After saying goodbye to Rothchild, Angus, and Dreyfuss, Jack and I started our long and unforgiving journey to find a way home and spent a couple of days crossing an empty terrain without a clue on where we were going or where we should go but it was a lot more preferable than being stuck in that disgusting city and at least this way, I felt safer and more secure since Jack was a skilled fighter and someone who is searching for a way home like me.
Having a conversation with Jack was not as easy as I had hoped since I asked about his injuries and he brushed them off as nothing serious while I made a comment about the weather and he politely agreed with my opinion on it, though any other questions I had asked him ended with simple yes or no answers and I assumed that he wasn't up for small talk while he seemed lost in thought most of the time and I proceeded to think about my own situation during our travels.
After days of walking, we stopped to take a break and Jack scouted ahead while I looked at the barren wasteland that stretched on for miles and recalled how we could do little with surviving off of a few vegetables and a single candy bar as I took out a single water bottle from my backpack and swished it around, seeing that there was only less than half left and it told me that we needed to find some water soon while I took a few sips and closed the bottle until Jack returned and I offered the bottle to him.
Jack took the bottle and studied it for a short time before he handed it back without opening it and I was puzzled as to why he would do that.
"Are you sure? We've been walking for hours so aren't you thirsty?" I questioned in confusion and Jack shook his head.
"That water is yours and you need it more than I do. Besides, we can find some food and water there so if we leave now, we should make it before nightfall," Jack replied as he pointed to the distant trees behind the cliffside and, by the looks of the grand density of it, I concluded that it was a jungle.
"Sounds good, so we should probably get going," I agreed as I stood up and placed the bottle in my backpack before putting it on and we continued on towards the jungle.
Once we were inside the jungle, Jack found a river and it allowed me to refill my water bottle while he used his hands to scoop up the water and drink as I looked up at the trees above us and smiled, hearing the birds chirping and the leaves rustling while I took a deep breath and let it out as I thought how this was much nicer than the smog-stricken city and the dusty ruins of the dog mines.
"God...the air is so clean here and I guess that there are some places that Aku hasn't even touched yet," I muttered before I spotted a berry bush and jogged over to it, then I studied the berries and looked back at Jack.
"Jack, I found some berries so why don't we eat these to tide us over until we find trees with fruit in them," I offered and Jack saw what I was talking about until he frowned and shook his head.
"I would not recommend that because those are pokeweed berries and they are very poisonous," Jack warned and I paled as I took a few steps back with wide eyes.
"Jesus...thanks for the warning or that could've ended badly for me," I told Jack, who nodded in response.
"Just don't eat anything you don't recognize," Jack stated and I sighed as I wondered when we would be able to find edible food soon.
I was snapped out of my train of thought when Jack suddenly started hacking at the vines with his sword and I watched as he trimmed off the leaves and evened the vines out so they were tightly pressed against one another and, with a shake of his wrist, the vines began to wind themselves around each other until they formed a sturdy-looking rope and Jack began to make a noose at the end of the make-shift rope.
"What are you doing?" I asked curiously and Jack looked at me.
"I am making a trap so that if everything goes well, then we shall have dinner tonight," Jack explained and I nodded in understanding since I knew that we would have to hunt if we wanted to stay alive on this journey of ours and it wasn't like I could go to the grocery store for food anymore.
Jack placed the rope down and covered it with leaves before placing a carrot in the center, one of the last few provisions that we had thanks to Rothchild's generosity and we moved into the nearby bushes while Jack was holding onto the end of the rope before we crouched and waited for an unknown amount of time. After a half an hour, a large boar with impressive tusks came trudging across the clearing with its snout snorting and twitching, then it caught sight of the carrot and slowly approached the trap while Jack's hand tightened on the rope and I took out an arrow before resting it onto the bow.
I was tense and ready to shoot as I could almost imagine the dinner we would be having tonight before the jungle shook with a deafening roar, startling me as I let out a frightened gasp and the boar ran away squealing while Jack and I quickly looked around in alarm.
"The fuck was that?!" I exclaimed as I aimed around frantically with my bow until the ground shook with impending large footsteps, causing Jack and me to turn around just before a giant mammoth-like creature burst through the trees and we scrambled out of the way to prevent being trampled to death.
