The moment she stepped off the transport aircraft, Moy tried hard to contain her excitement. She was a member of the tankery team of the Irish-themed Shamrock School for Girls, and also part of the school's dance club. Her commander, Shannon, had decided that the tankery members should each go on transfer to other schools, to learn about how they do the sport, and maybe make new relations between their schools. Moy deliberately volunteered to go to Coch Draig Academy, a Welsh-themed school, because she heard that, as well as tankery, they also love singing and arts, and rugby (something she didn't know about). She was a bit surprised when no one else joined her decision.

As she walked along the cobbled streets, following a map provided by the transport crew towards the dorms, she took in all her surroundings. Houses with plastered walls, shingled roofs and chimneys, various daffodil and leek gardens, some old-style pubs (similar to the ones at Shamrock she thought), and a large rugby field. She kept staring in wonder at this landscape.

She soon arrived at her dorm where she would be spending the nights during the transfer. She was surprised to see, folded on her bed, was her new Coch Draig uniform. The uniform consisted of a long white shirt, a red sweater vest, a black shoulder cloak, a short black skirt, and black stockings with black strapped heeled shoes next to the bed. She quickly changed into the school uniform, and looking at the room mirror, thought "Wow, this certainly looks prettier than our uniform, I might grow to like it".

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, which made Moy jump and turn. "Who's that? Who else knows this dorm?" she wondered.

She walked over to the door, and when she opened it, there was a girl there, wearing the school uniform. She was about Moy's height, slightly slimmer body, had long reddish-brown hair with a gold headband, and brown eyes.

"Bore da! You must be Moy, am I right?" the girl said with a friendly smile.

Moy gave a confused look, replying "Um yes. Who are you, may I ask?".

"Oh pardon me, I call myself Angharad, but you can call me Harrie for short. I'm the commander for our school's tankery team, "the girl said back, reaching out her hand.

"Nice to meet you," Moy replied, shaking Angharad's hand.

"I've been told about you being transferred here by your team's commander, Shannon I think her name was. So I'm offering to be your guide around our school. How does that sound?" Angharad asked.

"Oh yes please, I am very curious about your school," Moy responded eagerly.

"Right then. Shall we head off?" Angharad walked off with Moy in tow. For most of the day, Angharad showed Moy around and explained the main highlights of the ship. The classic architecture, the gardens (Moy even plucked herself a daffodil and put it on her sweater), a large concert hall (where the school hosts their yearly Eisteddfod), the rugby fields (there were eight fields scattered around the ship), and even the recreation of Pendine Sands. Eventually, Angharad brought Moy to her (and the team's) favourite pub on the ship called The White Hazel, and they both settled down for a drink or two.

"So, what are your first impressions like about our ship?" Angharad asked while sipping a cold one.

Moy thought hard but then said "I think it's grand. Of course, I prefer Shamrock, but this place is still great. I never even knew what rugby was. Also, this pub is nice too. Why is it your favourite?"

Angharad smiled at Moy's question. "It's because it hosts a competition every weekend, to try and correctly pronounce the longest town name in Wales. It's always fun to watch the girls fail at saying it".

"Really? What is the name of this town?" Moy asked curiously.

"It's called.." Angharad started, took a breath and then replied in one blast; "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch."

Moy looked stunned and confused, she even nearly choked on her drink. "Eh? That IS bloody long".

"I know right? Only a true Welshman can say it properly. I only managed to scrape through it here but it's a real kick-in-the-arse most of the time. But that's why the Hazel's competition is so fun!" Angharad gleefully explained. "Say, after this, would you like to see our tanks?"

Moy's face lit up, "Oh yes, definitely. I was curious about what kind of tanks you would have". With that in agreement, the two girls had one or two more beers and then headed over to the tank shed. The shed was a bit larger than Shamrock's shed and it sat next to a large flat field.

Angharad led Moy to the large doors, and with a wink in her eye said "Well Moy, this is where the magic happens."

Moy let out a gasp and an "Ooooh" when the big doors opened, revealing Coch Draig's tank fleet. It consisted of one Churchill MK1 dual-gun heavy, one Valentine MK9 medium, three Vickers MK2 mediums, two A13 MK2 lights, and three Tetrarch lights. Moy had a hard time containing her amazement as she looked at every single tank sitting side-by-side, with Angharad smiling as she watched.

"You like them?" Angharad asked Moy.

"Yes, they're fantastic. I wish our team had this many tanks, we only have six, two of which are tankettes," Moy replied.

"Yeah I've heard, and three were gifts from St Gloriana, which pretty much half of your team hates," noted Angharad. Moy felt a bit embarrassed hearing that fact, but she herself didn't take any sides of that seemingly pointless debacle.

A while later, Angharad was walking Moy back to her dorm, chatting about her experiences that day, and how Shamrock compared to Coch Draig. Then Angharad asked "So I heard that you're part of an Irish Dancing club, is that right?

"Yes, and I love it, although our leader Finn is difficult, to put it lightly. Why do you ask?" Moy responded curiously.

"Well, the school Eisteddfod is happening while you are here. Maybe you could sign up and show off your dancing. The Eisteddfod is all about the arts and any student can sign up, even transfers," Angharad explained. Moy gave a surprised look, showing her skills in Irish step dancing at another school sounded like a good idea, but she was in unfamiliar territory and might embarrass herself.

"I'll have to think about that. It does sound good though." Moy replied. Angharad nodded understandably, then soon, the two reached the dorm.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Harrie. Thank you for the tour around your school," Moy said as she opened her door.

"It was my pleasure Moy, me boyo. I'll see you around soon, I might even introduce my team some time," Angharad happily replied. The two exchanged numbers, gave each other a goodbye hug, and then Angharad left. Moy walked into her room, and immediately plonked onto the bed, thinking about what a day she had and what might await her during her time at Coch Draig.
