Summary: Late in the death game Alfheim Swords (a sci-fi based combination of ALO, SAO, and GGO) a foolish group launch a boss raid early and StarCrossed Swords races in to save the day!

Wait... Sinon!

The sound of metal colliding with the ground was Hella's only warning before suddenly there was the sound of someone shouting, "Ran! Move!" and something colliding with something heavy like a shield.

It was ridiculous fighting in the dark like this, where there wasn't a single ounce of light, which was why everyone was blindly wandering around, unable to see or hear the boss with it being invisible with no light.

What she would've given to have the fancy tech Sinon and Argo had that allowed them to each fully see in the dark.

Supposedly there was a contingency plan developed by Argo and in secret by all of the StarCrossed Swords. But even she as someone who lived with the smith in charge of the guild's equipment and special equipment, like the night goggles Sinon had, had no idea what they were up to.

Granted, they were in a league of their own, as she had discovered after living with Lisbeth for over six months now. They each had their different roles to play and played them well they certainly did. The senior members of the guild were made up of Asuna the Lightning Flash, the second in command of the guild and the unofficial leader of ALS; Kirito the Black Swordsman, the leader of the guild and considered the most skilled and deadly player alive; Klein, the Samuari master and the master of swordsman training for all front line players, Lisbeth the Forge Master, Hella's non-exclusive girlfriend, the top master crafter in ALS and the one in charge and dedicated to front lines equipment, gear, and guns;

Sinon the Huntress, the only player with the 'lie in wait' skill, an exclusive skill that bypasses the melee ranged rotation and the game-wide top support ranged player; Silica the Tamer, a master animal tamer and the liaison between normal players and the front lines; the unofficial member Galaxy Warrior a.k.a Caylee, the only remaining GM in the game and worked hand in hand, literally, with Argo to send out information alerts and guides prior to events beginning, including raids; and the last unofficial member, Argo the Rat, the best and only master tier information broker in the game that completed every quest within a day of it's release to produce danger guides and worked with Caylee to install counter measures.

So with those kinds of players, it wasn't a surprise that the guild were always three steps ahead of everyone else.

If of course, they were on time, which they hadn't been today.

Normally Asuna and Kirito were the raid leaders, as they had their fingers in every part of the game and had now years of combat leading experience. However, today everyone had been impatient and had started the raid plans without any of the StarCrossed Swords being there and with the raid being a day early. So Argo's danger guide hadn't come out just yet, even if Hella had sent a message to the information broker who had paid her for her tip and told her they'd be there. Since Lisbeth was probably occupied with something secret like she had been for the past day or so.

Still, Hella had heard Sinon's voice enough to be able to tell that she was the one that had shouted to Hella's guildmate to move and the sound of metal hitting the ground had to be her sniper hitting the ground as well.

"You mother-" Sinon started swearing, much to Hella's surprise, only to hear her shriek briefly. The sound allowed her to tell that Sinon was being lifted up into the air, without her sniper. Meaning she was defenseless with her skill active.

"I swear," Kirito shouted over the monster's roar, "whoever started this raid early is going to get demoted to mid-line work!"

"Now's not the time, Kirito-kun," Asuna sighed, if surprisingly calmly, "please focus on what's going on right now…"

"I am!" Kirito huffed from somewhere to Hella's left, "but can you blame me? Sinon-"

"Get. me. Down!" The sniper snapped gracefully despite the clear fear in her voice, "stop being bumbling idiots and help-"

Her words were cut off by the sound of something charging, faint sparks causing brief, short flashes of light from nearby.

After another second of charging, someone spoke, "gotcha."

It was Lisbeth.

The gun fired, burning white spots in Hella's vision as what could only be described as a laser beam fired from a weapon with the ear splitting crack of a fifty cal rifle firing some kind of juiced up bullet. The laser went just past the boss' head, but it was just enough to shatter the crown on it's head.

Instantly the arena filled with dim light, revealing that kneeling on one knee and holding Sinon's back up sniper Adored, charging the weapon once again, was Lisbeth. The blacksmith pulled back the bolt on the weapon as the light began to rapidly dim again, only to slam it back into place and pull the trigger for the second time.

