Andrea pov

So far working at Ever After High has been great for Andrea. Not only were all the students completely comfortable with her now; they were so comfortable with her that now some students would show up to her office just to gossip more than talk about their problems. And for the past week student after student would show talking about the big Rapple fight and possible break up. Which was another interesting development half the students thought the two were over while the other half believed that it was just a fight that would soon end. But only I know the full truth, the first part maybe over but the next part has only just begun.

Andrea was confident in this not only because of how deeply she knew and understood Rotbart and to a lesser degree Apple. Apple had shown up to her office in tears the next day claiming that Rotbart had professed his love to her but she wasn't sure if she could believe him. Andrea really wished she could confirm to Apple what she already knew but it wasn't her place to say anything, she also reminded Cupid that it wasn't her place either. Poor Apple without a clue from the demi-goddess and with Rotbart disappearing not too long after his confession; caused her to believe that they were broken up a fact she shared with Blondie who shared it with the rest of the school causing male students from all backgrounds to throw themselves at Apple.

Those poor boys never stood a chance. Rotbart may not be showing his face but Andrea knew he was still around enough to be keeping a close watch on Apple because any boy who had so much as flirted with Apple in any shape or form got into a dreadful 'accident' nothing to kill them but it happened enough times that the boys got the message. 'Stay away from Apple White!' And now all I can do is wait for the next step which should start right about-

"Now, I know you want to say it-" Rotbart begins having barged into her office and taking a seat. "It must have been physically killing you to have to wait around but please don't-"

"I-" Andrea begins with a smirk. "Don't you dare!" Rotbart interrupted with a glare. "Told-" Andrea continues ignoring him. "Just let it go so that we can all move on!" "Fine." Andrea says with a sigh pouting a bit.

"Really?" Rotbart asked not believing her for a second.

"Sure." Andrea says although there was still a smirk on her face Rotbart decided to bring her up to speed on why he was here.

"Okay, so here's the thing I want to-" Rotbart begins only to get interrupted by Andrea.

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU?!" Andrea begins ignoring his previous plea. "Didn't I tell?!" Before Rotbart could answer she was talking again. "Cause I TOLD! And when did I tell you?" Again he tries to answer her but is stopped once again. "A long time ago, and what did I say was going to happen when I told you?" By this time he had given up and decided to wait until she was done. "Exactly what just happened!"

"Are you done?" Rotbart asked completely defeated.

"Maybe." Andrea says plainly but then lets out a sigh of her own. "Seriously Darkest this is just as out of control as it is cliché which as I stated before was GONNA HAPPEN!"

"Yeah I know but there was nothing I could do." Rotbart admits to the older girl. "Who could predict that I would actually fall in love with her?"

"I did, when I told you weeks ago that this was going to happen." Andrea says shaking her head at him. "I guess the good news is that you've accepted that you do love her if you are saying it so freely."

"Now I just have to convince Apple that these feelings are real, which is going to be hard since my sister has been blocking me at every turn." Rotbart explained to her.

"Can't be blocking you that badly every guy that flirts with Apple suddenly gets…how should I put this 'Taken care of'which brings me to my next question. How are you pulling that off?" Andrea asked that was the one thing that baffled everyone they never saw him but everyone knew he did it.

"Before I went away to….meditate I may have gotten a snow white owl to look after her while I was away so that…undesirables wouldn't get the wrong idea." Rotbart answered mischievously.

All Andrea could do was stare blankly at the young villain sitting across from her. "Of course the one who takes villainy and magic to the next level would also take stalking to the next level."

"It's not stalking!" Rotbart tried to argue but Andrea just continues to give him a blank stare. "I prefer to see it as… stealthy surveillance."

"Hmm stealthy surveillance that's new." Andrea says sarcastically. "But if it looks like an owl and hoots like an owl than it's stalking!"

"I'm not here to talk about that. I'm going to need help getting Apple to forgive me." Rotbart proclaimed evenly.

"You know I have a cousin here whose job it is to handle this sort of thing right?" Andrea asked him giving him a confused look. "Because as I've said to you and other students I'm the daughter of Hades!"

"I'm not going to Cupid with this we both know that so I guess you'll have to help me come up with ideas." Rotbart explained in a matter of fact manner.

"Well if I were Apple I'd want to see you on your knees begging like a dog." Andrea exclaims happily. "At least that's what I made Herakles do whenever he made me angry."

"And you forgave him?" Rotbart asked for a moment actually considering it.

"Oh no, I didn't but Apple might she's much more forgiving then I am." Andrea finished explaining. "A public display would be fun to watch you do though."

"Fun for you maybe but I refuse to humiliate myself." Rotbart states rolling his eyes.

