After Surr disembarked from the ship in Old Sharlayan, she was absolutely furious, barely stopping herself from snapping at other Scions. Travel from Limsa took three weeks and spending that much time cramped in a small vessel with Alphinaud was driving her insane.

He was such a smug brat she yearned to smack him over the head and tell him to get over himself already. She didn't care that he was a prodigy, dammit! But as a barely fledgling Scion, she couldn't afford to antagonize her compatriots or she will never hear the end of it from Minfilia when they go back to Eorzea. And as she was supposed to stay in Leveilleur's household during her short stay in scholar city, she was forced to play nice, and that was driving her mad.

At least Thancred was also with them, so she had someone to pour her woes at, even if he found it hilarious and was laughing her out constantly.

She huffed impatiently, tossing her backpack over her shoulder and stamping her foot, waiting till Alphinaud fixes their registrations at the harbor. She was tired and hungry, it was taking forever, and she just wanted to move on already.

But at least the view was pleasant, she thought, looking at the huge statue in the harbor.

Finally, Alphinaud finished up and walked over, passing her few pieces of paper with a smug grin which she almost yearned to wipe out with her fist.

"Here," his smile was patronizing. "This will allow you free access to Noumenon and Studium for the time of our stay."

"Thank you, Alphinaud," she drawled, keeping her temper in check and gritting her teeth at Thancred's chuckle behind her back.

"You're welcome," his expression became even more smug if it was even possible and she felt her tail whip with agitation, her ears lowering slightly against her head. "Do you wish me to give you a tour?"

She will murder him if she have to stay in his company any longer…

"No, we're fine," she smiled stiffly and turned, grabbing Thancred's wrist and dragging him along hurriedly. "We'll meet at your parents house in few bells," she waved with her free hand and then turned forward with a huff. "Such a brat."

Thancred chuckled, falling in step with her after she let go of his arm.

"He can be irritating, yeah," he hummed with amusement.

"Wish Minfilia would let us go alone," Surr gritted her teeth. "Or sent Y'shtola or Papalymo and Yda instead of him."

"They had their own assignments, Surr," he sighed, running his hand through his hair. "You should be happy she let me go with you, or else you would be stuck with him alone."

"Ohh, I am happy, don't get me wrong," she grinned up at him. "Otherwise one of us wouldn't comeback in one piece."

He laughed, then stretched out his hand for her backpack and tossed it over his shoulder when she handed it over gratefully.

Gods… she was so stiff, she thought, stretching her arms over her head and flexing her tail few times.

"I'm starving, Thancred," she whined petulantly. "Is there somewhere we can eat first?"

"There's Last Stand over there," he pointed toward other side of the harbor and she perked up seeing tables clearly indicating a restaurant. "And I know you're dying to eat anything other than fish," he chuckled at her disgusted expression.

"I love fishes normally," she sighed and rolled her purple eyes. "But after three weeks of only that…" she made a puking sound and he laughed again, leading her toward the dinner.

They took a table on the taras with a great look at the harbor and she fell into her seat with a relieved sigh, sprawling on it in not very lady-like manner but at this point she didn't care, and she knew that Thancred would never scold her for that, even if she was wearing a short skirt and thigh-high boots combined with light, sleeveless shirt, all white.

While Thancred ordered food, she looked around curiously, her ears twitching with interest. There weren't many other customers, which she guessed was surprising, considering time would be around close to lunch. She stopped her gaze with interes on a Miqo'te couple few tables back, her eyebrows rising slightly.

She had a good view at the woman, that looked not much older then herself, her coloring and flash of fangs suggested she belonged to Keepers of the Moon. Red-headed man she was sharing table with sat with his back to her, but she noticed with interest a tattoo on his shoulder that looked familiar. It took her a second to remember she saw the same design on Y'shtola's robes.

As if feeling her gaze, he turned and looked back at her… she froze, blushing furiously and gaping.

Twelve, he was beautiful…

He had gorgeous, mismatched eyes, red and cyan, that widened slightly meeting her dazed gaze. His absolutely beautiful, plush lips parted slightly, drawing her gaze instantly and making her swallow hard. His coloring and marks by his eyes indicated belonging to Seekers, same as her.

