Chapter 5
Durmstrang
Institution healer Ivonne Reyes looked around her Hospital Wing. She was glad that she had received funds from the Ministry for its expansion. Over the past ten years, despite opposition from a more conservative part of society, she has managed to get approval to use some of the Muggle advances in medicine. With bone fractures, she often had problems with an accurate diagnosis. She will never forget what happened to one of her students when he broke his arm after falling from a broom during a match and she used only magic to heal. Now she would not make that mistake. She got an x-ray machine.
- Miss Reyes, we have a problem. - Severus Snape popped in without saying hello as usual.
The healer wondered why he had a selective lack of manners. Only after a while she noticed that he and Miss Granger had entered carrying the unconscious girl. She was surprised when she saw the Director of the Institute behind them.
- What happened? - she asked routinely.
- Nothing special. Another girl had a mysterious accident. - Both adult wizards looked at Helen Granger.
- What are you looking at me? - the girl's eyes widened. - I didn't do anything.
Severus carefully laid Elena Aleksandrowicz on the hospital bed. He looked at her visible wounds. Against his will, he said aloud - I haven't seen anything like this. I have never read about anything like this in the books. - He gently parted the girl's eyelids with his thumb. - Black? What is it caused by?
The black haired boy didn't notice the worried expressions on the faces of the rest of the people present in the room. Ivonne Reyes thought it was a good thing that hers intern was having a day off today. Director Ivanovic tried to stop his left hand from shaking. Both wizards knew Helen should explain the situation. They were discreet, but this boy was going to be her husband. Severus Snape is her partner. It will come out sooner or later.
- Attacks. - girl interrupted. - I've been under attack every day since we met here. I operate with the most effective spell I know, and then remove the evidence.
The young wizard looked angry. - I understand the defense, but there is no evidence that has been removed. What did you do?
The girl looked embarrassed which caused a momentary smile on the face of both the director and the healer.
- I've been training memory erasing.
- Merlin, what?! - To the headmaster's surprise, the boy smiled - If you don't want to hurt someone, you need to train. Train under controlled conditions. Now, for the sake of it, what did you want your victims to forget?- His voice instantly turned cold. The head healer felt goose bumps on her skin.
- You know very well that some skills, even among wizards, are rare. Just like talking to snakes - the girl sighed. - My first magic is that of Gellert Grindewald liked. Blue flame. I am not related to him, but how could I explain this to both his followers and those who suffered from his hand?
- It's just one thing. Why didn't you tell me?
- Because it's not the only thing that I have in common with him, despite the lack of a blood relationship.
All three watched as Helen Granger stepped back, then bowed her head and removed her contact lenses. When the girl straightens up, they finally know what she means.
- Heterochromia. - Ivanovic gasped.
- I cannot allow myself to spread rumors in a place so wronged by the previous Dark Lord that his heir has been found.
The healer, keeping the presence of mind, quickly asked - Why didn't you mention it before?
- I didn't mention it because now you are the only people apart from my parents who know about it. A secret ceases to be a secret when too many people have access to hidden information.
At this point, Director Ivanovic decided to book an appointment with a mind healer. He was sure that if he didn't start therapy soon, he would go crazy. Severus Snape and Helen Granger provide him with more entertainment than all the students of the last few years put together. He will turn gray prematurely.

Lily Evans waited impatiently to enter the Great Hall. She was intrigued by the announcement she had recently seen on the bulletin board in both the main corridor and the Gryffindor Common Room. It was obligatory to attend lunch. Apparently, not only she was curious, because most of the students were gathered in front of the door.
- You know what's going on? - Together with the words she heard, she felt the weight of one of her friends on her back. - I don't remember that the door to this room was ever closed.
- I don't remember either. - The red-haired girl muttered.
She searched the crowd of students with her eyes and saw the worry despite the occasional smiles on their faces. In the corner she could even see Narcissa Black cuddled up to Lucius Malfoy. This couple rarely showed affection for each other in public. She also spotted Regulus, a friend of Severus ...
Ah, Severus. You probably would know what it could do. Thinking about her childhood friend, once again stood the image of his face and the sadness in his eyes, which she saw on the day she refused to talk to him for the last time. The day he gave up and didn't speak to her anymore. She was stupid. She is still stupid.

Minerva looked at Dumbledore worriedly. She didn't know how she could help him. The anxiety among wizards grew more and more, and he was slipping away from control over the families on whom the covenant was counting. She never expected the Potter family to give up their support for Albus. And now this ...
- The intensity of classes will be increased for all students or only for those who will be in the required age range next year?
The director put his glasses on his nose and sat down in his chair. - I think that the best solution would be for all students to participate in these classes. Maybe it will raise their morale more than the House Cup or the Quidditch Cup.
- Do you know who came up with the idea to organize the Triwizard Tournament this year at Hogwarts? When we agreed to revive this tradition, was there a proposal to make the First Tournament on the Old Continent due to the danger of you-know-who?
- Voldemort, Minerva. The director of the institute asked me to change. He have problem that could make it difficult to make the necessary changes there. As for the French ... I wasn't convinced about it, so I volonters us.
Minerva shook her head in disapproval. - Sometimes I think you have more prejudices than Voldemort himself. It's just that his prejudices are in other areas.
The Transfiguration Professor sometimes doubted this man. She believed in his strength but did n't always agree morally with him. Unfortunately, she lacked a lot, so she had no right to criticize him.

Kate Bennet, a new employee in the division that traces the descendants of dying magic families lines, was looking through papers on the Price family. Augustus Prince finally understood that marrying a Muggle wasn't a sufficient reason to disinherit his daughter. For legal reasons, he couldn't transfer magical assets to a non-magical person. That's why he was furious for not knowing that his only child had fathered a half-prince. Severus Snape.
- We'll never find him. - she snapped in frustration.
The young witch knew she had a difficult task ahead. However, she also knew that she wouldn't give up. Her position depended on this task. Being a single mother, she couldn't afford to lose it.
