It had been a week since the incident with Ultron, a week since Steve "almost" pick up Thor's hammer.
Amelia Stark, Tony's daughter, had been invited to that party and saw it too. It was no secret to anyone (Except Amelia and Steve) that they had feelings for each other.
- "Dad"- The young blonde girl said walking into Tony's lab – "Can I ask you a question?"
- "You just did"-He teased her with his characteristic sarcastic voice
- "Very funny"-Amelia said sticking her tongue at her father
- "I know, I'm hilarious" – Tony said mimicking his daughter's actions – "what's up?" -He added encouraging her to ask
- "Do you remember when you guys were trying to pick Thor's hammer? Whatever its name is"- She started. She did know the hammer was named Mjolnir, but since Odin-son had broken Jane's heart, Amelia wasn't very founded of him. You see, the two young ladies had been friends since childhood.
- "Mhmm" -Tony said without lifting his eyes from the engine he was working on
- "I think Steve might've moved the hammer a little bit"- Amelia whispered, something about that felt like a secret that needed to be protected
Tony smiled but didn't look at his daughter right away. He could feel her anxiously shifting her weight from one leg to the other
- "Don't you think?"-She added playing with her hair
- "Mmm" – Stark looked at his daughter –"He didn't moved it "a little bit"" -He said gesturing air quotes
- "Oh, maybe I imagined it "-Amelia felt her cheeks flushed
- "I wasn't finished kiddo"- Tony smirked at her– "He was ready to lift it, but probably decided not to"
- "Why would he do that?" -Amelia asked her father
- "The same reason why he is able to pick up the hammer in the first place"- Tony responded going back to engine
- "He is worthy?" – Iron-daughter said
- "No, well…I guess yes" -Tony responded – "But also, he is a good man. Probably Cap didn't want to brag"
Amelia didn't say anything but smile softly. Steve was out of this world
- "Excuse me young lady, I didn't say you could have a crush on him" – Tony said dramatically taking a hand to his heart.
- "OMG DAD. It is NOTHING like that" – Amelia said. Her face was as red as a tomato
- "Yeah right, right. I forgot"- Tony said laughing – "He is just a "Very good friend""
