"I told you to come alone," Bo sneered to Ruby.

"I didn't think you meant Tanni," Ruby said gesturing casually to her friend. "I go everywhere with her."

"You look," Bo paused walking over to Ruby, "just like her."

Ruby was suddenly very very uncomfortable. She hadn't felt this uncomfortable since her husband. Dead husband now, was still alive… "who?" Ruby asked though she knew the answer

"I never really understood her hold over people. The Senate, Kenobi, 'her' people. But I see it now looking at you." Bo continued.

Ruby started breathing more quickly, "if you're not going to apologize, I'm leaving." She said with a bit of venom in her tone. She turned to the tent's opening but found it was blocked by a pair of Mandalorians. Tanni walked towards Ruby but Bo grabbed her arm and pulled her back. Ruby fumed, "No one touches Tanni."

"Go on," Bo said pushing Ruby closer and closer to the Mandalorian in front of her, until she was practically pushed into his arms. "I bet if you bat your eyes and pout he'll move for you. It always worked for Satine. All she had to do was wear a pretty dress and smile and an entire world was handed to her." Ruby started to feel as though this would never be over. This was a mistake. Bo wasn't going to apologize. That dream was too good to be true. She was only here to be demeaned and berated.

She glared up at the Mandalorian in front of her, "Move!" She demanded. But he didn't move, not that Ruby thought he would. They had no faces, no eyes, which felt so cold and disconnected. Like they were all emotionless statues.

"Unfortunately these men only listen to me," Bo smirked.

"Your hate isn't with me," Ruby said turning towards Bo, "It's with someone I was too young to remember. Someone you clearly didn't get along with. Someone who died and isn't coming back. Punishing me just because I look like Satine won't change anything."

"Your a bit thin," Bo mused.

Ruby sighed. It was a shame really. She and her sister would never get along. "What does it matter Bo?"

"I would think most men like women with more meat on them," she shrugged. Ruby blushed, another touchy subject. After spending any amount of time in slavery, she was surprised how much 'meat,' as Bo called it, she was able to have.

"Again, what does it matter?" Ruby crossed her arms.

Ruby hated the stupid smile on Bo's face. Hated her games. Bo knew she had all the power in the room and that Ruby had none. Bo reveled in it. This little meeting was starting to feel much too much like her wedding night. Like predator and prey. Ruby suddenly couldn't control her breathing and her hands began to shake. It was the anxiety again. Her eyes darted to Tanni's who was opening and closing her hands at her side. That's how Tanni would remind Ruby to steady her hands during important meetings. Ruby clenched her fists. She hoped Bo hadn't noticed her tremors, but figured she did anyways.

Bo held out her hands for Ruby to take. Ruby held her breath and focused on stilling her hands. She reached out and gave Bo her hands, praying that this is when the apology would happen. Bo laced her fingers through Ruby's. And for a second, it felt so nice. It felt like a moment she'd always dreamed of. And then the moment was gone, just as quickly as it came. And Ruby mentally chastised herself for being so naive, so gullible, so desperate for her sister's love and acceptance.

Bo squeezed Ruby's hands harder, hard enough to elicit a whimper. Then she backed Ruby into the armored man standing behind her, sandwiching her between them. She felt Bo's hands slip away just as the man behind her grabbed onto her forearms, restraining her. Ruby tugged at her arms, but the man behind her wasn't going to let her go.

"Did you really just bring me here to belittle me? To be entertainment for you and your men?" She scoffed. "You heard I was finally happy and you couldn't let that happen, could you?"

"Marriage wasn't what you thought it would be?" Bo pretended to care. Ruby clenched her jaw and narrowed her eyes. "Oh Ruby, if only looks could kill!" Bo and a few others in the room laughed. "It's a shame you never stuck around. Had you let me train you, things might be different. But just like Satine, you're too goody for us."

"Is that what you think?" Ruby shook her head. "You're wrong Bo, and perhaps now I can understand your dislike for me. I didn't leave because I think too highly of myself. I left because I was a scared little girl who couldn't find happiness in killing things for a living. I was nine, Bo. You should have went after me. You should have protected me from what was out there. You left me alone in the galaxy, not the other way around."

Bo growled, "I tried to protect you! By teaching you to protect yourself! You're the one who refused! You have too much of our pacifist sister inside you. You're weak!"

Ruby shook at her sister's harsh words. Her eyes filled with tears. Bo smiled at the site, proud of the power she held, imagining Satine before her and not Ruby. Bo nodded and Ruby's wrists were released. She rubbed at the painful red marks leftover on her wrists. Tanni was at her side in an instant, looking over her lady's bruises in a motherly way.

"I'm glad I left when I did," Ruby sneered, "otherwise I would have turned into you!"

"Sadly, you'll never be me," Bo cooed. "But I have use for your other.. talents."

"What makes you think I'd ever help you!" She yelled.

Bo nodded to one of her men who came to retrain Tanni. Ruby's attempt at fighting him off was futile. "I did tell you to come alone," Bo reminded, "but perhaps your friend can convince you to assist me."

