Walking by Your Side
Aang and Katara walked trough the streets of Ba Sing Se, hand in hand. It was so nice to walk out in the open without looking over their shoulder for anyone trying to capture them or fight them. Not to mention getting to see how the City of Walls had managed to recover over the past few years following the War.
Katara looked towards Aang. She had a hard time believing that he's taller than her now. But that gave the waterbender the opportunity to do this.
She looped her hand trough Aang's, sliding it down to intertwine their finger's again as her other hand came to rest on Aang's forearm. Then she stepped closer and leaned her head on his shoulder.
Aang chuckled as Katara's hair tickled him, "What is it?"
"Nothing. I just felt like being close to you that's all." Katara glanced up for a moment before returning her eyes forward, just missing the way Aang blushed. Even after years of dating he was still so easily flustered by Katara.
"Well... I like being close to you too. It's nice." He tripped over his words a little, which only added to his adorableness.
Katara hummed contently, "It's the best."
