Terry entered the warehouse, to see the destroyed state in the inside. "Man, this place is dusty. But this will do." Terry said to himself. He then entered through a hallway to see the posters of the puppets cast in the show. They consist of Mortimer Handee, Riley Ruckus, Daisy Danger, and Nick Nack. He then saw a large arrow pointing to the left, with a news article on it. It was about the fire that broke out in the warehouse. He then look to the left to see some sort of gift shop. He walked up to a shelf to see some videos tapes of some episodes he have watched. "Alright. I hit the jackpot. I just need to find some televisions and some tape players, and maybe I can make a movie theater." Terry said as he look at the video tapes. He then heard some lights being turned on. "Guess, I'm not alone here. Come on Terry, you may be weak, but you can't be scared." Terry said as he went to the source.

Terry went to see where the lights came from, and saw a stage with a man standing there with a puppet. It was Mortimer Handee. He walked up to it, then the puppet came to life. "Well, hello old bean. What brings you to this strange scene?" Asked Mortimer. "Oh, sorry about coming here. I thought this place was abandoned. If you don't mind, I'll leave you alone." Said Terry, as he was about to leave. "Oh no my good sir. You are alright to be here, so don't make a stir." Said Mortimer. "Now I can tell you're star struck, and of course you should be. Because I am Mortimer Handee! Star of Mortimer's Handeemen, a smash hit tv show!" Mortimer continued. "I can tell you are a fan and wouldn't you know, today's you're lucky day. What a member I bet, because I can get you your very Handeemen Puppet." Mortimer said.

Then the table with one hatch opened up, and out came a puppet. It had blue hair, purple eyes, and a shirt with Mortimer face on it. "I apologize, we used to have more. So this one will do, so don't be sore." Mortimer said. Terry was a bit nervous at first. He wanted to reject the offer and get out of here, but there isn't much for him out there. He decided to play along, so he put the puppet in his left hand. "You know, there's a reason Handeemen puppets are so lifelike and true. When you wear them, they really wear you." Mortimer said in a dark voice. Then the man fell on the table, revealing to be lifeless. "Yo, buddy. Are you alright?" Terry asked to the body. Then smoke appeared from Mortimer, and he started to chant some unknown language. "Rise puppet rise! And claim the soul of this host for your prize!" Mortimer said out loud. Then everything went black.

Terry woke up to see that he is in some sort of dark space on a bridge. Then suddenly, a large Mortimer appeared in front of him. He started to say something, but Terry couldn't hear what he said, due to being paralyzed in fear. He was about to give up hope, until he saw some boards fall from the sky onto the broken bridge, then a large tv appeared in front of him. Terry wasted no time in running towards the tv. Mortimer got angry about what is happening. Before he could do anything, Terry jump through the tv.

Terry then woke up with a pain in his mouth, head, and his left hand. He tried to hold his head, but he felt something blocking his left hand. "Hey. What the? I'm not making the host do that." Said a feminine voice. Terry look to his left hand to see that it was the puppet he wore, stitched to it. "Wait. Was that eye contact there? Are you awake?" Said the puppet. Terry then tried to scream, but felt his mouth stitched up. The puppet screamed too, in fear. "Nonononono. You're supposed to be out! A zombie! Zonked! Im supposed to control you completely!" Said the puppet in fear. Then a couple of screens came to life, featuring Riley wearing a smiley face mask. Terry then put his head down, and the puppet up in the air in hopes of fooling Riley. The puppet is confused at first, but decided to play along.

"Welcome to puppet host orientation. Our purpose is to measure your host control and manipulation." Said Riley. "Yep, I am ready. I hope the tests are steady, hehehe." Said the puppet in fear. "You remembered to rhyme, just don't forget this time. And remember, Scout. You have two failed tests in the past. If you failed this one, it will surely be your last. Now proceed." Said Riley. "Psst. Hold me to the screen. Before she gets suspicious." Whispered Scout. Terry then walked up to the screen next to the door, and put Scout next to it. Scout then put her hand on the screen, and the door opened. "Let the testing begin." Said Riley as the screens turned off.

