"That's a weird question," Pony said. "In fact, I use to ride out to the countryside with my folks"
"Hey, we were there too!" Sodapop & Darry said, angrily.
"Oh...right, right." He paused, then quickly added. "I always forget that"
"It's O.K. Pony"
"Um...hello, remember me?!" I said, angrily.
"Oh, yes...Sydney; what is it?"
"Oh, nothing; except..."
"Except, except what?"
"Except...you still didn't answer my question"
"Oh...yeah, your question..." he said, looking dumbfounded.
"Do you live in or near the countryside?" I said, with more force.
"Oh, oh...yes, yes. We do! Follow me"
He, Sodapop, Darry; and the gang. Showed me to a field that was fenced in on all sides. It had a barn; all the outer walls were painted bright red, along with a gray-tent roof. It looked like a...a farm! "It's like I died and gone to heaven," I thought, then I thought harder. "This must be heaven...am I in heaven?" then, Ponyboy's voice broke into my thoughts. "Come on, let me show ya around."
We jumped the fence, and they lead me to a barn. They opened the door to reveal...a horse stall? In fact, it had millions beyond millions of them. Sadly, all the stalls were empty...except for one; the name was etched into the stall door, the name read: "Kashan". When I looked in the stall; I could see a young—an age 28 horse by the looks of it, was staring back at me. I could tell that this horse was an...Arabian.
"Hey, Ponyboy" I exclaimed.
"Yeah"
"Whose horse is this? Is this even your property?"
"Hahaha," he smirched. "Of course, this is my property" he paused, then said. "Well, mine, Soda's, and Darry's"
"Oh," I said, with a sigh. Then I turn my head and focused my eyes back on Kashan, all I knew was that: he was a gray, gelding, Arabian—but yet he looked so familiar, like I had seen him before. I fix all my attention on him, as I whispered. "I know who you are, Kashan; I know...you're not my horse physically, but to me; you're my horse mentally" I broke the silence that filled the air. "Hey, do either of you ever ride him?"
"Umm..." Ponyboy, Darry, Soda thought for a minute; then said. "No..." I could hear the sense of awkwardness in their voices.
"So..." I said, getting prepared to ask them.
"So, what?" They shrugged.
"So, Can I have him?" I paused, then added a: "Pretty please"
"Well, okay," Pony said.
"Yay, yippee," I said, I could almost jump for joy. "Did you hear that, Kashan? Now, I can ride you forever!" I added as I unhitched the latch.
"Wait!" Pony said, "If you want to ride you need a helmet."
"Relax, I'm not going to ride him now" then I asked. "Are we still up for that tour?"
