Dean yawns quietly and starts looking for a place to stop for the night. Almost 8 hours of driving and he wasn't sure that he could stay awake for the rest of the drive. Sam sitting next to him was slumped in his seat with his head resting on the window. A part of Dean wanted to smack Sam for smudging Baby's window with his greasy forehead. He decided to refrain from hitting his brother though because he didn't want to wake the mysterious beauty in the back seat.

Dean had moved his rear view mirror to watch Davis sleep a few hours ago. He stole as many glances as he could while still driving safely. Her beautiful tan skin seem to glow in the light of the setting sun. Her hair coiled in curls were a mixture of a beautiful caramel browns. Never had Dean Winchester been so enamored by a woman's beauty like Davis'.

"Why are you looking at her like that?" Cas' raspy voice whispered behind Dean causing him to jump slightly. Thankfully Dean was good under jumpy conditions and the car only gently swayed.

"What the hell Cas?" Dean whispered back annoyed with the Angel.

"I thought you wanted me to find you after I found the prophecy?"

"Yeah but you didn't have to sneak up on me like that."

"Sorry Dean." Cas apologized but he didn't mean it. He was tired of how sensitive humans were, especially Dean Winchester.

Dean finally saw a motel attached to diner and pulled into the parking lot. He put the car in park and told Cas to check out the place to make sure there weren't any demons hanging out. As soon as Cas entered the building Dean turned to look at Davis.

Her eyes still closed and her breathing slow and heavy. He looked at her lips slightly parted and thought of how it would feel to kiss them. They looked so soft and welcoming. His eyes wandered down her face to her beautiful sundress, the dark blue complimenting her skin. The fabric was hugging her curves and begged him to touch.

"Hey!" Cas shouted at the window of the car and pounded on it. Dean threw him a nasty look. "No demons. Come on."

"How long were we out?" Sam asked stretching his arms as wide as he could in the crammed car.

"About eight hours. Let's go." Dean growled and got out of the car.

"What's his problem?" Davis sleepily asks while smoothing her dress.

"He's hungry."

Davis and Sam get out of the car and stretch some more. They were parked in front of a motel and diner combo. Davis huffed a little seeing that it was clearly a one-star kinda place. Even the sign by the road was sketchy, Joe's Burgers & Beds.

"Ugh. Burgers and beds. Great pick." Davis muttered and Sam looked at her nodding in agreement.

"Better than nothing. Stop complaining." Dean grumbled from the other side of the car and left to the diner.

Sam, Davis and Cas followed Dean inside and they all sat a booth in the corner. Davis found herself against the wall next to Sam and across from Dean. The Angel was next to Dean with a concerned look.

"Cas said he found the prophecy." Dean announces while looking over the menu.

"Well part of the prophecy." Cas corrected.

"Son of a bitch! Seriously Cas?" Dean was angry. He had hoped the Angel would have come back with all of the information so that they could deal with this situation. He didn't want to have Davis around longer than necessary.

"Why couldn't you find the whole prophecy?" Sam questions furrowing his brows wanting to understand. He hated how Dean was so quick to become angry, so he tried hard to be opposite of his brother.

Davis sat there silently for the answer. She wasn't sure of how she got where she was and so fast. Yesterday she was working a normal case and now she was thrown into this strange situation. Could she even trust that what they were saying was true? As she looked through the endless burger options of the menu Davis was creating different escape options for herself.

"Donatello said that there is several prophecies that all start the same way. He's not sure which ending it has."

"Well that's just fantastic!" Dean sarcastically says throwing his menu down.

"So the ending changes depending on our actions?" Davis pipes up placing her menu down and finally looking at the Angel.

"It appears so. But I can recite the first part of it for-"

"Welcome to Joe's Burger and Beds. What can I get for ya?" Cas was interrupted by a seemingly uninterested waitress. Her eyes quickly locked on Dean's. She smirked slightly and adjusted her posture so that her breasts were on better display.

