In one form or another, this story has been in my mind...

Damien had no idea how he ended up on a bus, the last thing he remembered was talking to his sisters, the Fates. He had been bothering them for months, pestering them for help and then boom he was...

'Did they send me here?' Panic suddenly set in. 'My divine power, I can barely feel it... at all. I can feel something, but it's faint... Father and Mother are going to kill me.' He laughed internally. 'Like they'd even notice, bastards that they are, they only care about their high born children and themselves! If this works, then maybe I will owe my sisters big time... as it is, if they gave me a chance to be more than a mere servant to my idiotic Olympic siblings, then they deserve something really nice.'

Realizing he needed to focus on the world around him, he turned around and saw a handsome boy that looked damn near identical to Posiden, another boy with pieces of sandwiches in his air and a lot of other kids about his age. Turning, he saw a girl, ugly as Medusa, throwing pieces of said sandwich at the other boy's head.

Anger filled him, it reminded him of what Ares would have done to him, like had done to him frequently. "Knock it off!" He growled and the girl turned to sneer at him.

"You can't tell me what to do, Damien, your just the weird new kid!"

He felt power filling his chest, a different flavor than his divine power of old, before he had been rendered a demigod. It was a charged power, tasting similar to Aphrodite and Ares' combined powers. "ENOUGH!" He said, his tone rippling like a wave of power that slammed into the girl with enough force that her eyes went wide. She almost seemed to feel it and so turned away, her body entering a state of sheer calm.

Smirking, he turned to the boy she was hurting and he was wide eyed. "Hi, I'm Damien, nice to meet you."

The Posiden look-alike turned to him, beaming. "Thanks, I'm Percy Jackson. Nice to meet you. This is Grover."

"Same." The boy before him was adorable. "I have no friends, I am too new here, can I adopt you two?"

The boy smirked. "Adopt?"

He just shrugged, unlike his family he never saw Demigods ( which the boy clearly was) as lesser. Maybe it was because he was born a servant, without even a domain, but just didn't see them as anything but family. "Yes, adopt, you both seem nice. Besides, you look just like my Uncle, It is hard to not adopt you."

"Really?"

"Yup, just like him. It's odd." He smiled, then turned to Grover, who was still panicky. "You okay, you look freaked out?"

The boy cringed. "I'm fine. Um... where are you from, Damien?"

"New York, Sort of. My parents are Greek, pure Greek." He smirked and realized that Grover was a Saytr, his aura tasted of it. Earthy and woody with a hint of animalistic energy. 'Wonder why I can feel auras still, I am not a god in this form, what powers did I retain? I need to be sure, less I am killed by a monster who hates my monstrous parents.' Turning to Percy, he sensed the Sea and Freshwater, the power of Posiden and something distant in waves. A vast pressure that shook the earth, the boy would be a monstrously powerful force. Turning he asked Percy. "I forgot where were going, the whole being a new student thing is kind of nerve wracking, you know?"

Percy nodded. "I get that... okay, we are going to a Museum and Mr. Brunner our Latin Teacher is leading everything. Oh and be careful around Ms. Dodds, she is a monster! She'll put you into detention for breathing wrong."

'Sounds like Dionysius or Ares... or Aphrodite wherever she is pissy.' Frowning, he turned to where the boy was pointing and his eyes were wide. 'That is Chiron, don't recognize the woman, but she is oozing dark power, Underworld power... I will have to be very, very careful.'

And so Damien, the young ex-god, got back in his seat and waited to go to this museum, deciding that his first task was to protect Percy. The boy seemed nice and if nothing else, protecting a demigod was a good start to proving his was worthy of more than being a mere servant to his monstrous Olympic Family.
