A/N: I OWN NOTHING! I am just borrowing Naoki and Kotoko for my own amusement.
Sorry I have been away for a while. Battling depression and stress has been rough. I have been insanely busy at work and it has destroyed my desire to write. I finally felt the urge to write today, and BAM, new chapter. I hope you guys enjoy the update and hopefully I will have more for you soon! ~Anima

When Naoki woke up the next morning, he reached for the girl that was meant to be beside him, disappointed when he didn't find her. He stretched while looking around his room, trying to figure out where his girlfriend went. 'Guess I should get up and find her,' he mused before getting out of bed and leaving his room. He noticed that her door was open, but the room was empty. After using the restroom, he wandered down the stairs, pausing when the heavenly scent of his girlfriend's coffee permeated the air, forcing a giant grin across his face.
"Good morning, Naoki," he hears her voice before he sees her. When he looked towards her voice, he found her to be walking towards him, coffee cup in hand.
"Good morning, Kotoko," he replied before taking the proffered cup and setting it on the table next to him before pulling her into his arms. He gently pulls her to him, leaning down to press his lips to hers, leisurely kissing her. After a few minutes he pulls back to look at her. "So, for future reference, please don't leave the bed without me again." Seeing her quirked brow, he elaborated. "I would have much rather woken up and pulling you into my arms to kiss you before leaving the warmth of our bed."
"Oh," she squeaks softly. "I will remember that for the future, Naoki…. Not that we can share a bed anytime soon…" Naoki watched as her face fell at her last statement.
"I mean, we could easily share a bed every night if we wanted to," he teased.
"How?" she questioned with a bright grin.
"Telling Oba-sama that we are dating," he responded with a giant grin. "You don't mind being married within the month, right?" Naoki smirked as a mixed look of horror and longing crossed her face, the longing winning as she dazed out into one of her daydreams. As soon as he saw a blush upon her cheeks, he swooped down to press his lips to hers again, sliding his tongue across her bottom lip, smoothly switching to stroking her tongue with his own when she opened her mouth. Hearing her groan, he carefully lifts her and moves over to the couch, sitting down with her in his lap, legs on either side of his thighs.
Naoki nipped her lip when he felt her press her center against his own, soothing the bite with his tongue before pulling back. When the glazed look left her eyes, he spoke. "As much as I would love to continue this, we have school today."
"Oh no!" she cried before jumping off his lap and racing up the stairs to get ready. Naoki started chuckling while he readjusted himself, then stood up to grab his coffee. He strolled back to his room to get ready while consuming the robust liquid.
Setting his empty cup down, Naoki ties his tie and made sure his bag was packed before grabbing his cellphone, wallet, keys, backpack, and the now empty cup to head back down the stairs. He rinsed the mug before running back up the stairs to brush his teeth. As he was finished, his girlfriend walking into the bathroom to brush her own teeth. Naoki moved behind her, pressing her into the sink, and nuzzling her neck. He placed a soft kiss against her pulse point before disengaging from her.
Naoki smiled as she flushed before wandering down to put his shoes on, waiting patiently for the young girl to catch up to him. "Naoki?" he hears her ask as he finishes locking the door behind them, before grabbing her hand to start the trek to school. He looks at her and quirks his brow to prompt her to continue speaking. "Are we hiding at school too?"
"No," he answers quickly and confidently. "My time with you openly is limited as it is. I am not restricting it even more."
"Okay," the girl answers happily. "Naoki?"
"En?" he grunts back at her, squeezing her hand gently.
"Were you serious about telling Oba-sama so we could sleep beside each other?" Naoki paused at the question, flicking his gaze to his beautiful girlfriend.
"I mean, I am serious that she would let us share a bed if she knew," he explains slowly. "I also know we would be married before the month finishes."
"Oh," she replied despondently.
"Why do you ask," Naoki inquires as they began walking again. 'She just seems so sad….'
"I slept really well last night," his normally boisterous girlfriend replies quietly.
"I did too," he assures her. "We have two months left of school," he stopped walking to look at her again while talking. "In that time, I will figure out how I feel. The second I figure it out, I will tell you. If it is the way we seem to be headed, then the next people who find out are our families. We will just insist the Oba-sama cannot marry us until at least the day after we graduate."
"Do you think she will agree with that considering the prediction you have of her reaction?" his red-faced partner asks.
'If she knows what is good for her, she will,' he thinks sinisterly. "Either she accepts, or we elope," he chuckles at her mouth drop. He began walking again so they weren't late before continuing to talk. "Kotoko, the threat of not getting to throw a lavish wedding would keep her in line and force her to listen to us."