Following the creature were two more mammoths with little men riding them as the fleeing creature crushed the carrot bait and accidentally snagged the rope onto its leg until Jack and I looked down at our rope to see each of our feet were tangled up in it and before we could react accordingly, the rope tightened around our ankles and we were swept off our feet.
"Oh shit!" I yelped before we were dragged away through the jungle and I screamed in a panic after that.
I gritted my teeth as my back was dragged against the ground and I felt every rock and root scraping me as Jack and I passed them before Jack managed to loosen the rope on his ankle and reposition himself so that he was being dragged on his front, just before he was able to move his head out of the way of rocks and fruit but was unable to avoid a branch that broke on impact while I thankfully freed myself and grabbed the rope.
Jack pulled on the rope until he reached the mammoth and launched himself onto the animal's back while I was pulling myself forward, then Jack helped me up onto the animal's back and he made the rope into a lasso before using it on the animal and causing it to trip on its front legs. The mammoth whined as it skidded towards the edge of a cliff and came to a stop suddenly, flinging me off and I yelled in terror while I started to fall and was grabbed by the wrist from Jack before he pulled me up to the edge and I stumbled to my feet until I collapsed to my hands and knees.
"Brad, are you okay?" Jack asked in concern while he was busy securing the animal and I waved a hand at him in acknowledgment as he finished and walked over to me.
"I'm fine, just shook up more than anything," I assured as I stood up and let out a breath of relief, just as the little men caught up with us and jumped off their mounts before running over to the mammoth and I was shocked when they started prodding it with their harpoons that had electrical currents coming out until they eventually subdued it after striking the animal many times and they approached us with smirks.
"Nice job with the beast," the leader with orange shades addressed me and Jack.
"I guess," the second one added with less enthusiasm while he had the same nasally voice.
"We would have caught him anyway with our modified tridental incapacitators," the third one boasted with the same voice and if I wasn't looking at them, I would've assumed that it was one person speaking so I wondered if they were related in some way.
"Whatever, secure the beast!" the leader ordered after rolling his eyes and the other two fired beams of light from their weapons, then the light turned into shackles that bound the mammoth's legs together.
"This beast is always trying to escape so your days are numbered because thanks to these warriors, you'll never escape again, wild one," the leader scoffed at the mammoth and I couldn't help but feel sympathetic for it since the creature looked depressed and helpless.
"We must celebrate its capture so come back to the village with us," the leader offered and Jack looked uncertain while we shared a look with each other.
"Well, uh...I don't know if, uh...we should," Jack struggled to say while it looked like he was trying to come up with a way to refuse the invitation without offending anyone.
"You two should!" the second one insisted and the third one nodded in agreement.
"There will be a feast with rare delectable," the third one added and Jack's stomach growled at the mention of food while he pressed a hand over it.
"Jack, why don't we have dinner with them? They're inviting us to get something to eat so it wouldn't hurt to go with them and we don't know when we'll have another opportunity like this," I pointed out and Jack frowned thoughtfully before he sighed in resignation.
"Well, we haven't eaten in days so I suppose no harm will come of it," Jack agreed and the small blue men with white outfits smirked at each other before they offered us a ride on their mounts, then Jack and I sat behind the leader and I made sure not to fall while the mammoths moved steadily.
Our people have dwelled in this land for many decades and much of it was a barren wasteland when the first settlers arrived, so our ancestors worked long and hard for many seasons to cultivate it into the beautiful place it is now. These Woolies as we call them used to roam the land wild while the bloodthirsty creatures threatened the survival of our early settlers," the leader explained while we moved through the jungle.
"Nearly driving us to extinction!" the third one added loudly with a sneer and I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable since they all had the same voice and it was creeping me the hell out.
"Anyway, with our great courage and determination, we manage to tame these savage beasts while it took many years but now they are docile and cooperative, helping us with our everyday duties and we provide them with shelter and safety for their hard work," the leader continued as if he hadn't just been interrupted and I patted the Woolie beneath me while I marveled its fur.
"Well, they hardly appear bloodthirsty to me and look cute," I commented and the leader looked back at me.
"Don't let their meek appearances fool you because even though they look cute and cuddly, they will kill you the second you let your damn guard down," the leader warned and I quickly retracted my hand before I stared at the leader with a puzzled look.
"But I thought you said that they are docile and cooperative now," I pointed out in confusion.
"As much as wild beasts are capable of being and have you tried taming lions, tigers, or bears? They will rip you apart if they get the chance and these beasts are no different," the leader stated and I frowned thoughtfully.
