[Jack's Perspective]
"Just fucking great" he thought to himself. He'd ended his call with Ricky feeling blindsided. How had he missed it? Looking back over the past few months, he could see all the signs, but how in hell had he missed them at the time?
Flynn's outbursts were clearly 'on the defensive' in his presence.
SHE was spending a lot of time 'not at the condo'.
She'd resisted his grandios efforts to wiggle his way back into their previous living arrangements.
After 20 years, she'd actually filed for divorce, AND refused to pay him spousal maintenance.
"Fuck you Flynn" he said out loud. "You don't screw MY wife and get away with it" completely forgetting that she was no longer his wife.

[Sharon's Perspective]
The warning of Jack's impending visit had barely given her time to process it before it happened. Clearly Andy felt the same trepidation, wondering whether anything about them had made its way to Jack yet. Surely neither Ricky nor Emily would actually tell him how they found out, even if they did mention that they were seeing each other...surely...
"What I need least of all, is Andy playing Captain Caveman to protect me, if Jack throws some crass comment out at him." She sighed.

[Provenza's Perspective]
"I hate that asshole almost as much as I hate paying alimony" he thought.
"How DARE he speak like that about the Captain?" He chastised himself at the same time, knowing that only a couple of years ago he would have laughed long and hard at Jack's outburst, and found the cobwebs and stick comments more than hilarious. In fact, he would have retold that story over and over again to the boys in the bar, and it would have very quickly made its way right through the PAB. How he had come to admire and respect her in such a short time, he couldn't say for sure, but he knew that he wouldn't breathe a word of what the son of a bitch had said, to anyone. Ever.

[Amy's Perspective]
"Wait, what?" she thought to herself. She couldn't help but stare at the scene unfolding before her. "Did he actually SAY that?" knowing he really had. She was disgusted and offended on the Captain's behalf. She and the Captain had developed a mutual comfort zone in the past year, and she no longer felt that she had to anticipate what the Captain might want before being asked. Why had Jack used Andy to attack his ex-wife though? Was something going on that she was oblivious to?
Amy decided to shelve her questions for a more appropriate time, because clearly that time was not now.

[Julio's Perspective]
"Do I do something or do I do nothing?" Julio asked himself as he heard Jack's verbal attack on the Captain. "I hate that bottom feeding piece of crap" he thought to himself as he stood helplessly by, unsure of which way to go in such a personal interaction. If it had been a suspect, he knew he would have thrown himself at the man without hesitation, but the Captain's ex-husband was shaky ground to fall on. "Why did he say Andy had done those things?" Julio asked himself. He made a mental note to see if Amy knew the reason, but shrugged knowing that ultimately it was none of his business.

[Mike's Perspective]
His head was spinning, but outwardly Mike registered no facial expression. "HOLY CRAP! HOLY CRAP! Did that terminal jerk Raydor just say what he thought he heard?" Mike was horrified that anyone would talk to the Captain that way. He made a mental note to dig up some cyber-dirt on the douchebag to use in the future.

[Buzz's Perspective]
Buzz was almost hidden, as usual, only popping his head above the wall divider when he heard raised voices. From behind Tao's head, he could see Jack Raydor's flushed red face, and had risen just in time to hear the vile torrent that spewed from it. He sat back down with a half smile. He wasn't happy about what had just happened. He was smiling because what he heard confirmed for him what he had been thinking for some time. All those sideways glances, accidental 'Sharon's spoken, and Andy's frequent requests to talk to her away from them all, were not figments of his imagination. Something WAS going on, and he was pretty sure he was the only one in a room full of detectives and lieutenants, who had figured it out before this.

Andy was livid. Sharon was beyond embarrassed.
Making his way to her office, he gestured to the others that it was ok. "I got this" he said.
"Do you BELIEVE that asshole?" he asked her.
"Unfortunately Andy, yes" she answered. "That was actually mild for Jack."
"Are you ok?" he asked her. "At least we sorted Taylor out this morning, so we headed off that disaster."
"I will be. I'm just waiting for the flush to go out of my face. I don't know if I can face my own team after that." she told him.
"One more word from him" Andy began "and I'll take his goddam head off, and I don't care who sees it."
"Andy..?"
"Yes..?"
"Please don't get yourself worked up over him. He's yesterday, you're today. In a few short months, you have made me happier than he did in 20 years. He really is nobody."
Andy took her into his arms, grateful for the still-drawn blinds, and thanked her for making those things clear to him. She'd given him the perspective he needed. She always did.
"I guess we can be grateful he wasn't told exactly HOW Ricky found out about us, if that's any consolation" she half giggled, remembering how mortified she had been in that situation.

Having visited with his new client, Jack walked back into the murder room just as Sharon and Andy emerged from her office."
Sharon touched Andy's arm "Thank you Lieutenant."
"No problem Captain" he answered, but stood his ground instead of going back to his own desk.

"Is that what you were calling each other when MY children found the two of you in bed together? MY children. God knows what else they've been exposed to" Jack announced.
All eyes turned to Andy, as Sharon gently put her hand on his arm, telling him she had control of the situation.

Stepping closer to Jack, and adopting a somewhat menacing pose, Sharon unleashed Darth Raydor's full force, like nobody had ever seen before.
"Jack Raydor get the FUCK out of my murder room" she shouted.
All eyes were on her, in shock. Provenza had to pick his jaw up off the floor at this point, because in all the years he'd known her, the strongest word he'd ever heard her utter was crap.
"YOUR children are grown adults." she continued to shout, poking him in the chest with one long fingernail.
"YOU are no longer connected to me in ANY way, shape or form, other than that we share those children."
"ASK those children what they were exposed to if you are so concerned. They will TELL you. But since you cannot usually give them the simple time of day, I have to assume you know exactly what you're doing here and it has NOTHING to do with our kids."
"I will respect you as a necessary evil, because my suspects will inevitably require a public defender, but MAKE NO MISTAKE Jack, if you so much as breathe incorrectly while you are here from now on, I will speak with the D.A. and I assure you that you will no longer have that position either."

With his mouth still open, Jack turned and marched to the elevator.
Sharon picked up the phone and dialed maintenance. "Yes, this is Captain Raydor, for today at least. Could you please have someone replace the name on my office door as soon as is humanly possible? O'Dwyer. Thank you."