The duo entered the room to see a device with two buttons in front of them. One big, and one small. "Ok, listen. If you don't want us to get killed, you got to do what I say. Now we need to press the button at the same time. At the count of three." Said Scout as they go near the device. Then Scout counted up to three, and they both pushed the buttons. Then a small jingle came out. "That was surprisingly well done. Continue forward, let's see how you handle the next one." Said Riley, as the next door opened. The duo entered an empty room with a door leading to the next room. "Please wait here and do not further tread. Another test subject is finishing up ahead." Said Riley. Then there was screaming coming from the other side of the door, with a growling of some sort of creature. Then there was silence. "I'm going to be sick" said Scout as the door opened to reveal blood splattered across the room.

They both entered the room, then there was a crash that scared Scout, but not Terry who had his head down. "That was a test of reflex and reaction, which you have managed to pass with satisfaction." Said Riley. "Test my reflexes when I kick your ass, Riley." Scout grumbled. The duo then came upon a mechanism with two handles on it. "Ok, just turn your handle in the same direction at the same time ok." Said Scout. Terry then jerked his head up and down. They then turned the handle in the same way and direction. After a while, the same jingle came up, signaling them to stop. "Huh, another test passed. But this success, I suspect, was your last." Said Riley in an angered tone.

The duo then entered to the next room filled with books. "Please hold steady. The next chamber isn't ready." Said Riley. Then the cameras that were watching them turned off. Terry took the chance to find some sharp object to take off the strings in his mouth and hand. "Hey, stop for a second, and listen." Scout said, in an angered tone. Terry stopped and looked at her. "You have managed to pass like a mindless zombie, but you can't act crazy now. I don't have time, so I'll make this short. Basically, you're in some sort of place filled with murderous sentient puppets from a canceled children's tv show who were brought to life by an evil voodoo spell and now they want to drain your life force in order to sustain themselves, so they can bring their cancelled show back to life and take over the world." Riley said out of breath.

Terry just looked at her as she was crazy. Why would they want to take over a dead world? Unless they have no idea what happened out there. "Did that all make sense to you?" Asked Scout. Terry nodded in response. "Either your a phenomenal listener or you're bullshitting me." Said Scout. "Look. I know you're scared, but that's how it is. If you didn't noticed, but I am not so much popular around here. I never really fit in with the other puppets. I have been trying to escape for a while, but I can't pass Riley's dog and pony show. If you can help me with this, maybe we can get out of here. But we got to work together. So what do you say? Are we a team?" Said Scout. Terry thought about it for a moment. He could get rid of Scout, and make a run for it. But considering he is in some sort of lab and heard some sort of beast out there, he pretty much don't have a choice. Beside that, Scout seems to be friendlier than the others. With his mind made up, he nodded his head. "Great. Just continue with your act, and maybe we can find a way out. Just stop the act, if Riley finds out." Said Scout.

Then the cameras came to life, and Terry acted like he is mindless. "I apologize for the pace being slow. The next chamber is ready to go." Said Riley as the doors opened. They entered the room to see a dark corridor. "Man, it's dark in here. Host, push my head lightly. My head acts like a flashlight, so push it." Terry then lightly pushed her head, and lights came out of her eyes. They then travel to see a glass panel to another room. They got closed to it, only for a monstrous dog to appear, roaring at them. This scared Scout and Terry, but he had to show no reaction. "No Roscoe. Sit my pet. Don't attack them, not quite yet." Said Riley. The duo kept on walking through the dark corridors until they came to a dimly lit room with some sort of machine.

"Welcome to visual hand coordination. This custom designed handy big ball drop and sort device will test your ability to non-verbally relay information." Said Riley. "Ok host. Since we are not connected. I'll tell you which button to press, and you just press it. Just make sure you make a mistake or two. I don't want Riley to suspect anything." Said Scout. Terry then went up to the machine as he put Scout in a small box. Then the machine started. Scout told Terry which button to push, and he pushed the right button. Terry missed on a ball, to make sure that Riley doesn't get suspicious. The confetti came out of the machine. "What? You've passed the test you've always failed somehow. I'm skeptical, but continue on now." Said Riley as the next door opened.

"I think we have time to search around the room. I know you want to take the strings off, and so do I. But let's hurry." Said Scout. They then searched the room they were in. Luckily they managed to find a pair of scissors, and a empty bottle. Terry took both of the items, and put it in his pockets. "I get the scissors, but why the bottle? Oh yeah. You can't talk. We'll use the scissors later, let's just go now." Said Scout. They then walked through the door to a ruined hallway. Terry turned on Scout's light as they walked through. They then heard growling, but it is not Roscoe. "Host. Turn me off now." Said Scout. Terry then turned off Scout, just as a large man with a sock puppet walked through. Terry then noticed a weak beam was holding the rubbish above the sock puppet. Terry then kicked the beam with all of his might. The sock puppet turned around to see the duo, but was crushed by the rubbish that fell down on them.