"But that's the next step in this romantic comedy cliché!" Andrea says checking off an invisible checklist. "See first you two were enemies, then one of you had a life changing moment of realization that the other refused to believe. Then in an attempt to prove to the other that the life changing moment wasn't real you came up with a stupid plan. Then the stupid plan backfired and you realized your feelings are real, now we have come to the part where you perform a lovely but equally humiliating act that will get Apple to forgive you. Fast-forward to an odd number of years where you marry Apple White and I tell everyone this story to prove that you can be just as stupid as everyone else. End of romantic comedy cliché and then the credits roll in!"

"This is not a movie Andrea. THIS IS REAL LIFE!" Rotbart is now standing up to yelling at her.

"And yet here we are!" Andrea states yelling back at him. "You reap what you sew!"

"There is another way and if you won't help me I'll find someone else that will." Rotbart states moving to leave.

"Who's gonna help you everyone hates you but me?" Andrea questions him as he leaves but he doesn't answer her.

Rotbart pov

If there was one thing that Rotbart hated more than anything it was losing someone he loved and cared about. This of course stem from a fear he gained at an early age, he used to believe that his father would always be there only to later end up watching him die at age five. He had then believed that his mother despite being the Evil Queen would step up and be there for him, but her focus was on Raven not him and taking over as many worlds as she could. Not that I could be mad at mother for being a career woman. From then on out Rotbart tried as hard as he could not to ever be attached to someone again and it worked for the most part.

But this time was different the joy and pain that came from realizing he loved Apple and might lose her felt far stronger then when he lost his father. He really wanted to talk to her, but his sister had casted a spell that would force him to move ten feet back whenever Apple was nearby. Which was why he had an owl watching over his beloved instead of doing it himself. I can't believe I think of Apple White as my beloved a week ago I would have swanned anyone who said that to me.

Despite the new security measures his sister made there were two students that he needed to be able to speak with that might help him out with his plan. He just needed to find them, luckily though nowadays it wouldn't be that hard.

"Watch were you're going Hood!" Ramona Badwolf growled at her sister after purposely bumping into her in the hallway.

"You watch it Dog!" Cerise growled back as the crowd watched on and Daring held her back.

"Just be on your way Badwolf." Daring orders with a fixed glare on Cerise's older sister.

"And what are you gonna do about it Charming?" Ramona challenged with a smirk.

"As a Charming Prince I would never do anything to harm a lady." Daring states causing Ramona's smirk to grow larger. "Even if that lady is really just a Dog!" The crowed o's at that last comment.

"Why you little-" Ramona growls and moves to take a swap at Daring only for Mr. Badwolf to come out of his classroom.

"No fighting in the halls!" Mr. Badwolf states in a loud huff. "Or I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow you all to class!" Mr. Badwolf actually does blow the other students away leaving only Cerise, Daring and Ramona in the hall the three of them having learned not to get blown away. "Do you girls really have to fight every day?"

"She started!" The two sisters exclaimed pointing to the other.

"Daring?" Mr. Badwolf asked knowing that the prince would tell the truth.

"Ramona started it." Daring stated plainly earning a glare from the older girl.

"Please, you're only saying that because Cerise is your girlfriend Charming!" Ramona states in a huff rolling her eyes and messing up his crown and hair.

"I'm only stating it because I saw you purposely bump into Cerise! Just like last week when I saw Cerise stick out her leg so that you would trip during track." Daring states fixing a glare at the older girl as he straightens himself out.

"Yeah whatever after." Ramona says with a pout walking away.

Rotbart watched on as this scene played out, during the time that Daring had become Cerise's boyfriend Rotbart had his suspicions that the prince was in on the family secret and this just confirmed it. He waited until Cerise and Daring were alone of course so that he could speak with the couple and after watching them go back and forth it was finally safe for him to come out.

"What are you doing here?" Daring asked with a growl glaring at the would be villain like many of his fellow students he had not been happy with what Rotbart had done to Apple.

"Growling is such an unbecoming behavior for a Prince Charming." Rotbart states with a smirk fixing a glare back at the prince. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were spending too much time with bad wolfs."

"Big bad talk coming from someone who's hiding from his little sister!" Daring barked back.

"Right now wolfs are the least of your problem isn't that right Von Schwarz?" Cerise added in with her on smirk.

"Why aren't you your father's daughter all over?" Rotbart says mockingly turning to smirk back at Cerise.

"What do you want?" Daring questions forcefully getting in between his girlfriend and Rotbart.

"As much as it pains me to admit this but I require some assistance and you are the only one capable of doing this for me?" Rotbart lets out with distain much to the surprise of the couple.

"And what do you need my help with?" Daring asked suspiciously eyeing the villain carefully.

"I need to…apologize to Apple for my behavior and as you are her former prince and have known Apple personally for a number of years I figured you'd be the ideal person to speak with." Rotbart explains as coolly as possible.

"And what makes you think that I would help you?" Daring asked still suspicious and he was right to question the other male. Though they never really fought each other there has also never been a good reason for the two of them to get along let alone help each other either.