Causing another high powered laser to rip through the growing darkness and keep it at bay once again with a bit more time this time. Before the rifle turned into bright light that zipped toward Sinon, signaling the rotation of Lisbeth's melee and ranged, which was when she started running.

The tank gave a truly impressive roar as she ran, sprinting with her enhanced STR stats causing cracks to ripple in the ground under her before she materialized her shield and slammed shoulder first into the boss. Causing it to snarl angrily, but more importantly, the metal plating over her arm and shoulder shattered and exploded into polygons. Showing off just how resistant and strong the boss was since it was shattered titanium metal plating.

Her unique shield rang out at the impact, screeching it's vibranium song through the air and causing the boss and all of it's minions, to gain the fear buff even as she shouted, "switch!"

A grappling line launched itself into the boss's face and materialized out of nowhere was blonde hair, pale skin, and robed in tan, brown, and green from head to toe with a hooded cloak who's hood fluttered in the wind was enough of an identifier. Even more so than the tattooed whiskers and mischievous cackle she gave as she zipped toward him and landed, anchored horizontally to it's red nose.

"What's 'p?" Argo smirked and after pushing off of it's nose and causing it to grunt, the small blonde swung up. Her foot glowing from a martial arts skill as she swung her small body upward toward it's hand and spun horizontally in the process of landing a powered up, round house kick.

She landed the skill with enough force to produce a small shockwave and the boss roared in irritation and moved to swipe at her, but she was already looping a rope around Sinon's waist with a smirk and a taunting wiggle of her fingers. While her other hand had already launched her secondary grapple and she was zooming upward toward the ceiling with Sinon bitterly complaining about her situation.

Where the soles of Argo's shoes glowed brightly and promptly attached themselves to the ceiling so she was stable despite being upside down. As she pulled some kind of small bag out of her sleeve and chucked it toward the boss' face. "Sw'tch!"

Lisbeth, the one closest to the boss who had tanked a hit that caused her to skid backward slightly, turned around so her back was to the boss and cupped her hands together while on one knee. Allowing her to be just in time for a swish of a galaxy themed cloak before a foot was in her hands and she was throwing the person up thirty feet into the air.

Caylee slashed the canister Argo had thrown and Asuna shouted, "everyone cover your mouth and nose!"

Hella slapped a hand over her mouth and nose and quickly gestured for her guildmates to follow suit. After all, the StarCrossed swords always had a plan.

With the sound of a match striking rough metal, there was a loud bang! As the area around the boss' face was lit up like a christmas tree and it screamed at the light exposure of the material splattered all over its face that was glowing with enough light to make the room near twilight in light level.

While Caylee went flying backward from the force of the explosion and her weapon flying off in some unknown direction.

"It's weakness is light!" Asuna rapidly directed. As though the GM in the air wasn't being launched across the room, Sinon wasn't cursing at Argo who was letting her know she was going to drop her, and Lisbeth wasn't using her shield as a bounce pad and wasn't running up the front of screaming boss itself to give herself some air time. "Everyone please find Silica at the back of the room and coat your blades in the lit polymer!"

Lisbeth meanwhile pushed off the boss's chest, showed some impressive flexibility in flipping around and in midair with an impressive quickchange gesture, her armor changed. Instead of the beautiful white silver and midnight black titatnium alloy metal adorning most of her body, there was now complex rig of leather over her chest and stomach and more rigging over the rest of her body with something over her back and fully metallic boots.

It had to be the secret project Lisbeth had been working on.

"Switch!" Sinon practically screamed, trying to not flail when she was falling from sixty feet in the air. Oh, wasn't the sniper deathly afraid of heights?

"Well hello there, beautiful," Lisbeth teased Sinon as she caught her bridal style and motioned for her to hold onto her, "just stay close, alright," she told her and Sinon rolled her eyes at the half teasing.

