Chapter 1

The Second Chance

Tony Vopelli was walking back to his apartment from a nearby tobacco outlet in Queens as the sun began to set. He was 21, 5'11, freshly disowned from his family, ex-upper class, cocaine addict, and overall a major fuckup.

A week ago, he was set for life. He had the trust of his powerful family, and he was a trustworthy marijuana supplier for a minor criminal organization in Manhattan. He had money, power, and connections. He remembered a couple of weeks ago, and he was wearing a dry-cleaned blazer every day.

Now he had nothing but three-day-old clothes, some cigarette cartons, a cracked phone, his keys and wallet, and a painful emotion that can only be felt by someone struggling with mental stress.

He lost everything two days ago because he took a gamble he shouldn't have. He planned a heist on his own family's marijuana stock with two friends and a couple of associates from the organization he worked occasionally but didn't fully trust.

His family ran a logging business but secretly had a marijuana empire that competed with some drug cartels in Mexico. With the influence of his father, he got into the business five years ago. As he got older, his ambition grew, and he began to realize that he knew the ins and outs of the company. Tony was the perfect person to plan an inside job to reap the benefits of his father's business.

The plan was simple, wait till dark and drive a van to the countryside. Break into one of his father's storage facilities. Then load up the van with 200lbs of marijuana. Finally, leave and pretend nothing went on that night to prevent suspicion.

However, things didn't go to plan because he forgot to account for his father's hired help staying in a house next to it to keep watch.

His father's hired help were ex-marines from the Afghanistan War who knew their stuff and didn't take likely to thieves.

When Tony's group was discovered, one of the organization's guys pulled out a Glock and killed a marine. That resulted in an unplanned shoot out which forced Tony's group to escape without their target. In the conflict, they ended up leaving behind one of the organization's guys. Everyone knew he would snitch out everyone to save his own life, so Tony knew he was fucked.

Once everyone got back to Queens, the associates from the organization dropped off Tony and his friends and left to report what happened that night.

Tony knew that he and his friends would be targeted for starting a war between his father and the organization. So he went to the local 1st Bank and drained his bank account. After that, he rented a small apartment for his friends to lay low at while they figured out what to do.

And now Tony was nearing his apartment on 34th Street. To his left was an Italian restaurant called Vite Vinosteria. He made a lot of memories there. It was the place where he made friends, the place where he secured deals, and the place where he got drunk.

Just past the restaurant on the third floor was his apartment. As he neared the front door, Tony took his keys from his pocket and unlocked the front door. Once inside, he started walking up the stairs to his apartment.

"Why doesn't this place have an elevator?" He thought to himself halfway up the first flight of stairs. Then his mind contradicted him and told him to stop being a little bitch.

Halfway up the second flight of stairs, he pulled out his phone from his pocket and texted his only true friends.

Tony V: Where the fuck are you guys?

(Seen by Doug M and Sean O)

"Well? Are you going to answer?" He thought as he reached the top of the stairs. The top was a single hallway with doors to apartments on either side.

As he walked to his apartment's entrance, his eyes glued to his phone. Suddenly, he stepped on something.

He looked away from his phone and said, "What's this?" before bending down and picking up the object.

As he stood up, he began to inspect it a little. It was a small book, and it looked old too. It had its cover faded, and the spine looked a little worn, but overall it was in good condition.

He decided to look at it more once he was inside and tucked the book in his armpit. He then took out his keys again and opened the door to his apartment.

It wasn't much, to be honest. The door opened to part of a small kitchen that extended to a living room. To the left was a bathroom and to the right was Tony's bedroom. That was it.

He closed the door behind him and made his way to the living room before sitting down on a couch with a sigh. Tony took the cartons of cigarettes from the plastic bag and the book before setting them on a coffee table in front of the sofa.

Just then, he got a notification on his phone. He unlocked it and saw it was a message from both Dougy and Sean.

Dougy M: I'll be there in 30 minutes

Sean O: Same

"Ok, I guess I'll be waiting for a while," he thought as he got up off the couch. He then checked the apartment to see if he had everything in order before he left.

The kitchen had unwashed dishes in the sink—empty cigarette packages on the counter next to it. There was an old bowl of various fruits that had fruit flies silently flying around it.

The bathroom had water residue on the mirror. The shower was stained a rusty brown from the water. The sink was also stained like the shower, and the faucet was dripping.

