Sorry for the hiatus on this guys – with COVID and everything I kind of fell out of this story line – but I plan on keeping it up. Lots more smut and twists with their Father's fingers in all cookie jars. Review and let me know your thoughts if you happen to still be reading. Xox
Chapter 17
He watched the girl's head move back as his snake like tongue moved between her legs, entering her.
"Reiji how?" She moaned.
"Ah, this is the most diabolical fun I've had in a while." Sepsei smirked at Savide. "I am very jealous of your venom right now."
"Ah, says the lone Crimson Snake." He removed his tongue from beneath the girl's skirt. His stoic voice was one thing that was like Reiji. In only that.
"Oh, shush now don't be jealous of me, mine is an instant kill almost…this well this is fun. And even she can't believe the dear man who hurt your sister has the prowess that we do." Sepsei moved his hips further into the dazed vampire girl.
"Ayatoo…." She groaned.
"This better work." Savide moved his hips into his girl joining Sepsei. Her head lulled in pleasure and daze.
"Oh, come now, at the least it is fun to ruin a few tyrant, pompous, and idiotic vampiresses. To think their little Eve thinks them not to be straying from her…with this…"
"Eve…you're calling her that now too?"
"Why should I not? I was introduced to her firstly by that."
"Burai told me she was simply his daughter's shell." Savide's head threw back as he and his vampiress suddenly reached their peak.
"Well now that this is settled. All we have to do is let them come to us." Sepsei smirked. "Or was that perhaps too spot on."
"How I adhere to your idiotic and fleeting belligerence is beyond me…" Misceo rolled his eyes as he stepped into the room. "I would have done this a much more direct way."
"Trust me dear four eyes, when your viperous tongue gets a chance at the vampire Kings, then we will see just who is right."
Sepsei rolled the girl and pushed her off the desk, as she hit the ground in a haze, her head smacking hard on the floor. "Good thing I didn't bite her, she'd surely be nearly dead with that much blood…"
His mossy green eyes, glowed with a smirk as he bared his crimson snake fangs.
"So where are our little garden snakes hiding?" Laito looked over his half- brother Reiji's shoulder, and peered into the book.
"They are undoubtably in plain sight. Somewhere near here…if they are to hover at our school it is undoubtable that they are near that area."
"Do you think they'd be so proud as to rent their own place… Oh, a mansion like ours? They do seem to want all our glory, don't they?" Laito speculated tapping his chin.
"All they want is Yui and they're not getting that." Ayato crossed his arms.
"No, they aren't. However, I don't think it wise for us to leave her behind."
"Why's that?" Subaru asked.
"Simple: we cannot leave her here. It's out in the open. If we leave her with the Mukami brothers, we leave her with those rather inadequate. And if we decide to approach head on, I suggest we all go…all meaning our family…in order to keep our odds in our favour." Reiji pressed his glasses up, his red eyes calculated and stern in gaze.
"She is safer with us." Shu nodded. Again, his long strife with Yuma was something that inhibited a lack of trust.
"Believe me she's not going near Ruki." Ayato scoffed.
"Oh, still perhaps threatened by the ol' half-blood leader?" Laito smiled. "Tell me, Yui, should Ayato be concerned of Ruki at all?"
Ayato's back straightened.
"I don't see why…" Yui said hesitantly walking in on a conversation she wasn't quite sure of.
"The point being. Yui you are coming with us. Perhaps this is a chance to spend a bit of time learning to defend yourself as well." Reiji looked to her.
"She's got me."
"I never said she didn't." Reiji shook his head, looking to Ayato. "By any means, considering we have sources of at least one of their venoms, I'll make sure to-"
Kanato suddenly appeared. "I'm afraid we have some guests…"
"Guests?" Ayato stood up and before he could say another word, Yuma opened the door to their living room.
"I think you guys ought to go to school…there's something you're going to want to see." His face looked hardened.
"Oh, I haven't seen this one this riled up before…" Laito raised a brow.
It didn't take long before they saw what Yuma meant.
The brothers walked up to the gate. Yui could feel the tension in the school yard and wrapped her hand into Ayato's with a squeeze.
"Don't worry Pancake, whatever it is, we'll take care of it."
But the sound of gasps filled the room as their fellow classmates left a large space open between them in the centre of the schoolyard enterence, just before the gates.
"It's her." Subaru looked to Ayato.
"So they killed the grande bitch didn't they? A statement perhaps on how far they are willing to go to make sure our lovely Eve is safe?" Laito raised a brow.
"Thana." Ayato simply said. Yui's eyes went wide. There was a large mess of blood in her hair. She'd never seen a vampire who looked so drained of life. She was laid out for the whole school to see.
"What is this?" Reiji stepped forward and saw a note in the bloodied pocket of her shirt. He unfolded it and glanced over it. "Well, I suppose I read this allowed in the privacy of our own home. I think I am going to strongly recommend to our dear Dean, that we should stop school activities at once until these festering serpents are out of the way." He eyed his brothers, as the nodded.
