It was midnight.

Jean was walking to Diluc's tavern. Something has happened and Diluc might know something about it

Jean opened the door and walked inside.

Diluc was cleaning the mugs. He noticed her come in.

"Master Diluc!" Jean exclaimed as Diluc exclaimed.

"What do you want now? I don't have whatever it is you're looking for." Diluc groaned.

"So you know we're looking for something?" Jean asked.

"Yes...Kaeya barged into my house yesterday looking for something." Diluc said annoyed.

"Sorry about that but we need to find him!" Jean exclaimed.

"Who?" Diluc asked.

"Albedo..." Jean answered.

Diluc was surprised but decided to not show it.

"He's...not here." Diluc said.

"I'll know if you're telling the truth when I lick your sweat..." Jean said.

Diluc was shocked. 'Lick my...sweat?!'

"Why? Do you posses such a skill?" Diluc asked

Jean was silent. Diluc assumed it was a bluff, a weird one at that.

Diluc then noticed something in his hand, something round and soft. He opens it to see that it's an eyeball.

Diluc jolted back in shock. Jean then came close to his face.

"That eye belongs to the man Albedo killed, he doesn't need it anymore." Jean said.

Diluc was shocked that Jean would do something like this. Jean then got her tongue out and licked his sweat.

'She can actually tell who's lying by licking their sweat!?' Diluc thought in alarm. He didn't even notice the sweat on his face.

"This...is the taste of a liar, Diluc!" Jean exclaimed as Diluc backed away.

"Now I need to know why you lied!" Jean said as she approached him.

Diluc then noticed something was in his mouth and spat it out. It was fingers!

"This questioning has already turned into torture!" Jean exclaimed.

Diluc was preparing to fight until he realized something.

'She can use anemo to cause swirl and that might burn down my tavern, I can repair it but I'd rather not burn it down the first place.' Diluc thought.

"I believe you realized why you shouldn't try to harm me." Jean said.

"How...did you do that?!" Diluc asked.

"I've got a great sense of taste." Jean said.

The doors to the tavern then opened and a few people walked in.

It was Barbara and Rosaria.

"So, Master Diluc knows something?" Rosaria asked catching onto what's going on.

"Maybe..." Jean said as she glared at him.

"You said he killed someone?" Diluc asked.

"Yes...A few days ago Rosaria found a corpse near Albedo's cave. The contents of his cave was scattered." Jean explained.

"Because he hurriedly packed his things and ran away." Rosaria said.

"What are we going to tell Klee?" Barbara asked worried.

"I believe the answers lie here!" Diluc said as he brought his stand out and used It's fire to burn Rosaria.

Jean and Barbara was shocked when Rosaria's privates was exposed.

But then Rosaria's skin came off and someone was inside it. It was Sucrose.

"WHAT?!" Diluc, Jean and Barbara exclaimed in shock and surprise.

Jean quickly drew her sword near Sucrose's neck.

"Sucrose! Why…?" Barbara asked.

"I...can't...tell you!" Sucrose said.

"You have to otherwise you're gonna have to take us all on. The odds are against you." Diluc explained.

"Never...!" Sucrose exclaimed.

"Why...?" Barbara asked. Her soft words did the trick.

"Because he promised me...Stando Powah!" Sucrose said.

This shocked everyone. "He lied." Diluc said hoping he lied.

"No, it's the truth!" Sucrose exclaimed.

"Sucrose, the only way to get a stand is to be born with it..." Jean said in sorrow that Albedo has manipulated her.

Atleast that's what she thinks happened.

"No! Just like he gave Rosaria one, he'll give me one too!" Sucrose exclaimed.

This shocked them.

"Rosaria has a stand?" Jean asked Barbara. Diluc was Interested.

"Yes...but didn't she awaken it?" Barbara answered.

"Dormant stands on users allows them to see stands and Rosaria could see yours, couldn't she?" Diluc asked.

Barbara then remembered the moments where she used her stand and Rosaria didn't notice it or assume it was her vision.

"No...she couldn't..." Barbara answered.

"What!?" Jean exclaimed in surprise.

"How did he give Rosaria her stand!?" Diluc asked as ge glared at her.

"I-I don't know! Rosaria said it's painful but worth it!" Sucrose answered.

Her eyes were getting teary. "Where. Is. Albedo!?" Jean asked in fury.

Sucrose fainted in fear. "I...I think you took it...too far." Barbara said as she looked at poor unconscious Sucrose.

"If I had to guess...It's Liyue." Diluc answered.

"I guess...you're right..." Jean said.

"But what was that? How was Sucrose able to have Rosaria's skin on her!?" Jean

Her wording of that made them uncomfortable.

"That's...Sister Rosaria's stand, Cream Starter." Barbara informed.

"What does it do?" Diluc asked.

"It's a meat spray?" Barbara said unsure.

Jean sighs. "The power to give people stands is very dangerous. He must be stopped." Jean said.

"Don't you think he knows that too? He's not going around giving people stands." Diluc gave his thoughts.

"We must find him!" Barbara said.

"Yes, we must..." Jean said.

"Master Diluc, As the acting grand master I cannot leave Monstadt." Jean explained.

"So you want me to go look for him?" Diluc asked.

"Yes, and take Barbara with you." Jean ordered.

"What!?" Barbara exclaimed in surprise.

"Why her?" Diluc asked.

"Would you like to go with Kaeya?" Jean asked knowing Diluc doesn't want to be near Kaeya.

"Fine..." Diluc agreed.

"But...Sister?" Barbara asked.

"Look, you helped Monstadt a lot and we appreciate it. But right now we need to find Albedo and maybe he'll be convinced by your soft words?" Jean said unsure.