His bedroom had white paint peeling off the walls. The closet door was crooked and cracked. The blankets on his bed were unmade, and the carpet had stains from spilled drinks.

"This is fine." He murmured.

It was his last night here, and he honestly couldn't care about the state of the apartment. The manager would be pissed off at him, but yet again, he could care less.

He spotted his backpack he already packed earlier by the bedside. He then grabbed it and brought it into the living room. Once he sat down on the couch, he unzipped the bag and spread its contents on the coffee table to check if he had everything.

There was a complete set of clothes, a couple of chargers for his phone, a small Bluetooth speaker, and a small folding knife that was a gift from Sean. There was also a tiny butane lighter, a small glass pipe, an ounce of marijuana in a ziplock bag, a package of zigzags rolling papers, and an ounce of cocaine he bought earlier today. Finally, there was an unused Taurus Judge revolver that came with an entire box of .45 ammo.

"Should be enough for Florida," Tony whispered to himself as he started packing again. This time he grabbed one of the cartons of cigarettes he bought for himself and put it in the backpack as well before he zipped it up.

Satisfied he had everything packed and ready, he pulled out his phone and decided to wait for his friends. He was browsing Facebook for a couple of minutes, but his eyes started noticing that book he found outside. He tried ignoring it, but then he started wondering why he even brought it in.

He decided to put his phone in his pocket and picked up the book, and examined it. Like earlier, it was very worn, its spine was cracked, and he could barely make out the title on the cover.

"The Records of the Four Holy Weapons?"

Tony gave a bittersweet smile as he remembered when he was younger and read many fantasy novels. He placed a better time where he read series like The Ranger's Apprentice and Percy Jackson when he was 14 and didn't have to worry about whether or not he was going to get killed or get sent to Rikers Island.

Flip… Flip…*

"Interesting…" he murmured as he began to understand what kind of book he was reading.

It was the kind of book that starts by telling the reader about the fantasy world itself. To sum it up, it seemed to be about a different world, one with an apocalyptic prophecy to worry about. The prophecy said that many waves of great destruction would wash over the world until nothing was left. To stave off disaster and escape destruction, the people would call for heroes from another world to come and save them. Or something like that, anyway.

"Hmm…" The idea seemed pretty cliché now, but something about the book is that old felt, ironically, fresh.

He continued reading and read about how there were four heroes that each possessed a weapon. A sword, spear, bow, and shield.

Tony began to wince at the content. "I mean, when you think about it, a shield is not even a weapon at all," he thought to himself as he skimmed ahead.

The four of them went on a journey to train, gather strength, perfect themselves, and stop the prophesied destruction of the world.

He yawned suddenly. It was beginning to be too much for him. There weren't even any heroines in the story. The story then started talking about the heroes individually.

The Shield Hero was compassionate, didn't discriminate against anyone, and consistently pushed forward.

It honestly sounded like a stereotypical protagonist to Tony. Something that tried to relate to every reader and all. It didn't remind him of anyone in particular.

The Sword Hero was active, powerful, and passionate about his hobbies.

It somehow reminded Tony of Dougy. For one, Dougy was the kind of person who always was doing something to keep himself occupied. Not to mention that he was a literal giant. He remembered when he caught Dougy a month ago tinkering around with a knife accessory he was making for Sean that would be attached to his bicep.

Bow Hero would never tolerate injustice but was very prideful.

The more he read about the bow hero, the more he was reminded about Sean. Sean had a strange sense of justice, but he liked to balance any situation he got in. He rarely got indebted to someone, but when he did, he always paid them back. And if someone betrayed him, he always believed an eye for an eye.

He was about to turn the page and read up on the Spear Hero, but the Apartment Intercom buzzed.

"Yo Tony! Can you buzz me in?" Dougy's voice boomed through the tiny speaker by the entrance.

Tony looked up from the book and set it down on the table before rushing towards the door. He pressed the microphone button and spoke, "Hey Dougy, come on up."

Once he finished, he pressed another button to let Dougy in.

As Tony heard Dougy's heavy footsteps rushing up the stairs, he glanced at his phone to see if Sean ever responded.

Sean O: Same

(Seen 28 minutes ago)

He closed the app, a little irritated that Sean wouldn't update him on his location. After putting his phone in his pocket, he opened the door right when Dougy reached the top of the stairs.