"Whatever, charmer," Sinon seemed to already know what was going to happen as she anchored her hands and feet into the loops in the rigging at Lisbeth's sides and the sides of her calves. While Lisbeth pulled a cord at her shoulder.

Causing everyone looking to stare, as beautifully made, cloth dragon-like wings emerged from the device on her back and locked in place over her arms.

God fucking damn that girl was smart…

Lisbeth pulled the wings in toward her body and rolled, diving down to avoid the boss's right hand trying to grab her and Sinon.

"Hey Sinon!" Someone shouted and the sniper's primary rifle, the Hecate Two, was held up in the air, "come here!"

At the words, Lisbeth snapped the wings open just above everyone's heads and clicked her heels as she slowly soared past, "hey Kirito! Caylee!"

"Yeah?" The black swordsman was smirking as Lisbeth glided alongside the sound of something whirring and starting up.

While Caylee lazily looked up from her spot on the floor next to Kirito who had caught her and kept her from colliding with the wall. "Have at it," she dismissed it, even though she was clearly smirking as well.

"This is-" Lisbeth said as the whirring got a little louder and a bit of blue was visible at the soles of her boots. "-fucking amazing!" The engineer shouted with nerdy glee as some kind of propulsion system kicked in in her boots and she tucked the wings in just slightly. Thereby sending her and Sinon rocketing forward, now able to maintain proper flight height and control. "I'm never going to get used to this!" she laughed with the glee of someone who had finally succeeded in something they had been wanting to do and been working on for a long time.

Sinon's sniper was snatched out of the person's hands as Lisbeth went upside down to let Sinon grab her other weapon and rolled before soaring upward toward one of the small niches toward the ceiling, namely a spot with a tree that Sinon could sit and snipe in safely without being grabbed by the boss.

While Sachi, a minor member of StarCrossed Swords quickly banged on Lisbeth's discarded shield to produce that earpiercing screech that stunned enemies for a short amount of time while the boss was still shrieking at the glowing something on its face. While her guildmates were busy distributing the glowing polymer in the back of the room, giving directions to the team leaders to make up a solid plan, or in Lisbeth and Sinon's case, full on flying in the air.

"Damn…"

It didn't take long for most of the players, including most of Hella's guild, to have everything sorted out and all of their weapons coated in the self hardening polymer that was in a set of buckets in front of Silica.

"Make sure you get the entirety of the blade or head of your weapon," Silica told Ran swiftly as she monitored everyone applying the stuff to their weapons. She had her little feather dragon on her shoulder, the source of her healing abilities beyond just her magic and stockpile of med items and crystals.

The animal tamer was lit up by the polymer, which was glowing faintly from the residual light from Sinon's laser and the bomb Argo and Caylee had set off on the boss' face, but she also had a glowing weapon of her own. Which she clicked on to charge Ran and Hella's polymer coated weapons.

It was just a short flash before she fired it into the ground of the increasingly dark room, and lying on the ground in the same way a glowstick did, was a flare with some kind of internal fuse. Which went off with a small bang and caused it to glow brightly for a short amount of time and charge everyone's not light based weapons.

"Hey!" Ran, Hella's friend and guildmate called out to the redhead, "Come on! You gonna get fight or are you going to leave all of the hard work to me and Melody, Hella?"the words were accompanied by a teasing snort even if through her long friendship with her she knew that the girl was lightly annoyed.

Probably frustrated by how she, their guild leader, was half busy staring after her currently half dragon girlfriend flying through the air on a beautiful wings while Sinon was checking her sniper.

Oops.

Hella rushed off toward the other members of her guild, "cut me some slack, Ran! I bet you stared for at least a little too…"

Meanwhile Lisbeth landed in the far off niche and couldn't resist giving the sniper a brief peck on the lips, too excited and giddy to be able to resist giving Sinon, her other partner, who rarely was around in a romantic way, a kiss.

"You're going to annoy Hella if she can see down there with those flashing lights," Sinon deadpanned. Though she didn't really push her away or anything, fine with the smith taking a moment to cradle her face in her hands and brush her lips eagerly against hers. If anything, Lisbeth's excitement was rubbing off on her.