"Oh," she giggles at his explanation. "What if you decide you don't want to be with me anymore?"
Naoki stopped abruptly and turned to the forlorn girl. He uses his grip on her hand to pull her into his chest before slanting his mouth across hers. The second he felt her go limp, he pulled back. "That won't happen," he told her firmly, hardening his gaze as she went to protest. "You are literally the only girl I have ever found even remotely interesting. The problem here is whether I am capable of feeling emotions, especially the emotions that are required to keep a relationship going." He leans further into her space and whispers huskily in her ear, "I will never tire of kissing or touch you. I will never tire of you touching me. So don't worry about me leaving you." Naoki smirked when he feels her burrow into his chest, before wrapping his arms around her, one of his hands tunneling into her copper tresses.
"Irie?" His head snapped up hearing his family name. In front of them he saw the majority of Class 3'd students standing dumbfounded at the sight of him holding the smaller girl to him. Wantanabe was the owner of the questioning voice. Slipping his hand out of his girlfriends' hair when she pulled back, he switched to having and arm draped across her shoulders. He smirked when he noticed that even she was staring at him.
"Good morning, Wantanabe," he responded easily. "How was your break?"
"Clearly worse than yours," his best friend replies, his voice sounding mystified.
"Oh," he smirked devilishly as his gaze drifted to his bright red girl. "I can guarantee that."
"What did you do," the other boy asks. "Besides apparently starting a relationship with Aihara."
"Oh you know," he drawled easily as he led his girl over to his friend. "Explored a multitude of new…." he paused, running his hand down the young girls arm slowly before continuing, "planes with Aihara." He had to stifle his laughter when the girl at his side squeaked in response to his words. 'Me exploring the plans of her neck and chest, her exploring the expanse of my back and chest…' Naoki groaned internally at the memory of his mouth attached to her nipple from the night before.
"NAO!" she whined at him. Naoki had to swallow hard at the shortened version of his name coming from her pink lips. He turned a heated gaze on her stunned eyes before she stumbled and started talking again. "I mean Irie-kun…"
"Nope," he growled softly. "You can now only call me Nao outside."
"But," the small girl attempted to protest.
"No," he said sternly, turning so he was facing her fully. He cupped her cheek, oblivious to those around them. "Say it."
"Nao…" she whispered before he swooped down to capture her lips briefly before pulling back.
"Good girl," he murmured, ignoring the shocked gasps and cries of despair around them, delighting at the sight of the red moving down her neck. Naoki leans down to whisper, "I adore the fact that I am the only person to know just how far that red goes." 'I will be the only person to ever know the answer to that question if I have it my way,' he muses.
"NAO!" she whines at him again, causing him to chuckle darkly before standing tall with his arm back around her shoulder.
He couldn't contain his internal laughter at the looks on everyone's faces. 'That's right, you simpletons. SHE IS MINE! Don't you even think of forgetting it.' He noticed that Wantanabe shook himself off, accepting the new dynamic.
"So, am I calling her Aihara-chan or Irie-chan now?" his friend asks him quietly.
Naoki smirked, knowing which way he would prefer to answer that. Thinking quickly, he responds with, "Ask her." He had noticed the wicked gleam in his friends' eyes as he questioned Kotoko on which name she would rather be referred to as, despite the gasps of the girls around them.
"Which would you prefer, Nao?" she asked him quietly, making him smile as a warm feeling swept through him due to her checking with him to see what he was comfortable with first.
"Which do you want?" he asks back, pretty sure he knew the answer.
"Irie-chan," she responded immediately before slapping her hands over her mouth as she turns bright red.
"Irie-chan it is then," he drawls, smiling at her fondly and ruffling her hair gently.
"Really," she asks shocked. Naoki just looked at her with a quirked brow. "Thank you, Nao."
'You really don't understand the lengths I would go to in order to claim you or keep you happy.' He thinks before leaning down to whisper in her ear once more. "What better way to keep stupid boys away from you than for you to be sporting my name?"
"NAO!" she cried again, causing him to burst into laughter.
Naoki checks his watch before walking her through the throng of people to drop her off at her class. He brushes his lips against her temple gently before disengaging. "I will see you at break." Seeing her nod, he makes his way to his own classroom, taking his seat, and arranging the supplies he will need for his first lesson while ignoring the stares around him. 'If they aren't brave enough to ask, I am not going to say anything. Not that it is anyone's business but ours anyways.'