"Oh," I muttered as I looked back at one of the Woolies and saw its face appearing hopeless while it hung its head and I wondered if these creatures were as dangerous as these little men claimed.
"Well, here we are and pretty impressive, huh?" the leader announced after we traveled for a while and I peered over Jack's shoulder to see what the little man was talking about.
What stood before us was a village that certainly would've been impressive if it didn't look like it was falling apart, the towering marble domes dull with age and neglect while some of the rooftops were cracked and broken as nature was already in the process of overtaking the entire village with vines and trees growing around and out of structures.
"If you say so..." I muttered uncertainly while Jack didn't say anything at first, but the expression on his face indicated that he wasn't entirely sure of the state of the village either since the place looks more like a historical ruin than a prospering village.
"These buildings look...quite old," Jack mentioned carefully as if to not cause problems.
"Thank you," the leader said proudly, not appearing to take offense and seem quite pleased with the fact that his village was falling apart.
I saw several Woolies working on the field, some hauling heavy wagons while others walked in circles and turned a wooden wheel...they all looked absolutely miserable and I cringed as I saw one being zapped with a harpoon while it was forced to pull a bunch of logs up a hill. As for the rest of the population, they all looked exactly the same with the white suits, blue skin, same voices, same size, and it was very creepy since it was like someone went crazy with a clone machine as the leader whistled and alerted a few of his men.
"Secure the beast until I devise a punishment for his escape," the leader ordered and the other little men proceeded to jab at the Woolie mercilessly with their harpoons while taunting it.
I frowned at the sight and wondered if that was really necessary as they forced the Woolie into a stable that looked more like a cell, then they slammed the door and the Woolie looked out the small barred window before meeting my eyes and I felt bad for the poor animal, but there wasn't anything I could do about it for now as I looked away and stared at my hands.
"Let's eat," the leader said while turning to us with a grin and completely unaffected by the Woolie's treatment, then Jack and I perked up at the mention of food.
Pretty soon, night had fallen while the festivities began and I watched as the little blue creatures, who were called Chritcellites, had set up a giant bonfire out in the open where food and drink were provided.
I sat next to Jack as the Woolies blew into giant musical horns and it was an experience like no other while I smiled politely when I was handed a steaming drink and proceeded to look around, seeing two little men play chess while another one was offering advice and another group was discussing some Jenga figurines.
"This future is so bizarre since I can't tell if it grew advanced with technology or if it reverted in primitivity," I commented to Jack as he graciously accepted his own hot drink and he shrugged before he took a long sip of his drink.
Suddenly, Jack's eyes widened and his cheeks bulged before he struggled to swallow and tears of revulsion leaked down his face as he gripped his throat and groaned in disgust, causing me to stare down at my own drink in horror while I wondered what the hell was in it to create such a reaction in the samurai. Taking a risk, I carefully brought the cup to my nose and tentatively sniffed the drink, then promptly recoiled as my nose burned from the steam and made sure no one was looking as I dumped the foul-smelling liquid into a bush before I set my cup down as far away as possible.
"Bring on the entertainment!" the leader announced from his throne as the horns sounded and two Woolies dressed up in Arabian attire were forced into the circle while I winced every time they were zapped with a trident.
One Woolie stood up on its hind-legs and the other one walked on its forelegs while balancing a giant red ball on its back ones as the little blue men cheered and I noticed Jack pushing a tray of fruit to me.
"Here, try this," Jack offered and I perked up at the sight of fruit before plucking a few grapes and hummed happily as I ate one.
"Thanks...damn, I never thought I would be happy to eat grapes again," I commented since it wasn't meat and I wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
I tried not to focus on the circus in front of me on account of the Woolies looking downright miserable but one Woolie shakily tossed the ball a little too high and the other tried to catch it before toppling over and crushed his rider into a bunch of wooden barrels, causing me to suck in a breath at the accident since that looked painful for both of them while one of the blue men looked pissed as he ran over to the Woolie and started stabbing it hard with his trident.
"Up, you fucking worthless beast!" the little man yelled viciously while several more joined in to zap the animal, then Jack proceeded to clap slowly with an uncertain look while I felt outraged and stood up.
"Hey, it was an accident so there's no need for that!" I shouted angrily and that got the little men to stop before they stared at me while one of them snorted.
