I know that this is perhaps the shortest chapter of them all since chapter one, but it's hardly my fault since Yousuke Fuuma, the character from whose point of view this entire fanfiction is being told, was hardly even in the tenth episode of the 'Wedding Peach' anime series. this tenth chapter is a total of five-hundred-twenty-five words of total and complete storyline, save for this headnote on the series along with the disclaimer from yours truly following this headnote once I get done typing it up. the title of my first ever 'Wedding Peach' fanfiction, 'The Love Angel and the Dark-Hearted Devil', is a more or less direct homage to the fairytale of 'Beauty and the Beast'. OK, now to the disclaimer...

disclamation: I don't own either the anime or the manga series of 'Wedding Peach' in any way, shape, or form. i don't know who owns either series, but it sure ain't me. i am but a humble fanfiction blogger on this website and an author of other types of stories on the Internet, specifically on websites such as WattPad.

The next time I met Momoko was when the very next deadline for the school newspaper had arrived. Only problem with her presence on the soccer field was that Yuri and Hinagiku were nowhere there to be seen or heard from.

Captain Yanagiba was giving an inspirational speech to the whole soccer team in appreciation for everyone in the stands cheering on every last one of our teammates in all of our future games against our school's biggest rival, Akebono Junior High.

Captain Kazuya Yanagiba: I just wanna say thank you to all of you for taking off from your lunch break to show us your support. The honor of the St. Hanazono school soccer team is at stake, and there's no way we're gonna let Akebono Junior High beat us.

The crowd then began cheering like crazy. That was when Momoko showed up a little late and had to push her way past a lot of them.

Momoko Hanasaki: 'Scuse me. School reporter coming through.

She was all by herself, too, with no Yuri or Hinagiku to speak of. Momoko had noticed her two friends missing in action.

Momoko Hanasaki: You mean, Yuri and Hinagiku aren't here, yet?

I knew that she was a bit slow on the draw, but I did not think she could be that oblivious to her own surroundings.

Momoko Hanasaki: And on a big news day like this?

With that, the captain had finally called the pep rally to an end.

Captain Kazuya Yanagiba: OK, everybody. We're off.

Then, everyone in the crowd rushed Momoko. Then, they started pushing at her. Then, they started shoving at her. Finally, she fell backwards, and I had to come to her rescue from falling on her butt, with my foot, I might add. I had to say this about it, though;

Yours Truly: I never noticed it before, Momo-pi, but you've got yourself a pretty flat butt there.

Momoko just sat there with my foot supporting her butt and stared at me for a second or two before finally responding to my comment about her butt.

Momoko Hanasaki: Wait a second. Did you just say I've got a flat butt?

Yours Truly: Don't get me wrong. It's not as flat as your chest, but it's still pretty flat.

Then, Momoko began looking at me like a rabid wolf, though in her case, it would have been more like a rabid squirrel.

Momoko Hanasaki: Yo-Yo-Yo_ Yousuke, I hate you!

Yours Truly: Well, what about Yuri and Hinagiku? If you three are such good friends, why are the two of them not even here to help you report on the article?

Of course, I was OK with her hating me if you had to know so badly. And if Yuri and Hinagiku were not even going to help her on the day of their newspaper club's deadline than I suppose that they just were not real friends to begin with. It did feel a bit strange, though, since they had actually seemed like all three of them went way back.
