Luz rubbed her arms, trying to warm them.

She'd been freezing for a few hours and aside from King's blankets, she couldn't find a single blanket to cover herself with. She opened the door to Eda's room. Eda rested in her nest within what seemed like a pile of blankets. Luz grumbled about how Eda was hogging all of the blankets and how she couldn't think to leave one for her. She went up to her side and went under the blankets.

The human girl got as close as she could to Eda. The woman threw her arm over Luz before she gave her a kiss on the forehead. For a moment, Luz was glad she had a warm and loving welcome. She then realized that Eda stole the blankets on purpose so she could run into her arms like this. Frankly, she was too tired to be mad at Eda. It wasn't like she'd be mad at her for too long anyways even if she wasn't tired.

"Darn you, Eda, you won't be as clever next time." Luz yawned.

Eda chuckled. "Oh, you wish."

"You could have just asked me."

"Then that wouldn't be as fun, now would it?"