"Oh great, we got a Woolie activist over here," one of the men scoffed and the others started muttering to each other while I crossed my arms and just frowned before Jack cleared his throat.
"We mean no disrespect, but your treatment of the Woolies does seem rather harsh," Jack pointed out and one of the blue men, who was sitting next to him, looked at Jack.
"Not really, since how we handle the Woolies is no different than how you humans treat...what do you call them? Horses?" the man stated and I pursed my lips irritably.
"Humans don't stab or electrocute their horses, they treat them with love and respect before they listen and aid them," I argued sternly while making sure to keep my human identity a secret and the blue man next to Jack sniffed before he looked at him.
"There is no pleasing your pet, is there? It's no wonder the canines had to be rehabilitated from what I heard," the man stated and I gaped at him while struggling to control my temper from the nerve of what he said as Jack frowned at how rude the little man was being.
"I am not his pet, I am his friend," I retorted and the man waved me off.
"Tomato, tomato," the man commented dismissively and the leader shrugged.
"In any case, I can see that our entertainment offends you so we shall entertain ourselves for the night," the leader chimed in before ordering his men to escort the Woolies out of the area, causing the others to protest but they reluctantly did what they were told.
The Woolies were taken away and the banquet continued but there was only so much of the party that I could take while Jack had admitted that this was not what he was expecting, so we finished our meals and excused ourselves from the party before we found ourselves exploring the area but I felt nothing but contempt for the little blue men since they were very rude, dismissive, and had no sympathy for the Woolies while something about them gave me a bad feeling.
Jack and I came to a stop at one of the old buildings and he commented on it thoughtfully while two little men ran past us, then I spotted the cell where the runaway Woolie was being held and tapped Jack on the shoulder to get his attention until I gestured at the cell and we headed over to it while the Woolie spotted us and quickly backed away before shaking with a look of fear.
"It's okay, we're not going to hurt you," I reassured gently and the Woolie gradually stopped shaking but did not approach as Jack took out an apple and reached his arm in to hold it out.
"Here," Jack offered kindly as the Woolie hesitated and sniffed at the apple, then I started considering if the Woolie was a carnivore and figured that Jack sticking his hand in wasn't a good idea.
Just as I was about to convince Jack to pull his hand out, the Woolie chomped down on the apple with Jack's hand and I gasped in alarm, but Jack pulled his hand out and I saw that it was only covered in saliva before I let out a breath of relief and tentatively reached in to pat the Woolie while it appeared to smile and lean into my touch as my eyes softened.
"Huh, you're not so bad after all, and had you wanted to bite Jack's hand off, you would've already done it. I don't know about you, but those little blue creatures seem to be more vicious than a Woolie and I wish we could do something, but I doubt a humane society exists and this isn't exactly our business so have a good sleep," I told the Woolie as I pulled away, earning a sad groan and I waved as Jack and I were about to leave.
"Wait...please, don't go," a meek voice begged behind us, causing me and Jack to look at each other with eyes wide in shock and instantly turned around before Jack started gripping the bars.
"Did you just speak?" Jack gasped in disbelief.
"Hey, get away from there!" a voice called out from behind and I looked to see it was a couple of blue men with the leader.
Before I knew what was happening, they ran at us before me and Jack were shoved aside and two of the men went inside the cell to tase the Woolie as the leader glared at us.
"What do you two think you're doing?!" the leader snapped as he pointed at us and I was too stunned to say anything while Jack bowed.
"Forgive us, we mean no disrespect but we wished to see if the Woolie was fairing well," Jack replied humbly and the leader scoffed while I grimaced at the bellows of pain that were coming from the cell.
"Well, just be careful since the beasts are tricky and their mind control will fry your brain!" the leader scolded, but I knew he was lying and I glared at him as he escorted us back to the bonfire.
After what I just heard from the Woolie, there was no doubt in my mind anymore that these creatures were sentient and the whole situation turned from animal abuse to outright slavery while Jack appeared troubled by this new revelation as we headed back and I decided that we would wait until the little men had gone to sleep and go speak to the Woolie to figure out what was going on.
After a short time later, the party ended and it was time to turn in for the night while Jack and I laid down and he fell asleep, but I remained awake and made sure that every single blue man was out like a light before I slowly sat up and glanced around, seeing that the coast was clear and looked at Jack before I saw that his face was scrunched up and sweat trickled down his temple as I saw that he was having a nightmare until I gently grabbed his shoulder.
