The students of Ever After were buzzing with new found excitement, well some of them were anyway, while some students were pleased to find out that they were benders others weren't so sure if this new found ability was as good of an idea as they had thought it would be. Though some could argue that not being benders might have had something to do with that train of thought.
"I'm telling you guys that this is just wrong! It's bad enough that our stories are up in the air right now but this…..bending thing is only gonna make things worse." Apple tries to plead with the students much to some of their shared annoyance.
"How wrong could this be Apple? I mean this is a huge opportunity for all of us! After all the bending abilities is something we were born with so how could it be going against anything?" Raven counters back.
"I have to agree with Raven on this one Apple. I mean as an air bender I bet I'll be able to run a lot faster which will come in handy when I have to run from the three bears in my story." Blondie states. "Not that I have too much to worry about that since those bears just love me!"
"And now that I'm a fire bender, my cooking could be brought to the next level think of how creative my show could be because of it." Ginger adds in. "I just can't wait for our first lessons!"
"Just think about how much fun this is gonna be Apple! I mean you saw Andrea's performance when she and her brothers and cousin showed up. Don't you think that would be fun to learn?" Briar asked in a pleading voice.
"I guess…but-" Apple began but was interrupted.
"Why is it that you're even talking about this?! If Apple wants to be stupid and not learn how to use her bending then that's her problem. Personally I think she's just afraid that she'll fail at this just like she has failed at everything else." Rotbart says unnerving Apple to her core.
"I could bend just as well as anyone! And I have not failed at everything!" Apple shrieks back at him.
"Hmmm guess we will just have to wait and see then won't we?" Rotbart says darkly.
While the students were arguing they hadn't notice their new teachers coming up behind them, listening in on their conversation.
"I had hoped that this bending thing wouldn't have been too much of an issue between the students here." Andrea says as she takes note of the conversation.
"Bending always comes with an issue which reminds me, what about the non-bending students should we bring in someone to teach them chi-blocking?" Alex inquires.
"I don't know about that Alex, things can go one of two ways either the non-bending students could become bitter. Or the bending students could use their elemental powers to take advantage of the non-bending students if we don't have chi-blocking to make them think twice about it." Andrea ponders out loud.
"This society is already unfair as it is without putting bending into the equation can we really trust that these students, especially the non-royal students won't use this as some sort of chance at pay back?" Antonio asked.
"Not to mention the fact that there are students here who are straight up villains that now have even more powers because we've told them about having these abilities." Lily adds in.
"There is a backup plan for that though, I just really hope we don't have to end up having to let that come to pass." Andrea said. "For now let's go explain to the students what this bending thing will really mean for them before they get carried away."
The four new teachers moved in closer to the students and try to get their attention but it would seem that the argument between the students is only getting worse.
"And what about us the non-benders here! You guys get to go off and learn some new whatever and the rest of us get nothing!" Faybelle yells clearly very annoyed at the whole thing.
"It's not our fault that we have these abilities! And we have a right to learn how to use them!" Ashlynn yells back.
"And what's gonna stop you guys from…from taking advantage of us non-bender!" Helga Crumbs says waving her hands.
"That would be me!" Andrea says in a loud booming voice. "It's time to lay down some ground rules before everyone here starts to get even more carried away then they already have been."
"That's right if anyone here benders or non- benders believes that we are just going to let you students do whatever you want then you are sadly mistaken." Alex backs up calmly.
"There are going to be some rules starting with rule number one, no bending is allowed outside of your lessons until your teacher has told you that you are allowed to practice it outside of your lessons." Antonio adds in. "Which is basically everyone who have found out they are a bender today, which makes you beginners, which means you don't know how to control your elements right now."
"Unless it is a life or death situation any student caught bending without permission three times in a row will have their bending removed PERMANTLY!" Lily explains at that statement the students gasped in fear.
"You mean our bending can be taken away?" Lizzie nervously asked.
"If it comes to it then yes we will have it removed." Andrea says firmly while nodding her head at the group.
"How long do we have to wait before we are allowed to use our bending outside of lessons?" Raven asked.
"As fast as you can learn and master the basics lessons." Alex answers evenly.
"What do you mean?" Dexter asked confused.
"Being a beginner is not easy and whether you mean to or not you could get hurt or hurt others around you. Because of that we each have ten basic lessons that each student has to learn and master before they can be allowed to use their bending outside of lessons. But not everyone is going to learn at the same pace so don't be surprised if some students get to bend outside of lessons faster than others." Andrea explains.
"How long will it take us to you know master everything?" Daring asked. "And I don't mean just the basics but everything else we have to learn?"
"That could take a few years or longer to master everything." Lily answered honestly.
"What?! No way! Years?" The student were all shouting at the same time.
"Hey calm down ok, it usually takes everyone years to fully master elements and especially since you guys had no idea that you were benders in the first place like us so this is what is gonna happen!" Antonio yells over the students.
"But years! Do we even have that much time?" Blondie asked.
"We will just have to wait and see in the meantime your first lesson begins Monday from 4-6 pm. We will be discussing the rest of the rules then and we've already sent out a notice on your mirror pads and phones to show you where we are going to meet up. Until then enjoy the rest of your day and stay out of trouble." Andrea says as she and her brothers and cousin leaves.
The students stay behind and begin to talk about what had just happened once again.
"So years to master bending how are we even going to do that?" Cerise asked out loud.
"I don't know about everyone else but I know that I'll master the basics easily with fire and I will probably be a master before the year is done." Daring exclaims in a cocky manner.
"Right, let's just wait for the first lesson there Daring." Cerise says while rolling her eyes at him.
"In the meantime let's party! Just give me two hours and I'll have everything set up!" Briar says as she takes off to set up a party for the benders.
"Party sounds like fun! Cerise you want to go with me?" Daring says as the students start walking to their dorms.
"Sure I guess that would be okay." Cerise answers back.
"Raven how about we go together, to you know the party?" Dexter asked as he followed after Raven.
"That would be great Dexter." Raven answer back.
"CUPID! Let's party together yeeaah!" Sparrow sing yells as he follows after Cupid.
"Fine Sparrow just please stop with the guitar-" Cupid says.
"Look at that everyone pair off except the so called fairest of them all!" Rotbart says mockingly to Apple.
"If this is your way of asking me Rotbart then the answer is hext no!" Apple says as she glares at him.
"Ha maybe if you were still evil I would think about it." Rotbart counters back. "You know after a pulled my eyes out so I wouldn't have to look at you, and go deaf so I wouldn't have to hear your whiny voice!"
"Yeah well Rotbart…you're…you're Mean!" Apple said in a huff as she walked away from him.
"Really? Did you figure that out all by yourself?!" Rotbart says continuing to mock Apple as he follows after her.
And that's the end people a little shipping there in the end not a long chapter but a good one please read and review! I love feedback!