Dougy Maki was 19 and a giant among men weighing an impressive 255 pounds with a height of 6'7. He was the kind of guy that got things done with his sheer intimidation alone. The type of guy who could wield a sledgehammer like a toy, or the kind who could get in a fight with a Heavyweight Boxer and walk away unscathed. He wasn't the brightest, but had a way with tools and mechanics.

In short, he was the muscle of the trio.

"Tony! How have you been? You doing ok?" Dougy's voice boomed as he walked through the doorway.

Tony smiled as he shut the door behind them. "I've been better, but overall I'm alright."

Dougy nodded in acknowledgment as he started walking to the living room.

As Dougy walked towards the couch, Tony added, "By the way, your cigarettes are on the table.

Dougy noticed the two cartons and grabbed a chair from the kitchen, and sat on it across the table and couch. He then grabbed a carton and put one in the backpack he brought with him. After that, he took out a package of cigarettes from his pocket before speaking again, "Thanks, I appreciate it. On a separate note, can I smoke in here?"

While Tony started walking towards the couch, he reached in his pocket, pulled out a lighter, and tossed it to Dougy. "I don't care. It's our last day staying here anyway. If the manager complains, I'll tell him to go fuck himself."

Dougy grabbed the lighter in mid-air and lit up a cigarette before chuckling, "Ha! Big facts, fuck that guy."

Dougy tossed the lighter back as Tony sat down on the couch.

"So whatcha been doing, Tony?" Asked Dougy as he ashed his cigarette on the floor.

Tony spread his arms while looking around the apartment. "I packed my stuff before we leave New York for Florida. And I just got back from buying you guys cigarettes."

Dougy nodded as Tony took out his pack of cigarettes and lit one.

Tony blew out a cloud of smoke after he set his cigarettes on the table and asked, "What about you? Did you pack your bag with everything you need?"

Dougy took off his bag and slapped it. "Yeah, I'm packed. I feel ready to leave this city."

They both sat in silence for a few moments while taking a couple of drags from their cigarettes.

Both Tony and Dougy were thinking about the same thing, but they didn't vocalize it. They were thinking about what Florida had for them. The truth was that Tony had one contact who offered a job in smuggling in the ports of Miami. It didn't seem much, but if Tony offered his services, Dougy, Sean, and himself would be under the protection of a drug cartel.

Dougy then broke the silence, "So when is Sean coming?"

Tony blew another cloud of smoke and looked at Dougy, confused. "What do you mean? Wasn't he with you?"

Dougy ashed again on the floor before responding, "Well, he was, but twenty minutes ago, he said he had to grab something important. I'm sure he will be here any minute. He's a man of his word."

Knock-Knock-Knock*

Right after Dougy finished speaking, a knocking sound came from the window. Both Tony and Dougy jumped in their seats when they heard it and immediately looked at the sound's source. Sure enough, they both saw a face wearing a shit-eating grin.

"Yo, guys! Can you let me in?" The person said outside the window.

"Yeah, right after I take a piss!" Exclaimed Dougy as he got up from his chair and walked in the direction of the bathroom with his cigarette in his hand.

Tony smirked at Dougy's joke and put his cigarette in his mouth before getting up off the couch. He then walked over to the window before opening it... As he opened it, he asked, "Sean, why can't you use the stairs like a normal person?"

Sean took off his backpack and threw it in first before crawling through. "The fuck you mean? I took the fire escape stairs outside!"

Sean O'Farrel was 18 and was certainly different from most people. He was small at 5'6 but was a total thrill seeker. He was fairly dramatic but liked to smirk a lot. He was the kind of guy who climbs buildings just for the vertigo rush. He also has a very particular set of skills that include lock picking, climbing, walking silently, and fitting into small places. All of which are used for Sean's criminal activities he partakes in.

In short, he was the Shadow of the trio that followed Tony and Dougy around.

"Whatever, how did you get on the fire escape stairs anyway?" Tony asked.

Sean stood up, stopped smiling, and tried to make the most serious expression he could muster before uttering, "Magic."

"Don't believe him, Tony! That fucker probably wall jumped himself to the stairs." Dougy yelled from the bathroom, clearly overhearing Sean's joke.

Sean smirked smugly after Dougy figured out what he did as he turned around to close the window behind him. While Sean was closing the window, Tony sat down on the couch and puffed on his cigarette. Sean then turned back around and noticed the last carton of cigarettes on the coffee table. He then looked at Tony dramatically with a hopeful expression.

