Thank you for reading! I don't own any of Harry Potter! Please let me know if you enjoy!

Malfoy Manor had never seen a happier day.

Narcissa and Lucius had hired only the best caterers, party decorators, and musicians.

A wizard played an enchanted piano in the central parlor.

Chefs bustled around to make certain the food offerings that lined the rooms and hallways remained stocked and fresh.

Lucius had invited hundreds of people in an effort to celebrate his son's return home and the conclusion of the war.

The young man called Harry Potter, the Chosen One, was among the guests present that day.

Although Lucius pretended to scowl at the boy as he stood in front of his remaining close friends, he secretly harbored a great amount of gratitude towards him.

The Malfoys, like every family that had been forcibly held in Voldemort's grasp, credited Harry Potter with their liberation, whether they chose to openly admit it or not.

Hermione, Draco, and Scorpius were the guests of honor at the Malfoys' ball that celebrated the uniting of peoples.

Draco and Hermione must have told their love story a thousand times that day as they mingled and chatted with hundreds.

To Draco, it felt lovely to finally come home.

To Hermione, it felt good to be able to rest after the ball's attendees had finally left that evening.

Her parents had retired to the opulent suite that Lucius and Narcissa had offered them.

Hermione sat next to Draco while Scorpius slept on his lap as they spoke with Lucius and Narcissa.

Draco could sense that his mate wanted to lie down.

Out of consideration for his wife, he sought to keep the conversation polite yet short.

While Draco wanted his wife to have her proper rest, his parents had graciously allowed her and the Grangers to make Malfoy Manor their home until the construction on their own, new estates became complete.

Their chat lasted for less than half an hour before Narcissa smiled kindly and nodded at the couple, "You two must be exhausted from your trip. I can tell my grandson is quite fatigued! The poor dear…….Get some rest, won't you three? We can chat more tomorrow."

Hermione rose from her seat with a happy smile on her fair face, relieved to retire for the night as Draco stood beside her and cradled their sleeping son.

"Sorry, Mother, Father," Draco nodded at his parents, "We are quite tired, but you see, it's really more the four of us."

Lucius and Narcissa blinked before their eyes widened as Hermione smiled softly and laid a hand demurely over her flat belly.

As exhausted as she felt, Hermione blushed at the excited gasps of happy surprise that left Draco's parents' lips.

She laughed into the embrace that she exchanged with Narcissa a moment later.

In the privacy of their bedroom, Hermione felt herself slipping into a dreamy haze as she exchanged lazy kisses with her alpha while they lay in each other's arms.

"I love you, Hermione." Draco whispered against her lips, "You and our children…….You are my life…...Now that we've made it through the war, we can be a proper family at last."

"I love you too, Draco." Hermione confessed in a whispering sigh as she pulled away to stare into his grey gaze with her amber eyes, "You're my husband, my alpha…….my everything."

Draco sent his bride off to sleep with one last, meaningful kiss.

He pulled away when he felt her relax against him.

Lord Malfoy held his mate tightly as he closed his eyes.

Finally, Draco could enjoy the luxuries that his father and grandfather had known before him……..the joy of living, loving, and raising his family.
