Last night's Halloween festivities went swell. Marge hosted a little party with the neighbors while the kids were away trick-or-treating. I think the most surprising part was how she convinced me to dress up this year. She played Cleopatra, and I played Caesar, and she looked damn good in that costume too… you could say our marriage has been going well.
And the kids were very happy too. I still remember the look of joy on Timmy's face when I got him his first toy laser rifle. He's always been crazy about the Army, he plays with Army toys, and I saw him play soldier in his costume with the other kids in the neighborhood. Time will tell if he'll really grow up to become one.
Mary enjoyed her Halloween too, though she's been too shy to really show it. She's making friends, at least, and she must've come home with the biggest bucket of candy you've ever seen.
Not a bad neighborhood to raise a family. I suppose I'll end this entry with another glass of wine.