"Ah, all lovely on lookers, no worries, we will be ridding of our little snake infestation soon. Our sincerest condolences to Thana's family – let it be known the Vampire Kings are out for blood." Laito proclaimed to the student vampires. "As my dear school council brother recommended: class dismissed! Now off you all go! Shoo shoo!"
"I'll go handle the politics of this." Reiji nodded to Ayato. "I suggest we return home, I think we have been prompted for confrontation to say the least."
"They're trying to suggest we don't do an adequate job of protecting her?" Subaru asked.
"On the other hand, they may have made a rather fallible move here." Reiji pushed his glasses up slightly, the glare shining in the moonlight. "After I am finished speaking with the Dean, of course addressing the tragic nature of this event and the plan we have to put these snakes in their right place…I might ask to see her body for myself." Reiji swiftly left.
"Do…do you think this was my fault?" Yui gasped.
"Nothing is your fault. They're trying to point out our incompetence. Our stupid school will think we failed to protect her, and they're trying to suggest we don't do enough to keep idiot girls like her from hurting you. They're asking for it." Ayato scoffed.
"All the more reason to destroy them. You must really give it to Pops, he's got us hunting down the Snake demons, our lone challengers, even after he's kicked the bucket…" Laito sighed.
"I don't like to give the bastard that much credit." Subaru groaned.
"Well back homeward bound we go…" Kanato clutched his Teddy again.
"Do you need assistance with this?"
They turned to see Ruki and the Mukami's.
"Ah, so the noble brothers come in for a clean swoop? As enthralling as it was, I don't think we need you." Subaru rolled his eyes.
Ayato narrowed his eyes on Pancake, who seemed to have grasped his hand all the harder. "Can we depend on you to hold down the fort here? People will challenge us on this. They will blame Yui again." His eyes, seemed to glow with a bitter sense of protectiveness. They landed on Ruki and stared him down.
"So you're saying if anyone tries to start blaming her..." Ruki was surprised by this rather direct order. He'd expected Subaru's words to come from Ayato's mouth.
"Ha, we'll destroy em. Even if they are full bloods, I don't mind beating a few idiots up." Yuma shrugged.
"I mean, my followers would never dare challenge me on my preferences… at least not all of the girls…" Kou smiled.
"And when we come back with the heads of each of those snake demon idiots, nobody will second guess or challenge Yui's safety again." Ayato squeezed her hand back.
Yui felt herself jump a little at his subtle notion of protective affection.
"I think we have enough to do as it is. Let's go." Shu moved his head to the left a bit. The yard had seemingly emptied out for the most part. The brothers all dispersed.
Yui felt Ayato pull her forward as they returned home.
"So, what's the plan now?" Kanato asked.
"We need to find their place." Ayato scoffed.
"Well we have received a rather blatant invitation."
The others looked over to see Reiji had returned as he placed the folded paper in front of them. Plainly they could see what was written.
We thought we'd do the honors of taking care of someone who challenged your Eve. Plus, we all know potential mothers of hybrids do not end well in the hands of the Sakamaki King, so we did you a favor. Your move. The moon will be full soon. We've placed our mailing address at the bottom, and cordially wait for your response. – Burai's best
"So they took her, and they did us a favor? What kind of shit is this?" Subaru shook his head.
"What is more, they seem to be playing their cards as if everything they do challenges us. If they did copulate with her, she may have been gifted with a hybrid low life child. Our father always destroyed that kind, as he did with those Demon Cats and sending them on our path." Reiji shook his head. "Which is something else…if Burai simply wanted to have Yui return as the last living heir they could have captured her. More so, if they wanted to attempt to undo our father's work…they'd have already tried to bite her…"
"I'm done mulling over their antics. Who cares, we have their address…"
"We don't actually." Laito picked it up and inspected it. "They have appeared to have lied…"
"I don't think that was the point. I think they're telling us we can see where they are hiding according to their mailbox. Look. There is an image of a snake on the bottom of the letterhead. A typical insignia of the vibora. I suspect if we find the house with that image on its box, we will be good to go." Rei
"Oh they are cheeky aren't they? Well, I think, of good faith, in this case Ayato can keep protecting Yui here and we will go on the mailbox witch hunt. Your welcome brother, you will have the whole house to yourself with your dear bride, not to mention to keep under wraps so nobody sneaks in to take her." Laito rose and stretched. "Shall we brothers?"
"I agree. Let's find this place."
"When we believe we have we need to return here promptly. Tomorrow is when our bet ends. I would expect we have this mess cleaned up no later." Reiji nodded.
"Then let's go." Shu got up and opened the door to leave. The others soon followed.
"Yui, do you still know where Subaru's knife is?"
"Uhm… I think I had it in my vanity drawer…"
"Good."
"Why?"
"Because if we do end up in bed… that one is staying under my pillow. The sword will be at my side. I'm not leaving anything to chance this time."