"Ok. That was badass, but also dangerous. You could have blown out cover. Sigh. Well, there is not cameras here, so I guess we are in the clear." Said Scout. The duo then continued to the next room filled with steam. Terry had to raise Scout above to guide him to the shutoff valve. As he made it and flipped the switch, the steam went away. He was about to walk away, until he stepped on something. He looked down to see a rat underneath his shoes. Terry then finally noticed that he is in some sort of suit. He then put his attention to the rat, and grabbed it by the tail. He noticed that is had some sort of fabric attached to his face. "Ugh, that's one of Riley's rat. Just let it go. Riley will notice one of her rats gone missing and believe me, I know." Said Scout. Terry then let go of the rat, and it ran away from the duo.

The duo then went up to some sort of machine similar to the one they have done before. "Welcome to advanced visual enhancing test version 1.013. Please approach the handy flag and waving machine." Said Riley. "Wow. Ok, I have never made it this far. I guess you pull the flag, and it would tell me which color button I should push. I don't know if it was designed this way or Riley is catching on. Let's just do it." Said Scout. They went up to the machine, and played the game there. The tv screens tell Terry which color flag he should pull, and it would tell Scout which button to push. After a while, the machine spewed out confetti. "Impossible, even at your best, there is no way you make it through that test!" Riley said in anger. "Relax Riley. Your plan's in place. Just keep yourself in pace." Said Riley as she calmed down.

"Plans in place? What does that mean?" Asked Scout. The duo went to the next door which led to the bathroom. Then a stall door opened wide. They looked to see Terry's original clothing he wore when he entered the warehouse. They also saw a medkit, with ointment, a bottle of water, and there was writing on the wall. "Wait. That's Mortimer's hand writing. It says 'Tell Riley, it is my test, and show her the pin. It will do the rest.' Why does Mortimer wants to give us this, and how did he know about you?" Scout asked. Terry shrugged in response. Scout then sighed. "Well, I guess you can use this medkit. I can help if you want." Scout said. They then grabbed the kit and got to work. After a while, they managed to cut the strings stitched to Terry's mouth and left hand. It was reveal that Scout can live without a host. "I don't get it. I can live without a host?" Said Scout. "I guess so. Mortimer must have told some lies to keep you in check." Said Terry in a raspy tone as he was putting ointment in his wounds. He then drank the entire bottle of water. After drinking the last drop, he put it on the side with the other bottle and scissors.

"By the way. My name is Terry Hintz." Said Terry. "I had to admit, that is a nice name. But why do you want to keep the bottles and scissors?" Said Scout. "Well, you never know when they could be useful." Replied Terry. "So what's it like out there?" Asked Scout. Terry didn't want to tell her about the harsh world out there, but she got to learn about it sooner or later. "Not now. Riley is waiting for us. If you don't mind. Can you turn around while I change?" Said Cedric. Scout then turned around as Cedric changed. He got into his black pants, cheetah jersey, and his childhood sweatbands. He put on the hood to not raise more suspicion from Riley. "Alright, let's put you back in my hand." Said Terry as he put Scout back into his left hand. "Wait, what about the pin Mortimer wrote?" Asked Scout. As Terry put his hand in his pocket, he pulled out a pin with an outline of Mortimer on it. "You should show it to Riley." Said Terry as he puts the bottles and scissors in his pockets.

The duo went up the the last test. The machine was labeled as the 'Failotron'. "Improbably, you ha-. Are you trying to be opposing? Where did you get that clothing?" Asked Riley. "Mortimer himself gave me a test. He said to show you this pin, that will take care of the rest." Said Scout as she showed the pin to a camera. After a while, Riley groaned and continued to speak. "Improbably, you have arrived at the last station. But I've added a special test just for you, that I think you will find quite a taxation." Said Riley.

