Hey everyone!...Yes I know I am back after I made that dramatic goodbye.

I was dead serious about leaving because the dreaded Miraculous series is more painful than fun...But I missed writing Lukanette and my two awesome friends came to me and encouraged me to return. Not to mention something was just calling me back. It wasn't just my friends but...Something...

Well um, technically this fanfic is different. A solo JuleRose fanfic with some Lukanette in the background to get the Lukanette antis off my property...Because when you read a fanfic by me just assume Luka and Marinette are dating unless I state otherwise.

Plus it's Pride Month so this seems fitting...Anyway, without further ado...

Disclaimer: Miraculous belongs to Thomas Astruc and ZAGToon. This is just a fanfic written by a fan.

Being alone at the Liberty for the evening meant that the kitchen was their oyster. And Rose brought over a fancy pasta recipe.

Juleka boiled the pasta and chanted soft incantations as she waved her spoon around.

Rose washed the vegetables while singing sweet songs. She diced the tomato and chopped the green onion separating the whites and the greens. Then she remembered the zucchini.

"Y'know, I never made zucchini ribbons before," Rose said.

Juleka turned to her girlfriend and saw her looking intently at the zucchini while holding the large knife. Then Rose smiled as she grabbed the green vegetable.

"Oh well, this will be fun to do! I will make the pasta look pretty!" Rose said.

Juleka felt a nervous tingle in her spine, but she returned to the boiling pasta to give the noodles another stir.

Rose felt that peeling a zucchini into ribbons would be like peeling the skin off an apple. But as she tried to slice the green off the zucchini, the knife slipped and graced the tip of her tiny finger.

"Ow!" Rose cried as tears wet her eyes, and she fell to the ground with the knife falling out of her hand.

Juleka immediately gasped, hearing her girlfriend cry in pain, and she was so quick to run to her girlfriend's side that she dropped her spoon and the pot nearly spilled over.

Even if Rose was in searing pain, she could breathe again when she felt Juleka take her hand.

"It hurts so much Jule!" Rose cried.

"Rose!" Juleka cried as she tried to wipe the blood away with a rag.

"This pasta recipe doesn't call for blood!" Juleka cried.

Rose giggled softly while choking out a few tears.

Juleka wasn't a first aid expert. But she realized this was more than just a papercut as scarlet red droplets still escaped the wound. Rose moaned in pain again.

Juleka said one of her healing incantations that made Rose's heart skip a beat, and then without warning, Juleka kissed the wound.

Rose felt her face heat up as her longtime girlfriend made such a bold move. That her girlfriend loved her so much that she would kiss a bloody wound to make the pain go away. With one last kiss, Juleka pulled away, and both girls were silent.

Rose blinked her baby blue eyes when Juleka looked at her again. Juleka smiled in relief that Rose seemed to be doing a bit better.

"Right, the bandage!" Juleka cried as she sprung up.

Rose was still speechless and gently massaged the wound on her finger as Juleka rushed to the cabinet where they kept the bandages.

Juleka dropped a few items while shuffling, but she returned to her girlfriend's side with a bunch of bandages just to be safe.

"Oh my hero!" Rose blushed as she held out her finger.

Juleka blushed as well. "Don't mention it, pretty lady."

Juleka started with a pink bandage that reminded her of her lovely girlfriend. She was ready to cover Rose with more bandages to ease her wound. The couple was so caught up in the moment that they barely noticed the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs.

Regardless Rose took Juleka's hands in hers, brimming with gratitude, and the two of them moved in for a sweet kiss on the lips.

"What happened in here?"

Juleka and Rose broke the kiss to see Luka and Marinette standing before them. Both Luka and Marinette were confused seeing Juleka and Rose kissing on the ground, vegetables scattered on the counter, bandages on the floor, and a pot of water boiling over.

Juleka and Rose told the story about how the pasta they cooked nearly became pasta fit for vampires. Luka and Marinette brushed it off as the usual Juleka and Rose shenanigans.

The evening continued with Marinette skillfully cutting zucchini ribbons while Luka worked on cooking the pasta.

Juleka and Rose sat in front of the TV together. Rose laid against Juleka's chest, and Juleka rested her chin on the top of Rose's head as the two held each other. They both watched a vampire horror together. Juleka couldn't help but lick her lips, thinking the vampires' blood pasta looked strangely delectable.

But as they watched the movie, they heard Marinette and Luka were up to something extra.

The two girls turned and saw that Marinette and Luka were already sharing pasta noodles together even though dinner wasn't ready yet.

Juleka and Rose giggled, and Luka and Marinette promptly returned to the cooking feeling embarrassed.

And a good thing too, because Juleka was becoming fiercely hungry watching vampires eating pasta and blood. She traced an outline on Rose's shoulder, and then while Rose was blissful and unsuspecting, Juleka planted a soft kiss on her neck.

"Oh I could just eat you up Rose!" Juleka cried as she continued to kiss Rose's neck.

"Juleka!" Rose cried as she playfully tried to push her girlfriend away. But Rose truly did enjoy vampire butterfly kisses from Juleka.

Now it was Marinette and Luka's turn to give them coy smiles. But Juleka merely hissed at them and pushed Rose on the couch to continue showering her with vampire kisses.

Because for these two happy couples, dinner wasn't just about good food but also love.

...Actually, I find sharing pasta noodles with someone else to be rather gross...But Luka and Marinette would totally do it!

So, I hope I did decent for my first solo JuleRose fanfic. I honestly wrote this after I "quit" because I was bored...And this is based off a true story of how I was making a pasta recipe that called for pretty zucchini ribbons but I ended up cutting my finger...And that was certainly worse than a papercut!

Ever since I got fired, I have been cooking every night, and it's been fun realizing I have a hobby for cooking...But I certainly can't make zucchini ribbons yet.

Someday, but not today!

So yeah...It feels great to be back...Sort of...I am not looking forward to season 5 and I seriously don't wanna know what happens next I don't think I can emotionally handle it...So I am in the weirdest place where apparently even if I tried to move on to a different fandom I missed writing Lukanette...But I scrubbed my tumblr clean of Miraculous because I don't wanna know what happens!

Another inspiration for this fanfic is The Owl House and oh my gosh! This show is a joy! And unlike Miraculous this show doesn't waste my time! Luz and Amity's relationship develops gradually and doesn't feel forced...It was so delightful!

And this is my first pride month identifying as Pan-Romantic...I am not 100% sure if I also like dating girls but I didn't feel right calling myself hetero-romantic anymore.

Who knows I may write Lukadrien and Kagaminette next...Maybe. As much as I would totally go for a Lukadrien and Kagaminette endgame my heart still belongs to Lukanette and Adrigami.

But yes, I guess I am back again. I will see all of you later and have a nice day!