"…Surr!" she jumped in her seat, looking back at Thancred and noticing it seemed he called her already for a bit. He smirked with amusement at her dark blush, his gaze turning toward the man she had been so mesmerized with. "See something you like?"

Her blush darken even more, and she peeked again, seeing with disappointment that he turned back to his companion.

"Gods… yes," she gasped, then sagged in her seat. "But he seems to be already taken," she pouted with disappointment.

Just her luck, really. First time she sees a man that makes her heart absolutely stop, and of course, he already has someone to occupy him. And no wonder really. He was so beautiful it took her breath away…

"Maybe they're just friends?" suggested Thancred, smirking.

She perked up instantly, looking at him hopefully.

"You think?" He had much more experience in those things then her, he would know, right?

She looked back again, just to see the Keeper female put her hand on Seeker's wrist and she growled instinctively, then gasped, almost smacking herself.

Gods… she had no right to… but he was so pretty…

Her tail whipped with agitation at her turmoil and she bit her lip, choking back a whimper. Then she blushed again furiously when Seeker seemed to peek back again, then turn back to his companion quickly, blush climbing his neck.

"Seems he's also interested," Thancred said with another chuckle, clearly ungodly amused. "Maybe you should go over there and introduce yourself?"

Surr sat up, staring at him with enthusiasm.

"You really think so?" she bit her lip with uncertainty, peeking at the Seeker again. "Won't that… I don't know, scare him off?"

Thancred sprawled in his seat, raising his eyebrows.

"I hardly know a man who wouldn't like a woman, especially as cute as you, to show clear interest in him," he drawled. "And by way he keeps looking toward you, he is interested," he said with pure amusement, looking over her shoulder. "Maybe you can ask him for a tour of the city," he showed his teeth in a grin, wiggling his eyebrows meaningfully.

Surr bit her lip again, fighting with herself but another quick peek made her steel her back and rise to her feet with determination, bracing her arms on the table.

"Wish me good luck," she gasped at her best friend, and turned around, taking a deep breath and heading slowly toward the couple, Thancred's amused chuckle making her ears twitch nervously.

G'raha tried, really hard, to focus on his conversation with Zadi and not look back constantly, fighting a dark blush trying to climb his face.

But by Thaliak, that Seeker girl he caught staring at him was absolutely georgous, with those dark purple eyes that seemed to shine like stars. Her looong, pearly-white hair made his hands clench in fists as he had absurd need to feel them tangle around his fingers.

"…G'raha?" he blinked at Zadi, noticing her frown. "Are you alright?"

He licked his lips, coughing slightly and sagged in his seat, trying to focus as his tail flicked nervously.

He liked Zadi, and he finally gathered his courage to actually ask her out. She was one of few people in Old Sharlayan to actually be kind and friendly to him. Even if she was clearly uncomfortable to be seen with him, an eccentric, as many called him. Which was one of the kindest terms he was used to hearing.

"I'm fine," he smiled a bit stiffly, tryimg to relax and not look back again. That girl clearly already had a company, a quite handsome Hyur and anyway… it's not like a beautiful girl like that would be… well, she stared at him in a first place, but maybe that's just his eyes again…

He felt a movement at his side and looked up automatically, instantly drowning in a purple depth, even more beautiful up close.

"Hi," girl smiled at him bit shakily, pretty dark blush decorating her delicate features. "Umm…" she bit her lower lip, drawing his gaze to her mouth and making him swallow hard, his own blush darkening. Twelve, she was so beautiful. He almost whimpered when her smell hit his sensitive nose; citrus tang making his head spin. "I'm Surr," she smiled shyly and his heart vaulted wildly.

Gods… she looked like a dream come true, he thought numbly, dumbfounded.

"Umm," he heard Zadi's voice from far away, too caught up in a purple eyes to do much else than stare, mesmerized. "Hi, but we're a bit…"

White-haired Miqo'te looked at his companion, and annoyance flashed on her pretty face, before she looked at him again, her gaze scanning his face carefully and with open interest that made his heart pound furiously.