"Failotron, oh come the fuck on! Host, I think Riley is onto us. If things go bad, make a run for it." Said Scout. They then went to the Failotron, and the screen came to life. They have tried their best, but to no avail. "Oh come on!" Said Scout in anger. "Uh oh. From what I can tell, it seems that your test didn't go well. I have told Mortimer time and time again. That you are not a Handeemen. But don't worry. Your body and your host's neck look so chewy. Roscoe! Get them!" Yelled Riley. Both doors opened, with one revealing Roscoe, and the other to an exit. Terry then took off his hood, and put Scout on top of his head. Scout hold on for dear life, and Terry grabbed the two bottles he collected. Roscoe was coming near them, and Terry threw the first bottle right into Roscoe left eye. It screamed in pain, and Terry took this chance to run away from it. They encountered a locked door with two buttons on a machine. Terry was about to push them until Roscoe recovered and ran towards them. "Terry! Behind you!" Shouted Scout. He turned and threw the second bottle to Roscoe remaining eye. The dog screamed in pain as it tried to recover.

Terry then pressed the buttons, and then it made a barricade between them and Roscoe. Roscoe then recovered, and it was revealed that both his eyes were covered in shards of glass. It then tried to break down the wall between them. "Terry, put me in your hand." Said Scout. Terry then put her on his hand, and they ran up to see the turning machine that was used in the test. They turned the handles, making a sturdier barricade appeared. Then at the last turn, it completely closed, just as Roscoe broke through. The duo took this chance to take a breather. "I can't believe that you managed to take out both of Roscoe's eyes." Said Scout. "I know. Me neither. But enough of that. Let's keep on moving. Since Riley wants us dead, she is going to hunt us down, especially after what I did to her dog." Said Terry. Scout nodded, and they begin to walk.

They walked through a dirty bathroom, and came upon a boarded up door. "Let's go through here. They won't suspect us to go through there." Terry said as he put Scout on his head. He then tries to rip the boards off, but to no avail. "On second thought. Let's go the other way." Said Terry. They then walked through some sort of meat freezer with bodies attached to hooks. "What is this place?" Asked Scout. "I think this is a place where Mortimer put the hosts to drain them for his plan. Like you said, he wants to take over the world." Replied Terry. They then walked through the bodies, then Terry saw a green piece on the floor. He picked it up to look at it. It was a green circle with the number one on it. "Hey I recognize that piece. It's part of a security pin. So that is what that pin is. Just put it on the pin, and put pin on me. It could allow us to go through secured doors that will open for the right pin." Scout said.

After Terry put together the pin and put it on Scout, they continued to walk. And they encountered a door with a security clearance. "Hey Terry. Before I activate the door. Can you do me a favor, and kill me if they get us?" Asked Scout. "What?! Why would I do that?!" Asked Terry. "Well, it's because when they get us, they are not going to kill us right then and there. They'll do horrible things to us. I don't want to talk about it. But can you do that to me please?" Said Scout. "Well. We are going to make it out. I am sure of it. But if it looks like it's the end, I will grant you that promise." Replied Terry. "Sigh. Thank you Terry. You really are a good friend." Scout said. She then activated the door, and they went through it. It was then revealed to be an elevator.

"Ok, if we are going to get out of here, I know a way out. There is a hole from the fire that leads outside. But unfortunately, it is in where Mortimer's section and to get to there, we have to go through the sound stage, where all the other puppets are. So I hope you are a fast runner." Said Scout. "Don't worry Scout. I won't let anything bad happen to you. They don't call me Fast Legs Terry for nothing." Said Terry. "Ok, it's just that I thought hosts like being hosts. That is what Mortimer said. But it doesn't seem to be that way. Anyway, you didn't answer my question from the bathroom. What's it like in the host world? Is it good?" Terry was hesitant at first, but decided to tell her everything.

He told her about the flash destroying the world, on how the flash took away all of the women, and how the world is now. Scout looked at him with wide eyes. "Really, wow that is a shame." Said Scout. "Is that your reaction? The world is dead out there, and that is how you react?" Said Terry a bit annoyed. "Nonono. I'm sorry, it's just that it is a bit hard to believe that. But that does explained the large earthquake, and why most of the hosts that entered here were mostly men. Look, I'm sorry. It's just that I thought the host world is different." Said Scout. "You see, before my first orientation, I came upon a working tv with working cable on it. I don't know how long I was watching it before Riley caught me. Ever since, I never fit in, and eventually I stopped rhyming." Scout continued. "Wait. All cable TVs were considered useless. What did you watched?" Cedric asked. "Well it was about some men talking about something, I don't know. It was a while ago. But they did mentioned about some sort of city they live in." Replied Scout. "Was it before or after the earthquake?" Asked Terry. "I think it was after the earthquake, like a year ago I think. Wait, are you saying that we should go there, after we get out of here?" Scout said. "I guess so. I don't know what to do with my life now. So the city might be the perfect place to go, and start over." Said Terry. "That's amazing. I can't wait to go there. But first, let's get out of here." Said Scout as she pushed a button.

