Coon said and quickly raised a paw to stop the cats from running towards his den. "Hey, hey, hey, calm down. Misto's still getting used to the fact that the whole junkyard knows about his pregnancy. Go easy on him."

"So he really is pregnant?" Pouncival asked.

"Of course! You thought we were lying?" Tugger arched an eyebrow. " You thought Jenny and Jelly were lying?"

The toms quickly shook their heads, knowing that it was never a good idea to doubt the words of the oldest queens of the tribe.

"Good." Tugger huffed, crossing his arms.

"If you want to go visit you can do so later, let Mistoffelees catch up with family first." The young toms moaned and the gray tabby shook his head. "But you still have the other side of the relationship here to talk to. Tugger, keep them occupied." He patted the Maine Coon on the back before directing himself to Alonzo and Cassandra's den.

"I can do that." Tugger chuckled.

"So you're going to be a dad now?" Tumblebrutus asked, crossing his arms in a similar fashion to how Tugger was doing.

"Pretty much."

"I can't imagine you being a dad…" George huffed.

"Our mom kept saying you would end up having kittens one day, so we were betting on when that was going to happen…" Young Bill pointed out with a smile.

"Oh, you've been betting on that?" Tugger smirked, trying his best to desguise how that made him actually feel. He had already heard Jelly say similar things before. "And who won?"

Carbucketty, Bill and Admetus raised their paws. Tugger's eyebrows shot up and he couldn't help but actually laugh, not expecting that.

Bombalurina poked her head out of the den, looking around before focusing her golden eyes on the large Maine Coon.

"What's with all the noise?" She asked, stepping outside and putting her paws on her hips. "Only you to be outside having a laugh with others while Mistoffelees is in there…"

"What? Is he okay…?" Tugger's ears perked up at those words, instantly forgetting the other cats.

But all Bombalurina did was laugh.

"Geez, it has been a while since you fell for my teasing, Tugs..." And she turned to the hole on the side of the cupboard. "What have you done to him, Mistoffelees?"

Mistoffelees poked his head out of the den. His face was slightly pinkish and he was thankful for the distraction from Demeter and Victoria's nonstop talk about pregnancy; it wasn't anything fully new for him, but at now all those things felt different since he was the one pregnant this time around.

"Oh, hello you all." Mistoffelees couldn't help but smile at his friends.

"Hey! Misto!"

Tumblebrutus was the first to approach, looking Mistoffelees up and down as if trying to find something different on him, before smiling and pulling the tuxedo cat in for a hug. Admetus, who was right behind, joined in on the hug, bumping into the two and almost throwing both to the ground. It was just as it had always had been, nothing had changed, and Mistoffelees enjoyed the knowledge of such.

"Hey!" Tugger called out, voice a mocking worried tone. "Careful with my mate! And my kittens!"

"Ah, sorry! Sorry, Misto!" Tumblebrutus and Admetus pulled away, ears lowered in worry.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." Mistoffelees quickly reassured the two, giving Tugger a glare and receiving nothing but a grin in return.

"So, you're a pregnant tom now...?" George asked, leaning over his brother's shoulder and examining the tux in a similar fashion to how he had done.

"Yes." Mistoffelees nodded, knowing that both Tumblebrutus and George were trying to find some type of physical hint of his pregnancy. It was a bit uncomfortable, just like back when he was trying to hide his slowly engorging nipples. "It's early, though."

The toms wowed at that and Mistoffelees couldn't help but chuckle nervously.

"And that's why Plato said you smelled like a pregnant queen that day, right?" Admetus smiled once the tux nodded. "But how did this happen?"

"Magic." Tugger said, waving his paw in the air.

"Told you!" Carbucketty said to Pouncival.

"Well, how else? Anyone would've guessed..." Pouncival shrugged, with a weird face.

"Mam-!" Cayan's call interrupted the cats and everyone turned to see the little ginger kitten asking to be lifted in Victoria's arms. "Ma-ma!"

"Hungry, Cayan?" The white queen giggled, pressing her nose against her son as he babbled, still not able to form full sentences. Pettelin joined in on his brother's, tapping his mother on the leg, probably asking the same. "I guess it's feeding time, then."

"Well, Misto, I think you're free of us now." Plato joked, holding little Miangellica's paw in his.

"Thank you for taking care of the den." Was all the tux could said.

"I'm pretty sure you'll share all we told you with Tugger later on, yes?" Victoria teased as they bumped heads. Mistoffelees gave her a glare and a huff of fake anger, receiving nothing but a smile back. She then shot the Maine Coon a worried side look. "I mean he is the father, Misto…"

"What is it?" Tugger asked, walking over to the monochromatic cats.

"Nothing. Ignore her." Mistoffelees rolled his eyes.

He was surprised to see Tugger reacting in such a way to what were clearly jokes and silly teasing; he had known for a long time that his mate could be very protective, but he wasn't expecting that. He both liked and disliked the sudden change. It meant Tugger was serious about all of that pregnancy situation, but, since Tugger was Tugger, Mistoffelees had a feeling that that could get a bit out of hand...

