I finished my own Original Story, it is entirely free and on Wattpad. Check it out, Destiny Rebellions- A Queen's Champion... if you love A Mortal's Might you'll love it. It was inspired heavily by that story and this one. Please check it out and tell me if you love it. I will be publishing it one day, so check it out before I pull it off of Wattpad.

Why are there so few good ocs... especially girl ones... I need to change that. So I did... introducing Din, my badass Female OC with a goal, dream and power that is not born of nepotism... enjoy!

The falling rings of the hammer against the forge made Din smile as always, it was a wonderful sound, one that filled her days with powerful memories. She had earplugs in though, as to not be defeaned by the sound. Sweeping, she made her way around the forge, cleaning up the dust and ash on the floor. She loved her job, simple as it was. It paid well and it had the benefit of helping give her extra experience beyond being a ninja. Ed, her master, was not a kind man but he allowed her to work under the table to gain some extra cash which she needed as an orphan to afford her ninja tools.

"Din!" her master called, making her turn to face him. The man waved her over and she obeyed. "I heard you graduated today, top of your class." She nodded. "It is been three years since you started working here, I've saved half your pay a week since you clean my shop and forge for me since you work under the table for half pay. It would suck to lose that."

She knew what he was getting at, since she had just graduated she no longer needed a part time job to afford her ninja tools. Since she worked under the table, she did not need to get insurance or healthcare nor was her money taxed. Her cheap bastard of a master was able to pay her less than half of what he paid a full employee. She was a good employee too, she only worked after school every other day during the week and six hours a day on Saturday and Sunday except during the summer in which she worked six hours a day every day.

Combined with her orphan pay, she had a lot of money extra and could afford to buy epic things... like a very pretty Tanto she had her eyes on.

"I will be off for a bit, until I see what my genin schedule is. I have made a lot of money, if it wasn't for this job I would never have managed to buy my ninja tools or my training tanto. I would never have managed to buy the scrolls I used to learn kenjutsu. No, I have no intentions of stopping working here, Ed."

The man sighed in relief... "That's good, I doubt I'd be able to afford a full time employee at full pay."

"There is a caveat though." The man frowned. "Do not worry, it is one you'll like... I want you to teach me to forge. You can take half my pay for this training."

Eyes wide, the man asked. "Wouldn't that take away from your ninja training?"

"I will only ask to be trained a few times a week, and the hard work would help maintain my strength. I already use this as a training exercise, what with lifting the metals and weapons around to the shelves." She smiled at him winningly.

"Well, you are a good worker, the best I've had... and you are loyal... fine, I will teach you how to forge." The man finally relented. "For half your pay."

"Wonderful... well anyway, I'm done, I have to go and train. Remember, I graduated today so I have a week off... but first, I need to buy that chakra conducting Tanto I've had my eye on!"

Ten minutes later she was walking away with a foot-long Tanto with a simple black handle. There was no fancy design, the metal was amazing at conducting chakra and was naturally very strong. It was one of the few potent Ninja tools her master sold, he was a cheap bastard and so was popular among the poorer ninja needing ninja tools, most academy students got their supplies from him since he didn't charge too much. However, that also reflected in the quality of his work being far lesser. She knew he was capable though, she had seen him forge amazingly detailed things but since he was so cheap and not famous he could not get access to the higher material restricted to those who had been forging for generations.

She made her way to a distant training field, on the other side of the village, using the rooftops as a means to reach it far quicker. She had three hours of daylight left and would train the entire time, then spend the rest of the time reading. It was this hard regimine that allowed her to graduate as the top kunoichi, just under Sasuke the prodigy and that was without his genetic advantages and have had training with his powerful family for a few years.

Of course, though Sasuke may have been the top student that didn't mean all his grades were perfect. Her replacement was better than his, she was almost certainly a better kenjutsu user than him, her academics were better given her constant studying and she was almost positive that she was physically stronger due to her use of weights. No one knew that she had those weights on, she was up to a hundred pounds currently, combined that was. She wasn't sure how fast she was, having never gone against another person directly but she knew she was pretty fast.

The weights were also a gift she bought herself with her money earned from working for Ed, bought at his shop. They were pretty simple and beige, hiding under her red leg warmers and as pretty black bracelets she had on her arms. No one suspected a thing and that was how she liked it. She had gotten the idea from legends like Chen the Taijtusu master and the Legendary Tsunade and Tobirama Senju. They were her idols! Powerful women were rare, so Tsunade was someone she aspired to be like though unlike her she had to work harder since she lacked clan training, physical advantages, and nepotism on her side. Tobirama was a huge inspiration too with all he did for the village and all the jutsu he mastered, she wanted to become Hokage and serve her village just like he did. She even became a sword user and speed focused fighter because of him. She planned on learning seals because of his legendary Hirashin!

She knew she could do it all... she was smart, she worked hard and she was a self starter. She would become a badass, a legend and that was that. No one could stop her dream... nobody!

And now, as a Genin, she finally had access to higher jutsu and greater knowledge. She didn't expect much from her jonin teacher, favoritism was pretty common for the clan kids. She saw it in her class of mostly clan heirs. Kiba, Choji and Shikamaru were all idiots that never should have graduated, they rarely tried, skipped class and just made embarrassments of themselves and still managed to pass. She knew she had to work twice as hard to prove herself so she did.

She was pretty sure she was chunin level already, or at least pretty close. She was fast, she was strong, she was really smart and her kenjutsu gave her a specialty like clan kids had. She knew that the chunin exams, which really were for people like her since there was no clear path for people to assume for her, so she was waiting to shine there. She had plans three years in the making ever since she started plotting to become a kenjutsu specialist.

Graduating so high up was the first step... well third, after getting a job and training in basic kenjutsu stuff. Those three basic scrolls and that first tanto cost six months pay, giving her two and a half years to train up and manage to get where she was at. She was pretty good too, she was certain that she was at least chunin level in kenjutsu... again that was a guess since she had no one to spar against. It was all hypothesis at this point.

In a week, if she got the chance to spar against her Jonin teacher, she would get the chance to show the world what she could do and see if she was right about her skills. She could not wait...

Her next step was to use her ninja id card, which she would get tomorrow, and sneak in to the library to learn the shushin. With that she would be one step closer to ther dream...

She could almost taste it all... she would be the First Lady Hokage, a powerful figure for all First generation Ninja and Kunoichi to look up to!

She would accomplish it all... and damn it no one would stand in her way!

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
