A/N I'm sorry if everyone is not quite in character. I started watching Code Geass (out of order) This is a sick LelouchxSuzaku fic. Please enjoy.

Lelouch woke to the sounds of the storm raging outside glanced over at the alarm clock, ignoring the faint discomfort in his abdomen and the heavy fatigue that had settled over him. He was glad it was Friday, giving him the next two days off. He was about to close his eyes, allowing himself to take full advantage of the half-hour that was left before he forced himself to get ready for school when he heard the soft sound of his bedroom door opening.

Suzaku stepped inside quietly, closing the door behind him and walking over to the bed. Lelouch felt the side of the bed sink as Suzaku joined him.

"You're up early." The brown-haired teen commented, pulling the cover over himself and settling into the pillows. "I'm sorry if I woke you, I was trying to-"

"Sneak into my room? Closed doors usually have a purpose, you know. What if I'd been-"Lelouch teased. Suzaku scoffed.

"So now it's just your room? Here's the thing about sharing a bed, Lelouch, you kind of have to share the room too. Unless you change the sleeping arrangements, I'll be right over here. You and I both know it's not going to happen. You'd miss me too much." Lelouch shook his head.

"You wish I'd miss you."He retorted, earning a chuckle from the other teen.

"You wish you wouldn't. Just admit it. Who wouldn't want to wake up to this-" Suzaku was interrupted by one of Lelouch's pillows coming in contact with his face.

"Conceited jerk."

"Me? Have you seen yourself lately?" Suzaku asked playfully. Lelouch said nothing. Instead, he turned on his side, facing away from him. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Fine. I have less than thirty minutes before I have to get up, I'm tired, and I plan to go back to sleep. I have a lot to get done today, and I'll need-"He felt Suzaku's hand resting on his side.

"You'll tell me, won't you? I mean, if something's wrong?"

"Can you stop being so suspicious of everything?"Lelouch muttered.

"Sure, Lu. When you stop giving me a reason to be."Lelouch shifted onto his back, glaring at his friend.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Suzaku's forest-green eyes met his partner's violet orbs.

"It means I worry about you. What you say and what's happening are usually two different things. Lately, you've been a little distant, and even Nunnally-" Suzaku sighed heavily. "We love you, Lu. Sometimes you hide things from us. I want you to know that I'd do anything in the world for you two."

"I know. We love you too." Lelouch lightly pressed his lips to Suzaku's forehead before sliding out of their bed.

"I thought you were going to go back to sleep," Suzaku said, propping himself up on his elbow as he watched the dark-haired teen move to the closet and select his school uniform.

"That was the plan until someone wouldn't stop talking."Lelouch shot a sideways glare at his friend. "I'm up now. I might as well get ready for the day. It's probably for the best. I've got meetings and classes. Nunnally-"

"You should come back and lie down with me. When was the last time we took the time to slow down and enjoy each other's company?"

"Been a while, I guess." the young prince said, taking note of the slowly increasing discomfort in his abdomen. "If you don't mind, I'd like to get dressed."Lelouch didn't bother turning to Suzaku as he spoke. He instinctively rested a hand on his belly.

"I don't mind at all, "Suzaku replied, smirking. Lelouch shook his head.

"Do I really need to spell this out for you? the prince carried his outfit over to the bed, laying it out neatly.

"It's not like I haven't seen-" the prince launched the pillow once more at Suzaku. This time, however, the teen caught it. He lightly tossed the object back into place and raised his hands submissively.

"Alright, I'll go. I just miss you most of the day. It'd be nice to wind down a little and talk or something." Lelouch knew he was right. It had been difficult for the pair.

"Is school the only thing you have today?" the prince inquired.

"Aside from the council meeting, that's it," Suzaku confirmed. "Maybe we can do something tomorrow?"

"Maybe, "Lelouch said softly. He watched his friend reach out for the door. "Hey, Suzaku?" He called out, causing his partner to turn.

"Yeah?"Lelouch picked up his outfit, carrying it over to the chair near the desk, and draped it over the back. He crossed the short distance to his love, embracing him and resting his head on his shoulder.

"I guess a few minutes wouldn't make a huge difference. We've got about ten minutes before Nunally's up for breakfast. It's not much, but if you want, you can stay." Suzaku smiled, wrapping his arms around Lelouch.

"I'd like that."He replied. After a moment, Lelouch began to pull away. Suzaku reached out to brush back a strand of black hair from his face.
"Are you feeling okay? You're a little warmer than usual."

"It's fine." Lelouch insisted. Suzaku, however, shot him a skeptical look.

"Lu-"

"I'd rather not spend the little time we have fighting about this. I'm fine."

"Promise me," Suzaku said sternly. "I want you to promise me right now. If you feel sick at all, you'll tell me. Tell me you'll slow down. Nunnally and I love you so much. It's okay to need a break once in a while."

"I don't need a break. I'm fine."Suzaku guided him over to the bed, where the pair sat down next to each other.

"What are the chances of me talking you out of the council meeting today and leaving a little early?"Suzaku asked.

"Probably not great. Did you have a plan for the afternoon?"Suzaku kissed Lelouch's head lightly.

"I can think of a couple of things for us to do depending on how you're feeling. At least think about it?"

"I'll think about it. What are you planning for us exactly?"Suzaku grinned mischievously.

"You'll see. I don't want to ruin anything and I need to know you're feeling okay first. Just know that you won't be disappointed."