"Alright, you'll get what you want." Victoria's voice broke Mistoffelees' out of his thoughts and she smiled at Cayan. Mistoffelees watched as he had always done. "What? Do you want to try something else instead of milk today?" The ginger cat nodded, thought he seemed to be a bit confused, probably not fully knowing what they were talking about. "That's great! Let's go then!"

"We'll tell mom and Jelly that you guys are back." Plato mentioned as they said their goodbyes, taking the babbling kittens with him. Miangellica looked back and waved once more.

"Hey, Misto, everything okay?" Tugger asked, putting a paw on his mate's shoulder, startling the tux, who was staring at the little family as they walked away.

"Yeah." Mistoffelees said, smiling at the larger cat. "I just think it's amazing how she knows what they mean so easily…"

"It's a mother thing." Demeter said with a giggle. "Well, we'll leave you two alone as well. I'm pretty sure you'll have a few more visitors today, so we won't bother you anymore."

"Wait, mom! We wanna ask something!" Jemima spoke up and barely waited for an answer from the calico, quickly turning to her uncles. "Will you let us help you take care of the kittens?"

Mistoffelees couldn't help but chuckle at the young queen's excitement.

"Well, of course." He said.

"Yeah, Jems, I think you'll have to ask permission to Jenny, really." Tugger pointed out, and winked at Misto with a smile. "You wanna bet how much that she will want to be present on the kittens life at every single moment?"

"Just like she does with every kitten, hers or not." Demeter chuckled.

The queens said their own goodbyes after that, leaving only the toms behind.

"Come on in, boys." Mistoffelees said, even though his friends were practically inside the den already.

He walked over to the blankets with the group following after him, Tumblebrutus right at his side.

"Do you need help, mommy?" The patchy tom asked with a grin.

"Shut up." Mistoffelees threw back, rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, watch it." Tugger joined in, bumping against Tumblebrutus in a friendly manner. "I'm the one who's here to help him."

Mistoffelees let out an exaggeratedly loud sigh that soon morphed into a chuckle as the others laughed, settling on the blankets in a similar fashion to how the group did when younger.

"So! You two are going to have kittens!" Carbucketty smiled, bouncing in place.

"Well, yeah, that's what happens when someone gets pregnant, 'Bucketty." Admetus rolled his eyes.

"Okay, so it happened by magic, but how?"

Mistoffelees explained to the other cats how his magic had decided to get him pregnant. The group listened intently, clearly interested, or just very curious. He tried not touching on the more "intimate" details of the whole process, swatting at Tumblebrutus whenever the tom pointed those things out.

As he spoke, Mistoffelees couldn't help but be hyper aware of how his friends were reacting to his words. And he noticed the weird expression some of them were sporting, such as Bill Bailey, who asked at some point, after Mistoffelees had swatted Tugger at the back of the head for saying something embarrassing:

"So… Only you decided to have kittens…?"

"No, my magic decided." Mistoffelees explained, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the question. Bill's brows furrowed even more "It felt that I wanted it, so it decided to do the work. Without telling me, or Tugger, beforehand."

"So none of you were prepared?" Pouncival questioned next, in a similar tone to his younger brother. "I mean, mom always says that kittens are hard work, and we've seen all the things she and aunt Jenny have around to take care of them..."

"Nope." Tugger answered it this time, lounging beside Mistoffelees with his head resting on his arms. "Not prepared at all. But it's not like your magic has ever asked our opinion on these things, ay, Misto?"

Mistoffelees didn't know how to answer to that, only nodding ever so slightly and raising a paw to scratch at his ear. Bill Bailey was still looking at him weird...

"Are we interrupting something?" Alonzo's voice brought Mistoffelees out of his thoughts.

The toms quickly dispersed, allowing Alonzo and Cassandra the chance of being alone with Mistoffelees and Tugger. Alonzo was quick to check his brother up and down, wanting to make sure he was okay - and that Tugger was taking good care of him. Cassandra sweetly congratulated both once more, her smile as genuine as a smile could be; but different from any of the other queens she didn't ask to touch Mistoffelees barely existant bump.

Mistoffelees wanted to pull Cassandra aside and talk to her, but soon there were more loud noises coming from outside the den, the recognizable voice of certain cats joining excited scratching from small paws against the wooden walls, asking permission to enter.

The rest of the day was spent in a similar fashion, with cats coming and going from Tugger and Mistoffelees' den. Starting by Jennyanydots and Jellylorum, with Electra, Etcetera, Cheryl and even Noilly Prat (who didn't visit the junkyard that often, but had returned, curious about the news she received from her mother) following the two; Mistoffelees embarrassedely allowed Jenny and Jelly to check on him while the young queens gushed about kittens to him and to Tugger, who found himself with Electra and Etcetera holding on to his arms as they normally used to do. Mistoffelees did notice how Etcetera held onto Tugger in a more possessive way than before, and how she barely turned to him - probably too focused on the fact that she had Tugger back after a week and a few days.

