HP Fanfic
A young freckled ginger boy around the age of 7 ran over the crest of a hill. He wore old dirty clothes that had been clearly worn one too many times. In one hand he held a small doll-like figure with a dirty face and scowl. Clearly a gnome. Once at the bottom of the hill he stretched out his arm and flung the gnome as far as he could, which was just a couple of metres. The gnome after crashing down looked at the boy indignity and seemed about to yell something at the boy. Suddenly, the gnome stopped and ran into the nearby bushes. The boy looked confused but then himself turned tail and ran up the hill.
At the bottom of the hill, a cat walked silently upwards. It was dusty coloured and had a wand in its mouth. The cat went up the hill and went towards the strange quirky house known as the Weasley home.
Upon reaching the house it went in. A ginger man in a long robe sat at a kitchen table. Noticing the cat he started to sweat. His name was Arthur Weasley. Quickly he called out, "Molly could you bring the kids upstairs and fetch me and the guest something to eat?"
Molly appeared and brought a bowl of soup and a bowl of milk setting them both on the table. Arthur sat silently while the cat went up to a chair and sat down. They both stared at each other, then the cat began lapping at the milk, setting the wand on its forelimbs. Arthur then began to eat the soup.
Finally Arthur finished. He looked up at the cat and watched it for a bit before suddenly the cat looked up. A look terror came upon Arthur and he quickly tried to mumble a apology, but his mouth was dry. The then managed to rasp out, "What do you want from me? I haven't done anything to anger Filch, so why have you come?".
The cat remained silent.
Then, slowly but carefully, it drew out a tattered piece of paper. It showed the blank side, seeming to relish the look of terror on Arthurs fac. It then slowly turned the paper around. On it was written a large sum of 3000 galleons and Arthur Weasley with the word "dead" written in quick strokes beneath.
Arthur, staring at it shock then said, "Who ever payed you? I'll pay you double somehow I promise."
Seeing the look of uninterest on the cats face, Arthur with a look of understanding, tore a sheet of paper from a workbook next to him. He wrote down his offer and showed it to the cat.
The cat ignored it.
Arthur stared in increasing panic, but then suddenly with a gasp drew out his wand, words of a spell upon his lips.
The cat flicked up the it held in its jaw quickly, pointing it at Arthur. A streak of red light came out hitting Arthur square in the chest before he could even take out his wand. A explosion rang through the room. The table they sitting at flung through the air. Arthurs chair and surroundings were demolished, along with Arthur himself. The cat had flipped back and landed neatly to admire its handiwork. Suddenly someone came running down the stairs: Molly. She came into the room and took out her own wand, but quickly was struck back by a beam of green light from the wand of the cat. Molly's body was flung through the air landing in a crumpled heap on the floor.
The cat walked out silently as the kids of the Weasleys came dashing out, weeping over their fallen parents.
Malfoy Manor, Dusk
A man lay in bed. He was sick: his pale skin and frail form showing it clearly. However, his lifeless eyes suddenly looked up at the dusky cat entering the room. It prowled over to the bed and climbed onto it, looking down on its miserable resident. The man with a look of excitement quickly asked, "Is Arthur dead?"
The cat nodded. A happy expression on the man's face appeared. He laughed a croaky, weak sound. "Finally that pathetic muggle bootlicker is dead!" Looking at the cat who watched still he said "Oh, of course," and from under his covers pulled out a ornate box. Opening it with a key under his pillow, he withdrew a large sum of money. 'Half before the job half once its completed as promised," he said.
The cat coughed up a measly bag and the man, with a look of disgust, put the money into it. The cat crumpled the bag up and swallowed it.
The man settled back, clearly expecting the cat to leave. It didn't. "You can go now," he said, clearly irritated".
Yet the cat did didn't move. Instead, it coughed up some soggy paper on which in the writing of someone in shock said:
Kill whoever sent you after me and I'll double the payment they offered.
The cat then coughed up another piece of paper on which was the bounty set for Arthur. It tapped a bit of writing which read "Lucius Malfoy."
Lucius, with a expression of abrupt fear quickly spoke out "Norris you can't be serious, you know the Weasley's dont have a penny to their name!"
The cat remained silent. Lucius in a moment of panic began trying to climb out of the bed.
The cat with a wave of its wand made the blanket covering Lucius creep up and pin him down. The blanket then started to creep over Lucius's mouth, then nose, then his entire face.
The cat jumped down from the bed and walked out as the blanket slowly started to smother its occupant.
I posted this on the Harry Potter Wiki discussions but I thought it would be interesting to see if there's interest here as well. Parody of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly scene where Angel eyes kills a man for a bounty.