"I'll have the Three Stacker Burger Lord with a beer." Dean proudly said handing her his menu watching her lean over the table to accept it making her cleavage more available.

Sam cleared his throat uncomfortably at the weird moment and ordered a vegan burger that was the healthiest option there. The waitress huffed when she caught sight of Davis across from Dean and tossed her bright blonde hair over her shoulder to reveal the name tag that read LeeAnn.

"I'll have a bacon cheeseburger please." Davis asked politely and then turned to Dean with a mischievous look on her face. "Did you want the loaded fries with your burger Honey?"

All of the men at the table dropped their mouths open at the question. Dean nodded and kept his eyes on Davis as she turned back to LeeAnn.

"Can he please have loaded fries with his order?" Davis had sweetness dripping from her words with her overly friendly smile.

LeeAnn nodded and quickly took Cas' order before shuffling to the kitchen fuming. Davis sat back giggling and looked at the men who all still had hanging jaws.

"What was that?" Sam asked slightly laughing now.

"She was going to be annoying us every five minutes wanting to flirt with Dean. So I figured I would handle it so we could talk privately." Everyone nodded at the half truth. Davis had wanted her to just leave them alone but it also was because she hated the way Dean had looked at the woman. She hated herself for feeling that way but she brushed it off.

"Good thinking." Dean didn't know how to feel. He had hoped to get some action tonight with the blonde but Davis had lit a fire he was unaware that could be lit. He wasn't one for the cutesy name calling but when she called him "honey" it changed something inside him.

"Alright Cas. Tell us what you know."

"Okay I'll quote the Prophecy the way Donatello told it to me. Just remember this isn't complete." Everyone nodded and Cas continued.

"The Winchester Brothers shall meet Ophelia Davis Lancaster in Wilmore, Kentucky. Once interaction has happened the beginning of eternally locking the gates of Hell will have commenced. All must be living to complete the process. If one member perishes then the lock disintegrates never to be created again."

"Ophelia Davis Lancaster." Sam mutters and Davis squirms a little in her seat. She wasn't ready to have that conversation yet.

The table stays eerily silent as they all take in the words. LeeAnn, the waitress, brings beers and then later everyone's food. Dean dives into the almost ten inch burger while the rest of the group picks sheepishly at their food.

"I know this isn't the best of news." Cas says apologetically. Dean snorts but stays quietly while taking another large bite.

Davis looks to the Angel with his sad blue eyes. She could tell that he has had to be a messenger of bad news way too often. It was hard for her to feel so bad for him but she did. Davis could tell that he was upset with himself and wanted to help. So in a moment of sympathy she put her hand on his across the table and slightly squeezed. His eyes shot up with confusion but quickly changed to thankfulness. Davis smiled at him before bringing her hand to her glass and taking a long drink of her beer.

Sam was so rattled with emotions. Davis was such an amazing person and she continued to surprise him. Sam could see that she had a traumatizing past with trust and with Angels but she still comforted Cas. He watched her pick off a slice of bacon from her burger and eat it. He smiled at the odd behavior and she looked up at him with her bright brown eyes. Sam smiled a little larger and she returned it making his heart flutter. Davis was such a whirlwind of beauty and grace.

"Move Cas. I need the can." Dean angrily instructed the Angel to move. Cas obliged and Dean stomped to the bathrooms.

Cas still standing sighed loudly and turned to Sam and Davis.

"I will meet you all back at the bunker in a few days. I'm going to see what I can do."

"Thanks Cas." Sam says and Davis nods in agreement. The Angel walks out of the restaurant unsure of his next move but decides Donatello is the best option for now.

After a few bites of the so-called vegan burger Sam pushes his plate away. Clearly vegan here meant adding veggies into the beef patty before cooking it. Sam looked to Davis as she was finished her plate.

"Why do you go by your middle name?"