"Leave Tanni alone!" Ruby demanded.

"I have a gift for you, a second chance at wedded bliss," Bo mocked her pain.

"I would never marry again," Ruby said plainly.

"No?" Bo gestured two fingers at Tanni and a blade appeared at her throat.

"You wouldn't," Ruby shook her head. Bo nodded at her man. The blade cut at Tanni's throat, Tanni whimpered at the slice of pain. "Don't touch her!"

Ruby was stunned by the sudden appearance of a blaster aimed at Tanni's captor. It was the shiny armored Mandalorian, with the rifle. "This isn't what we agreed to," he said. Every other man in the room, aside from Tanni's captor, had a blaster aimed at him.

"Tell your men to stand down," Ruby snarled, feeling taller and stronger then she'd ever felt before. "Now!"

Bo nodded and Tanni was released. Ruby rushed over to Tanni's side, holding her in her arms and inspecting the small gash on her neck. Bo rolled her eyes, "so dramatic. Such theatrics. Such a politician you've become. Put down your blaster Din." Reluctantly, he didn't and so did the rest of the room.

"This isn't what we agreed to, the terms have changed. I'm out," he said. Din started walking to the tent's opening.

"You would have my sister alone on a ship filled with my men then?" Bo said crossing her arms. "You know how my men can get. It's been a while since they'd seen a prized woman. I can't say for certain what will happen."

Din's conscience twisted inside of him. This is what Bo always did. Changed the deal, left details out on purpose, guilted him into helping her. Din stopped and turned back around. His gaze dropped to the pair of women on the floor. Sometimes he really hated having morals. He crossed his arms. It looked like he was staying after all. Bo smiled, knowing his choice was made.

"Din, Ruby thought, may have just earned a small amount more respect in her book. Considering he started with none, he still wasn't very high up in her opinion.

"If I had known I'd be treated like cattle," Ruby glared at Bo, "I would have sent a slave in my stead." She clutched Tanni, as if she'd let go, she'd lose her.

"Fancy rich girl words," Bo mocked. "Soon your slaves will belong to Clan Saxon. And your fortune will be used to rebuild Mandalore."

"No," Ruby said sternly. "Mandalore deserves to rot and the Mandalorians deserve to fall."

Bo marched up to her sister and ripped her out of Tanni's arms. She took Ruby's face in his hand and forced it against the table. Then she pinned down her arms and forced her legs apart. Ruby started to tremble. "I think I know why you're shy about another marriage. Weren't treated so well, huh?"

Ruby fought hard against Bo, but especially covered in beskar, Ruby was no match for her. "I hate you!" She screamed.

Din had his blaster on Bo, "Stop," he said. Bo glared at Din as if to say 'who's side are you on,' but she knew the answer. Din was only on his own side. Bo grabbed Ruby's ponytail and pulled. Din fingered his blaster. Even with every other man's blaster on him, she knew Din would still do it. He would fight his way out of this one if he had to. And he would probably win too.

Bo let go of Ruby, and Ruby fell to the floor in tears, still shaking. She hadn't been picturing Bo behind her, it was her ex husband instead. Tanni pulled Ruby into her lap and held her head, whispering sweet and safe words into her ear.

"Your husband's a lucky one," Bo mused, "someone else has already broken you in for him. You have no fight left in you. So compliant. It's a good trait in a wife."

Ruby was no longer hearing words. The room was starting to go dark, she had tunnel vision. She was in a losing battle with her mind.

"Stand them up," Bo mumbled to one of her Mandalorians. He took them both by the necks, one in each hand and pulled them to their feet like they weighed nothing at all. Ruby leaned against Tanni for strength.

"Your handmaiden stays with me," Bo told her.

Ruby shook her head, "no, there's no way I'd trust you with her. I'll go, I'll do it. But I'm taking Tanni!"

"I'll send Tanni to you as an after wedding gift," Bo explained.

"No!" Ruby protested.

"I'm not giving you a choice," Bo added. "You look beautiful, you do have to touch up your makeup again though. Your crying ruined it."

"This isn't a wedding dress," Ruby said, straightening herself, pulling together her dignity and drying her tears with her hand.

"Good thing Mandalorians aren't sentimental," Bo shrugged, her men chuckled. "I'd prepare for your wedding night though. Mandalorians fuck like Rancors." She said earning more laughter still.

Bo nodded and one of her men picked up Ruby and threw her over his shoulder. She kicked and screamed. "No! Let me go!"

"Your cruiser awaits princess!" Bo called playfully as Ruby was hauled out of the tent. "Take the other girl to the kitchen. I hope she can cook."

Din clenched his fist as he watched Ruby getting carried out of the tent kicking and screaming. "She doesn't want this." Din sneered.

"You know clan rules. I'm the head of her clan, capable of making decisions for her. My decision is final," Bo said. "I want you to make sure she's delivered to Clan Saxon, unmarked."

There was a long pause before Din finally said anything. "Done. But I want half up front." Din told her.

Bo glared at him, "deal." She said reluctantly, still pleased with herself that he hadn't backed out on their deal.
