A/N: Only own my character. Reviews are most welcome

When Melody finished mending a dress she went to the back to get a new garment. When she turned around Riker was standing in the doorway, smiling. "You rip your pants again Commander?"

"I've told you it's Will."

"Commander, Sir, if you aren't here for me to mend something. I need you to leave so I can do my work." Going to her workstation.

Riker sat on the corner of Melody's table. "I've come to see the most beautiful woman in the galaxy."

"You couldn't wait to tell me that when I'm not at work?"

"I couldn't wait any longer to bask in your beauty."

Looking up at him. "Sir, you should leave. I'm not going to blush and I have work I need to finish."

"If you promise to meet me tonight on holdodeck seven."

Melody stood up from her seat. "It depends if I finish my work on time or not." She began pushing Riker to the door. "Now leave."

"You didn't promise." Grabbing for the door frame kept Melody from pushing him any further.

"Melody, why are you pushing Commander Riker?" A deep voice called from a now open office door.

Spinning towards it. "I was attempting to get Commander Riker to leave sir. I have work I'm trying to finish."

"I'm sorry for Melody's behavior. I don't know what has gotten into her. She's normally so polite."

"I'm sorry…"

"Lyle. My name is Lyle, Commander Riker."

"Don't blame Melody Lyle. It's my fault she's trying to push me out the door."

Lyle eyed the two suspiciously. "If you say so, Commander."

Melody hit Riker in the arm. "What is wrong with you? Why must you be so difficult?" She angrily crossed her arms.

"The same reason you like that I am." Moving so Melody was pressed against the wall. Placing his hands on either side of her. Riker smiled down at Melody. "You're turned on by it."

"I'm not going to blush at this. You can stop and leave now."

Keeping his hands where they were Riker moved so they were inches apart. "How about now?"

"Nope."

Riker sighed but keep a smile on his face. "I'm going to get you to blush."

"I wish you luck." Melody went back to her desk.

His hands linked behind his back. "Well, I'll see you tonight on holodeck seven."

"I never said I would!" Riker smirked leaving the room.

It was late when Melody left work the night. She was tugging at the sleeves of her shirt as she stepped through the door to the hallway. "I've been waiting for you." Riker pushed off the wall he was leaning against.

"I told you I was busy sir."

"I admire that you're a hard worker. It's also good to have a little fun too."

Still tugging nervously on her sleeves. "Thank you."

"What has you so nervous?" Taking her hands into his.

"You're so mean, you know why."

Riker laughed. "We both know I'm not."

"I was hoping you'd forget."

"Now who's being mean?"

"Come on Commander Riker! Haven't I embarrassed myself enough?"

Rubbing one of his thumbs over the knuckles of Melody's hands. "You can't deny you had fun. And would like to repeat what we did."

"You're incorrigible." Melody rolled her eyes at him.

The two stood in front of holodeck seven. "Now Melody, what captivating simulation do you have this time? Something with swimwear again?" Riker brought up Melody's list of simulations.

"You are aware you seeing these is like sharing my diary."

"Let's hope I get you to blush." Smirked Riker as he picked one of the simulations.

"You are so mean disguised in a pretty body and sweet personality." They both entered the holodeck.

Looking around. "You flatter me." Riker joked taking in the room. They were in a beautiful park. In the distance a white wooden gazebo with a creek flowed by. Seats were lined up in front of it. When Riker looked back at Melody her face was hidden by the collar of her shirt she had pulled up. "What is this?"

Shaking her head. "Please let's not do this one." Her voice was slightly muffled from the cloth of her shirt.

Riker went over to Melody, pulling her shirt down. Her face beat red. "Oh, your face is telling you need to tell me about this simulation."

"Oh please no."

"You know by not telling me. You are prolonging us standing here."

Looking to the gazebo before back at Riker. "Keep in mind I got the idea from a romance novel a friend lent me."

"A romance novel? Really?"

Melody hit Riker in the arm. "You're the one making me do this."

Holding up his hand. "Ok I'm sorry, carry on."

"As I was saying. There was a certain part in the book that I read. I wanted to reenact it. I replaced one of the characters with you."

"That doesn't sound too bad."

Melody's nose scrunched. "Well, about that. Your character stops me from marrying one of the other characters during the ceremony."

"Is that all?" The corner of his mouth went up.

