Hey guys and welcome to a mini story. I honestly didn't know how to write the perfect story for this, so I went all in with a brick as my brain.
Anyways, enjoy (some how) "Pups go Ghost Hunting".
DAY 1 – Trouble by the Crops
Quiet midnight hours. Gentle breeze with crickets filling the ambience. On the scene were Chase, Marshall, Rocky and Zuma. The ghost's name was "Betty Miller", not the actress nor the author. All four pups approach the farmhouse. Marshall heard creaking from inside the house.
"Did you hear that?" Marshall asked. The rest turned to face him.
"Hear what?" Rocky asked.
"I heard creaking." Marshall replied. Chase, Rocky and Zuma looked at each other and then back at the freaked Dalmatian.
"You're probably hearing things, dude." Zuma suggested.
"I kid you not! I did hear something." Marshall protested. After rolling his eyes, Chase walked up to the window and tried to visualise what was inside. The interior was pitch black. The back of the room was hardly visible to his naked eye. Then a white paw smacked the other side of the window, causing Chase to let out a high pitched yelp. Then he saw that the paw belonged to a Terrier.
"Not cool, Rocky." Chase barked.
"At least I get five pup treats out of Marshall." Rocky grinned. Marshall slammed his paw into his face as Chase cocked an eyebrow at him.
5 minutes of wandering around the house like idiots passed and the pups eventually had all five lights.
"EMF Level 5 here in the living room!" Chase called out. Zuma pulled his spirit box and switched it on.
"Betty Miller, give us a sign..." Zuma asked. Nothing detected.
"Betty Miller, are you in the living room?" Nothing detected.
"Betty Miller, did you vote for Trump?" Zuma asked. "Yes... Spirit box, boys. We've got her." Marshall snickered away and Chase rolled his eyes.
"I wonder who's more stupid: the ghost or the Labrador?" Chase wondered as he and Marshall left the living room.
"The ghost?" Marshall guessed. Chase sarcastically nodded his head and let the dally pass first, then pretended to aim an arrow at his head behind his back. Then the lights of their flashlights began to flicker.
"My torch is flickering." Chase pointed out.
"Mine too. What do we do?" Marshall quickly replied. Chase scanned around and saw a closet. He dragged Marshall to the closet and hid inside.
"Guys? What's happening with my flashlight?" They heard Rocky's voice call out. Then a "hey" echoed in the house, followed by a girl scream which came from where Rocky last called out.
"Coms check, is anyone dead yet?" Zuma's voice came through on the radio.
"Still breathing," Chase replied.
"Shi-" Zuma moaned until he was cut off.
Back in the living room after taking sanity pills, Chase, Marshall and Zuma are gathered around an Ouija board.
"Greetings spirit known as the beautiful, sexy and dangerous Betty Miller, whose totally not the actress or the author. What is your name?" Marshall asked. He then felt a hard slap on the back of his head and turned to see Chase staring at him with a "really" face.
"Please state your location in this farmhouse." Chase asked. The piece stayed where it was.
"Do you think Skye and Everest make a cute lesbian couple?" Zuma asked. A moment of silence filled the room, apart from two growling dogs. Zuma saw the fireballs formed in Chase and Marshall's eyes. Zuma shifted the piece to where "yes" was.
"Shift that piece one more inch and I'll make you wish that you never made that joke." Chase growled.
"Sure, dude. It's not like you've got fanfics about you and Marshall being a gay couple." Zuma stated. Chase blushed and Marshall puckered up his lips.
"Don't even think about it, Marshall." Chase backfired. Suddenly, the lights start flickering. Zuma scattered into a closet while Chase and Marshall raced into a nearby room. Both pups switched off their flashlights and only the dead silence filled their ears.
"No, no, no. Fuck off! Fuck off, Betty! Get lost…" The two heard Zuma scream. "NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'M NOT A PROFESSIONAL COMEDIA…" They heard him scream before his voice was cut off.
"Well, I think that's wrapped up. Shall we head home?" Marshall asked. Chased nodded and the two ran out of the farmhouse.