"Bro… don't tell me you got them Marlboro Menthol 100s Blacks for little Sean here…."

Tony immediately burst out laughing. Before he could stop laughing and answer, Dougy interrupted him as he was leaving the bathroom. "Nah, them cigarettes be mine!"

Sean shot Dougy an irritated look. "Man, you don't even smoke menthols!"

Dougy chuckled a little as he sat back down on the chair he was sitting on before. "Ok, you got me there. Those got an awful taste."

"It requires a special taste, Doug." Said Sean as he reached for the last carton on the table and grabbed it before reaching for his backpack. He then unzipped it and put the carton in before zipping it back up and slinging it on one shoulder.

Sean suddenly got a grin on his face and stood in front of Tony. "Hey Tony, I want you to guess something."

Dougy sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose before quietly murmuring, "Not this again…."

Tony gave a confused look to Dougy. "What? What is he playing at?"

Dougy looked at Tony and said, "Sean wants you to guess how many knives he has on his body."

Tony gave Dougy a silent "oh…" and looked closely at Sean. Sean was wearing a set of black pants and a black leather jacket over what looks like a tank top. However, he didn't have any objects straining against his clothing near his ankles, sleeves, or chest.

"I don't know, four?" Guessed Tony.

Sean gave another smirk as he reached around his ankles and pulled out two automatic OTF (Out the Front) switchblades from his socks and set them on the table.

Then he reached into his sleeves and grabbed two throwing knives concealed inside before setting them on the table.

After that, he reached into his front pants pockets and pulled out an 8-inch stiletto switchblade and a 16-inch stiletto switchblade, and set them on the table as well.

Finally, he reached into his jacket and pulled out a butterfly knife, and also set it on the table with pride.

It's safe to mention that Sean had an unusual obsession with knives.

"Jesus fuck, Sean! Why do you get all the knives?" Tony questioned with a surprised look on his face.

Sean gave another smirk before saying, "Ehhh… just for fun."

Tony grew a smile as he thought of something to outdo Sean.

"Well, I guess I was wrong…." Tony started as he reached into his bag casually,

"But can your knives beat my Taurus Judge?" He said as he spun his revolver around his finger with a smug grin on his face, obviously showing off.

Sean's eyes went wide in awe. "Damn Tony! And I thought I was packing!"

Tony put the gun back in his backpack and slung it on his shoulder before saying, "Well, both have to be packing if we don't have the strength like fucking Hercules over there."

Dougy caught on and started flexing his biceps. "Well, I think it's fair to say I'm packing the biggest guns in the room."

Tony got an idea and gave him a mock confused look. "I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about the guy behind ya!"

Dougy's eyes went wide with surprise, and he suddenly looked behind him and only saw an empty kitchen.

Both Sean and Tony burst out laughing.

"Hahaha! I got you, dumbass!" Laughed Tony as he pointed at Dougy.

"Did you see the look on his face!" Cried Sean as he ended up sitting down next to Tony.

Dougy rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Ok, ok, you got me. Now can you guys stop already?"

Tony was still chuckling a little. "Alright, we will. But it's not our fault you missed Brain Day on your workout routine."

Sean burst out laughing again. "Fucking perfect, man!"

After a moment, Sean calmed down and took a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket. He then glanced at Tony to get his attention, "Yo Tony…

Tony looked over at Sean. "Yeah?"

Sean gestured with his cigarette as he asked, "Can I smoke in here?"

Tony nodded as he reached for his pack on the table.

"Yeah, sure, I don't care." Replied Tony as he also got out a cigarette.

Sean lit his cigarette first and tossed his lighter to Tony, who also lit his own as well. Then Sean began to put the knives back in their respective places on his person. Meanwhile, Tony started talking with Dougy.

"Hey Dougy, we're sorry. Ok? We didn't mean anything." Apologized Tony.

Dougy rolled his eyes and reluctantly smiled at the two. "Hey guys, it's alright."

Once Sean got done with his knives, he took a drag from his cigarette. "You guys know what? I'm going to miss this city."

Right after Sean finished speaking, all three of them glanced down at the floor and started to grow a little sentimental at the thought of leaving. This was the place they matured and had the best time of their lives. Most of their favorite memories were made in Queens. If they had it their way, they would stay forever and not have to worry about their safety every day.