Mistoffelees was a bit unsure about what Jellylorum could say while Tugger was there, the things she had mentioned about him still fresh in his mind, but the queen didn't touch on the subject even once, although her blue eyes did study both the Maine Coon and the tuxedo cat with intensity as her sister worked.

After Jenny and Jelly deemed that Mistoffelees and his developing belly as healthy, Coricopat and Tantomile appeared by the cupboard, with Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer in tow; Mistoffelees wasn't surprised to know that the Mystical twins had known of his pregnancy way before Jenny had told the tribe, since his aura had been changing slightly in the days before he and Tugger "exiled" themselves inside their human den. Mungojerrie was personally very interested in Mistoffelees' pregnancy, constantly repeating questions that soon forced Tugger to push the chaotic twins out with a roll of his eyes.

Other cats passed by, some apparently only to check and to know if the Gumbie Cat's news were true or not. Some congratulated the couple with joy, while others said so with the same strange expression Mistoffelees had seen on Pouncival and Bill's face.

Mistoffelees tried not to think about that, focusing on how loving and supportive the tribe was being. But really, should he expect anything else?

The little tux felt as if he was back at the stage during the last Jellicle Ball, showing the tribe the real extent of his powers, something he had hidden away for so long, pretending to be nothing but a weak Magical Cat who happened to be good making sparkles fly and objects appear and disappear. He was so afraid of how the Jellicles would react, if they would fear him like they feared Macavity or hate him, but no, they accepted him, and they still loved him and supported his magical abilities.

Now here he was again, being showered with their love and care.

Mistoffelees was more than thankful, he was, but that was all too much for just one day.

Everything started becoming a buzz at some point, and Mistoffelees could hardly focus on what the visiting cats were saying. He was broken out of his empty trance when Tugger's paw held his own, which was reaching to scratch behind his ear; the Maine Coon gave him a smile and a soft look, before turning to the other cats present, which happened to be Victor and Tabbygirl.

"Alright, that's enough visits for today." Tugger said, coaxing the cats away from the den's entrance. "We had a pretty long day, and my marvelous mate and our sweet kittens need their rest. Thank you. Tell the others the same if you meet them."

Mistoffelees blushed lightly and shook his head with a laugh, waving as the cats left.

"I knew you were probably going to be the 'protective, proud father' type..." He mentioned once the Maine Coon turned to him. "But really, we don't even have 'kittens' yet."

"Yeah, but they'll be 'kittens' soon enough." Tugger pointed out, dropping himself gracelessly on the blankets and stretching out greatly.

Mistoffelees shook his head with a tiny smile of fond exasperation. He looked away, trying to hold back the urge to scratch his ear once more. As always, Tugger noticed there was something bothering him, and a large golden paw rested on Mistoffelees' lower back, startling the tux.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah, just…" The magical cat sighed.

"Overwhelmed?" Tugger guessed.

"Yeah." Mistoffelees nodded, laying beside the bigger cat and resting his head on his shoulder.. "The last time I felt like that was… Well, the last Jellicle Ball."

"I imagine." Tugger smile, wrapping his arms around the tux, his fingers creating invisible patterns on the black and white fur as he remembered that night. "What a night that was, huh?"

"Hm-hm…" Mistoffelees nodded once more.

"You were amazing back there." The Maine Coon continued talking, nuzzling the fur in between his mate's white tipped ears. "My magical Mister Mistoffelees~" He added in a singing tone, making Mistoffelees giggle against his neck. "It has been so long since then…"

"Three, almost four full moons." The tux pointed out, playing with his mate's furry mane.

"Exactly!" Tugger chuckled. "So many things have happened since then… Vic and Plato's kittens…" His left paw, which was resting on Mistoffelees' waist, reached down, touching the growing belly. "Our own kittens…!"

"That's not a lot of things…" Mistoffelees commented.

"I say it is." Tugger huffed and Mistoffelees let out a soft giggle.

There was a moment of silence. The air of the den was light and comforting, while Tugger caressed Mistoffelees' belly and said magical cat played with his mate's studded collar. It was as if the old cupboard had had it's share of words and voices for the day, and it welcomed the silence. Mistoffelees focused on the way that Tugger was touching him, sweet as he had always done, but there was something new to his touch now. Everything was a bit different than it was before, he couldn't ignore that, but that didn't mean it was a bad thing.

"And my magic was accepted by the tribe in it's full existence…" Mistoffelees broke the silence at some point.

"Yeah… And they continue accepting it even now." Tugger added after Mistoffelees didn't continue speaking.

For a moment, some of the cat's weird expressions flashed before Mistoffelees' eyes, but he forced them away from his mind, focusing on the warmth that was spreading all over his body as he closed his eyes, getting snug in his mate's hold.

He didn't need to look to know that he was sparkling, judging by the way Tugger chuckled and played with his fur, one paw still resting over his growing stomach.
