Jada stood in the hallway outside of gorilla. She was jumping up and down, making sure to stay warm. Her match was up next right after Roman and Seth were done brawling around the ring. They had opened Raw, and their old feud was being fueled again.

She cracked her head from side to side. Her long, medium brown hair was put up in a high ponytail that whipped from side to side. Some men walked past her. Triple H and Michael Hayes were escorting a third man hidden under a black hoodie.

She stopped jumping and stared at the hooded figure. Her eyes almost burned a hole through the stranger. She knew a surprise was coming with how he was being escorted and hidden. He turned his head slightly as if he wanted to look back at her, but he decided against it at the final moment. He turned into gorilla and she was left feeling breathless. It looked too much like him.

"He wouldn't," she whispered.

Deep inside she knew it was him despite not wanting to believe it. She couldn't run from reality when his music started playing seconds later.

"Oh my god!" Corey screamed. "He's back! Dean Ambrose is back!"

Dean ran down the ramp and slid under the rope. He stood up, kicked Seth in the stomach, and hit him with a dirty deeds. Roman grinned at Dean and walked towards him as if he thought his old friend was back for him. Dean grinned too but then hit Roman with a kick and dirty deeds as well. Both men were down and Dean stood tall, taking in the cheers from the audience.

The show cut to commercial and reality came rolling in. Dean was back. Her ex boyfriend was back and no one had told her. She couldn't let anyone know how upset she was. She still had a show to do. She walked out in gorilla and waited for commercial to end. Roman came walking out first. He walked over to her and placed a hand on her upper arm. He looked concerned and apologetic.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked lowly.
"I didn't know until minutes before the show started. They kept it secret from everyone. There was no time to track you down and tell you," he said.
"You could have texted!" She hissed.

She knew it wasn't fair. Minutes before the show started he would already have been standing in gorilla without his phone on him. Seth came walking out, followed by Dean seconds later. Roman leaned down and hugged Jada to shield her as much as he could while Dean walked past her.

"Stay strong," Roman whispered. "Go out there and kick ass."
"And we're back!" Triple H said loudly.

Roman released Jada from the hug. Her music started and she walked down to the ring. Dean stayed in the hallway, watching on a monitor. Jada was facing Rhea Ripley. He could see she was upset and he knew it was because of him. She slipped on the middle rope when she jumped up to do her corkscrew crossbody.

"Fuck!" He muttered. "Come on, killer."

She landed on the apron and the audience started their "You screwed up" chant. She didn't deserve it. He was to blame. He watched as she knocked her fists down on the apron. A fire was lit in her eyes. She properly pictured him when she got up and jumped on Rhea with the thesz press. The rest of the match went on as it was supposed to. Rhea came out victorious.

Dean stood waiting up against the wall when Jada came walking back minutes later. How he had missed those bottle green eyes that always seemed to swallow him hole. She couldn't hide her emotions. She was hurting because of him.

"Hi, killer," he said.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"I'm back," he answered.
"You could have told me," she said.
"I wasn't allowed to tell anyone. You know how the wrestling world works," he said.
"You're not welcome here," she said.
"I got a 3 years contract stating otherwise," he said.

He pushed himself off the wall. She crossed her arms. Clearly she wasn't about to let him back in, and he couldn't blame her for that.

"How have you been?" He asked.
"I'm fine," she answered.
"So am I," he said.
"I didn't ask," she said.
"Are we really gonna do this dance right now?" He asked. "Let me take you out for a late night snack or coffee, and we can talk."
"I'm not interested," she said.
"Really?" He smirked. "Because I recall a time where you..."
"Fuck you!" She cut him off.
"I was getting to that part," he kept smirking. "I'm open for that again if you want to."

She shook her head no and raised both middle fingers.

"Fuck you and fuck off," she said.

He grinned at her. She walked past him and continued down the hall without looking back. Once he couldn't see her anymore, he went to the men's locker room. Roman and Seth had both showered and were getting dressed.

"Triple threat, boys," Dean said. "The fans are gonna love it."

Roman and Seth shared a look but didn't say anything.