"Jack, wake up," I whispered before the samurai woke up and sat up with a sharp gasp, causing me to recoil with my hands up as his hand gripped his sword and he looked around wildly like he was being attacked until he saw me and relaxed while wiping his face with his hand.
"Sorry, just a bad dream," Jack reassured before his eyes narrowed as he stood up and I did the same until we peered out of the building.
Seeing that the little blue men were asleep, we quietly moved through the old village until we made it to the cell and peered in to see the Woolie, who woke up and his eyes widened in excitement at the sight of us and he came over with a smile.
"You two came back, thank you," the Woolie said gratefully and Jack looked astonished at him talking.
"Don't worry, we're going to get you out of there," I reassured quietly and the Woolie perked up.
"Really? You will free me?" the Woolie asked hopefully and we nodded in response before Jack opened the door and let the Woolie out.
"Follow me, everything will be explained to you both," the Woolie instructed and we nodded as he led us through the village.
We snuck past any little blue man that was still awake and kept moving until we arrived at a large old gate and I saw that it was chained up with a padlock as Jack studied it with a critical eye before he removed the pin keeping his hair tied back, causing his long hair to come down as he used the pin on the lock until he got it unlocked and I was impressed that he improvised while Jack tied his hair back and I removed the padlock before opening the gate.
Looking inside, Jack and I gasped at the sight of so many Woolies while I felt shocked and outraged that they were just locked up like animals before Jack turned to stare at the Woolie that led us here.
"What is this place?" Jack questioned and the Woolie started looking depressed.
"It's where we're kept at night," the Woolie answered before we walked in and I felt angry at how hopeless the other Woolies appeared as I clenched my fists.
"This is fucked up...we need to stop this," I muttered quietly while we passed the other Woolies and arrived at an old building in the middle of the area.
The Woolie urged us to go up the stairs with a nudge to each of us, then Jack and I shared a look before I started feeling nervous while we went up the stairs until we came across a Woolie that looked ancient while his fur had overgrown most of the entire floor of the building and his eyes were closed. At that moment, the Woolie opened his eyes as they glowed and fired light beams into our eyes before either of us could react and the Woolie spoke to us while sending images telepathically.
The Woolie introduced himself as Lazzor, the oldest one among his kind and explained that they used to be happy and prosperous a long time ago while not living on technology as he sent images of what it was like back then and I couldn't help but smile at seeing the Woolies looking so happy with the buildings clean and beautiful while the area was just an open field, but then he told us that the little blue men appeared in transports from the sky one day and invaded their village.
Lazzor told us that they tried to defend themselves from such an unexpected attack but they lost the fight because of the little men's technology and sheer numbers before using an orb on a rocket to enslave them and forced them into decades of hell until Jack and I were told that if the little men weren't stopped, then the Woolies would die out and go extinct before he finished his story and my eyes opened as I looked up at the Woolie with a sympathetic expression.
"Will you help us?" Lazzor inquired and my eyes narrowed as I looked at Jack.
"We will," Jack replied seriously and I nodded.
"Yeah, those sick bastards need to be stopped," I agreed and proceeded to discuss a plan to take down the Chritchellites.
Pretty soon, we came to the conclusion that we needed to destroy the orb that was keeping the Woolies powerless and then force the little men to leave, though I had pointed out that the orb must be guarded and decided to do some recon first before making a decision first. Jack and I snuck through the village with the Woolie that guided us to Lazzor and we found ourselves in a bunch of bushes before peering out and saw the massive orb with the old rocket, only we saw many little men at the bottom and they were sleeping and I looked at the Woolie.
"Okay, we're going to destroy that damn thing so stay here and don't make any noise," I instructed quietly before Jack and I got ready.
Jack went first by jumping to a bunch of vines and grabbed onto them, then he pulled himself up and hung upside down with his hands out and gestured for me to jump before I followed his instructions and was swung by him until I went flying at the rocket and grabbed onto it while Jack landed next to me. We proceeded to climb up the rocket while my sharp hearing picked up the electronic humming coming from the orb and we made it about half-way as we jumped across the large spikes during our ascent, though I fumbled and nearly fell a few times since I wasn't used to doing something like this.