"I'm not breaking any rules, so deal with it," Lisbeth responded cheekily but let her go as the sniper carefully managed to escape the looped foot and hand holds of the rigging that had held her flush to Lisbeth's body while in the air and stepped onto the wide branch beneath Lisbeth's feet. "Plus, I'm excited, sue me," she laughed and Sinon rolled her eyes.

"Then get down there and be excited as a dragon, instead of lingering up here with me," Sinon deadpanned and checked over her rifles as she materialized them and slung them over her shoulder. Her night vision goggles allowing her to have a perfect front row seat to Lisbeth's excitement in the dim lighting.

"As you wish, princess," Lisbeth teased before she let herself tip backward with her wings folded at her side. So she began a casual free fall.

At the sight of the girl in a full free fall from about sixty feet in the air without warning anyone, Hella went running, "fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!"

Hoping to be able to catch Lisbeth if she fell and hurt herself. Not that she had anything to worry about.

She ducked with a squeak as Lisbeth suddenly snapped out her wings and pulled them in again in a high speed roll toward where Hella and the rest of her guild were.

"Why don't you warn me next time you want to pull a heart stopping stunt like that?!" Hella shouted to the girl in the air and as the shock wore off she laughed with an amused shake of the head. As Lisbeth went vertical, as if she was going to land.

"Auh, did you miss me?" Lisbeth laughed freely, dropping the last handful of feet so her feet touched the ground with a bit of a stumble, clearly not used to flying yet. "Don't worry though," she reassured her as she landed and trotted the distance remaining between her and Hella, her wings moving softly with each movement of her arms. "I've got about as much experience with this thing as I do sleeping with you," she teased, proving that she had been working on this system for a really long time, and took a new weapon Hella had never seen out of her inventory.

"You spend half your time in your forge working on everyone's shit, and most of the other half, sleeping with me," Hella teased. "How in the world did you have the time to make this thing, let alone learn… how to…" she trailed off as Lisbeth touched her menu a handful of times and her armor changed.

Short flashes of light and polygons brought metal to life before the wings strapped firmly to her slightly moving arms with the leather rigging and pulleys, made light clanging, vibranium ringing noises. As metal appeared over it with a flourish and slid across one another as Lisbeth moved. Large metallic sheets that were only about two to four inches wide spanned over the cloth and long, thick rounded pieces covered the sturdy areas that had small indents like scales and small claw-like tips at the top edges.

While thin sheets of metal coated her back like large dragon scales, with even a lightly raised middle like a dragon's spines, and her chest and stomach were coated in much wider, close fitting metal armor like the belly of a dragon. Her sides were covered with chainmail to protect the leather, and her legs were mostly encased in solid metal as well, with mild indents like small little dragon scales scattered throughout the metal.

Lisbeth the Forge Master was now her favorite animal and the animal she said she had tattooed on her back IRL.

A living breathing, flying dragon.

A dragon of the colors of the StarCrossed Swords and had the insignia on her back.

Though like usual, she wore no helmet, even if in this case she wore a mildly sci-fi visor to protect her eyes from the wind and knowing her and her friends, it probably had some other functions as well.

Her pink hued eyes were bright with life, definitely a mix of being the first person to fly within the game and also having Sinon pressed close to her body to keep her safe and protected while she flew her to safety. So clearly, Lisbeth was over the moon despite being in a boss room that was getting increasingly dark and so it was barely above twilight in the room.

Hell raised her eyebrows and gave the "dragon" a once over with a cheeky smirk, "yanno, I never expected to be sexually attracted to a dragon, yet here I am."

Lisbeth playfully turned around and wiggled her butt, which was armorless besides some rigging that honestly just really just made her look that much attractive. "Bow to the Dragon Queen!" she teased, "but hey," she added and walked toward her with a flirty smirk and playful eyebrows, "who said that this attractive dragon isn't interested in a hot redhead like you?" She teased as she slung her arm around Hella's waist, then laughed and sobered up a bit. "No but seriously, you, and I," she said and smiled flirtily at her, "have an appointment with our room later today. Sooo," she said as she squinted when another laser, one that was fired from a hundred meters away via Sinon tucked inside a tree far away.