The elevator then began to move, and after a while it stopped. They got out of the elevator, only to hear Riley's voice. "Attention Handeemen of every shape. A defective puppet named Scout and her host have escaped. They have corrupted my data and rendered my tests incomplete. So you must hunt them down now and hope the their retreat. Rip out their eyes, eat their skin, burn their skin, throw them in the trash, OR I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU ALL!" Said Riley as she shouted the last words. "Wow. I have never heard Riley not rhyme. She must be losing it." Said Scout. They walked up to the door only to see it locked. "Looks like we need a new security pin. Any suggestions?" Said Terry. "We should look around for it." Said Scout. The walked around until they saw a box with a handle on it. There was also writings on the wall. "Another message from Mortimer. It says 'mind if I join in on the fun.'" Said Scout. Terry looked at the box for a while, then placed Scout on his head, grabbed the box, and threw it as hard as he can to the wall.

It broke into multiple pieces, revealing a fake head of Mortimer with cracks on it, and the piece of the security pin on its hat. "Sorry, but I had to do it. It could have been a trap." Said Cedric as he picked up the piece, and connected to the pin. "It looked like we need to find the other three pieces to the pin. Also why is Mortimer helping us? That makes no sense." Said Scout. "I've seen something like this. The people always help their victims to get closer to their goals, only to kill them in the end. Let's hope it doesn't go that way." Said Terry as he walked back to the door. They then heard growling, and saw another sock puppet with their host. Terry saw that it only had one eye. He then grabbed the scissors he took a while back, and hid. When the sock puppet got closed, he reached for the sock puppet, and jabbed the scissors into its eye. The sock puppet screamed in pain, while its host tried to take out the scissors. The duo went to the door, where Scout opened it, and closed it behind them.

"Ok, next time. Tell me what you are going to do. Because that was too close for me." Said Scout. Terry nodded, and they continued on their way to the next door. They saw the controls to be covered in blood. "Yeah. No, no, no. You see I have, uh thing with blood. Like a phobia. So I can't handle them. Hmph. I think I nearly threw up in my mouth." Said Scout a bit scared. "Scout, listen." Said Terry as put Scout in his hand to look at her. "When we get out of there. The world is not going to be what you think. There is going to be blood, and death. Not the one you have seen. But hosts death. There will be people who want to hurt us. One day, you might have to help me with fight back those bad people. All you need to do is fight back your fear, and push through. Please, Scout. I believe in you." Said Terry in a calming voice. Scout thought about it for a while. "Ok. Just, you will be there for me. Right?" Said Scout in a timid voice. "Of course Scout. We need to look out for each other." Terry said with a smile. Scout smiled back, and with all of her courage activated the controls.

The door opened, and the duo went through it. The wen through another door, and saw the main entrance to the main stage. "Hey. That's the exit right there. Come on." Said Scout. They walked up to it, only to see it locked with a terminal. "Damn it. We need to find the other pieces and restore power to the terminals. Let's find the breaker box." Said Scout. They walked around, until they saw the breaker box. Terry then saw the same rat he stepped on with a key in its mouth. He ran up to it, and stomped on its head. The rat stopped moving, and laid still as Terry grabbed the key. "That was a bit too much." Said Scout. "Well, it could have ran off somewhere in the building, and we both don't want to stay another second longer here." Said Terry as he unlocks the breaker box. After flipping some switches, the lights turned on. "Great. We got power. Now we need to find the pieces to the pin." Said Scout.

They walked to the door that don't need any pins, and opened it. They walked through to see that they are in a costume compartment. "Careful. This is Daisy's territory. She is a bit worse then Riley. We got to be careful." Said Scout. They walked past mannequins with puppets in their arms. They then walked up to a control panel. "Huh, wonder what it does?" Asked Scout. They looked around it for a while, then Terry found a audio recording. He then played it. "This is unbelievable. I don't know why, but Owen replaced the water from fire system with gasoline. The only fire alarm is near the main stage, and I don't think that is going to help if the main stage is on fire. I don't know if he did it as a prank, or he is just tired. I mean, he worked too hard with his puppets, especially Mortimer." "Well, he just take great pride in them. Look, let's worry about it later. We just need to confront Owen about Daisy. It's just that she nearly sliced that kid's arm off. I've checked with her arm, and it's seems to work perfectly. We to cover this from the news." Yeah. Let's just go now. This place gives me the creeps."