"Wouldn't count on it..." Diluc muttered.

"It'll be a fun adventure for you and I'll be very proud of you!" Jean tries to convince her.

"Fine..." Barbara agreed as Jean smiled.

"And you better protect her!" Jean exclaimed pointing at Diluc.

"Sure..." Diluc said as Jean smiled.

She grabbed Sucrose and exited the Tavern.

"So...Master Diluc...are we going to walk there?" Barbara asked knowing how far Liyue is.

"No." Diluc answered as he walked to the door.

"Then how are we going to get there?" Barbara asked confused.

"Tomorrow by ship. Meet be at the Beach near Galesong hill." Diluc informed as he opened the door and Barbara walked out

"And be prepared" Diluc said as he closed the door.

Galesong Hill...

After half an hour of walking Barbara finally reached the beach.

She saw Diluc waiting for her in a boat and walked to him.

"Am I late?" Barbara asked.

"No, let's go." Dilus said as Barbara got on the boat.

Diluc started rowing the boat to his ship.

"Is that your boat?" Barbara asked curiously.

"The captain works for me." Diluc said as he reached the ship.

They climbed up and met the captain.

"We are ready for departure." The captain informed.

Diluc nodded. "Full sails!" The captain ordered as the ship started moving.

Barbara was amazed since she never rode a ship before.

Diluc observed the sky.

"I'll be in the captain's cabin." Diluc told Barbara.

She nodded and Diluc walked inside and sat down to rest.

"Looks like this will be a smooth sailing..." Diluc muttered.

In a few minutes, Diluc got up and opened the chest in the room.

He grabbed a map and then puts it down on the table.

'It's time to decide pur next course of action after we reach the docks of Liyue.' Diluc thought.

'According to the captain, tensions are rising in Liyue because of the Fatui. Must they cause problems?' Diluc thought annoyedof the Fatui.

'And if I were Albedo, I would go through the Bishui Plains.' Diluc Thought.

Then ge sound of rains brought him out from his thoughts.

"Rain?" Diluc wondered confused. Wasn't the sky clear?

Then the ship started moving up and down due to huge waves.

Diluc fell out of his from this.

"What's going on?!" Diluc exclaimed in confusion.

He then heard a loud girly scream and assumed it was Barbara.

He quickly rushed out to see that the sky was covered in clouds, it was raining heavily and rogue waves and tornadoes were going around.

"Master Diluc!" Barbara hugged him with tears in her eyes.

"What is goi-" Diluc was about to say something until he looked to his left to see a being he never saw before.

It had three heads, water surrounded it's body and...it kept summoning countless vortexes.

Diluc was frozen in fear. He may have met Dvalin and the Wolf of the North, Boreal but he never challenged them.

And now he was facing something like that and...it was bigger than any living creatures he had known.

Barbara noticed his state and started to shake him

'The only thing that can strike it down is something heavenly or...a stand capable of doing something heavenly.' Diluc thought.

He was brought out of his thoughts by Barbara's shaking.

"What do we do, Master Diluc!?" Barbara exclaimed in fear. Diluc noticed that.

He regained his composure. "Where is the captain!?" Diluc exclaimed.

"He abandoned ship!" One of the crew members exclaimed.

Diluc had to do something. He ran up to the helm and held the rudder.

'Where do I steer? That...thing is blocking our way to Liyue! and if we try to go back to Monstadt, we have to do a williamson turn.' Diluc thought.

Diluc then saw a few merchant ships get turned or oblitered by the rogue waves.

'When facing a rogue wave we have to make sure the front of the ship is facing it so by the time we do a williamson turn, we'll be obliterated!' Diluc thought in alarm.

"Full sails!" Diluc yelled as the men did so.

'The only direction I'll be facing is...Inazuma.' Diluc thought as he turned the rudder and the ship to the left.

'Sailing a ship in the middle of a thunderstorm with the odds against us...It's something Kaeya dreams of...Kaeya.' Diluc thought of his sworn brother.

"Barbara!" Diluc called as she came running to the helm.

"Can you...hold the helm steady?" Diluc asked as she was surprised.

"Y-Yes!" Barbara answered as she came and held onto the helm.

"Make sure...the ship is going in that...way." Diluc said pointing at Inazuma.

Barbara nodded as Diluc went into the captain's cabin.

Barbara looked back at the creature.

She noticed a floating island trying to shoot it.

'Maybe there's still hope...' Barbara thought.

Diluc then came up the stairs again.

"You have done enough..." Diluc said as he grabbed the rudder.

Barbara felt like she did something useful but thought that it wasn't enough.

"Is there anything I can do!?" Barbara asked as she mustered up courage.

"Play your lyre..." Diluc said as Barbara was surprised.

'Did...he just tell me to play my lyre in the middle of a thunderstorm!?' Barbara thought.

"W-What?" Barbara asked.

"It could very well be the last thing we hear..." Diluc said as Barbara was shocked he would say that.

But she thought about everything, Monstadt, her sister, the traveler, the bard, Barbatos and how she was going to leave them.

'Let's go out with a...bang!' Barbara decided as she got her Lyre out.

"Echoes!" Barbara called out her stand.

Echoes planted orchestra sound effects on the ship of different variations as she played her lyre.

Everone on the ship listened to her music and was satisfied that they will die listening to it.

Diluc then noticed a rock on the way and was trying to steer it away from it.

But the rudder broke.

"No!" Diluc exclaimed as he brought Magicians Red out and used it to move the ropes that was attached to the rudder.

But the ship hit the rock and...a shipwreck occured.
