Dragon Tendencies

Kagami always knew she didn't like sharing. She wasn't selfish, she was competitive. That is, until she started falling in love. First it was Adrien. Her fencing rival, the one who always challenged her to improve her skills. Her first love. It was back then she started to realize that she might have a little more trouble with sharing than she thought.

She noticed the way her heart ached when Adrien would hang around Marinette. She didn't understand the girl at first, but when she gave Marinette a chance, well she just couldn't help but be drawn to the clumsy, innocent girl. So when her relationship with Adrien ended they didn't spend as much time together anymore, but that was ok.

Adrien was her friend and he always will be, but Kagami set her eyes on a different person. It came as something of a surprise when she started falling for Marinette, and even more so when she found out that Marinette liked her as well.

Marinette couldn't deny that she too used to have a crush on Adrien but as time passed, as they grew, her feelings changed. Adrien will always be one of the most precious people in Marinette's life, but right now her heart belongs to the holder of the Dragon Miraculous. And Kagami knew that.

So why did she still feel this urge to stake her claim on Marinette? Everyone knew they were dating, it wasn't like anyone was gonna put any moves on her girlfriend, least of all Adrien who was still their best friend. Even while they were all transformed she's still get a little protective. Which was stupid. Ladybug and Chat Noir were partners, friends both with and without the mask. There was no reason for Kagami to currently be jumping across rooftops to her girlfriends apartment.

Yet there was this feeling in the pit of her stomach that just would not go away until she... well she didn't even know what exactly she set off to do.

But the moment she saw Marinette and Adrien at the fashion show, standing so close, laughing, with Marinette looking at him from head to toe to take his measurements, the feeling just wouldn't go away.

At first she thought she just needed to blow off some steam, so she asked Marinette to borrow Longg for a while. But even after she spent the part of the night stopping petty criminals she didn't feel any better. She wanted to see Marinette. She needed to see Marinette.

She only needed to tap the window glass a few times before Marinette opened it.

"Good night?" She was greeted with a smile and a peck on the cheek.

Kagami sighed and shook her head before she pushed her way inside the room. "A few mugging attempts. Easy enough. And you Mari-hime? Any luck with the new designs?"

Mariette frowned, "A bit. I've got a few different ideas but I think I'm gonna need to call Adrien to help me settle on one. He's gonna be wearing it after all."

"That so?" Kagami's eyes pupils narrowed into sharp slits. She looked at the wall which was full of various jacket designs. A few had a subtle cat paw hidden, you wouldn't know it was there unless you looked for it, but Marinette always incorporated it in some way when she designed for Adrien. "When is he coming?"

"Huh? Uh.. I don't know?" Marinette tilted her head at the slightly deeper tone of Kagami's voice, "Haven't talked to him yet. Are you ok? You said you wanted to go on patrol tonight so I didn't expect you back so soon. Usually you stay out for a while longer."

"Slow night I guess." Kagami walked up to Marinette, her eyes finding the nape of her neck, that feeling in the pit of her stomach getting stronger and stronger. "I think... I think you can help."

Marinette gulped. She wasn't sure why but she felt very small under Kagami's gaze. Like she could end up the dragon's next meal. "H-How so?" There was a small squeak in her voice. She tilted her head to the side, the gesture sending shivers down Kagami's spine.

Her teeth ached. Her hands ached. "I don't know." She got the words out through gritted teeth, "Everything just... feels hot when I look at you. And when I see you acting so... friendly with Adrien, I just..." Kagami shook her head, "I don't know why it keeps happening. I'm fully aware that he's not someone who would try anything with you but I want everyone else to see."

"To see what Kagami?" God she was adorable.

Kagami took a deep breath. When she exhailed her breath was hot, and Marinette swore there was just the barest hint of fire and smoke, "That you're off limits." Kagami growled and pulled the other girl close, her nose in the nape of her neck, inhaling the sweet scent of baked goods. "I don't know if you noticed this Mari-hime, but you turn many heads when you pass by."

Marinette laughed, "You sure they're not looking at you?"

"How can they be when I'm one of the people I'm talking about. The difference is, as your girlfriend, you like me looking, I can look at you all I want and see you blush as much as I want. But they can't now can they?" Marinette shivered when she felt Kagami's hand move the hair from her neck to kiss her skin there.

"Well I do like you looking." Her hands smoothed over Kagami's shoulders, working out the knots there, which did help ease some of the pressure from Kagami's body.

"I know you do." Kagami's lips closed around a specific spot on Marinette's neck that she knew drew the Miraculous Guardian crazy. The reaction was just what she wanted, Marinette's hands clenching tight against her shoulders followed by a half moan half whimper. It still wasn't enough.

Marinette's scent swirled around her, enveloping her senses, driving Kagami absolutely crazy.

Before she knew it her tongue was licking across bare skin, her teeth sinking into the inviting neck. Marinette gasped at the sharp sting of pain and it made Kagami withdraw immediately, "Marinette! I... I'm sorry! I don't know what's come over me today." She looked at the red bruise, ready to either cry or punch herself or punch herself until she cried for hurting Marinette.

"Kagami. Calm down. I'm.. I'm ok." Marinette offered what she hoped was a soothing smile.

"Bullshit. You're hurt. I hurt you." Yeah, Kagami definitely felt like beating herself up for real.

"It's just a bruise Kagami. I've had much worse over the years." And Kagami has been there for most of it, helping her get back on her feet, which Marinette always repaid tenfold.

Kagami shook her head frantically, "But not from me. I would never hurt you."

"And you didn't. I was surprised but it wasn't bad. I just didn't know you had a biting kink." Kagami felt her cheeks burning up at Marinette's words.

"Marinette!" The Dragon holder couldn't help but break into a smile. Marinette cupped her cheeks.

"There's that smile." She leaned up, her heels just a few inches off the ground as she left a brief kiss on Kagami's lips.

Kagami hummed, the feeling at the pit of her stomach slowly dispersing, "You're really ok?"

"Well..." Marinette looped her arms around Kagami's shoulders once again pulling them close as her breath tickled Kagami's ear, "Maybe you could kiss it better?" Her voice was soft her sultry, which ignited a different kind of fire in Kagami's stomach.

"Careful there Mari-hime. You're playing with fire." Kagami smirked, her usual confidence back in full swing.

"Perks of having a hot girlfriend and your own apartment I guess." Marinette walked backwards towards the bed, taking Kagami with her.

"Longg, open sky." With a flash Kagami was back in her usual clothes. Longg bowed respectfully and returned to the Miraculous box, giving the two lovers some much needed privacy.