"Hm. Might be useful later on." Terry said to himself. He then turned around only to see a corpse of a petrified man. Both Scout and Terry screamed in fear. "Oh shit! That's Owen, the man who made us! And then went crazy, and used some voodoo spell to bring us to life. I bet he regret that now." Said Scout. They quickly left the corpse, and continued on their way. During their walk, they felt like something is watching them. They then came upon a puppet strapped on a board, with an X-ray in front of it. "Ugh. Puppet surgery. Riley loves this shit. If she had a piece, she might have left it... in there." Said Scout. Terry then puts Scout on his head again, and dug around the organs of the puppet corpse. After a while, he then found something. He pulled it out to reveal it was a lighter, with a piece attached to it. "Yes, that's one down. Just two more to go." Said Scout as Terry puts the piece to the pin. They then left the costume compartment, and closed the door behind them.

They went to the next door, and opened it. It revealed to be some sort of laboratory. "Riley's lab. This used to be a workshop, but Riley uses it to put puppets on rats and other creatures. Be careful. You never know what kind of creatures might come out." Said Scout. They walked into the workshop, and saw a box with mechanisms on it. Terry tried to walk forward, but then saw three large puppet rats sleeping near it. "Do not get near those things. You might have bested those puppets and Roscoe before, but they are faster then you. I think you need to lure them one by one, and you know what do to with them." Said Scout. Terry tried to think how to lure them away, but was distracted by a bad smell. He went to investigate the smell, and saw a trash can filled with hands. "I think, I'm going to be sick, but this could work." Terry said as he grabbed a hand from the trash can.

He went to a corner, and placed the hand near to one of the rats. The rat smelled it, and went to it. Only for Terry to grabbed it, and break its neck. He repeated it to the other rats. "I had to admit, that was satisfying. Now lets open this box before more of those rats come here." Said Scout. They went up to it, only to for it to be locked. "Well, now what?" Asked Scout. "I did see a key lodge in that horrific machine nearby. I can break the glass, and you can get the key." Terry replied. They then went to the machine, where Terry broke the glass of it and Scout got into his hand and went inside to grabbed the key, only to get out of there when the machine came to life. "That was close." Said Terry. "Yeah. But I am getting a bit tired from this close calls bullshit." Said Scout. They then went to the box, and used the key. After solving its puzzle, they managed to get the third piece. "Ok, just one more to go. And we can finally leave this place." Said Terry. They then left the room, and closed the door behind them.

They finally entered the last room, where it was revealed to be some sort of dressing room. "This used to be the dressing room. Now it belongs to Nick Nack. Don't let his cutesy artiste thing fool you. He is a cold blooded maniac. Let's hope he's not here." They searched around, looking into the dressing room, finding a button in one of them. Terry pressed it, then a projector came out from the ceiling. They went to it, where Terry put Scout in his right hand, and raised her up to push the buttons. Each slides shows each main character quote, but in Nick Nack's slide, it said 'you must suffer in the arts', with 'arts' written in red. "I think that word could be the code for the lock connected to that diagram." Said Scout as Terry lowered her down. They then went to the the lock, and put in the code. It then unlocked the door leading to the diagram. After playing the tune from a old record player to the piano in there, the last piece appeared in a small house. Scout grabbed it and put it in the pin.

"Yes, we can finally leave." Said Scout. "Yes, but not now. From what you said about the main stage being Mortimer's domain, he is probably waiting for us there." Said Terry. "Oh yeah. I forgot." Said Scout in a sad tone. "Hey, do you smell gasoline?" Asked Scout. Terry then smelled gasoline too. They went to a door that was opened, but boarded up. After going through the cracks, they saw a gas canister, with empty bottles near to it. "Yes! I know how we can get out of here. We need to burn this place for good." Said Terry. "Wait, what?! Why?!" Asked Scout in surprise. "You said that Mortimer wants to rule over the world, and I don't think that he could do much better to the world due its state. Beside, we can't let anyone become a victim to the puppets living here." Terry replied as he went to the canister. "Ok, you got a point. But how are we going to burn this warehouse down?" Asked Scout. "During our time in Daisy's domain, I found a recording of two men talking about Owen putting gasoline in the fire system. I guess he did that to destroy the puppets, in case something bad happens. The fire that happened before was an attempt to destroy them, but it failed." Terry said as he fills a bottle with the canister. "We just need to pull the fire alarm, which will doused the entire warehouse in gasoline and then we lit it on fire, burning everything into ashes." Terry continued as he emptied the canister into the bottle. He then grabbed a ragged that was soaked in gasoline and put it in the mouth of the bottle, creating a fire bomb.

