The next morning was pretty stressful for Hiccup. Bing Bong did his best to comfort him, but he wasn't that perfect in consoling others like Sadness.

"Y- you'll be fine, I know you will," he mumbled awkwardly, one wing around his boy. Hiccup shook, looking at his friend.

"Think so…?" Hiccup said in a small voice. Bing Bong nodded. "Just make sure you stay safe and don't underestimate that Nightmare." Hiccup nodded, petting him on the shoulder.

"Kay. Gotta get going. See you later… maybe," Hiccup mumbled, heading on his way. Bing Bong waved his tail, before finding a half shaded area to snooze in for the afternoon, wishing luck to Hiccup silently.

….

Bing Bong felt this was his worst dream yet. He dreamt of Hiccup being burned alive, and of being enclosed in a cage.

Then he was hauled out ruthlessly by two Vikings, chained by a shackle around his neck. He screeched, struggling to free himself. A big bearded man came close to him; glaring.

"Lead us home… Devil!" He spat. Bing Bong flinched from the word, tears spilling from his eyes, as the Viking's laughs rang relentlessly in his brain, and Hiccup was still screaming…!

….

"AAAHHH!" Yelped Bing Bong from his nightmare, jerking up. His breathing was erratic, heart thumping like crazy, as he struggled to calm down. But he can still hear Hiccup, and smell his fear scent.

"Hiccup…" he croaked in horror, realizing what was happening: it had gone out of control in the arena, and the Nightmare was attacking his Hiccup!

Eyes turning to slits, he hissed lowly, turning to run to the cove walls, and trying to climb out. Bing Bong huffed as he struggled to pull himself up. It was challenging. But at one ledge he managed to hook his talons to get a good grip. He strained with all he had, flapping his wings, until the Imaginary Friend was able to climb out, catch his breath for a few moments before running towards the Village, desperate to be there on time.

I'm coming! I'm coming! Bing Bing thought, racing as fast as he could, getting closer to the village, hearing roars from the crowd as well as a Nightmare's, that sounded familiar.

Hiccup was terrified; trying to avoid being eaten was no fun if you were him. He tried running to his father, but the Nightmare prevented that from happening, making him run the opposite direction.

He then suddenly stumbled, giving the Nightmare an opportunity to finally pounce, almost looking like it was smirking at him, and Hiccup shivered, scared of becoming a dragon's meal!

"Which part of you to start with… the head maybe?" Purred the Nightmare, moving his head close. Hiccup whimpered, closing his eyes, the foot pressing down hard on his chest, until a familiar banshee screech rang through the air, and the air exploded in blue plasma blast.

"B-Bing Bong…?"

Bing Bong was beyond furious, fueled by his dragon rage when he saw that bully of a Nightmare he tangled with too many times about to bite his human's head off! He screeched in outrage, tackling the red beast to the ground away from Hiccup.

It was a mess of a dragon fight; Bing Bong winced as the Nightmare's talons slashed his shoulder but it didn't stop him, kicking the Nightmare off of him to the ground, and getting into a defensive position, screeching.

"STAY AWAY!"

The Nightmare narrowed his eyes. "DEFENDING A HUMAN… PATHETIC…"

"I WARN YOU ONLY ONCE!"

Bing Bong slashed his talons at the red dragon, knowing that Furies he learned from Ashia always had advantage over the lesser species except maybe the Skrill. The Nightmare looked terrified now, backing down away from the Imaginary Friend. Bing Bing kept his back arched defensively even with the dragon gone.

He felt Hiccup's hands on his head. "'Kay, Toothless, go. Get out of here!" Hiccup begged, but Bing Bong's dragon instincts were slowly invading over his playful personality, making the Imaginary Friend lose sense of himself and be quite dangerous.

Vikings jumped over the edge to get the Night Fury, but Bing Bong was ready, wings spreading, hissing.

"No!" Hiccup shouted, as someone else joined the party; Hiccup's dad. He charged in, face maddened looking. Bing Bong bellowed and began attacking the humans, knocking them left and right, eventually reaching Stoick, pouncing and pinning the large human to the ground.