"Yeah… same." Quietly spoken Dougy as Tony nodded slowly in agreement.

The three of them all sat in silence for a couple of moments, deep in thought.

Thoughts about the happy memories they had…

And thoughts about the negative ones too…

Thoughts about how much they would miss the exciting atmosphere they experienced…

Thoughts about reluctantly moving…

Thoughts about regret…

Tony suddenly got up and broke the silence, "Hey guys, anyone want a Hot Pocket? I think there are a couple left in the freezer."

Dougy and Sean both snapped out of their thoughts and looked up instantly. The pair hadn't eaten anything since breakfast and were quite hungry.

"Actually, I would love one, man. I'm starving!" Spoke up Dougy as Sean quickly added, "Me too!"

Tony nodded in acknowledgment as he put out his cigarette on the table. "Alright, I'll get right in it."

"After that, we should start leaving." Tony quietly thought to himself as he headed over to the kitchen. He made his way to the freezer and opened it, choosing which ones to pick for his friends.

"Philly Cheesesteak? Or the Pepperoni Pizza?" Tony asked as he picked up the last Pretzel Bread Hotpocket. Taking the best one for himself.

"Pepperoni Pizza." They both said at the same time in unison.

Tony nodded and opened a package of Pepperoni Pizza Hotpockets and put one in the microwave before setting the timer.

Once the microwave turned on, Tony took out his phone from his pocket and looked at the weather for tonight and tomorrow. Meanwhile, Dougy lit up another cigarette and pulled out his phone as Sean looked around the room. Sean's attention was caught when his eyes noticed a book on the coffee table.

"Hey Tony, what's this?" Questioned Sean as he picked up the book and started examining it curiously.

Tony looked up from his phone and noticed the book in Sean's hands. "Oh, that? That's just something I found on the way here. You can keep it if you want."

Sean nodded in acknowledgment and leaned back on the couch as he started flipping through the pages. He took one last puff of smoke off his cigarette before putting it out on the table's surface. His eyes raced as he started speed reading. "The Records of the Four Holy Weapons? Is this some kind of fantasy novel?"

"Yeah, it is." Confirmed Tony, "You still into that?"

Sean looked up and gave a slightly embarrassed smirk. "Well, I do enjoy a good story when I have the time."

Tony nodded as he looked at the timer on the microwave. "Well, I can respect that."

Dougy didn't bother looking up from his phone and ashed his cigarette on the floor.

Sean continued reading through the little book as the three of them waited for their Hot Pockets to finish cooking.

A few moments later, the microwave started beeping, and Tony took out a paper plate and prepared the Hot Pocket before walking to the living room. Sean looked like he was in a trance reading the book, so Tony gave the Hot Pocket to Dougy.

"Yo, thanks, Tony," Dougy said as he took the plate from Tony and threw the cigarette on the floor. He then picked up the Hot Pocket and started munching on it.

"Whoo! Fuck, that's hot!" Dougy suddenly exclaimed as he started spitting the food back on the plate.

Tony chuckled at Dougy's reaction before walking back to the kitchen. "Well, no shit! It's a Hot Pocket!"

Dougy gave him a sour look while Tony started putting Sean's Hot Pocket in the microwave.

Sean completely ignored what just happened and continued reading. Meanwhile, Dougy ended up blowing on his Hot Pocket as Tony finished setting the timer and pulled out his phone to check his Instagram.

A few minutes later, the microwave beeped again, and Tony took out the Hot Pocket and put it on another paper plate. Then after preparing it, he brought it into the living room and held it out in front of Sean.

"Here you go, Sean." Offered Tony as he tried to get Sean's attention.

Without even looking up from the book, he reached out and took the plate from Tony before setting it down on the coffee table.

"Thanks…" Quietly said Sean as he gingerly took the Hot Pocket and nibbled on the corner of it. It was almost like his eyes were in a trance while reading, barely acknowledging his surroundings.

"Strange… never seen him like that before." Thought Tony as he walked back into the kitchen to prepare his favorite and last Pretzel Bread Hot Pocket.

He took it out of the wrapper and put it in the microwave. Then after setting the timer, he took out his phone and checked his Facebook.

Dougy was finishing off half of his Hot Pocket while looking at his phone. His cigarette butt on the floor was still smoking and was probably burning up the floor.

