It was Monday afternoon. Thatch had left Casper earlier in the morning and went back to the school. He didn't like leaving him, but the ghost assured him he'd be ok, and he'd be well enough to return home after 11 or so.

Thatch still didn't like leaving him, but he had to go back home so he could tell his mom he was ok. It was a bit unsettling to leave Casper in a strange world, still weak, with his only help being a creepy skeletal 8 foot ram thing. It didn't sound very safe…

God, affection does things to the nerves, doesn't it?

So right now Thatch was in batform, flying laps around the school, trying to work out that anxious energy. Then he flew past the small window of Casper and Ra's dorm. He had to do a double take and basically make an U turn to go back to the window.

Casper was back!

Annnd he was wearing a maid uniform.

Mind you, not one of "those" maid outfits, but an actual normal maid uniform.

But a maid outfit is a maid outfit.

Thatch quickly landed on the rim of the window and pulled it open. He sat on the window seal and proceeded to wolf whistle.

The ghost had been looking in a wardrobe, facing away from the window. At the whistle, he spun around, alarmed and looking embarrassed. He spotted the bat.

"What are you wearing!?" Thatch exclaimed with a grin.

"Shuuuh!" Casper gestured for the other to quiet down.

The vampire jumped down to the ground, shifting into his normal form whilst doing so.

"Why are you in a maid outfit-aww, don't vanish! You looked so good!" Thatch looked around the room excitedly, trying to figure out where Casper disappeared to.

"You weren't supposed to see me in this!" the ghost stated in a panic.

"Why do you even have it on?!" the vampire laughed.

Casper went visible again, though it seemed unintended. He looked tired. Thatch switched from happy to concerned. He approached the other.

"You ok?"

"Yeah, I'm just still very weak." The ghost nodded tiredly.

"Alright…nowwhyareyouwearingthat!?" The vampire switched back to excited, closing the space between the two by half pinning the other against the wardrobe.

"Wendy's aunt was right, men are animals." Casper rolled his eyes as Thatch ogled him.

After explaining why a maid outfit had been necessary to break into Kibosh's castle, Casper told Thatch to head on down to the cafeteria. He'd meet him down there, as well as Ra and Mantha. Most of the students were at lunch, as at 1:00, Anti Ghoul was going to make an announcement to the school, so everyone was eating while they could.

Thatch ended up waiting in front of the door to the cafeteria. He was waiting on Casper, but also Sibella. Mainly Sibella. He had some things to talk about with her about. She wasn't in the cafeteria, so he was hoping he'd catch her at the entrance.

He had been leaning on a pillar whilst staring at his phone, only paying enough attention to see who walked past.

He felt an arm wrap around his.

"I told you to go on to lunch, you didn't have to wait for me, I'm fine now you know." Casper smiled sweetly at the other.

"In fairness, I was waiting for Sibella, I've got some things to talk with her about-oh, there she is."

"Oh right, Sibella! Oh no…" Casper went wide eyed, and if he could have gone paler, he would have.

"Yeah, that's right, you stole her boyfriend." Thatch smirked down at him.

"That's not funny!" The ghost huffed.

The purple haired vampire walked over, her usual calm smile on her face. Casper couldn't help but tighten his hold on the others arm in a protective manner. He felt a bit terrified that somehow he'd lose Thatch to her…

She was so amazing after all…and he was just…himself.

"Hello you two." Sibella smiled warmly, giving a little wave.

"Hi, so, uh. Me an-" Thatch was interrupted by the other vampire.

"I'm glad to see you two came to your senses." She grinned proudly.

"Huh?" Both Casper and Thatch muttered.

"Oh, I'm an empath. I can sense emotions. It's a rare ability that vampires can have. I knew you two were smitten with each other." She explained bluntly.

"Oh…wait, then why did you ask him out if you knew?" Casper raised a brow.

"Well, I didn't know at first, and I genuinely thought Thatch was quite cute. But, I figured it out when you two returned from the woods after I ran that monster catcher test run. You two felt very flustered and affectionate."

"Ah…" The two boys blushed.

"Wait, you did that?! You're with…" The ghost looked around for anyone listening. "anti ghoul?" he whispered.

"I'm a junior volunteer. Not many wanted to volunteer to go into Maine, not with Kibosh's one way shields still up, but I did. I was perfect for securing the school. I snuck up to the hidden attic using old blueprints, then hacked into the monster catcher. I had to make sure it could catch all the students and then put them back without knowing. It was a more trustworthy route than a simple sleep spell. after all, if Kibosh got to the school, he'd use a teacher or student as leverage. In the monster catcher they'd be safe." She explained.

"Oh…" The ghost nodded slightly, thinking about it.

Then Thatch raised a brow as a thought came to his head.

"Well, if you found out then. Why did you keep dating me? Why didn't you say anything about it?" The grey vampire tilted his head.

She gave a tilted smile at him.