"What is your name?" she asked, her voice so soft and sweet.

"G'raha," he answered nearly choking, then coughed lightly, trying to gather his thoughts. "G'raha Tia."

She beamed at him; her long, fluffy white tail flicking behind her slowly.

"Hi, G'raha," Gods… way she almost purred out his name… He swallowed hard again, trying not to think how it made his blood ignite and shoot south. "Me and my friend," she motioned behind her back but he wasn't able to take his gaze off her face. "We just arrived here, in Old Sharlayan… Soo… " she twitched nervously, looking back quickly and blushing furiously. "Umm…" she looked back a him again; dark, hungry gaze drifting to his mouth as she bit her lip again, clearly looking for words. "I…"

"Sorry, we're busy," Zadi almost snapped, making him jump and shaking him out of the daze, staring at her for a moment and barely understanding why she was even there. "So…" she added meaningfully.

Seeker girl… Surr… flustered clearly, her ears lowering considerably as she backed away, flash of embarrassment in her beautiful eyes.

"I'm sorry," she murmured, again blushing darkly but now clearly avoiding his gaze. "I… thought… I… I'm sorry," she bolted back toward her companion and he barely stopped himself from following, his own ears lowering miserably as he focused on Zadi again, trying really hard not to growl.

"What a rude girl," she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest with a frown, then looking at him expectantly. "Anyway, what did you want to talk about, G'raha?"

He swallowed hard, trying not to look back with longing.

"Ah…" he murmured, trying to relax. "Just… Nothing really important…"

Surr wilted in her seat after their food arrived, her heart still pounding furiously and still blushing from embarrassment.

"Can't believe I let you talk me into that," she moaned, covering her face with her palms. "Gods…"

"Aww, don't be like that, Surr," Thancred chuckled. "At least you tried."

"And made fool of myself," she hissed, her ears flat against her head. "Gods… he must think I'm some kind… Ahh," she whined miserably.

"Now, now…" her friend ruffled her hair slightly and laughed when she snapped her teeth at him, growling. "Now, eat and soon you'll forget all about it," he smiled at her reassuringly.

She sighed, sagging in her seat and looking down at her plate, not really feeling hungry anymore, but she picked up her burger and bit in it, soon chewing without enthusiasm.

But Twelve… he was even more beautiful up close… These mismatched eyes so deep she drowned in them instantly...

G'raha… Surr sighed dreamily, drawing another amused look from Thancred. She blushed again and focused on her food, trying not to think about that man and failing miserably as every time she blinked, she could almost see again these pretty, plush lips. And Gods… that voice… so low and soothing…

She moaned, dropping her burger back on the plate and covering her face again with soft whimper.

"Oh, sit straight, Surr," said Thancred suddenly almost with giddiness, making her peek at him through her fingers. He was looking at something over her shoulder with a grin. "Girl split and your boy is heading this way, clearly nervous as all seven hells."

She gasped, straightening immediately, her heart pounding furiously and trying hard not to look.

"Umm, hi again," Twelve, that voice… "Sorry… for before…"

She made sure to turn and look up slowly, but she couldn't stop another blush or enthusiastic flick of her tail as she met these gorgeous eyes this close again.

"Hi, G'raha…" she barely choked out over crazy pounding of her heart. "It's okay… I shouldn't… I mean…"

Twelve, she was making a fool of herself again…

"Hi," Thancred intercepted smoothly, his voice ringing with humor at her clear fluster. "I'm Thancred Waters, and with my friend here, that you already met, we were looking for someone to give her a tour of the city," he grinned easily at both Seekers surprised stare. "I'm afraid I have other things already planned…" he sighed with mock-regret. "And she's here first time so would be a shame…" he finished meaningfully, smirking at Surr.

She almost jumped, tossing him a grateful look before she looked again at G'raha.

"Umm, yeah," she smiled shyly. "I mean… If you would be so kind and have time… And I can pay…"

"That won't be necessary," he smiled at her and she melted instantly, biting back a gasp when these beautiful eyes light up with humor. "I would… love to be of assistance."