"Really? You're gonna ignore me?" Dean asked.
"Like you've been ignoring us the past three years?" Seth asked.
"I guess I deserved that," Dean sighed. "Look, I was fucked up. I was depressed and I didn't think straight. I thought it was the right thing to do to leave and cut ties with everyone. I know how wrong I was and I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive me one day."

Roman and Seth shared another look. Roman was the first one to act. He pulled Dean in for a hug. Seth hugged him right after.

"We forgive you, asshole," Roman said.
"Thank fuck," Dean said.
"So what happens now?" Roman asked.
"We tear each other apart like we've done before," Dean said.
"I don't mean with us and you know that," Roman said.

Dean sighed and nodded. He had walked away from everyone back then, including his own girlfriend Jada.

"I tried talking with her after her match," Dean said.
"You can't expect her to forgive you for leaving her like that," Seth said.
"I know that. I just want to explain myself and maybe become friends with her," Dean said.
"You hurt her really bad," Seth said.
"I know. I fucked up. I hurt the one person I wanna spend my life with. I'm not gonna give up. Maybe she can forgive me eventually, and maybe we can even get a second chance. I know it'll take time but there is a chance, right?" Dean asked.

Roman and Seth shared a third look. One that was different from the two first looks.

"What?" Dean asked.
"She has a boyfriend," Seth answered.
"What? Who? And why the fuck haven't I heard anything about it?" Dean raised his voice. "No, you're lying. I checked her wikipedia before I got here. It says nothing about her being in a relationship since me."
"They've kept it out of the public. You know she's just as private as you," Roman said.
"And so is Brock," Seth said.
"Brock?" Dean yelled. "She's dating dumb lunchbox face Brock Lesnar?"

Roman and Seth didn't need to answer that. Dean could see it in their faces. He stormed out of the locker room and ran down the hall. Brock always had his own locker room in the back away from everyone else. It was time to pay Brock a visit. He froze outside of the door. He could hear Jada crying and Brock's angry voice. He couldn't make out what Brock was saying. It didn't matter. What mattered was the Jada was crying. Dean opened the door without knocking and stared at the horrific scene. Jada sitting against the wall, curled up, trying to protect herself from Brock's fists that hit her arms. Brock was smart enough to not leave bruises on her face. Her body could be covered up in the ring. It made sense to Dean now why Jada had begun wrestling in pants and long sleeves over the last few months.

"What the fuck is going on?" Dean yelled. "Get off her!"

Dean ran towards them and smashed his knee into Brock's ribs. Brock wheezed for air but sent a punch into Dean's shoulder that made him take a few steps back. He went forward again but was surprised at how fast Jada jumped up and placed herself in between them.

"Don't!" Jada snapped.
"I'm gonna fucking kill you!" Dean yelled.
"I'd like to see you try, boy," Brock challenged.

Dean wanted to jump Brock but Jada placed her hands on his chest. He hadn't felt her touch in three long years. He turned his eyes down to her, and her eyes were pleading for him not to go any further.

"Jada," he whispered.
"Out!" She barked.

She pushed him in the chest and he walked backwards. His hope was that she would follow him out of the door but she stopped once he was out in the hall again. He looked over her to see Brock smirk at him before the man retreated to the small bathroom combined with his locker room. Once Brock closed the door behind him, Dean looked at Jada again.

"Some new boyfriend you got there," he said.
"Yeah, well, you didn't stick around, did you?" She asked.

She slammed the door in his face and locked it. He grabbed the handle but the door didn't open. He leaned his ear on the door but he couldn't hear anything. On the other side of the door, she walked out in the bathroom to join Brock. He looked anything but pleased.

"You didn't tell me he was coming back," he said.
"I didn't know," she said.
"I don't believe you!" He growled.
"Ask Vince," she said. "I didn't know, Brock. I would have told you if I knew. I would never lie to you."

He placed his hands on her cheeks and squeezed. He put enough pressure on them to make sure she knew what could happen if she lied, but not enough pressure to actually hurt her.

"No, you wouldn't lie," he smiled evilly. "Because you know what will happen if you do, right?"

She faked a smile and nodded. She knew. He leaned down, kissed her, and backed her up to the sink. She ran her hand over his crotch, hoping to distract him enough for the night by giving him what he wanted and pretend everything was fine.
