When she awoke again, the room was empty save for Tony sitting in on the chair in the corner. Raising her hand, she rubbed the sleep out of them as she let out a breath that turned into a yawn.
"Was wondering how long you would be asleep for, are you alright?" He didn't look up from the electronics that his fingers were moving over.
"I-" Lia paused, "I'm alright considering where I am."
"Meaning?"
She sighed, running a hand over her face and blowing a slow breath out. "It would be better to get everyone in here to explain it better."
A couple of seconds later, multiple pairs of footsteps sounded against the tile. Steve, Natasha and Clint entered the room.
"It's not easy to explain so I'll just outright say it. I'm from a different universe or to put it better a different reality."
"Can you explain that better," Natasha said as she walked a bit closer. Lia followed the woman, not helping that her eyes went up and down the spys legs. 'Now isn't the time for it.'
"All this, you and everyone. It's all fiction for me. A movie franchise and comics. It's not supposed to be real."
She took some deep breaths. "I don't know why I'm here or how I even got here but I think I'm here for a reason."
"What's your name? I can see if theres anything on you." Tony spoke as he moved his fingers over the device.
"Amelia Kingston." Lia coughed, covering it with her hand. Natasha handed her a cup filled with water.
A shake from him told her that she didn't exist in this universe. A sigh.
"I'll be able to get you everything that makes it seem like you've always been here. Just, let me take care of it." The older man looked at her, and she nodded.
With a smile, he left the room, no doubt on his way to work his magic. Steve took the chair now.
Lia could see they were dying to ask questions, and she had some of her own.
"Spill." She pushed herself further upright and leaned more against the pillow.
"How old are you?"
"Where are you from?"
"So you know about us, everything we've done, our past and the future?"
"Who's your favorite?"
The last one had her laughing.
"I'm from Earth, I mean obviously. It was late January 2022 and I was 20. I appear the same so I think I kept my body and did go into like a ten year old version of mine. That would have been weird." She paused, running her tongue over her teeth. "I only know what they show us. But yes about all your pasts, I know. I know what has happened over the last few months and I know what's going to happen. I know that I'm not supposed to change things, or I think that's how it works but I'm going to try."
She took another drink of water, somehow already feeling exhausted again. "As for my favorite, I can't pick." Her lips curled into a smile.
"How are you feeling," Clint asked as she caught his gaze. Concern shown in his eyes.
"I mean considering the fact that I have transferred realities and talking to people who I thought were fictional characters and only passed out once? I'm thinking I'm doing okay." She shook her head softly, "But seriously, I'm doing okay."
They talked for a bit longer before she found herself unable to keep her eyes open.
She could explain more to them after her nap.