Evidently the sniper had recovered from her fright and was getting back to work.

"I'll see you then," Lisbeth winked flirtily and it was perfect timing as Asuna spoke up once more with Kirito at her side.

"Teams C through Z, begin the assault with the plans I gave you! Remember, when you hear and see the laser charging, teams A through J back off and lift your weapons so the light can recharge the polymer, and rotate with teams K through Z!" The unofficial leader of Aincrad directed quickly and smoothly and those she addressed quickly went off to the positions she had given them earlier. "StarCrossed Swords and teams A and B, gather together! Teams A and B, remember that you're up front and center with us!" Her amber eyes swept over the sixteen players that weren't inside her guild while her guild itself gathered close together, standing in straight lines, including Lisbeth as if they were waiting for something. "We're counting on you, so let us take the lead and follow our lead!"

"Lisbeth will be using a grenade launcher and her new armor to stun the boss with a contracted polymer bomb you saw Argo use earlier," Kirito picked it up and explained what their guild would be doing, easily able to speak over the sound of the other teams fighting. "Otherwise she will be acting as the sole primary tank, as her armor is specifically designed to deflect and tank hits that will shatter your armor like hers shattered earlier.

"Argo believes that there is a secret within this room on the other forms of the boss so she and Caylee will be searching through the room for what they believe will be the missing link to this boss or taunting and taking agro. Sinon-" he said as the laser started charging again, "is using a specialized bullet and modification system on her rifle to create what's a phantom laser. She will also be using densely compacted, polymer bullets, so if you hear her rifle fire without a laser it's alright, she knows what she's doing. Remember, do not try to tank any hits unles you have a vibranium shield, which we couldn't distribute to your team as we didn't have enough."

"Otherwise the rest of us will be aiding you in damage," Asuna finished while Sinon fired another laser round and made the boss shriek as she hit it directly in the face.

Man, they really were the top, weren't they?

"StarCrossed Swords!" Kirito then suddenly shouted and Lisbeth immediately lifted her arm, just like all of the other members of the guild, though hers had a closed fist, like Asuna, Kirito, Caylee, and Argo. "What do we stand for!?"

Lisbeth straightened her posture, thumped her fist against her chest, and held it there at her heart like all of the other senior members of the guild. While the newer ones all lifted two fingers in a sharp salute. "Trust, empathy, safety, and freedom!" The blacksmith and elite tank shouted with the rest of her guild, showing off just how organized and dead set on making the players' lives here in the game as full as possible but also, their steadfast determination to get everyone out of the game.

"What are we doing today?"

"Clearing the next area, Black Swordsman!"

"Do we accept casualties if we can help it?!"

"No! Blackswordsman! Every life is precious and we treasure them all!" The guild's voices echoed around the room around the fighting going on within the middle of the room. And Lisbeth's voice was a big part of it, with her vocal volume coming into play here and making the guild sound more intimidating and what made them such an elite, out of this world class guild.

"Now why are we doing that? Is it to make the guild richer?"

"No, Black Swordsman!"

"Then why are we here?" Kirito responded firmly and his guild answered back in perfect sync.

"To better the lives of every player, primarily not our own!" It was a true testament of just how much time and effort they had put into their beliefs and mantra long back when the game was still a horror show and everyone was terrified that they were all going to die in the game.

So this was the StarCrossed Swords in pre raid prep. When they were all switching off their normal mindsets and switching on their serious faces to take their places and their part in taking this thing down without any casualties.

This was why everyone said that the StarCrossed Swords was and always would be the top elite guild.

"Where does the money we earn go?" Asuna asked, taking over briefly for her partner.

"To the players within the game who can not participate on the front line but are just as important!"

"Which place are we donating to today?"

"Sasha's orphanage, Lightning Flash!" They all responded quickly and in sync and Asuna looked to where she could see Lisbeth's pink hair.