"Because you're stubborn. I knew if I said anything, you'd likely deny it, and try even harder to fight it. But by continuing to romance you, you'd realize for yourself that I didn't make you happy. He did. And I couldn't tell Casper, because he's too selfless. I felt guilt on him. He's scared of messing up someone's life, likely you're included." She explained.

The boys just stared and blinked at her.

Alright, just expose them like that why don't you?

"Well, we all better go eat. After the announcement I have to start packing, as my job is done so I must go back to my old school." She added with a bittersweet smile.

"We'll be sad to see you go." The ghost smiled at her warmly.

"Yeah, you were very helpful for tricking people." The grey vampire smirked.

The ghost elbowed Thatch whilst Sibella chuckled.

Casper entered the cafeteria and found himself being bear hugged by Ra and Mantha. Thatch figured they'd want to chat, so he went to sit with Slither and Dummygirl. Dummy had spotted him and had a confused expression on her face.

"Yo, why'd you blow up my phone with such worried messages?" She asked with an annoyed expression.

"Oh, I got them too. Didn't see them until now though." Slither added, fumbling with his phone.

They were not designed for tentacles…

"I was at my house when the entire school was knocked unconscious. And then Kibosh was attacked, all the websites and crap were down. Of course I blew up your phones, I had no idea what the hell was going on." The vampire explained.

"Aww, he was worried about us." Dummy turned to Slither, smirking mockingly. The snake creature snickering.

"Shut up." Thatch rolled his eyes. "So…you two… ok?"

"Well, we all slept through an entire day, so my internal clock feels vaguely messed up. I guess this is how Slither feels all the time." The doll joked.

"Hey." Slither scowled.

Thatch and Dummy snickered.

The ghost smiled sweetly as Ra and Mantha let go of him.

"We're so glad you're back! We missed ya!" Ra beamed.

"I was only gone one night." Casper chuckled.

"Yeah, but you had been super hurt. We knew you were ok, but we still worried." The mummy continued.

"I don't like to worry you, but it does warm my heart to know you care." Casper smiled sweetly.

"Of course we care." Mantha smiled warmly.

"I know; I still feel warmed none the less." He grinned warmly, blushing a bit.

"After Alder and Dash's announcements, we're taking you to that smoothie place you like!" She stated determinedly.

"You guys don't have to do that." The ghost chuckled.

"Oh, but we are. You got messed up, you deserve a smoothie." The mummy nodded.

"I guess I can't get outta it, huh?" Casper sighed.

"Nope." The other two smiled.

Everybody had filed into the auditorium and was waiting for the announcement to start. The room quieted down as Alder and Dash approached the microphone.

"Students, as you all know by now, Kibosh has been dethroned. Kibosh was, well, kiboshed. Underworld city and the rest of the monster community of Maine has joined with the Cryptid Council, whom are an alliance of various monster communities. As such, the school system has had some changes." Dash started.

"While you were all out cold via a spell, the teachers had been woken up and interviewed, including us. Upon seeing their demands were reasonable, and we didn't have much of a choice, we have agreed to them and been compliant. Now, the new vice principle will tell you the rest." Alder concluded, and the two stepped away from the microphone.

A ginger bipedal sphinx in a red dress suit approached the microphone.

"Greetings, I am Miss Furlicidy Catseye. I am a retired member of Anti Ghoul, and have been chosen to watch over this school on they're behalf. If you have any concerns, please ask me. Before I continue with the changes to the school, I'd like to say that some members of Anti Ghoul are your age. You are the students, your point of view is important, so they helped us create these changes with you all in mind. The changes are not drastic, as we do not wish to overwhelm you." She explained.

She paused to let everyone react and whisper amongst themselves.

"The biggest change is the addition of a new class. When analyzing the school, we realized you have no literature class. Literature is very important for your learning abilities and your history. Don't worry though, the new class syllabus is very light. All you'll have is an extra paper a week. Now, I shall give the podium back to you headmasters so that they might introduce the teacher line up." She concluded, stepping away from the mic.

"Frankingymteacher is staying, as well as Miss Hopper, and most of the gargoyles. The three new teachers are-"

"Three?" Casper looked between Ra and Mantha confused.

"Sigmund Silverhood, the new literature teacher."

A headless man walked out from behind the curtain and over to the side of the stage. He seemed to be a phantom.

"Miss Spellma, the new science teacher."

A young woman with black hair in cone buns walked out onto the stage. Her eyes were navy blue, and her outfit looked like a modern take a Victorian outfit. It was a navy blue petticoat jacket.

Casper blinked.

Huh, one of Wendy's aunts. This was going to be interesting…Wait, what happened to-

"And new school therapist, Dr. Herse."

A nervous man walked out onto the stage. He had rectangle glasses and a classic wizard outfit.