"We only get one chance at this. We just need to distract Mortimer somehow." Said Terry as he hid the fire bomb. "But are you sure this would work?" Asked Scout. "We don't have much of a choice. Now let's get out of this nightmare." Said Terry as they got out of the dressing room. They then went through the door to the main stage, and it closed behind them. They went into the hallway, and finally made it to the main stage. A large curtain is separating the duo from the main stage. "Scout. Where is the hole you've mentioned?" Whispered Terry. "It's unfortunately on the other side." Scout whispered back. Terry then saw a switch on the wall and flipped it thinking it is the fire alarm. Then the curtain rises, to reveal Mortimer with Roscoe, and an unknown puppet.

"Ah just the amazing duo I wanted to see. Come join us for some tea. And don't go for the door. I control the whole room with my handy control board." Said Mortimer. "Damn it. What do we do?" Asked Scout. Terry looked around and saw the fire alarm on the other side. "Scout, listen to me carefully. I am going to throw you to that control board, and you must press as many buttons to open the doors. I'll go pull the alarm, and get ready to burn this place. Do you think you could handle it?" Whispered Terry. Scout got a bit nervous. She looked at the puppets in front of her, then at the exit, then at Terry. She then let out a sigh, and smiled. "Ok, Terry. Let's do it." Said Scout. Then without hesitation, Terry threw Scout to the table, knocking some of the contents off of the table.

Terry then ran to the fire alarm, dodging Roscoe who had the glass shards in his eyes removed. He then pulled the alarm, then there was a siren sound. Then sprinklers came to life, spraying gasoline across the whole warehouse. "What is this?! I demand to know!" Said Riley who came out of Roscoe stomach. The unknown puppet tried to bite Scout, but she shield herself with the control board as she pressed the buttons. Then all the doors opened, just as the sprinklers stopped. Scout was then grabbed by Mortimer by her head. "You have become a nuisance to us all. Now it is time for your fall." Said Mortimer in an angry tone. "Hey you evil dumbass puppets!" Mortimer, Roscoe, Riley, and the unknown puppet turned to see Terry lighting up the fire bomb. "You may have been holding to our strings, but we have been in control the whole time." Said Terry. Scout then took this chance to grabbed the teapot that was on the table, and hits Mortimer in the face. Mortimer puts his hand on his face, while Terry ran up to grab Scout, and put her in his head.

They made it to the door and with the all of his might, Terry threw the fire bomb directly at Mortimer's body. The whole main stage went up in flames. The puppets screamed in pain as the fire eats their body. Scout and Terry ran through the door, and out of the main stage. They kept on running, dodging the flames that had managed to erupt from the main stage. They then exit through a door, to reveal that they were back at where Terry started. Terry then ran down the halls, and out the exit. They finally exit the warehouse, just as it engulfs in flames. It was night time, and he kept on running, just to be safe. After running for a while, he stopped and looked back to see the burning warehouse. He then sat down, and put Scout next to him as they watched the warehouse burning down to the ground.

"It's over." Said Scout. "Yeah. It is." Said Terry. "It feels so different out here. The air, the ground. It's just so different." Said Scout. "Thank you. I really mean it. I don't know how you managed to snap out of it, but I'm glad you did. If it weren't for that. We both would have been dead." Scout continued. "Yeah. I'm glad that I came here." Said Terry. "So what do we do know?" Asked Scout. "Well, like I said. We are heading to the city, you have mentioned." Said Terry. "You really mean that?" Asked Scout. "Yes, I do. But for know, let's go to sleep. After what had happened, we deserve to rest." Terry said as he lied down. Scout then yawned and got on top of him. "Yeah, you're right. Tonight, we rest. For tomorrow, we travel." Said Scout as she closed her eyes. Terry chuckled, then went to sleep.

