/ Author's Note - this is a one-shot in support of our new TV-verse Annabeth! I'm not an artist, but wanted to contribute my art form to her support.

While the rest of my stories show book-canon Annabeth, I wanted to give a cute snippet of TV-verse Annabeth. So, here's what I think would've happened when Percy returned from Calypso's island in BotL. Enjoy!

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" Annabeth stormed over, shoving aside anyone in her way. I know there was a lot going on, you know, what with the magic raft, and friendly great white sharks, and seeing my own funeral, but one thought stood out to me as Annabeth hugged me tight enough to break my ribs.

"You're…. Not blonde." I stammered. I hadn't really thought about it, but this was the first time I hadn't seen Annabeth with braided blonde hair. She wasn't naturally blonde - her hair was actually really dark and tightly curled. It was cute, and stunning and -

She pulled away from me and stared at me like I was a zombie. "You aren't dead and THAT'S what you care about?!"

Her dark hair somehow made her eyes even more intense. How is that even possible? I mean -

"Seaweed brain! Are you listening?"

"Uh….. yeah."

Annabeth grabbed my shoulders. "Then what the heck happened to you? I - we thought you were dead!"

"Oh, uh, I got lost. And I'm fine. And you aren't blonde." Curse my ADHD, when it fixates on something, it really fixates on it.

"LOST? Two weeks, Percy? Where in the world -"

"Let's talk at the Big House." Chiron said kindly, turning Annabeth and I towards the building. "It'll be more private."

Annabeth stalked ahead of me, muttering curses in Ancient Greek, and Latin, and maybe some other languages as well. I stared at Chiron. "Did you know she isn't blonde?"

"Yes, my boy."

I followed Annabeth. "How do you think she does that? Like, is it a spray, or a magic power, or what?"

Chiron just sighed and followed us to the Big House.