Casper froze. He had no idea how Anti Ghoul knew about him, but that "Dr. Herse", was Dr. Harvey. Whom was currently surrounded by a bunch of capable monsters that hated fleshsys, and didn't seem too thrilled about a counselor either…

Alder and Dash let Furlicity have the mic again.

"Before I let the new teachers introduce themselves, I need to point out something. Mr Burns is banned from the school for a variety of charges. Abusing students, lack of safety precautions, and refusing to comply to new teaching guidelines. He was also a wanted criminal by the Dragon Council for inhuman experiments before he joined the school. If you see him on or around the property, alert either the authorities or school staff, and stay far away from him, he's a highly dangerous criminal." She explained.

"Now, your new teachers will introduce themselves. Spellma?"

The black haired woman excitedly bounded towards the mic.

"HI! I'm your new science teacher! Don't worry, you're in good hands! I'm fixing up the classroom so you all won't have to fear near death experiences from failed experiments anymore!" she explained energetically.

Moss head gave out a happy whoop.

He may or may not be the one was known for failing experiments and accidently setting himself on fire...

Next, the headless phantom approached the mic.

"Hello, I'm you're new Literature teacher. My class won't start for two weeks; this way you can get used to the new schedule. Instead of Miss hopper in the morning, it's my class. After my class is history, then lunch, then science, then exercise. After that you're all free for the day. It is recommended that in these two weeks you come to my classroom and sign your name each morning, as a way to get your internal clocks properly set." The headless man explained…somehow.

"Oh, uh, hi. I'm Dr Ha-Herse. Dr Herse. I'm here to look after your mental health, both of teachers and students. Now, none of you are required to go. Except for teachers, who must see me once a month, as asked by Anti Ghoul. But, I highly encourage the students to come and talk with me. I'm here to help. I know that Kibosh's rule has left some mental scars, some you're perhaps not even aware of, so I'm here to help you get through them. So, if you ever need to get something off your chest, I'll be in my office from 9:30-6:30. Uh, I hope you all have fantastic day." Dr Harvey explained, trying to not seem nervous.

Casper was gonna have to stop by his office and ask him some questions after this announcement…

"Alright students. This concludes the announcements for today. This news will also be posted on the news boards in the cafeteria and main hall." Alder stated.

"Dismissed!" Dash concluded.

"Well, those changes were…interesting." Mantha muttered, a bit confused.

"Yeah, they didn't seem too bad. But we'll see how they turn out…Now, to the smoothie shop!" Ra explained happily.

"Oh, right! Before we go, I gotta do two things real quick. I'll meet you by the docs, ok?" Casper smiled.

The other two nodded.

"Alright, see you at the docs!" the zombie grinned, and then she and Ra walked off towards the docs.

The ghost had two things to do. First thing was to talk to Dr Harvey about this…

Apparently, Harvey was the only monster therapist in Maine. Anti Ghoul could have just brought in one from another state, but apparently Wendy recommended him. She figured if a human could get the ghostly trio to listen to him from time to time, then he must be really good at his job.

Casper voiced his concerns about safety to Dr Harvey, but the Doctor waved him off and said he would be fine. The ghost would have to just hope he was right…

Alright, Casper had one more thing to do before meeting his friends by the docs. He left Harvey's office and flew to the main hall. He looked around and spotted Thatch, whom had just walked out the front the doors. The ghost quickly flew after him, phasing through the wooden doors. The vampire was half way down the staircase.

"Thatch, wait, I got something to ask you!" Casper smiled, landing next to him.

"Oh, there you are. Yeah, what you wanna ask?" Thatch gave a slight smile.

The ghost blushed a bit, looking away for a moment and fumbling with the ends of his sleeves. He looked back up at the other with a sweet smile.

"So, would you like to go ice skating Wednesday evening? There's an ice rink in Deedstown." Casper asked warmly.

The vampire grinned teasingly.

"Oh, are you asking me on a date?" he raised a brow with a smirk.

The ghost rolled his eyes, still holding a warm smile on his face.

"Yes. Yes I am." he replied simply and sweetly.

"Well then yes, yes I would." Thatch answered simply, a genuine warm tone to his voice.

Bonus; (this joke is gonna be a lot funnier when I get to wright a few prequel drabbles. But for now, what you should know is that Wolfie keeps walking in on Casper and Thatch in suspicious scenarios/moments, and then Casper had to try and explain what was really going on. XD)

Wolfie walked out the front door and headed down the stairs. After like 4 steps, he noticed Thatch and Casper at the bottom, in a liplock.

"Uhhh!" he sputtered.

The two turned to look at him out of confusion.

"Ok, what story you gonna try and spin this time? That a snake bit Thatch on the mouth, and you had to suck out the poison?" the wolf crossed his arms with a sarcastic tone.

"No, we're dating now. " Casper was interrupted.

"I KNEW IT!" Wolfie exclaimed

"No, wait, we only started rec-"

"I KNEW IT! I FLIPPING CALLED IT!"