Terry was the first to wake up after hearing some grunting noises. He then woke up Scout, and they looked to see the warehouse completely reduced to rubble and ashes. And dragging himself from the wreckage is Mortimer, with burns on his body, had only one arm left, and is missing his lower jaw. "Scout, stay here. I just need to get something." Said Terry. He then left, leaving Scout to look after Mortimer. He kept on dragging himself to get close to Scout, but she kept her distance. Terry came back with a large rock in his hands. He walked up to Mortimer who was glaring at Terry. "Here." Said Scout as she threw something near to Mortimer. Mortimer grabbed the object to reveal it was the security pin. "And that's the end of your show." Said Scout. Then Terry raised the rock up and slammed down onto Mortimer, crushing him. He raised it up to see Mortimer not moving. He then repeatedly crushing him until his head was destroyed into small pieces.

After that, Terry then picked up Scout, and place him on his head. He then went to the remains of Mortimer, and picked him up. He went inside of the burned building, and walked through the corridors. Despite it being burned and all the walls were destroyed, it still felt creepy to walk through there. He passed by the charred remains of Riley, Roscoe, and all of the other puppets. Then he finally found a trash can that had fire coming from it. He walked up to it and threw Mortimer's remains into it, which finally burned the body into ashes. As they walked back, Terry saw a small shirt. It was the same one like Scout was wearing, but with no logo. "Hey Scout. You should wear this. It seems better than the one you are wearing." Said Terry as he hands her the shirt. "Ok. I don't want this one to remind me of him. Just look away for a while." Said Scout as she took the shirt.

While Scout changes into her new shirt, Terry found a chest bag (it's a real thing. Look it up.), a marker, a piece of paper, and a push pin that managed to survived the fire. He then wore chest bag and found it comfortable, and it had a pocket, where Scout can be put in, instead of being on his head. He check the pockets of it, then he pulled out a switchblade, and an empty revolver. He could use the switchblade to fight back against the horrible men in the wasteland, and maybe he could bluff his way out with the empty revolver. He then puts the revolver and switchblade in his pants pockets. "Ok, I'm ready." Shouted Scout. "Ok, just give me a minute." Said Terry as he wrote something in the paper. After writing in the paper, he put it up on a beam that was still standing. It was a hint, that said 'Hint: Do not make a deal using unholy forces, for it will go bad. -Voodoo Repeling Terry.'. He put the marker in his pocket, and walked back to see Scout changed into a different shirt. He picked her up, and place her in the pocket of the chest bag. He then begins to walk away from the smoldering ruins to begin his journey to the city. After walking for a while, he came upon a dock with a man next to a boat. "Should I hide?" Asks Scout. "Nah, your good. You're a puppet, so you're in the clear. And beside I know that man." Said Terry.

"Hey there Shardy! How are you doing?" Said Cedric in a energetic tone. The man turned around to see a man with a puppet in his chest bag. "Hey there Terry. It's good to see you." Said Shardy. "It's good to see you too. And this Scout, my new friend." He continued. Scout let out a timid hello to the man. "Huh, a sentient puppet. That's neat." Shardy said as he pays her head. She then felt calm as the man was friendly. "So what are you doing?" Asked Scout. "Well, I am just waiting for some men to pay me to take them to some islands. What are you two doing?" Said Shardy. "Well, we heard rumors of a live city that was broadcasts from a tv my friend saw." Said Terry. "Oh, yeah! I saw that too. Believe it or not, that city is in the direction on where I am heading. You just need to go through Garbage Island, the keep walking east til you make it there." Said Shardy. "I'd be happy to take you a trip to Garbage Island, but that place isn't the same anymore. From my last visit, it didn't look safe. Well, less safer than usually. So, do you want to head there?" Asked Shardy. Scout and Terry looked at each other for a while, then to Shardy, and nodded.

The trip to the island didn't take long. Then the boat stopped, as Shardy parked the boat next to the island. Terry jumped off with Scout in his chest bag. They then both looked back and thanked Shardy for taking them to the island. "Your welcome. But are you sure about this? I just had a bad feeling that something bad happened to the island." Asked Shardy. "Nah, I think we will be fine. And besides, I have been here before. And I know the way to the other side." Said Terry. "Well, ok. Goodbye, and good luck on finding the city!" Shardy said as he drove the boat away. The duo looked back to see garbage around them. "Ugh. It reeks here." Said Scout. "It may reeks, but a couple of trash ain't going to stop us." Said Terry. "Yeah! Let's go!" Said Scout as they began their journey to the city, not noticing the pole on top of a pile of trash. It had a jersey attached to with, acting like a flag. It was red, with a green eighty eight on it.