Sean was going through the book surprisingly fast and already finished a quarter. He picked up his Hot Pocket and took a small bite of it before placing it down on the plate again. He then turned a page and his eyes furrowed into a confused frown. He turned to the page after that, and he began to get more confused. Without looking away from the book, he tried to address Tony.

"Hey, Tony!" Sean began to yell to get his attention, "The pages are blank!"

Tony suddenly looked up, a little confused. "Wait, what?"

Sean looked up from the book for the first time in a while and met Tony's eyes. He then lifted his arm and gestured for him to get closer. "Check this out. The pages are blank, and there is nothing on them except the title."

Tony shook his head and moved next to Sean on the couch to see what he was talking about. "What do you mean? What part of the book is it?"

Sean started flipping through the pages and pointed to them. "Ok, do you see where the book starts talking about the protagonists individually, right?"

Tony looked closer and saw the title of the section, and recognized the words. He remembered reading this part of the book 15 minutes ago.

"Yeah, I see it. What about it?" Annoyingly asked Tony as he saw that there was nothing wrong with it.

Sean then flipped a few pages farther into the book. Then he stopped and pointed to another page. "I'll get to that later, but do you see where it starts talking about the shield hero?"

Tony concentrated on the book again and saw a familiar title and text. It was the same as the last time he read it.

"I can see that too. Now, what are you on about blank pages?" Irritatingly questioned Tony.

Sean nodded in understanding and turned a few more pages farther down before stopping. He then pointed to another page. "Ok, now you saw that there was stuff written in the pages before this, but check this out. When it starts talking about the Sword Hero, all the pages are blank other than the title."

Dougy looked up from his phone with a confused look, not understanding what the two were discussing. "The fuck y'all talking about?"

Tony ignored Dougy and noticed Sean was on to something. He remembered reading this part of the book, but for some odd reason, all the pages were now blank except the title.

He then took the book from Sean's hands and started flipping farther into it. A few pages later, he got to the bow hero. Like the previous chapter, the pages were now blank except for the title. He flipped through the pages to the back of the book and found the rest were all bland as well.

"Yeah, I have no idea what kind of fuckary this is." Tony eventually stated as he was still flipping the pages.

Dougy got up from his chair and slung his backpack over his shoulder before moving over to the couch on the other side of Sean.

"Hey, let me see what you two are on about." Spoke Dougy as he held his open hand to Tony for him to pass the book.

Tony obliged and handed it over to Dougy. Both Sean and Tony watched Dougy flip through the pages a couple of times, and he too saw the blank pages.

"The fuck…?" Dougy whispered as he kept on turning pages.

He suddenly stopped and lightly tossed the book on the coffee table with its pages up. "Ok, I understand what you two mean. Never seen that before."

Tony saw Sean shoot Dougy a look that read, "Well, no shit!" Dougy was about to reply, but Tony suddenly noticed movement on the table.

The pages started moving by themselves.

The book suddenly started flipping its pages rapidly to the right, back to the beginning chapters.

"Woah! Woah!" Said a startled Tony as the book started glowing a harsh yellow.

The book started glowing more intensely in the blink of an eye. Dougy put his hand in front of his face to shield his eyes from the blinding light. "My eyes!"

The book instantly flashed again, and then the three were surrounded in a yellow transparent sphere of light.

Right after the flash, Sean immediately screamed, "WHAT THE FUCK!?"

The sphere surrounding them suddenly began to become more opaque as everything outside it began to vanish.

Tony tried to get up off the couch, but the sphere became solid, causing him to smack his head on the top and fall back on the sofa. The three of them started panicking and tried forcing their way out. They were trapped.

Outside the sphere, there was a great cracking noise as the fabric of reality was broken. A strong wind formed, and objects were thrown around the room as the sphere became a ball of harsh, blinding light. Tendrils of electricity erupted from the sphere and zapped around the room, leaving scorch marks on the walls and floor. Then all at once, the sphere, and everyone in it, imploded itself into nothingness.

Then there was silence…

Dougy, Tony, and Sean were nowhere to be seen, seemingly disappearing into thin air. Any trace of them vanished except the smoke coming from the no so quite put out cigarettes and the microwave beeping for a Hot Pocket that would never be eaten.

In five seconds, the three's lives were changed forever. This was the start of a second chance at life they never expected to have.

To Be Continued~
