Yaz had never seen the Doctor look so green before. Handing her a bucket, Yaz sat next to her and got her to sip water, gently rubbing her back.

"I didn't know you got motion sickness," Yaz said, concerned.

"I usually don't. The TARDIS's inertial dampeners must be malfunctioning," the Doctor replied, trying her best not to throw up again in front of the woman she loved.

"It was bound to happen one day. How about we go get you changed so you feel better."

Allowing Yaz to lead her down the corridor, the Doctor hoped a shower would help.

Yaz had seen a lot of things in her life but she didn't think she would've witnessed a horrific crime like she did. She was now sitting in bed, shaking. She thought she had seen it all being a police officer but this was different.

Hearing a knock at her bedroom door, she ignored it, hoping the TARDIS would keep whomever away.

"Yaz, love, would you like a cuddle?" the Doctor asked sitting on the edge of the bed.

Nodding her head, Yaz moved over and allowed the Doctor to cuddle her, a soft kiss lovingly pressed to her head.

"Do not put that in your mouth, Doctor," Yaz said, stopping the Doctor from making dumb choices.

"I only want to know its taste, I won't swallow it," the Doctor replied, biting into the off-yellow alien fruit and immediately spitting it out.

"I told you not to," Yaz said, an eyebrow raised as she watched the Doctor try to get the taste out of her mouth.

"It tastes like fish tank water from Izereth, it's disgusting."

Feeling a little sorry for the Doctor when she began to dry heave, Yaz handed her her water bottle and told her to drink.

"Yaz! Yaz!" The Doctor called, unable to walk properly. "Yaz, are you real or a figment of my imagination?"

"I'm real, I'm very real, what happened?" Yaz asked, moving the Doctor over to sit down. "Your pupils are huge, and you're sweating like crazy."

"I accidently ate hallucinogenic alien cheese, not good for this body apparently," the Doctor replied, her grip firm on Yaz.

"That's not good, come here, let's get this coat off you," Yaz said, concerned at how quickly the Doctor was burning up.

"Yaz, you are so, so pretty, has anyone ever told you?"

"You have, weirdo."

The Doctor wasn't as young as she used to be. As she got out of bed, both of her knees cracked and shot pain up to her hip. Taking a moment to slowly put pressure on her joints, the Doctor got dressed and headed for the kitchen.

"Good morning," Yaz smiled when she saw the Doctor.

"Morning Yaz, sleep well?" the Doctor replied, sitting down at the table.

"Yeah, I did. Tea?"

"Please." Stretching out her knee, the Doctor heard a pop.

"Was that your knee?" Yaz asked, turning around.

"Yeah, I think my age is catching up to me."

The room was spinning, her vision was going blurry, there was a ringing in her ears. Stumbling away from the controls, the Doctor didn't know where she was going. Trying to feel her way around, she tripped over and landed hard on the ground.

She could feel a wall, using it to right herself, she continued to stumble. She could hear a familiar sound underneath the ringing but she couldn't make it out. Feeling a soft hand on her cheek, a stroke of a thumb, the Doctor knew it was Yaz. She was safe with Yaz while these feelings passed.
