AN: Welcome back to another week of me trying to get Kacy back together because the writers have slow burned me to a crisp. On this week's episode, a bit of ridiculously jealous Lucy and some Jane and Kate love…calm down, not that type of love. I hope you enjoy!

Jane smiled over at Kate before taking a sip from her wine glass. It was a beautiful, serene evening and the view from Kate's balcony was as picturesque as she said it would be. Both had long weeks at work, something that had become a bit of a routine for them lately, and Jane sighed.

"I'm glad we decided to do this," admitted Jane.

"I'm glad you finally came to your senses."

"Okay, don't get too cocky."

"I told you I'm good." Jane arched an eyebrow at her as she shifted to face her.

"And I told you I'm better."

"Well, I mean, I'm sure you've had more life experience than me so…"

"Did you just call me old?"

"Sorry, I mean, more…practice," teased Kate before taking a sip from her glass and Jane's jaw dropped.

"You asshole."

"Kind of takes one to know one."

"And I know one. You." Kate shook with mirth and sighed.

"You still haven't said the words, though."

"Pretty sure I just called you a…"

"Kate Whistler, you are good. Come on, you can say it," encouraged Kate.

"I'm better."

"Didn't ask you that. Didn't even offer the compliment."

"You are really going to make me say it, aren't you?"

"I've had a hard few weeks. I think I deserve it." Jane took in a deep breath and sighed dramatically before giving her a nod.

"You've got great aim and precision. I will give you that and you are right. The shooting range and a glass of wine is exactly what I needed tonight."

"It pairs nicely with a bottle of pinot," teased Kate and they both giggled as they clinked glasses.

"I still think you cheated on the quick draw, though." She laughed when Kate almost choked on her wine.

"You asshole," said Kate as Jane laughed even more. They heard a knock at the door and Kate sighed as she stood up.

"This conversation is not over. I pulled my gun on three, just like you did," informed Kate as she headed to answer the door. Jane walked into the kitchen to pour herself some more wine.

"Whatever you say," she practically sang. Kate laughed as she answered the door, but her eyes widened when she saw Lucy standing there.

"Lucy, hi, what are you doing here?" Lucy stuffed her hands into her pockets to stop from fidgeting.

"I wanted to come by to talk, if that's okay?"

"Yeah, uh, I was just…Jane and I were…"

"I was just leaving," interrupted Jane and Lucy's eyes widened when she saw her boss approaching the door.

"Tennant, what are you doing here," asked Lucy.

"Just catching up. Kate, we can finish this…"

"Are you two a thing now," asked Lucy in shock and Kate blushed as Jane tilted her head in confusion.

"Wait, you think…" Lucy interrupted her boss.

"You know what, I don't want to know. I should have called, just like last time. I…yeah, I'm gonna go," rambled Lucy as she hurried away. Kate groaned as she pinched the bridge of her nose and Jane looked at her incredulously.

"She's serious?"

"She never stays long enough for me to even ask," called Kate as Jane went after Lucy. She saw the petite brunette getting into the elevator, wiping her eyes as she did, and Jane shook her head. She grabbed the elevator door before it could close and Lucy looked up at her in surprise.

"Yeah, no, that's not happening with me. You aren't leaving here until you two talk and figure this out. I didn't say anything before because it wasn't my place, but since you think I would sleep with your ex, it is now. I wanted no part of this, but you have obviously lost all common sense."

"Tennant…"

"Out, Lucy, that's an order." Lucy sighed and got back out of the elevator. Kate leaned against the wall in the hallway with a sheepish smile as Jane gave her a look.

"Talk, both of you," instructed Jane as she stepped into the elevator. The awkward silence that tended to hang in the air between them returned as Jane left and Lucy turned to face Kate.

"So, you two aren't…"

"Did you really just accuse your boss of sleeping with me," asked Kate with an amused smirk and Lucy rolled her eyes.

"Well what else was I supposed to think when yet another woman came out of your apartment?"

"First off, not yet another woman, your boss. Second, she's my friend. You do know I can have a woman in my apartment that is actually my friend, right?" Lucy looked down.

"I know that," she conceded.

"Do you? Because if you don't, then whatever this is can never work."

"Is that all I am to you, a 'whatever,' seriously Kate? Do you know how infuriating it is when you call us that?"

"Why don't you come back inside and let me explain then?" Lucy sighed, but gave a curt nod as she headed back into the apartment. Kate closed the door behind them and sighed in relief.

"Well, that's a good sign. Are you ready to finally talk?"

"That's why I came over here before I saw you and Tennant all chummy. You know what pisses me off about all of this? I'm not even the jealous type! At least I wasn't. I have always known who I am and anyone who doesn't want me, well that's their loss."

"Because you're amazing and they're missing out," agreed Kate. Lucy crossed her arms as she nodded.

"Exactly."

"For the record, Jane and I are just friends. I usually go over to her place after work because we could both use the company. It has been that way since the Shaw case. The kids are with their dad this weekend, so I suggested a girls' night of shooting and wine." Lucy ran a hand through her hair and groaned.

"I am not looking forward to that conversation on Monday."

"Oh, I doubt you will make it until Monday without having that conversation. I'll be surprised if she doesn't call you over tomorrow."

"Hey, stop looking so smug. This is your fault."

"My fault, how?"

"If you didn't have cute brunettes coming and going from your place, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

"That's not fair, Lucy."

"No, you know what isn't fair? Hurting this much over you," exclaimed Lucy as she began to pace. Kate stood there and simply listened, sensing she needed to get some things off of her chest.

