Everyone is indifferent, but when Harry gets his first taste of passion, he wonders what is missing. Hints of slash.

~*~

At first, Harry doesn't notice a difference. But slowly, he realizes that at some point he had drifted away from his friends. He realizes that he never had expectations put on him, his friends aren't saddened by his drifting, they probably don't even notice a difference. Everyone in this world is so… bland. Even Snape, who he feels should have strong hatred for him, doesn't acknowledge his existence more than anyone else.

Harry realizes that he is feeling a long dead emotion. Passion.

Everyone is so indifferent to everything that no one is truly living. Experiencing life like in the history novels.

He wonders what it will take for Him to feel this emotion.

Idea came from an LA discussion in school about passion and indifference. We were asked which was more dangerous, and someone brought up a world where everyone was indifferent. I thought it would be a good story idea, so I wrote it.
