With only a sweater and his chaps on, Jr. stared at the bedroom ceiling, unable to sleep no matter how hard he tried.
In-between his restlessness, he also felt pissed off in regards to Shion's revised strategy.
Jr. remembered well of what happened last time inside MOMO's consciousness, and he wasn't going to make the same mistake.
In the end it wouldn't've mattered, how much Shion and his allies wanted to fight alongside him.
Since he had to go alone, there was no other way that Albedo could be stopped.
It was also only a matter of time, before the anomaly would eventually swallow the universe itself.
Jr. truly had no time to dawdle, but he simply couldn't walk by and hop into the Asher either.
But suddenly he shot up from the bed with an idea in mind, he hadn't even tested out the Asher's new flight module yet.
It hadn't been long since the Professor had upgraded the craft, so all in all- the excuse sounded perfect to use.
Then again he despised lying, especially towards someone as innocent as MOMO.
She'd do anything for him even if it meant a white lie, but this was different.
Jr. if he was asked couldn't even confidently say that he'd be able to return home afterwards.
He had no idea what awaited him deep inside the space-time anomaly, but he knew Albedo called for him.
It was a special, perfect and illusionary world crafted solely for him, the others wouldn't've been able to understand.
For they only saw a mere fragment of what Jr. had to endure, what he had suffered through.
On the other hand he couldn't allow the past catch up, let himself fall so easily.
To clear his mind Jr. moved himself away from the bed, and headed towards the bathroom.
With a sigh his hand reached out to grab the glass, and immediately filled it up with some mouth-wash.
But once he gargled the liquid and "tasted" it he suddenly spat it out, unable to withstand the burning sensation.
Fuck it tasted bad but he knew that it was Gaignun's fault, the spearmint always stung in his mouth enough for his eyes to even tear up.
When his sight changed to see the base of the sink, his hands pressed themselves down.
Despite being so deep into his thoughts, Jr. still felt the droplets of water course down his face.
"I know Shion's gonna' get pretty pissed, but I can't just sit here."
"He's... waiting for me, inside that place."
After he had finished his thoughts his hand moved upward, and placed itself onto his beating heart.
Ever since Albedo had disappeared and vanished alongside U-DO's waves, Jr. could no longer feel the latter's heartbeat.
Almost as if there was a void of where Albedo once was, as if a part of himself had been ripped apart of whence it began.
However the more Jr. thought about it the more it made sense, the two were originally one until their hearts were separated by a scalpel.
Even though he knew well of where Albedo currently was, he hadn't even gotten a look at the anomaly itself.
Briefly he glanced upon it, just as the Elsa had flown away from Omega System.
He still couldn't believe that he'd formed a temporary alliance with Albedo, to fight against Sergius XVII.
Vaguely Jr. was able to reflect upon what his brother had told him, just before his body was enveloped with U-DO's waves.
In-between some loud laughter Albedo's head slowly arose, whilst his eyes changed their sight onto his oldest brother.
"What's wrong? My wish has finally been realized!"
"All these long years of anticipation, can finally come to an end!"
"Aren't you happy for me-"
"Rubedo?"
Without any time to respond or even move a inch, sudden waves of U-DO were sent forward.
But at the nick of time, KOS-MOS protected the group and neutralized the faraway barrage.
From behind the android's barrier, Jr. stood in shock unbelieved at the he sight he saw.
Somehow, she was able to withstand Albedo's now godly and raw power.
Not once did her feet get pushed back, as if the android overpowered the U.R.T.V himself.
At the same whilst KOS-MOS outdraw the G-Shot, the area around them had begun to collapse.
The entire system shook as debris fell from the ceiling, stone pillars also collapsed as an result of the massive and sudden quake.
To reach out for his brother Jr. out-stretched his hand, but lowered it once his sight looked back to see nothing but rubble.
Much to the groups shock, the large mass of debris was destroyed once U-DO's power exploded.
With a tug of his crimson longcoat thanks to chaos, Jr. quickly joined up with the others in a desperate dash.
Heavily he panted whilst he ran to reach others, that anxiously waited for him at the Elsa's entrance.