"ForgeMaster, will you be adding to the donation today?"

"Yes, Lightning Flash!" Lisbeth responded immediately and bowed to her leader, perfectly content with giving away the money she would earn today in repairing everyone's weapons and gear to the orphanage. "It would be my honor!"

It was hard to believe that the player standing next to her listening to her guild leaders and responding in turn without moving or breaking her perfect postured bow and senior guild salute, was the same player that always cracked jokes, liked to mess around, and loved having fun.

Cause the player standing next to her, responding like a soldier but with full sincerity was almost nothing like how she normally acted. There was still the kind hearted sincerity within her and it was definitely still her, but still… it was strange to know that there was this side of her. A deadly serious, always ready to go in at one-hundred percent dedicated level, who could make decisions on the fly and respond and respect authority.

Someone who was trained like an elite soldier and could use that training when the time really called for it.

Even Argo was following the guild's example and mimicking Lisbeth.

"Lisbeth! Lisbeth! Lisbeth!" The guild shouted, chanting the smith's name in return for the extra donation.

"Anyone else?" Asuna asked and much to everyone's surprise, Argo responded. Argo the Rat, the richest person in the game who could con a grandmother into giving up her wallet if she actually wanted to, was offering to donate.

"I'll do it," Argo responded, speaking slow as to keep her accent from getting in the way and giving her sister the same kind of bow that Lisbeth was still doing. "Just tell me how much Lisbeth is donation'" she slipped up a bit with her accent, "and I'll match it."

"Argo! Argo! Argo!" The guild chanted again before Asuna smiled at them all.

She then gave her guild a bow of her own. "Thank you, all of you. They appreciate it very much."

"It's our pleasure Asuna!" The guild rang back and bowed in turn before Kirito was finishing it off.

"StarCrossed Swords, what do we say? Who do we fight for!"

"Those who gave their lives to beat this game!"

"And?"

"The players who still live within the game!"

"And last but most importantly?"

"We fight for the families outside the game who's loved ones have been caught in this trap!"

"Then who are we?" Kirito called and his guild responded back.

"StarCrossed Swords!"

Kirito raised his voice, "who are we?" He shouted and they all shouted back as well.

"STARCROSSED SWORDS!"

Kirito then smiled and relaxed his stance, "then lets go kick some ALS ass!"

"Oorah!" Lisbeth along with the other members of the guild responded in the in sync with a shout, stomp of one foot, and the sound of their blades and weapons ringing sharply once against their arm guards. With Lisbeth ringing the upper arm of her wings against one another since she didn't have a melee weapon at the moment.

"Please put in your earpieces, StarCrossed Swords and the ones we provided, Teams A and B. As Argo will auto upload any information she finds," Asuna added and tucked her own wrap around ear and eye piece into her ear.

But with that, the guild was dispersing.

With Lisbeth giving the dumbfounded Hella a glancing kiss on the cheek as she walked by, tucking her device into her ear. With a firm expression that spoke of her intense training and experience as a true warrior of Alf-Heim Swords.

She got a short running start before she took off into the air with a click of her toe against her heel and the screeching of vibranium vibrating due to the speed she was moving, almost like the roar of a dragon. Racing toward the boss while her guild mates sprinted after her besides the ones that had to split off to do other things, namely Argo and Caylee.

Who were clicking on UV flashlights as though they expected to find something on the walls.

Still, it was crazy seeing the guild in person, up close and personal and working on the fly.

Normally the guild showed up, ready, prepared, and actively distributing raid plans and team assignments to those who were showing up. With the serious battle ready and focused expressions on their faces and a one-track focus but flexible expectations that they all had, even Lisbeth. Lisbeth was rarely visible and available at the beginning of a raid, as the smith was normally being briefed on the exact number of players coming and the number of equipment she needed to pass out, especially to the tanks and support players.

But when Lisbeth was visible and not surrounded by a ton of people she was always with her guildmates, discussing various aspects of the fight, checking on their gear and tech, and of course, giving Sinon's sniper a once over. Before, if need be or if she wanted to, she'd disassemble, clean, and make minor repairs to the precious weapon as she was waiting.