Twelve…

She swallowed hard, lifting off her seat so quickly she almost made the chair fall over, which made her blush even darker, but she didn't care, staring at these eyes.

Surr looked back at Thancred with difficulty, biting her lip nervously.

"Just make sure to be at Leveilleur's before nightfall, Surr," he smirked, winking at her. "I'll excuse you… if I arrive first, I mean," he chuckled, waving them off.

Gods, she loved him.

She swallowed hard, turning back to G'raha and wringing her hands nervously, looking at him shyly from under her lashes.

Smile he send her made her heart stop for a second, before it resumed its crazy rhythm.

"So… " she choked, licking her lips nervously and biting back a whimper when his gaze followed the movement, dark blush climbing his face as he twitched slightly. "Umm…"

She saw him swallow hard, closing his eyes for a blink and then offer his arm gallantly, and smiling a bit shyly.

"Let's start with a harbor," he said as she wrapped her hands around his arm shyly, and pulled her along.

She tossed another quick, grateful look at her fellow Scion and blushed at his wide, knowing grin.

G'raha tried really hard not to stammer and seem bit more confident then he felt as he led the beautiful Seeker… Surr… on her requested tour.

As he showed her the view at the ocean from the edge of the cliff in Tranquility and she gasped softly, looking over the horizon, he tried really hard not to stare at her… or at least not to be too obvious about it.

But gods… she took his breath away…

And every time her smell hit his nose, he wanted to drown in it. It was citrus, like oranges, and made his mouth water.

He blushed when she caught his stare… again… and coughed slightly, trying to look away and failing. She smiled shyly and his heart vaulted again, then went back to its furious pounding.

Twelve… he was possessed…

He stared, speechless, as Surr leaned against statue standing at the cliff and lifted her hand, twirling pearly-white strand around her finger and looking at him from under her lashes; pretty, dark blush on her face as she bit her lower lip nervously.

"Can I ask you something, G'raha?" Oh, her voice was so sweet and soft… "If you don't mind, that is?"

Almost unconsciously he moved closer, drowning in her amethyst eyes, so dark and maybe slightly… predatory. He felt a shudder run down his spine and swallowed hard again, licking his suddenly dry lips.

"Yeah?" he hoped he sounded more confident then he felt.

"Would it be too… forward for me to say…" her blush darken and uncertainty flashed in her eyes. "Umm… to say… that I think you're… very attractive," she bit her lower lip again and he almost combusted.

Then he truly understood what she said and blushed furiously, though unable to look away from her eyes even if his life depended on it.

"I… " he hesitated, for a moment struggling to catch his breath. "I… thank you. I also think… you're so… very beautiful."

Gods, he was so tongue tied, for sure she'll…

She blushed, then he heard.. Twelve… She purred with pleasure and it sounded… Ohh, Thaliak… It was so hard to breath…

Before he realized what he was doing, he closed in, leaning over her and bracing his arms next to her head, caging her against the statue.

She didn't look reculant, instead still looking in right in his eyes, hers so dark and hungry… that sound rumbling softly, invitingly between her slightly parted, pretty lips.

"Surr…" he gasped, trying so hard to collect his scattered thoughts and failing miserably.

"G'raha…" she purred and he was lost, leaning down the rest of the way and catching these gorgeous mouth in a desperate, hungry kiss and swallowing her quiet moan as she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, sinking her fingers in his hair and pulling him to her harder.

Twelve… her taste…

He whimpered against her lips, wounding his arms around her waist and devouring her mouth desperately, his mind reeling at the feel of her as he drowned in her taste.

"Gods… G'raha… " she gasped when they broke for air. "You taste so good…"

He trailed his lips down her throat, biting gently and shuddering at her soft moans; panting harshly, his head swimming at how she arched against him, her fingers fisting in his hair and pulling him back in a hungry kiss.

Meaningful cough somewhere close made his head jump up and look over at one of the professors, biting back a growl as she whimpered, instinctively trying to follow his mouth.

Twelve… He swallowed hard, trying to catch his breath and pulling her head gently against his throat.