After the Elsa began to hover away from the System, Jr. leapt forward just in time for Ziggy to firmly grab ahold of his hand.
Within seconds the luxury cruiser flew off, right before U-DO had fully consumed the System itself.
Their battle with the Patriarch was nothing short of hectic that day, especially once Albedo got involved.
When the memory faded, Jr. stood up and headed off to the Elsa's gunroom.
Before he could sit down and settle, he was suddenly startled by the sound of his brother's voice.
"Take as much as time as you need my dearest, I know you'll have to say goodbye to all those you cherish."
"Ah but the question is are you going to toss them aside, and abandon them the very same as you've done to me?"
Just after a bout of Albedo's raucous and wicked laughter, Jr. turned around searched the room with his guns pointed.
The bastard knew that he had to at least to tell someone that he was heading out.
But the question was, who would he be able to tell?
He certainly couldn't've told the likes of chaos, or especially Shion.
To them, heading out alone would've been no different to suicide.
However Jr. bristled with firm sincerity, once his sight had focused on the partition doors.
"I'm not abandoning them! I'm just..." Before another word could escape his lips, his brother haughtily interjected. "My, my. I've never seen you so pale before Rubedo!" "Surely, you're not worried about me hurting them?" Jr.'s head suddenly went back in irritation, enough for it be touching against the wall.
Despite Albedo not even being there with him, he still felt his skin awfully crawl. "Just shut up!" The oldest demanded defensively. "Like hell, I'd let you do anything to them!"
In-between loud and sudden laugher, his twin replied barely being able to control himself. "Au contraire, You allowed me to have that luxury- at least once."
Briefly the memories at the Song of Nephilim flashed past, with the most prominent one being Albedo's sudden and violent arm penetration.
Jr.'s hands clawed themselves through his crimson head, trying to cope and shut out the memory at hand.
"Stop it! just keep your damn' hands away from her!" When Jr.'s face had turned away, his mental state already started to crumble.
To the point of his anger almost overwhelming him again, but regardless on how his mind felt, he knew well that he couldn't lose control over himself.
Once Jr. had taken a few steps closer, he soon realized that the "MOMO" that Albedo held in his arms... wasn't even real to begin with.
With widened eyes his ears heard a loud thud, once the false MOMO was dropped carelessly.
When her frail body impacted the cold and hard floor, her appearance changed to reflect that of a Kirschwasser.
Her eyes did not glimmer, nor did they spark a mere hint of life.
However, despite Jr.'s hatred from the last time he'd been assaulted by one of them, he couldn't help but feel bad for the poor girl.
Instinctively, the redhead scowled before he quickly drew out his two firearms.
Tightly his fingers wrapped themselves around the triggers, with the bitter taste of hatred filling up his throat simultaneously.
However before he could pull the trigger, the room slowly began to engulf itself in a bright flash of white.
Shortly afterwards when Jr. had uncovered his eyes, he found himself strangely in the Elsa again.
Once the awful ringing in his ears had stopped, the sounds of the Elsa's bubbling aquarium resumed.
The redhead's small frame laid stiff against the wall, whilst his tensive fingers threaded through his crimson hair.
In disbelief he began to "convince" himself, that what he saw was in fact real and undoubtedly it was.
But at the same time, he felt perplexed. Confused, as to how Albedo would have the ability to affect the subconscious mind.
However in realization he pinched the bridge of his noise, he remembered that this wasn't the first time that Albedo had done this.
Just after MOMO's arrival upon the Durandal, Jr. dreamt about him.
Despite his name never being brought up, prior before he even went to sleep.
His voice faltered in guilt, still being able to remember well of the incident at the U-DO Simulator. "I just wish that I could go back and..!"
Unable to finish off the rest of what he wanted to say, he was suddenly pinned down.
After he had called out in agony his back hit against the floor, hard enough to send a few painful shocks down his spine.
At the same time his sight became fuzzy and unclear, everything in the room seemed like multi-coloured specks.
But another problem was also present, his body felt immoveable as if he was completely paralyzed.