"It's complicated." Davis answered but decided to give him a little more since he was giving her the most pitiful puppy dog eyes. "Long story short, my mom and dad were killed by a vampire. After their deaths I found out I was actually adopted and after years of researching I found out my father was a hunter. I decided to go by my middle name in case he knows what my first name is. I want to find him without him knowing who I am."

"Maybe we can help you. Our dad was a hunter that kept a journal. He talked about several hunters that he met along the way."

"That would be great but honestly he might be dead by now. My hopes aren't very high but it would be nice to just know who he was. Maybe then I could find my birth mother."

"So did you become a hunter because of your adopted parents death?" Sam thought back to the night Dean showed up at his door telling him that their father was missing. That was the night he unofficially became a hunter.

"Yeah. It was 10 years ago. A hunter came to investigate my parents death and I watched her kill the vampire who murdered them. She took me in when I begged her to. She died a few years later."

"I'm sorry."

"Thank you."

Davis felt such an amazing connection with Sam. He was such a kind and loving person. His consideration for her feelings made her feel so comforted and understood. She hadn't felt this way ever with someone and she loved how it felt.

Sam was lost in Davis' eyes and never wanted to look away. How had this short amount of time changed his heart to care for someone so deeply? She was everything he needed and wanted in his life. Their hands both came up to rest on the table slightly touching fingertips and Sam lost his breath for a moment.

"Where did Cas go?"

Dean enjoyed watching the two hunters scramble away from each other frantically. He had watched across the room for a few minutes as they had a deep conversation leaning in closer as the time passed. Walking up to them their faces were inching closer and his stomach was turning in rage.

"He didn't say." Sam answered adjusting himself further away from Davis.

"He is trying to help and you need to be nicer to him." Davis announced to Dean who was polishing off the scraps on his plate.

"I thought you didn't like Angels." Dean scoffed.

"I don't but Castiel is good. He only wants to help and you shouldn't be such a dick."

Sam chuckled at the vulgar name calling and Dean looked up surprised.

"Here's the check." LeeAnn tossed a paper on the table. Sam and Davis looked up to see that the blonde had her lipstick smeared around her lips and her hair and been ruffled a bit. Her shirt was now unbuttoned lower revealing even more of her breasts. LeeAnn winked at Dean and then glared at Davis before sauntering off.

"Dean… really?" Sam asked and Davis was confused.

"Dude she gets off in a few hours. I just did a quick test run."

Dean smirked thinking of how the blonde was so eager to get on her knees in the back room for him. Sam shook his eyes and threw cash on the table to cover the bill and tip. Davis sat there dumbfounded and when it finally clicked what had happened she threw Dean a disgusted look.

"What?" Dean asked liking that he got a reaction out of Davis.

"You don't even know her."

"I didn't but I do now." Dean wiggled his brow at Davis and Sam suggestively.

"What's her name?"

"Briana." Dean confidently said and Davis looked at him stunned by his stupidity. "Anyways Sammy. I'm gonna need the room to myself tonight. You'll need to get your own."

"I know. I'll see if we can get rooms opposite sides of the building." Sam sighed getting up from the table and waiting for Davis to follow him.

"Actually Sam, can we stay together?" Davis asked standing.

"Of 'course. If that's what you are comfortable with."

"I am. Thank you."

Davis took Sam by the arm not looking in Dean's direction and they made their way to the motel side of the building. She wasn't trying to make Dean jealous or insinuate anything. Davis actually wanted to talk to Sam more and hear his story.

"Are you trying to make my brother jealous?"

"No Sam. I actually wanted to talk to you more and I don't feel safe staying by myself."

"Okay. I just wanted to ask."

"I'm not interested in a relationship with anyone especially a hunter. It just doesn't work."

Sam nodded in agreement. Hunting and relationships never work but he knew that if he found a reason to quit hunting it would be because of a relationship. So maybe creating a relationship would create his chance of having that normal life he sometimes dreamed of. The only thing he had to figure out was this damn prophecy that loomed over them.
