Chapter 4

JD was playing on street when he saw a harmed girl. He rushed to help her. Werecats arm was bleeding and it seemed broken as well. "Don't worry. I'll help you." JD sat down next to her. He knew that the easiest way to help her is to use magic. Unfortunately for him, using magic was forbidden in Mognavia. Soon someone grabbed him. The girl was luckily healed and ran away.

"Let me go!" Shouted James and tried to kick the person off. "Shut up, or you'll make it worse!" It was a man. He covered his mouth. "For such a small kid your magic is quite strong. If you want to I can teach you some spells." JD turned around. There was a man in uniform with military badge standing in front of him. "You are..." "What's going on?!" Teacher ran to James. "Go back to classroom immediately!" She shouted at him. "My apologies sir..." She noticed his badge and bowed down. "Nice to meet you sir Arnold. What takes you here?" JD was jaw-dropped. What was leader of the country doing here. "There's not much of a job for me to do after princess Rosa passed away. So I've decided to make sure there's nothing bad happening in the city." " It was a lost for us all." Said the teacher. The leader looked at James. "I would like to borrow that boy for a while." James swallowed. Teacher didn't know, what to say, but she could not oppose someone so important. Before she could answer James left with leader.

He took him away from the city centre. „What do you want from me? " Asked James. „Calm down kid. You can call me Bill. "James was confused. „You're an leader, I can't..."„I'm dark just like you. Listen kid, I saw you using magic. " „The girl was hurt and I had to help her. Please sir don't hurt me, my mom is sick... "„Here! " Bill throw a bag of money at JD. "There are yours. But next time, you do something for me!" James stared at him. "Every day at 3 O'clock we'll meet. I will teach you about magic. I haven't seen a talent like yours for ages." "Thank you." "Don't leave yet. I have one small question." Bill took out an picture from his pocket and pack of cigarettes. "Do you know who that is?" "No." Bill sighed. "Looks like I have to teach you history classes as well. We'll meet here tomorrow. Now go home so your mother won't be worried.