"Albedo, what the-!"
Before Jr. could continue, he was interrupted with a whisper into his ear.
Unexpectedly a hand coursed upward, of which started from the sides of Jr's chaps.
"Don't worry, I've only come to "thank you" personally."
"For you have suffered, far too much... my pathetic half." With a sigh his brother laid completely still, resisting the urge to painfully close his eyes. "Liar, you've... you've always been such a..."
Jr.'s attention was suddenly caught when his twin leant forward, to deftly slip his hand underneath his red sweater.
Albedo's smile grew into a grin once his warm lips, were up-close almost touching Jr.'s small neck. "Why go through the hassle, just lie to yourself?"
"It's apparent you've grown blasé, especially since Nigredo's decided to throw you away-"
"You've settled for something "much better" in comparison."
Once a white brow was raised, Albedo re-opened his eyes. "Tell me, do you still long for his touch?"
In response Jr. initially nodded, it had been at least been a week or two since Gaignun had left Durandal, so unexpectedly.
As much as Jr. hated his brother mind-fucking around with him, he couldn't disagree but he also couldn't let his guard down.
"It's been a while, but he's... he's gone now."
"But it doesn't matter right now, for his sake I still have to-!"
Widely, his twin smiled before he cut him off with a shake of his head. "You know, you can't fight against the way that you feel, Rubedo."
From the corner of Jr.'s eye, he watched as a single digit traced up towards his chest. "You've always taken pleasure, in hiding yourself away from me."
"Keeping yourself so distant."
Before his oldest twin could even answer, he felt Albedo's breath caress across his flesh.
Although it wasn't warm like Gaignun's it was strangely cold, despite the cooling system often being regulated in the Elsa.
"You bastard, why would I feel happy for abandoning you... if I'm trying to at least...!"
Suddenly, Jr.'s hands pushed themselves against Albedo's chest, apparent that he had more to say.
When the redhead made up his mind with a sigh, he rubbed his crimson head back and forth. "I... I don't want to do anythin', unless that damn' door is shut." After Albedo replied, his eyes shone in amusement. "Don't fret, for I've already dealt with any "interruptions" of the sort." "After-all, there's much more "pressing" matters to attend to as of now."
Once the oldest twin had allowed Albedo to progress further, he leant back enough for his back to touch the wall.
With Albedo's hands both placed against both Jr.'s sides, the oldest leant forward before he was fondled.
In resistance Jr.'s hands screwed themselves up into fists, as he tried to resist the urge to call out.
His mind felt undecided between if he should moan, or call out purely because of rough Albedo was.
It was very much evident that Jr. struggled to hold himself back, always Albedo knew purely by looking at just his eyes alone.
Slowly Jr.'s head turned away towards the partition doors, praying to dear god that they were shut.
He couldn't bare the thought of anyone being behind them, after-all Albedo often lied all the time.
Once his twin had reached his neck once more, Jr. closed his eyes once he'd felt Albedo's free-hand caress his face.
Even the slightest touch from his twin, would've easily started him off sensually.
However much to the latter's surprise, he briefly smiled sarcastically. "What do you classify as "pressing" matters?"
With some laughter his twin leant forward, and continued once he'd carelessly tossed aside Jr.'s red sweater.
"Everyone's out aren't they, might as well seize the chance whilst we're alone, hm?"
When Jr. attempted to re-adjust his earring, he replied simultaneously.
"I forgot that the others are all out for the night, but that still doesn't give you an excuse to barge in- uninvited."
Just as Jr. could finish his semi-pissed off response, Albedo disagreed before he'd interjected.
"But aren't you having fun right now, Rubedo?"
He couldn't help but admit that it felt good, but despite the enjoyment he felt from his libido being stirred, it still felt wrong.
Jr. questioned if it was right, or even beneficial to be around Albedo at all.
But one thing was for certain, he'd be able to hold him back long enough until a proper strategy was in order.
After a moments had passed, Albedo began to wonder why his brother remained so silent.
For sure he was long used to Jr. being so violent and disagreeable, always taking the chance to rip him apart whenever he was put on edge.
