After numerous requests by both officials and acquaintances alike, I have had no choice but to record my various meetings- and so called "adventure's"- in the opening days of Project Reweave. It seems for reasons enclosed that Miss Amberly Vales personal collection of my memoirs got out, and my skill as a writer has eclipsed my reputation as a hero.
Its just as well. Sitting behind a desk all day figuring out what words comes next is a lot less risky to one's health than fighting for the Imperium or- Emperor forbid- getting up to the various 'shenanigans' the locals here are prone to-
"Have you watched TTS?"
Caiphas Cain spun on his ambusher. Drastiae silently snickered at his shock.
Damn Aeldar, "You're lucky I'm unarmed." He scolded, turning back to the computer screen in front of him. "And no I haven't watched your Emperor forsaken propaganda. Stop asking."
"Hm," He felt Drastiae leaning on the back of his chair. After a moments thought her long arms descended in front of his face and started clattering away at the keyboard.

Editor's Note: This work has been edited by Drastiae first natural born Aeldari. I will be providing background information where necessary as much of our readership are likely unfamiliar with the broader cosmos my family has been raised with the knowledge of. For example: Shenanigans is a colloquial term hailing from the surviving members of 'Homestuck,' all of whom are family friends. The term refers to outlandish, unexpected, and often ridiculous adventures undertaken by both kids and adults alike, regardless of stature and nature. It also refers to various acts of mischief-
"Can you do that in the editing room?" Cain asked, seizing Drastiae by the wrists. She pouted but relented. Pulling her arms back. "Thank you." He went back to typing. "I'll have the first chapter done soon, so stop hovering." Drastiae seemed about to argue, but decided against it.
"All work and no play makes jack a dull boy," she commented. Her receding voice the only clue she was leaving. "I'll bring up a pot of tea in a bit."
"Thank you!" Cain sighed and glared at the screen. Jergen was still under Vulcan's tutelage, annoyingly enough. Though the Primarch had promised he would be returned to Cain's side as soon as possible. Until then, Drastiae would have to do.
She was okay at making Tannyth tea at least.
Now then, to work around her damn editor's note.
Author's note
Slams a pile of paperwork on my dusty old desk. "Well! It's been awhile since I've been back here-hack!Hgggh!Kah!" Clears throat. "I've got a lot of work to do, and it seems the insert line option is missing. Ergo these notes are going to be far and few between. So! Welcome to a small slice of my crossover-cosmos. This particular story will be one of many in what I call the Cradle Chronicles, which focuses far more extensively on the children and their guardians mentioned in this story. For now though, I have been listening to Cain's adventures, so Cain's perspective we'll do. While other properties will be mentioned, for example Homestuck, they are unlikely to make an appearance aside from small references. Seeing a grey skinned Xeno with orange horns for example. Not enough to be considered a true crossover. Rest assured the broader story is in development as we speak. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask in the comments section below! All thoughts (aside from harassment) are welcome and encouraged."
