Chapter 1: A Loud, Loud Family

It was a normal day in the Loud House, Lincoln woke up and felt the warmth of his bed touching his body. He suddenly felt something else. Luna was also in his room. She was practicing for her concert, because she has been starting to do that, recently she has been selling out in stadiums and other things. So now she performs live.

Many things have changed in the loud house, Lincoln hasn't changed that much but the twins have. Lola and Lana are still obsessed with snakes and princesses. But they don't bother Lincoln that much, Lucy is still the creepy goth girl that everyone is scared of. Now she is more scary.

As for Luan she still has good jokes but sometimes, her jokes can get a bit too far. Like recently she pranked Lincoln into thinking that his favorite book was missing. That wasn't a very good prank to pull. But the other kids haven't changed. Lisa hasn't changed, Leni hasn't changed, Lori hasn't changed, and Lilly hasn't changed.

"Good Morning kids! What are we doing today?" Lynn sir said as he walked into the kitchen, of course he found his children on their mobile phones.

"Dad? Where's mom?" Lincoln asked.

"Oh, your mother has a writing conference later. And she needs some help from us…" Lynn sir said.

All the kids agreed that they had to help their mother with chores. So Lincoln did his chore while everyone else did theirs. It will be nice for Rita to see that the kids actually can help and that they can actually be good family members, as for Lucy she is having some mental problems. Like thinking she is not good enough and thinking she could do better. Everyone in the family is telling her that she is perfect, but she doesn't seem to be buying it. "Kids. Who wants ice cream?" Lynn sir asked as he was watching his kids clean.

They were going for ice cream because of how well they helped their mother. And how nice it will be to see a clean house. Lincoln was the most impressed with his sisters and work, he has never seen them work this much and this efficiently. It felt good watching them clean and work. It also felt good knowing how their mother would react seeing the clean house.

A few minutes later the doorbell rang, it must be mom. Lincoln smiled as he waited by the door for their mom, as soon as Rita opened the door the kids shouted "SURPRISE!" And made their mother cry by doing all the chores for her. Because they knew how stressed she would be with the writing thing.

Lincoln explained how this all worked out and how this was all going to go down, but it did feel good knowing that their mother liked all the hard work they did. And didn't just leave it out the window for nothing, "wow kids, you did an amazing job! Did father take you out for flippies?" Lincoln nodded, "he actually took us out for ice cream." Rita laughed.

She liked seeing the kids bond with their family, but no one knew how long this would really last, and how long this will last before they go back to spending time by themselves and alone.

The next morning was a bit unexpected. All the kids wanted to spend time with themselves or their friends, Lynn was at a soccer match all morning so she was gone, Lincoln was at a comic book convention with Clyde. So the parents were all alone by themselves. It did feel good after a while, but soon it got lonely. They missed seeing their kids and they missed spending time with them, so they did what any other parent would do, they spied on their kids. Now this might seem like a pretty stupid idea, but they did it for the best.

They wanted to see what got their kids so intrigued instead of spending time with their family. Rita and Lynn sir spied on Lincoln first because he was the most trustworthy kid, he was having fun with Clyde reading comic books. So that was good to see, the next one was Luna who was probably out on a date with Sam or just doing music stuff.

And she was on a date with Sam, they were making out and kissing. The Loud parents were fine with that because they did the same thing too. "Don't worry about Luna dear, I'm sure she is safe with Sam. Because Sam said she will take good care of Luna." Rita patted her husband's back as he was worried. He would be the same way if she was dating a boy, probably even more worried.

But since she was dating a girl it wasn't so bad, the next kid was Lola who was again probably not doing anything suspicious. She was probably at one of her princess things with her friends. "How are we going to tell our kids we've been spying on them?" Rita asked. "I don't know." Lynn sir said, he was worried about them getting mad.

But he knew the kids would forgive him and Rita for anything that they did, and this spying wasn't to see what they have been doing. It was to make sure they were okay and it was also to make sure that they were not doing anything stupid, "are we acting like jerks Lynn?" Rita asked.

"No, why do you think that?"

"Because, we are spying on our kids!"

"Oh. That makes sense."

"But when they find out, we will make them understand why."

"What if they don't?"

"That will be a problem."

"You see?"

"See what?"

"We are not doing the right thing."

"I guess you are right."

"Yeah. I am right."

The parents decided to stop spying on their kids and just wait for them to get home. They were going to have a long talk when the kids got home, just to talk about what they have been doing and why. It was going to be a very hard conversation. And the kids are probably going to be mad, but Rita and Lynn sir knew what they did was wrong.

And they will accept any punishment, their kids give them.

When the kids got home Rita took the stage and explained what they did and why, Lynn was going to explain how they did it. Lisa was probably going to say that they did a good job and everyone else was going to groan, but they knew it had to be done. "Mom? Dad? Why are you crying?" Lincoln asked, "we messed up." Rita said.

"We were spying on you, and we're sorry."

"Why would you do that, mom?"

"Because we felt we were not trusting you."

"Oh…"

"And it was wrong."

"So, now we will have full trust."

"But don't make us lose that trust!"

"We won't."

"Promise."

"We love you guys."

The loud parents gave their kids a hug and they all made up, now the loud parents will not be spying on their children anymore.