"Because despite everything you still care about Apple as a friend." Rotbart says coolly. "And you'd hate seeing her upset."

"Even if I wanted to help you it wouldn't do you any good. Raven told everyone about the spell she put on Apple to keep you away from her." Daring explains with smirk as he and Cerise walked away from Rotbart. "So really I'm afraid there is nothing that I can do."

"My sister's spell may be powerful but that doesn't mean it can't be cracked." Rotbart replies after them causing them to pause as he makes his leave.

And with that the seed had been planted, Rotbart knew that Cerise being a fast runner and also a loyal friend would run to tell Raven about her encounter with the other girl's brother. Rotbart also knew that this would cause Raven to worry and look for a stronger spell before Rotbart cracked her previous one not knowing that the week he was away was spent learning how to crack her spell. And since Apple had a free period Raven would also talk Apple into staying in the dorm room during the free period and put a locking spell on all the doors and windows. Not of course remembering in her panic that Rotbart knew every counter locking spell.

Rotbart would only admit this to himself but this really was starting to get pretty cliché, here he was waiting outside of Apple's window so that he can make his move a scene that has been played out in so many fairy tales.

Apple pov

This had been a tough week for Apple White maybe even tougher than when she was helping the Evil Queen hide out as a regular student. And that was not an easy task! Starting from the fight she had with Rotbart in the hallway to his declaration of love just a few hours later was just too much to handle all at once. On top of that he disappeared not to long after making things fairy confusing. She wanted to be mad and she was sometimes when she thought about all that effort, she made only for Rotbart to act completely unreasonable.

But at the same time the things Rotbart did after he confessed his love kind of made Apple very happy. She didn't think it was nice of him to scare all the boys away from her but at the same time didn't it prove that he wasn't lying about how he felt? She knew from researching his story that his ancestors were very jealous people and when it came to love they became completely unreasonably jealous at any potential suitors that interfered with their love. Knowing that Rotbart did at least care enough to get jealous made Apple's heart flutter despite everything.

She just wish she could decide whether or not she really wanted to talk to him. A decision that was currently being decided for her by her friend. Raven wasn't about to forgive her brother for this and she let everyone know. So when Cerise ran over to them and explained what happened Raven went into a full panic fairly quickly Apple didn't have time to even register what happened before she was locked up in their dorm room. Now that she was all alone with nothing but her thoughts everything just seemed to be coming back again leaving her angry, hopeful, sad, and doubtful but mostly overall confused.

She'd been so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the window opening up as she sat on her bed. "Apple?" a whisper was heard breaking the silence.

"R-Rotbart?" Apple gasped in surprise as she turned to look at the window. "What are you doing you can't be here?!"

"But I missed you." Rotbart says in a surprisingly gentle voice that Apple had never heard him use. "You didn't think I would stay away for too long did you?"

"You don't get to say that! After everything that you've put me through!" Apple yelled glaring at the boy getting angry. "You lied to me and now you think you can make it better by claiming that-that-"

"I love you Apple really." Rotbart states trying to move closer to her only to get blocked by a magically barrier. "And I'm really sorry."

"Why should I believe anything you say?" Apple countered back still glaring at him only to gasp in surprise again when she saw him break the spell that Raven put up.

"I know that I have a lot to make up for." Rotbart begins to explain walking towards the princess and wrapping his arms around her. "I know that it will take time…for you to trust me."

"I don't think I can ever trust you after what happen." Apple says sadly turning away from him. "Do you even realize how badly you hurt me?"

"I'll never be able to say how sorry I am." Rotbart begins to explain wrapping his arms around her from behind pulling her closer and taking in her scent he surprisingly really missed her scent. "But whatever you want me to do I'll do as long as it proves to you that I'm telling the truth."

"You'll do anything?" Apple asked with cation not really melting into the embrace but not really pulling away either.

"Yes Apple anything you want." Rotbart insisted not seeing the small smirk play out on Apple's face. "No matter what it is."

"Well there is the…no you wouldn't do it." Apple said softly almost sadly turning her head away from him.

"Apple Core I promised you anything you want I'll do." Rotbart insisted again wrapping his arms around her more tightly.

"Well the new semester is going to start in two weeks…and I hear that the Heroics and Good Kingdom Management classes are still opened." Apple offers as nonchalantly as possible.

"But I don't like-" Rotbart begins to response only to pause mid-sentence so that he can turn Apple making them finally face each other. "You're blackmailing me?!"

"You promised me anything Rotbart and you've known for a while now how much I've wanted you to take more princely kinds of classes sooo-" Apple continues with an almost pleading voice.

"You are blackmailing me!" Rotbart says in delight and even a bit turned on. "I love you so much right now." He really did and he couldn't resist kissing her just as passionately as the last time he saw her.

And that's the end of that chapter I hope everyone liked it. Please read and review!