However an idea came into mind, once the Albedo had whispered softly into his twin's ear.
"Tell me did Nigredo ever subject you, to the very same niveau of encroachment?"
In disagreement the oldest shook his head, whilst his mind reflected upon his somewhat vague memories of his time spent with his half brother.
Never did Gaignun go over the "boundary" of what was considered immoral, nor did he ever put Jr. put through anything he didn't feel comfortable with.
If anything Gaignun was known for his kindness, no matter what the situation was.
Not before long Albedo's face was up-close and met with Jr.'s lips, whilst unexpectedly the redhead's hands pressed against his firm shoulders.
Once Jr.'s body heat had radiated, his lips pressed against his twin's colder ones.
Suddenly Jr.'s flesh was softly caressed, alongside another rough and passionate kiss across his much smaller neck.
The very pinnacle of their time spent drew near, once the oldest started to hear the latter begin to pant.
When Albedo's tongue had deftly slid itself into Jr.'s mouth, the latter's hands gripped tightly enough to sting and ache in Albedo's palms.
After Jr.'s body had been finished being fondled with, the U.R.T.V felt a spiritual link suddenly establish.
In saccharine and obsessive adoration, Albedo spoke.
"I've missed you so, I only longed to have you here with me- but even that is too much to ask "apparently"."
"You were always so busy, too distracted to concern yourself with the weak- you've always been that way."
While the white twin savoured the "bitter" taste of his oldest's lips, he softly held across the side of Jr.'s face.
It had been at least a few years, since Albedo had been "gifted" such control.
Murdering the Durandal staff and the Kirschwassers only kept it all at bay, truthfully only Jr. could ever quench his peculiar thirst.
Once the two twins withdrew their lips, the red twin leant back against the wall, barely being able to catch this breath.
Before Albedo had grabbed Jr.'s attention, his arms folded over themselves- amused and well aware that Jr. would retort in response.
"There's no way now that you can keep your body away from me."
"Not after that "promise" we made."
Everything went blurry, once Jr. had remembered what he truly meant.
However much to Albedo's surprise, Jr. only thought to himself whilst his eyes were closed.
"Th-The promise." The oldest repeated, with one his hands close to his heart.
Admist Jr.'s deep, and somewhat vague moments of reflection Albedo suddenly interrupted.
"Have you forgotten it already Rubedo, and here I thought you really did care about me."
In response Jr. admitted in disagreement, just able to hold a few his tears back. "No, I-I remember."
Slightly his crimson head turned around, with a small nod that signified recollection.
"It was a while ago, just before the Miltian Conflict began."
"Even now, I still can't save anyone." Briefly the white twin shook his head, before he elevated Jr.'s warm face.
"You're saving me aren't you, isn't that what you've always wished for?"
It was definitely a shit way of reassurance, but Jr. couldn't complain he'd never seen this side of Albedo before.
Without a word Albedo stood up, and headed off towards the partition doors.
But his sight suddenly changed, once he had heard his brother speak from behind.
"But you'll be dead, and you won't be able to ever see me again- you know that, right Albedo?"
With a single hand against one of the walls, Albedo replied. "I really didn't think that you'd protest, considering that this is all being done for "her" sake."
Once the redhead stepped forward, he shook his head with a hand on his waist. "It's not just for her, it's everyone."
Hearing Jr.'s resolve from Albedo's perspective was only deemed laughable, considering how he'd felt towards Sergius XVII earlier on. "Even the ones that persecuted you?"
"Ah, but in the end such a question doesn't really have any substance does it?" "Since soon, you'll be able back up your answer with something far greater!" Perplexed at his response, Jr. stepped forward with his pistols trained. "What the hell are you on about?"
Within seconds the pistol roared as it was fired, but before the bullet could reach Albedo's end his presence faded.
Lastly just after Jr. had reloaded a new round, he was left with one final message. "I'd hurry if I were you, and swerve the many minds of them all." "There's only so long that I can wait, if only you knew what the anticipation was like!"
Afterwards, what only remained was unnerving silence.