"You're on a horse and it's a period piece," Melody said quickly.

Riker's eyebrows shot up. "I'm on a house!"

"I told you that sharing this is like sharing my diary. You can't be surprised when I have you doing things like ride a horse during a period piece."

Scrunching at his beard. "How dead set are you on that horse?"

"How dead set are you on embarrassing and making me blush?"

"Exceedingly."

Crossing her arms. "Than the horse stays because you are so dead set on doing these."

Melody was looking at herself in the mirror. She wore an ivory dress with an intrcate silver design done on the bodice. Hearing a knock on the door. "Come in." She called.

She saw through the mirror her mother enter the room. "You look beautiful." She complimented when she took in her daughter's appearance.

"Thank you."

"Mr. Frank is a great choice darling. He has money and comes from a good family."

Melody sighed. "I know mother. So you've reminded me a hundred times." The two were interrupted by one of the maids. They were told it was time to leave.

When they reached the gazebo everyone else was already there. Melody's dad was waiting to walk her down the aisle. After her mom took her seat music began playing announcing everyone to stand. The two walked down the aisle with all eyes on them. When they reached the gazebo her dad took his seat as well as everyone else. The couple stood before each other holding hands as the priest began his speech.

Everything came to a screeching halt when Riker came riding up on an onyx horse. He wore black books that came up halfway up his calves, tan pants, and a white loose-fitting shirt. A few people gasped while Melody's dad stood up. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm sorry Frank. I can't go through with this." Melody hiked up her dress before running down the aisle towards Riker. He held out a hand that Melody gladly took and helped her up on the horse. When Riker felt Melody wrap her arms around him, he took off.

The two found shelter in an abandoned building when it began raining. After Riker took care of the horse, he went inside to find Melody. He found her by one of the broken windows watching the rain, her head turning to him when she heard his footsteps. "You look absolutely beautiful." He told her.

She bit her bottom lip as she smiled. "I can't believe you came for me."

"Knowing that it wasn't going to be me making you smile every day or laugh…" Cupping her face when he closed the gap between them. "Or me you were waking up to every morning. I couldn't let that happen." Melody's whole face flushed as they kissed.

Riker pinned Melody to a nearby wall. She could feel the warmth of his hands through the fabric of her dress as she felt him lift her dress up. Feeling Riker's rough callous hands work their way up, grazing her bare skin. The sensation of Riker's touch excited Melody more than she thought.

She was set down for a few moments when she reached for his pant. Only to moments later be lifted back up once the two were free of some of their clothes. She wrapped her legs tightly around Riker's waist, moaning in Riker's ear when she felt him enter her. Hearing her excitement escape her mouth and make its way to his ears excited him. Riker wanted to hear more from Melody.

He moved them to the floor. By now the rain had stopped and the sun was shining. It shown through the window basking the two in its warm glow. Melody's hands went to Riker's back, he pinned them above her head. "You're so mean."

Chuckling as he trailed kisses along her jawline. "The scratch marks you left on my back from last time. They took a while to heal."

"You need more." Melody laughed trying to move her hands again.

Riker wouldn't let up his grip on her. Keeping her hands above her head. He chuckled kissing her chin and down her neck, Melody's skin felt so soft and nice. Occasionally nibbling her ear lobe. Her smell was intoxicating.

Yet out of everything, Melody felt so good when he was inside her. Her moans only made it so much better.

This time Riker wanted to keep a steady pace. Make this moment last. Though it was very hard to do. "You feel amazing." Riker moaned in her ear.

"You too…." Melody uttered thrusting up when he thrust into her. Biting her bottom lip after moaning. "Will."

"Say it again. Say my name."

"Will! Oh, God Will!" Hearing his name on Melody's moaning lips sent Riker over the edge. Melody soon followed after him.

Both sweaty from their act, Melody tucked an arm under her head as she laid on her side. Riker used his arm as a pillow, wrapping his free hand around Melody's waist. The sun still shining on them. "I'll have to remember this one. You look amazing in that wedding dress."

"You wouldn't the saying that if I went 100% authentic. Because you would have had a lot of clothing to get through under the dress."

Riker laughed. "This is why I like you. Out of everything I said that's what you focus on."

"As you've noticed I'm not a normal female." Melody joked looking back at Riker.

Riker leaned forward kissing Melody. "It's what makes me so attracted to you."