His vision was red, eyes slitted. Bing Bong snarled, opening his mouth to burn Stoick alive; gas rising in his throat.

"Don't STOP!" Bing Bong then heard Hiccup. He could feel his own mind return, and fear at the idea of almost killing his father rose. He calmed, shaking, gazing at Hiccup apologetically.

Things went wrong when Bing Bong screeched in pain from the side of an axe hitting his head, knocking him down. Vikings swarmed all around, pinning him down until he was helpless to move. Pain ruptured in his limbs from their vice like grips. Bing Bong whimpered in his own pain, unable to move any limbs.

Hiccup couldn't do anything, watching them holding his friend hostage, Stoick standing over Bing Bong.

"Put it with the others…" Stoick growled dangerously, glaring spitefully at the dragon. Bing Bong glared back, but was scared of what would become of him and Hiccup, feeling them dragging his body away.

Hiccup did his best to try and explain things to his father, but all his father thought of was that darned nest.

"No, you don't understand… only a dragon can find the island—!" Hiccup froze, realizing his error. Stoick had a dangerous eager look, turning to walk out. Hiccup pulled on his arm.

"Dad, please, you can't win this! Oh, for the last time would you please listen to me?!" He cried desperately, but Stoick pushed him down.

"You threw your lot in with them. You're not a Viking. You're not my son!" Stoick growled in disappointment, as he left the building; leaving Hiccup in shame and an orphan.

The Vikings pulled Bing Bong towards one of the cages, the former Imaginary Friend struggling with all his might, roaring.

"Oh! Let me go! Let me go!" He wailed in Dragonese. If Bing Bong revealed he could speak human, who knows what these monster humans could do to him then. But they wouldn't fall for a Night Fury's pathetic pleas, pulling out cuffs and chains, securing all four of his paws, finishing with a muzzle on his mouth that felt tight and painful.

Tears fell down Bing Bong's face, hearing the Vikings laugh ruthlessly at his pain, wishing Joy, and especially Sadness were here. Sadness would've comforted him. Joy would've tried to make him happy like she tried that time ago.

The Vikings then left him, locking the cage tight, leaving Bing Bong in darkness with small sunlight filtering through.

He curled on the floor as much as his bonds would allow him, shaking and quivering, scared for his life, and Hiccup's.

"Night Fury… I can scent you… your mighty species finally gets caught!" It was the Nightmare he fought. Bing Bong looked away.

"Leave him alone! I saw him defending his human. He obviously cares!" Said a female different from Freya, it was a Gronckle.

But he smelled Freya. "F-Freya…?" Bing Bong asked, despite the muzzle. No answer. Another voice spoke, a Terrible Terror.

"She won't speak to you or the rest of us. And you won't be here long, Fury. They're coming for you soon…"

This sent shivers up Bing Bong; as he then decided to rest as much as he could. It was the only thing he could do, anyway.

Only an hour had gone by, and his gate opened. Bing Bong jumped in fear, glaring at the humans. He couldn't roar at them because of his muzzle. They tried to take him.

He struggled violently, his chains undone, even swatting a Viking with his tail.

"That does it!" Snarled one, and Bing Bong gave a muffled yelp when a sting hit his shoulder, a drugged dart. His vision got silly, and he slumped to the floor, the drug knocking Bing Bong unconscious.

Opening his eyes a while later, Bing Bong couldn't move anywhere; he felt a shackle around his neck which was wooden, and felt bolted down. Other Vikings watched, laughing at his discomfort, others shaking their heads while some looked scared. He struggled but it was hopeless.

Stoick stood in command on the ship with him. "Set sail! We head for Hellheim's Gate!" He roared. The Vikings adjusted the shackled dragon near Stoick; who knelt down near his face. Bing Bong flinched, looking away. He shouldn't be scared of humans since he was a now dragon. But he was helpless to that now. And this was in his dreams.

"Lead us home… Devil!" Stoick hissed silently, slapping Bing Bong harshly in the face. More tears spilled, as he whimpered in pain from it. This had been the most abuse he had ever received since Riley abandoned him and when he was stuck in the Subconsious with that horrid clown. And he didn't know if he and Hiccup would survive this time around.
