Summary: The Grindelwald War had ended. This is what happens after.

After Newt woke up from a magically induced coma, Anna sealed the Elder Wand into a box in her Gringotts Vault.

She deemed her original wand as perfectly adequate, wishing that the mystery and legend of the Elder Wand would die with the War Against Grindelwald.

Tom Marvolo Dubois graduated the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with 11 O's in his N.E.W.T.s at the top of his class. The whole Dubois-Scamander family attended the Graduation Ceremony, Anna and Newt under a few self-Transfiguration spells and accompanied by their son and Theseus Scamander along with Newt's niece and nephew, Artemis Kallisto Scamander, and Apollo Laius Scamander.

Marin was sorted into Hufflepuff in the following year, to the joy of Newt and Anna, but to the disappointment from Tom, who then shrugged and started talking about how great snakes were. Tom then went to complete a mastery in a magical university, applying to the Defense Against the Dark Arts position in Hogwarts after graduating.

What he didn't know was that Anna threatened Dumbledore beforehand, telling the old professor that if he didn't convince Headmaster Dippet to hire Tom, she'd curse his tongue, so he'd never enjoy another candy. It was a fate worse than death.

Tom did get the job to the delight from the whole Scamander family, especially Marin. After the war, Dumbledore was able to wrangle the Ministry into believing that both Anna and Newt were sabotaging Grindelwald's side, working to take him down. The two were awarded an Order of Merlin, First Class, exonerating their actions during the War.

Through Anna's connections, Pokémon were soon labeled as endangered and protected creatures by the Ministry. After the acts were passed, Anna released most of the Pokémon that were hatched in her old basement, creating spaces around the world that Pokémon could live away from humans if they wanted to.

Theseus never remarried, too busy teaching his son how to become the next Lord Scamander in the Wizengamot, and his daughter on pureblood etiquette. They were sorted to Ravenclaw two years after Marin entered Hogwarts.

In that time, Anna still hadn't visibly grown older, even as Newt had more grey than red in his hair. She had told him about her suspicions of the Legendaries of her old world, of seeing the Rainbow Pokémon with her own eyes, and the legend that surrounded Ho-Oh, of the reborn Legendary Dogs, of Team Flare and their plot of Project AZ.

Every year she wore a constant glamour of aging, aware of Tom's fear of Death. She knew that if Tom suspected her of immortality, he'd break his own soul to pieces.

Even after the war, she never stopped looking at the future, always intent on knowing what was possible. Anna made Newt swear that he'd never reveal the cause of her immortality or her possession of the Elder Wand and Resurrection Stone.

It was 1954, and Marin had graduated a few years earlier. He decided he wanted to follow his parent's work, what he'd been doing since he was old enough to feed the young Pokémon that roamed his childhood home's grounds. Marin Richard Theseus Scamander was intent on becoming the world's first Pokémon Researcher and Magizoologist.

Anna didn't stop taking care of her Pokémon, even as her original partners aged and had children of their own. She had Newt by her side, Tom teaching at Hogwarts while Marin was happily exploring new heights of Pokémon research.

Newt and Anna had created the Scamander Wizarding Orphanage to house orphans from the Grindelwald War, and had an education system built around Muggleborn children to bridge the gap between the Magical and Nonmagical world. A list was also created for magical orphans of muggle backgrounds in an attempt to prevent situations like Tom's, who would have become a Dark Lord without the Scamander's intervention.

It took nearly thirty years and a war for Anabel Dubois, once Annabell Evelyn Ride, to be happy, and she wouldn't give it up for the world.

July 31, 1997

Time had flown by so quickly, Anna mused, as she woke up early in the morning. A quick spell showed the date, and there was an urge that there was something she had to do.

Today was Harry James Potter's 17th birthday, and the Potters had invited the Scamanders over to celebrate. With a quick kiss to Newt's cheek, she Apparated to Diagon Alley, reappearing not too far from Gringotts bank.

Retrieving the Elder Wand and Resurrection Stone wasn't difficult, getting both items in under an hour. Finding a box to hold the Stone wasn't hard either, Anna using magic to wrap it quickly.

Getting the rest of the Scamander family to Potter Manor took another couple of hours, Anna under her 'old' disguise, which was more or less what she'd look like in her fifties. Wizarding aging was amazing.

Finding the birthday boy wasn't exactly difficult, a boy with dark hair and Killing Curse green eyes. She watched as he was smothered in hugs from his friends and family, people she knew had a different path if she hadn't adopted Tom.

"The man of the hour," she said loudly, the boy turning to her voice, "Hadrian James Potter. Happy birthday."

Hadrian, or Harry to his friends, was a newly minted adult, a tanned avid Quidditch player who had one more year of Hogwarts before graduating. According to Tom, the boy was the perfect candidate for being an Auror. As a Gryffindor, he was very well liked among the other Houses, even some of the Slytherins were amicable to the Potter Heir.

"Hello," he said pleasantly, a warm undertone with a lilting candace, "Thank you for coming. You're Professor Scamander's mum, right? He's a wonderful teacher."

"He does take after me, I suppose," Anna shrugged, "I want to bet a wager, Potter." She summoned the Elder Wand into her hand, and a curious blink from Harry doesn't show any fear from the wand she's holding.

"What kind of wager?" the boy asks, green eyes lighting up with a hint of mischief.

"I bet you this stone, that I can disarm you faster than you can disarm me," the older woman grinned, the Resurrection Stone in her other palm. "You can even keep the wand I have in my hand."

"Is that alright?" Harry summons his own wand into his hand, challenge accepted. His parents are watching the exchange, as the two step ten feet apart, wands at the ready.

Anna knew the boy wouldn't let her down, even as her perceived age slowed her reflexes a hair. The Elder Wand is torn out of her grip, a smile is on her face, as Harry holds the Death Stick in his other hand.

"Wow. You're incredibly fast," she commented, her ebony wand appearing from her second holster.

"Thanks. You're not so bad yourself," Harry grinned to match her smile, "The Disarming charm is pretty bloody useful."

"I know. I'll see you sometime else, Heir Potter," Anna grinned back, satisfied.

She liked this future.

And so this was how her story would end, and she was happy.
