Jafars pov
I silently tapped my fingers on my wooden desk as I study the pile of scrolls laying infront of me, all yet to be finished.
I turned me head and looked out the large window pane to the balcony, The sky outside was dark with twinkling stars shining in the sky, telling me it was well past sunset, maybe even past midnight.
I turned my attention back to the still unfinished scrolls sprawled across my desk.
I let out a tired sigh and continued to my work, scribbling and signing the parchment infront of me.
I was used to this, staying up well past midnight to finish the paperwork that hadn't been finished the day prior by my king, and getting a head start on the next days work.
Although it wasnt somthing I particularly enjoyed, Staying up late wasn't all bad infact it was almost pleasant, the silence I rarely received during the day was quite enjoyable, instead of attendants rushing by and maids running down the hall, the only sound was the scrape of my quill against unrolled parchment.
I shifted I'm my chair trying to get a bit more comfortable, knowing I wasn't going to be going to retire to bed anytime soon, and silently continued my work, enjoying the peace I would only get at night.
Ofcorse that didnt last long when the sound of foot steps approached the door to my office.
I slowly stood up from my chair and dropped my daggers into my hands, cautiously eyeing the door,
'No one should be awake right now' I thought to my self as I went onto the offensive
The door slowly creaked open to reveal the ever so charming king of sindria, Sinbad.
I dropped my fighting stance and tucked my blades back into the safety of my sleeves, signing in relief and slight annoyance.
"Is there somthing you need my king" I said with a twing of annoyance.
'So much for peace and quiet' I thought bitterly.
Nobody pov
"I need nothing ja'far" the violet haired man spoke in a strong yet quiet voice.
"Well if that is so the I will continue on with my work" Jafar huffed as he turned around to head back to his now vacant desk, but was suddenly stopped when strong tanned arms wrapped around his slender waist.
The vizer let out a squeak of surprise when he was taken captive by the arms of his king.
The arms held him tightly in place preventing him from squirming out of the kings grip.
The white haired man whipped his head around the best he could to shoot a manecing glare at the kings wrapped around him.
"Sin let go I'm busy at the moment and I don't need you slowing me down!" Jafar hissed, annoyance clear in his voice.
"Busy? Jafar it's the middle of the night, you should be doing nothing but resting" Sinbad said as he pulled jafar closer to himself, pushing his facing into the the others sholder.
"There is to much work to be done for resting, I'll take a break when I'm finished" the younger said as he attempted to push the older away from him but to no avail.
"Honestly you work to much, if you ask me i think you need a break from all this, have some time to yourself, maybe catch up on sleep"
"Maybe I'd have time for a break if someone actually did their work like their supposed to" Jafar growled as he attempted to swat away the kings face from his shoulder.
Sinbad sighed dramatically against the others sholder "I know I know but it's just so boring, it practically puts me to sleep" he whined tightening his grip on jafars waist.
"Yes yes I know, you've only told me this about a hundred times before" the vizer said while rolling his eyes.
"But seriously you do need rest, if you keep pulling all nighters your gonna end up looking like the walking dead, and you're to cute for that"
"Like I said before, I'll got to bed once I'm finished with everything in here"
'Yeah right like I believe that' Sinbad thought to himself with a roll of his eyes.
The grip on Jafars waist loosened and he took the opportunity to slip out of the others grasp but before he could move away from the king he was swept off his feet and into sinbads arms.
"S-Sin! What are you doing!? He squeaked as Sinbad lifted him off the ground.
"I'm to tired to argue with you right now jafar, so we're going to bed, we can discuss this more in the morning" Sinbad said as he pushed the office door open with his foot and began heading down the long corridor to his chambers, with the struggling albino tightly secured in his grasp.
"Sin put me down this instan-" "if you keep yelling like this your going to wake the entire palace" the violet haired king said in a hushed tone, cutting of his advisor.
"What about-" "and before you ask about the paper work I'll deal with it" the king said smiling down at the one in his arms.
"Yeah sure you will" Jafar mumbled skeptically to himself, but stopped trying to escape sinbads arms, an instead settled for snuggling up against the others cheast, as he was finally being to feel the effects of lack of sleep.
He yawned tiredly and his eyes began to slowly drop, he tried to force them to stay open but Sinbad could tell he was slowly drifting off to sleep.
By the time Sinbad reached his chambers the other was already fast asleep in his hold, he entered the room quietly and laid the younger down on his bed.
He began removing jafars official clothing and changing him into more comfortable sleep wear, the last thing the king removed was the wired household vessel woven around the latter's arm.
He placed the darts in the drawer on the nightstand sitting next to his bed, just as a precaution incase Jafar woke up the next morning and decided to murder him for bring him to sinbads room and instead of his own.
Finally the king himself changed into his own night clothes and crawled into the bed next to his already sleeping advisor.
Sinbad pulled the covers over the two of them then pulled Jafar close to him, he began petting the others snow white hair as he smiled lovingly at the one next to him.
He planted a singular kiss on the others freckled cheek with a small smile before letting his mind be taken into the world of dreams...
