Ladybug lands next to her partner, Cat Noir, and smiles. He's early for once.

"Hey Kitty!" She leans up to kiss his cheek, but he pulls away at the last second, causing her to frown in concern. Not like him to deny a kiss from his lady. Maybe, maybe she did something? Did she? How? She hasn't seen him in 3 days. Is that why?

'Marinette, focus! Since when do you care so much?' She shakes her head and looks at him.

"Everything, okay Kitty?" She asks, as she steps closer to him.

His only reply is a grunt. Whether of acknowledgement or anger, she's not sure.

"Did I…" She starts, but stops mid-sentence. She doesn't want to seem needy. He has other things in his life to make him moody. He is a teen boy, after all.

"Come on, I want to show you something." Ladybug smiles and takes Cat Noir's hand.

"What?" He frowns. He's definitely upset about something he wouldn't tell her about.

"My favourite place, to my favourite person." She smiles at his slight smile. Causing a slight pink to rise on her cheeks. Why is she blushing when he smiles at her? Get a grip, girl!

"Think you can keep up?" She winks at him, as she pulls her Yoyo out and jumps off the building and swings away. She could hear him make some noise, she wasn't sure which.

They land in a garden, a loosely packed gravel path snakes along the garden, in and out and among the flowers, dotted with benches here and there. Running along the sides of the path, is hundreds of daffodils. A sea of yellow, as far as the eye can see. Mixed in are a few small purple flowers and a bit of grass. It's truly a sight to be seen.

Ladybug stops to admire the scenery, a smile that is true happiness and content spreads across her face. While Ladybug's admiring the scenery, Cat Noirs watching her, his heart giving a painful ache at her beauty and serenity.

"This is my favourite place. In the Spring the flowers bloom and it looks... magical. Makes me feel like I'm in some kind of fairy tale, and my castle is behind me, while I sit surrounded by daffodils and singing birds. Waiting for my prince to come for me." She smiles wistfully. As she reaches out and takes his hand, she squeezes it, wanting to share the moment with him. Not just together, but physically through touch. She wants him to know. She cares about him. She can tell that he's lonely and upset about something.

"It's beautiful. You're beautiful…" He whispers, as she lets go of his hand with one last squeeze to step forward. She bends down and smells a bright yellow daffodil. The setting sun behind her highlighting the flush on her cheeks from his words, and made her slight frame almost glow in the light's warmth. And Cat Noir, if possible, fell even more in love with her than he already was.

Surrounded by happy, yellow Spring flowers, And Ladybug's quiet contentment. Made Cat Noir's heart glow with pride and honour at knowing and loving this incredible woman.

As if overcome by the moment or his love for her. He steps forward and takes her hand. Bringing it to his mouth to kiss. He watches her stand upright, and the flush in her cheeks returns, greater this time. As if on their own, his feet step closer to her. Wanting to be as close to her as possible.

Ladybug could feel her cheeks heating, not from the proximity or the kiss. But the look in his eyes. A look of pure love and passion. She's suddenly overcome with the urge to feel his lips upon hers. Which only deepens her blush. She notices him step closer to her. She imitates him by stepping closer.

They were mere inches apart. She could feel his breath on her face as he looks down at her. Her breath, however, is in her throat. Making her sound wheezy.

"Thank you Ladybug, I appreciate this more than you know." He smiles as he leans down to her.

She wonders if he wants to kiss her as much as she wants to kiss him. She also wonders when she decided kissing Cat Noir was the only thing she wanted to do at that moment.

Throwing all the what-ifs, dangers, precautions and warnings to the wind, she slowly lifts herself up on her tiptoes to reach him. Normally she hated the height difference, but right now it felt... romantic. She could feel his breath shuddering as she closes the gap between them. Hungry to feel his lips upon hers. Just as they were about to brush lips, he sighs and pulls away from her with a slight frown.

'Oh no you don't!' She thinks, and before she can second guess herself, she grabs his face and pulls him back, planting her lips fully on his.

His surprise only lasts a few moments before he presses his lips against hers with such passion, drawing a gasp from her. When he came to join her today, a kiss, in a garden surrounded by beautiful smelling flowers, from the love of his life. Was not something he was expecting.

She slowly wraps her arms around his neck, as his snake their way around her waist giving her a tug, so that they were flesh against each other. Drawing another gasp from her. Making him chuckle at the way her body trembles under his touch. As if she wants this as much as he does. Considering she kissed him, she probably does.

The kiss starts out gentle, but slowly dissolves into unbridled passion. The two are happy to stand there surrounded by cheerful daffodils, kissing until the sun fully sets and the moon winks down at them from above. For when one is in love, and surrounded by the most beautiful flowers in Paris. What more does one or two need.