"G'raha Tia, this is hardly a place for… any untoward activities," man, a tall Elzen glared with disapproval. "Be sure your mentors in Students will hear about it."

"As you wish, professor," he nodded politely, barely able to form coherent sentence as she still coiled her arms around his neck, now biting gently on his skin, putting his blood on fire. "I'm sorry, It'll never happen again."

"It better won't," man snapped, then tossed him another glare and walked off in direction of Studium.

G'raha closed his eyes with breathless moan, dropping his head against her shoulder.

Gods…

Twelve… he tasted so good…

Surr trailed soft bites along his throat, up to side of his jaw, her thoughts an utter mess.

She more of a felt then heard his low moan against her shoulder and she shuddered, feeling like if blood boiled in her veins, heat coiling tightly low in her belly.

Gods… she never felt like this before and it was driving her absolutely mad with want.

"G'raha…" she whimpered desperately against his skin, trying to pull him back and taste these gorgeous lips again. "G'raha… please…"

"Twelve…" he gasped, his arms tightening around her almost painfully as he panted against her throat. "Have mercy…"

He swallowed hard and she whined when his hands wrapped around her arms and pushed her back, putting unwanted space between her and his hot, hard body.

"I'm…" he choked when she growled at him softly, her mind spinning, wanting only to feel that taste again. "Gods… Surr… You're glorious…" His mismatched eyes were so dark and hungry she couldn't catch her breath, not even trying to bite back a needy whimper. "But… Twelve… Not here," his breath was as heavy as hers when he leaned his forehead against hers and closed his eyes, clearly struggling.

She panted weakly, trying to collect her thoughts and failing as his hot, fast breath fanned her lips; incredible heat of his body so close, yet not enough, driving her out of her mind.

Gods… So this is how desire felt like?

She had no clue, but she wanted him, desperately.

"G'raha…" she purred, because he seemed to like it, judging by the way he shuddered visibly again, making her heart pound so hard she was sure she'll pass out soon. "I think…" she swallowed hard. "I think, I want you," and she almost smacked herself, because how lame that was? He sure will think her a fool…

Instead he laughed breathlessly… then stiffened, looking up and staring at her with shade of disbelieve.

"You think…?" he frowned slightly.

Surr blushed furiously, averting her eyes shyly and biting her lower lip.

"You… how old are you, actually?" he sounded unsure suddenly, his hands tightening slightly around her arms.

"Almost eighteen," she answered quietly, without looking at him and still blushing so hard, because… Gods, it was embarrassing.

"And you… never?" She dared to peek at his low, unreadable tone of voice. She blinked, unsure of what she saw in his expression… but it didn't seem… bad?

She shook her head slightly, looking away again with dark blush.

Then she jumped slightly, looking back at him with surprise when he growled softly, closed his eyes shut and his hands clenched on her arms almost painfully.

"G'raha…?" she murmured with uncertainty, biting her lower lip.

Was it really bad? She knew most girls at her age had more… experience… at least in Limsa… but she was so busy, and she never before felt like.. this. And he was so gorgeous… Gods… please, don't let him hate it…

When silence extended, her ears dropped against her head miserably and she felt her lower lip tremble slightly, disappointment squeezing her chest.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, dropping her gaze.

"What…?" he gasped, making her gaze shoot up to his again, but she still wasn't sure about that… glint… in his darkened eyes. "That's not something you should ever apologize for," he swallowed visibly, then looked away. "I just.. don't think you should… I mean, you're so beautiful… Gods… I'm messing it up," he took a deep breath. "Surr, you deserve better than me… especially if it's your first time"

She blinked hard, tilting her head with confusion.

"But… I want you," she frowned slightly, biting her lower lip again with uncertainty. "I mean… unless… you don't…?"

He shuddered visibly, seemingly almost involuntary pulling her closer and she didn't even try to bite back another soft, inviting purr.

Gods… he smelled so good…

She swallowed hard, her heart pounding so hard she could barely breath.

"I never wanted anything more in my life," he drawled through clenched teeth; his breath leaving him in short, sharp gasps.

"Then…" gathering her courage, she smiled slowly, mischievously. "You can have me."