All of these were some of the many reasons that Lisbeth and Hella almost never saw each other during these raids. Since StarCrossed Swords was so high up and important that they were also in the direct front, leading the entire raid, and working together to do the work of a guild three times their size.

As Lisbeth flew off, spinning to gain speed and collide directly into the boss with the force of a small cannon, Hella's earpiece crackled to life.

"Kinda sucks that we have to work, isn't it?" Sinon mused, evidently talking to her on a private line, and showing that bit of a smartass that dating Lisbeth usually coaxed out of her for short moments. "Otherwise I'm sure she'd love to take you flying with her, or of course," she sounded entirely too cheeky to be Sinon in the next half of her sentence, "adventure with you between the sheets."

"Don't tempt me," Hella laughed, "it's hard enough to keep my attention on the boss and not on her, specifically her ass. Which I blame Lisbeth and Ashley on since the outfit frames it just a bit too well. Though…" she chuckled over the private line and returned Sinon's tease, "Lisbeth could always use some of the same basica tech and make a floating platform for people to do, well, anything on~"

Sinon snorted, but didn't have time to respond.

"Comns check," Asuna's voice crackled through Hella's earpiece, "StarCrossed Swords main leads, count off, Sinon?"

"I hear you loud and clear, Asuna," Sinon responded coolly with zero of the playful attitude she had a moment ago, "Lisbeth?"

"Airborne and responsive," Lisbeth responded swiftly, "Klein?"

"Leading team B as we speak," the samurai responded, "Silica?"

"Ready to heal whenever it's called for," the animal tamer and healer responded swiftly.

Asuna spoke up again, "recon team, comns check, Argo?"

"Loud 'nd clear, A-chan," Argo responded in her usual accent though she sounded much more serious than normal, "Ki-Lii?"

"Yes, yes, I can hear you," Caylee deadpanned flatly though her words portrayed vague emotion that her voice really didn't. "Argo, look," her voice stayed completely flat despite the vague curiosity in her speech.

Huh, so maybe the rumors about her nervegear damaging part of her brain from being a GM that survived the kill switch, were true.

"Gotcha," Argo responded and continued the comns check for the brunette. "Comns 're clear A-chan, we'll 'op in when we f'nd somethin'."

"Perfect," Asuna breezed through it all, "very well, lets go. Lisbeth, begin the barrage now."

"On it boss," Lisbeth responded even as Hella saw her dive bomb before she had slid across the ground, the metal of her armor groaning in response and fully straightened out a wing in front of Melody. Causing the metal to all slot perfectly into place and mesh together in a flat, perfect, vibranium shield. Which took the blow that would've hit Melody. Lisbeth moved with gritted teeth, pushing back against the resisting strength of the boss. It caused the boss' hand to slide and grind across the metal only to be flicked off with enough force that it generated a sonic ring and a dragon-like screech from the vibranium's indenting and partially threw the boss off balance.

Lisbeth's STR stats really were no joke, weren't they?

Though the boss' day got just that bit worse, since Lisbeth didn't waste a second and took off, shooting up like a beautiful spinning dragon, who's armory scales glittered under the light of Sinon's well timed laser. Before she brought out the grenade launcher, an almost shotgun looking gun, and fired. "Take this!"

The cartridge exploded mid-air, throwing polymer everywhere over the boss's face before a tiny, thin little laser erupted past Lisbeth's ear and directly toward the creature's eye. To everyone's surprise, rather than just the laser making contact, there was the crack of a certain fifty-cal sniper rifle. The laser exploded into thousands of tiny particles infused with light and lighting up the polymer like a christmas tree. The second bullet, which had gone straight through the specialized pistol bullet and made it blow up, went straight into the boss' eye and detonated with a flash of light, from inside its eye.

Making it scream bloody murder and stumble, making it more vulnerable to the other players' attacks.

Just another display of Sinon's elite pindrop accuracy.
