Casey and Chuck entered the building, breaking a lock on a side door. They made their way inside, following the walls in the long hallway. When they heard footsteps coming their way, they lowered their guns, not wanting to make too much noise right away. The minute the three men appeared, Casey grabbed the first one by the neck and twisted it in one motion. The body felt to the floor before he attacked the second one, kicking him in the stomach. He was surprised but replied, hitting Casey straight in the jaw. Chuck punched the third one as his intersect's skill kicked in and helped him win over his opponent. Once Chuck was done with his bag guy, he helped Casey, hitting the man behind the head.

They pulled the bodies into an open door leader to a closet before they kept going further inside the building. They heard voices and headed toward this direction. In front of a close door, two men were standing guard. From behind a doorframe, Casey shot both men using his amazing sniper's skills. They felt motionless on the ground.

As he didn't know how many more men would be inside, Casey called the SWAT team to get there. They would benefit from a little bit of back up since it seemed they made their way into the nest of the bad guys.

In a room at the opposite end of the hallway, Sarah was tied to a chair as Snake made his way toward her.

"You are hard to follow, should I call you Spencer? Or Snake?" Sarah spat.

"So you do know who I am. You almost ruined my plan and I have to figure out what to do with you," Spencer replied.

"What would Sam Smith say?" Sarah tried to question.

"Smith doesn't care. I work for him; he let me borrowed his car and some of his staff. This operation is on me only,"

"And look how it turned out," she had time to replied before he punched her in the face.

She spat blood on the floor. They heard noises from the hallway and gunshots. Spencer grabbed his gun and turned toward the door as it opened, showing a very angry Casey holding him at gunpoint. Spencer directed his own gun toward Casey.

"Drop your weapon. I will not repeat myself," he said.

"No. Why would I listen to you? My men will get here,"

"You mean the men I killed outside? Where is Alice?"

"No, you will not get to her," Spencer replied as he got more nervous every second. He aimed at Casey, then Chuck, then back to Casey.

"What do you want?"

"Her," he said as he shot Casey straight in the chest.

Casey thanked himself for thinking about wearing his bulletproof vest. He would bruise, but nothing more. He replied in a second, hitting the man to the shoulder; he still needed answers. Spencer dropped his gun as he felt walked back. Casey jumped on his and stopped him from moving, holding one of his arm behind his back very tightly.

Chuck made his way inside the room and undid the rope holding Sarah on the chair.

"You are working for Smith, where is he?" Casey asked as he handcuffed him behind his back.

"What are you? FBI agent?"

"That's none of your business. What does Smith want with me?"

"It has never been about you. Smith does know of my operation. I wanted to get Alice back. She belongs to me, not to you," he replied.

Members of the SWAT teams Casey called for this rescue mission came inside and took Spencer with them. Sarah rushed outside and run down the hallway followed by the boys, holding on to one the gun Casey brought. She opened the door where Alice was held; Casey and Sarah entered the room, pointing their guns to a potential threat, but quickly lowered their weapons as she was alone.

With her eyes wide opened, Alice looked up and down John; all dressed in black, a bulletproof jacket, holsters with guns at his tights. He rushed toward her and hugged her in his strong grip, but she did not move an inch.

"Are you hurt? Are you okay?" Casey said as he cupped her jaw with both of his hands.

Chuck and Sarah exited the door as they probably had a lot to talk about.

"Colonel Casey, building is clear," a member of the SWAT team reported from the hallway.

"Good, make sure the captive is taken to headquarters," he replied, before turning back to Alice.

"Colonel? What's all this?" she asked as she walked back, avoiding his hand who tried to caress her arm, pointing at his gear and guns.

"Let me explain. I'll tell you everything," he implored.

She walked around him and exited the room, followed Sarah to get out of the building. He let her go, stunned by her reaction, but understanding she needed time to digest everything that happened today. Deep inside, the small voice in his head told him it was all over between them and he felt his heart shattered in small pieces.