"I was patient. I met you halfway. I even made us dinner reservations as a secret spot just so you would feel comfortable being seen with me and then I find out it's because you have a girlfriend and I'm a side piece? Who does that? How could you do that to me? I know we weren't exclusive, okay? I'm not ridiculous. We were hooking up and totally casual at first, but I call utter bullshit if you think we didn't become more. I became more and…damn it, why aren't you saying anything," exclaimed Lucy as she spun around to face Kate. She was surprised to see tears in her eyes and was quiet as Kate slowly approached her. Lucy let out a shaky breath as Kate's thumb caressed her cheek. She leaned into her touch, missing how good it felt to just be touched by Kate.

"I didn't want to interrupt. Is it my turn now?" Lucy nodded and Kate sighed.

"You were patient with me and did meet me halfway. It meant everything to me when you went out of your way to make those dinner plans, but I wasn't worried because of Cara. She hasn't been in the picture in a very long time. I was worried because of us, Luce. Because you compromised me and it didn't matter how many times I tried to stay away from you or even told myself it was fine. I was compromised at work, we both were."

"We have never broken any rules."

"We broke mine a long time ago," confessed Kate.

"How?"

"I was the liaison for your team. The DOD trusts me with highly classified information that could get a lot of people hurt or even killed if it leaked. Were we technically breaking any rules by being together? No, but people talk, rumors swirl, and I still had to be able to justify every piece of intel I gave the team. I have always been able to justify that, but it started to get harder. You blurred the lines for me because even if I think I would have still helped your team without you on it, I couldn't be sure anymore. All I knew is that I was falling for you and I would do anything, absolutely anything, to keep you safe. I made rules to keep myself from being compromised in this job. No getting too close to coworkers, making sure I did nothing that could make me vulnerable, and yet the moment I saw you, I told myself for the longest time that I didn't, but I did. I started falling in love with you and I haven't stopped since."

"So that's why you wanted to keep things between us at work? Not because of Cara?"

"Screw Cara, the woman was a pain in my ass when we dated and has been nothing but one ever since. I was very clear with her when she called that we were over. Showing up at my doorstep unannounced was her last ditch effort."

"Yeah, what type of crazed ex would just do that," said Lucy with a sheepish smile and Kate smiled adoringly at her.

"What we have is nothing like what happened with me and Cara and you certainly aren't a side piece. As for the whole were we or weren't we exclusive thing, I felt it too, Luce. I was falling too, still am, and that hasn't changed. It's one of the reasons I was so happy to get the job with the FBI. It meant I didn't have the same conflict of interest. I haven't given up on us. I've just been waiting for you to be ready to talk. Did I think you would wait until you snapped at your boss to do so? Not so much." She giggled as Lucy rested her forehead against her shoulder and let out a groan.

"Tennant is going to kill me."

"Don't worry, I'll put in a good word for you," teased Kate before kissing her forehead.

"Wait, you said you were falling," questioned Lucy and Kate ran a hand through her hair with a smile.

"Still am," reminded Kate as more tears filled Lucy's eyes.

"It scares me how hard I fell for you," confessed Lucy.

"But I fell too, I love you, Lucy."

"I love you too, Kate."

"I've wanted to tell you for a while," admitted Kate with a sigh of relief.

"Me too."

"So," said Kate as she laced their fingers together and Lucy gazed up at her.

"So," said Lucy. Neither knew who made the first move as their lips meshed together in a passionate kiss. Everything else ceased to exist around them except one another as they discarded each other's clothes and made their way to the bedroom, lips never parting for long in the process. Lucy moaned as Kate placed her on the bed and pressed her thigh in between the brunette's legs. Kate could feel her heat and arousal and eagerly slipped her hand in between them to play with the slickness of her folds. Lucy's back arched off of the bed and her fingers dug into Kate's back as she clung to her. Two of Kate's fingers slid inside of her as the blonde sucked and lavished Lucy's breasts. She plunged deeper as Lucy bucked her hips up to meet each thrust, aching and craving for more. Kate watched her through hooded eyes and braced her other hand against the headboard as she pumped harder. She could feel Lucy clinching and knew she was close. Watching her come undone was her favorite pastime and she missed being able to see the way Lucy bit her lip and whimpered as she tried to hold on. Lucy pulled her closer, needing to feel every inch of her as the pleasure built, and Kate nuzzled her neck. Both were panting and moaning and Kate curled her fingers inside of her, knowing just how to get the most delectable sounds out of her girlfriend in the process. She knew Lucy was close and whispered the words in her ears that she knew would send her tumbling over the edge.

"تعال من أجلي، يا حبيبي" she urged her in the language she spoke to her often in the bedroom. Lucy cried out in pleasure and obeyed Kate's command as a powerful orgasm crashed into her. She buried her face into Kate's shoulder as she pulsed and clinched around her fingers, needing to feel her as deeply as she could. The ecstasy coursing through her body slowly calmed to a simmer as she melted into Kate's arms.

"I love you," Lucy whispered as her girlfriend held her close.

"I love you too," Kate whispered back.

"Good, because I kind of yelled at my boss for you tonight." Kate shook her head in disbelief as Lucy straddled her waist.

"I'm sure she'll…." Lucy placed a finger to her lips.

"I'm not worried about Tennant right now," assured Lucy as she began kissing her way down her body and Kate sighed happily, knowing exactly how she would be spending the rest of her weekend.

AN: The song that inspired this fic is called "Into Your Arms" by Witt Lowry and Ava Max. You can thank some of the shippers in Whistler's Army for the Arabic and a bit of smut at the end. I just wanted some fluff and Kacy back together...but who am I to turn down a request? I hope you enjoyed.