Pretty soon, we almost made it to the top when one of the handholds broke as Jack grabbed it and I tensed up when the debris fell, but Jack managed to surprisingly catch it with his feet and I was astonished that he was able to do that before we continued climbing and just about made it to the top, then it all went wrong when the Woolie slipped off the edge of the small pit and landed on a few little men while the others were woken up by the commotion and they aimed their tridents at the Woolie.
I swore under my breath and knew that we had to act fast before it turned ugly as Jack signaled that he had a plan while we quickly made our way down and stood at the bottom as Jack held up a hand.
"Halt beast, there is no escape for we have captured you once and will now see that you never escape again!" Jack declared loudly and the little men cheered while the Woolie looked betrayed, but then I winked at him and he looked confused before realization crossed his face for a second.
Jack pulled out his sword and held it in front of his face until he threw it at the Woolie with expert accuracy, then the sword struck the area that kept the Woolie enslaved before his shackles short-circuited and the Woolie was freed as the sword stuck into the ground until the Woolie stood up on his hind-legs and glared down at the little men.
"We've been tricked, now kill them!" the leader shouted in outrage as he pointed at all three of us and hell broke loose after that.
While the Woolie was busy pummeling the little men that were around him, Jack and I were being surrounded as I punched and kicked any attacker that charged us with Jack disarming one little man and twirling the trident like a staff, causing the little men to pause for a few seconds before they renewed their efforts to kill us. I kept knocking away any attacker that came at me and my eyes widened at how many were starting to swarm us before I looked at Jack and he seemed to realize how much trouble we were about to be in.
"There's too many so we must destroy the orb!" Jack stated urgently as he struck a few attackers with his improvised staff and used it to leap away before landing next to his sword.
Jack pulled the sword out of the ground and lowered it into a combat stance before the little men swarmed him and he started slicing their tridents in half while I disarmed one attacker and kicked another away before sending one across the area like a baseball, then I heard something approaching before I looked to see many Woolies showing up with glares and it distracted most of the little men while Jack and I took the opportunity to jump onto the back of the freed Woolie.
"Hey, we need to destroy the orb if we want to have the upper hand against these fuckers!" I informed the Woolie before he headed to the orb, plowing through any attacker that tried to get in his way and he leaped onto the rocket.
The Woolie started climbing and it got the little men's attention before most of them chased after us while a few swung on vines at us, prompting me and Jack to knock them away but the Woolie got tased by the tridents a couple of times and he groaned in pain while struggling to hold onto the side of the rocket and I gritted my teeth at how bad things were going.
"We are almost there," Jack encouraged and the Woolie looked down at him.
"I-I'm too weak," the Woolie whimpered and I looked down at the approaching little men before I had an idea and felt bad for what I was about to do next as Jack and I grabbed onto the side of the rocket.
I stabbed the Woolie with my claws and he yelped in pain while zooming up until he passed the orb and launched into the air, just before he fell and landed onto the orb as it sparked out of control until the Woolie jumped off before the orb exploded and I was flung into a few vines while Jack leaped down to the ground, then I made my way down as the rest of the Woolies were freed and they all stood up before glaring at the nervous-looking little men.
"S-Stay the fuck back," the leader warned uneasily as he brandished his trident, but one of the Woolies broke it and the leader gulped.
"Your weapons are useless now and this is our home!" one of the Woolies declared and that caused the little men to scream in a panic before they were attacked.
I smiled at the sight of justice being carried out against the slavers while they were getting overwhelmed, forcing the little men to retreat into their ships and they managed to escape into space while the Woolies cheered victoriously, then they proceeded to get into a bow as Jack and I shared a puzzled look but we witnessed Lazzor approach us until he sat down right in front of us.
"We are forever grateful, great warriors, to your deeds done today so if there is anything that you two seek, please honor us by letting us help you," Lazzor offered and Jack bowed his head humbly.
"There is one thing that we quest for," Jack said quietly and I nodded in agreement before I was shown an image of Aku in my mind.
"Yes, I understand so travel north and there, you two will find a magical place that can help you both fulfill your destinies," Lazzor told us and I smiled up at him.
"Thank you for your help and I swear we will stop Aku," I vowed before I turned at the other Woolies and waved goodbye until Jack and I continued on our journey to get back to the past.
A/N Well, Jack and Brad have saved the Woolies and now they are continuing to their next destination to hopefully find a way back to the past or find another lead that could help them, so they have a long road ahead of them filled with many struggles.
So, let me know what you think about this chapter and stay tuned.
